This review is for the Safelite tech Richard (Rich).Rich was the most experienced professional that I have ever had at my home. He was extremely efficient, while preforming quality work. Rich was very professional, honest, and clean. He even took the time to clean the impossible to reach points on my dashboard! He is very personable and extremely competent in his profession. If you want the job done right, ask for Richard!

The unlikely event happened. I went in for a rock chip repair and ended up with a large split thats going to require a full replacement now. Besides that, I pulled up to a door, since I was right on time for my appointment, and assumed they would work on it within a minute or two. It took 15 minutes before they started and what was estimated to take 30 minutes ended up taking 45. Because I pulled right up instead of parking in a spot, the techs gave me dirty, sideways glances and then loudly proclaimed to another customer that the car had to be moved in order to get the other customers car out. I can write all that off as assuming a lot about the techs but when I got in the car after they inadvertently caused more damage, the seat was pushed all the way to the front beyond what any average person would use. This leads me to believe that someone thought it would be hilarious to move my seat all the way up since I didnt park where they would have preferred.The one upside was that I wasnt charged and the cost that I would have been charged after insurance they are going to apply towards a windshield replacement. The waiting room was clean and the manager at the desk was great. However due to the behavior of the techs and the damage caused I am not inclined to return to this Safelite shop for the replacement unless my insurance forces me too.

The quality of the physical work was good. They replaced my windshield in 1.5 hours. However, I had to take my car there three times. I gave all the appropriate information to the secretary over the phone -- make, model, and year of the car. Then I made an appointment to have the actual replacement done The next week. The first and second times I went there to have the work done, I sat in the waiting room for approximately half an hour only to have a technician come out and tell me, Sorry, but we ordered the wrong part from the warehouse. Youll have to reschedule your appointment. The first time that happened was disappointing. (It is a 30 minutes drive one way from my house to the shop). The second time it happened was infuriating. Another 1.5 his of my day off wasted!So, the physical labor part of the installation seems to be very good. But the act of ordering the right part, which is part of the whole package of service, just seemed too difficult for Safelite to do it right.

Took my 2020 Civic in for a replacement windshield. I had reserved my appointment online. I was a little late for my appointment, yet they were very accommodating. It took a little longer than they had quoted, but I wasnt waiting, so I wasnt in a hurry. They worked with my insurance (Progressive) and the paperwork was a snap. The office staff was friendly and the job was finished when I arrived. They had to recalibrate for the auto braking and the lane assist, and that seems to work fine still. I would recommend this location.

These guys have done great work before so naturally I took my vehicle to the same store I explain to the person at the front desk that I just got hit by a rock and I need immediate attention (Friday am ), before it starts spreading across my windshield but I was told did I make an appointment how did I know that I was going to get hit by a rock? The next opening was Monday afternoon not a half hour later after this incident . Several cracks went all way across my windshield thank you Safelite auto glass now I need to replace the whole windshield!!! Pay more attention to your customers or get rid of that person at the front desk😠

I made an appointment to have their mobile repair service come and replace my windshield. I waited over two weeks and took the day off of work to have them call me just before my appointment and tell me they forgot to order my windshield and someone would call me to reschedule.

We scheduled here after CarMax screwed up and didnt actually schedule Safelite to repair our windshield at their location. They called and made a next day appointment for 8 AM for us. When we arrived, bright and early, they told us they didnt actually have the windshield in and we would have to come back later. Its a 40 minute drive to get here. They said they would call us to schedule an appointment. We never got a call, so we finally called the company and to avoid the drive, we scheduled them to come to our house. They have worked with us to get this taken care of, but this has been an ordeal from the first step. Very annoyed about being scheduled when they didnt even have the equipment and wasting my morning for no reason.

Safelite ruined my car. If I could give 0 stars I would. First, in Utah, they installed my windshield incorrectly and left a gap. When driving across the country, my car flooded on the inside and caused extreme water damage. Now in Charlotte, they were extremely hard to get a hold of. The tech was nice when he came to fix my windshield. The only issue is when they went to reinstall the windshield, it poured rain and now my car battery is dead. They messed up my electrics, I can’t get into my car, and I have water damage. To top it all off, their customer “support” is AWFUL. They are impossible to get in contact with on the phone, rude over text, and are appalling to work with. I wish I had never gone here in the first place. I’m so overwhelmed and this has caused me nothing good.

Always friendly and helpful. They were locking up shop for the weekend (I was super late for my scheduled appointment) and they still helped me out. Great customer service! 5 star all the way.

Sadly, a disaster of a customer service experience. I made an appointment to replace my windshield through my insurance, which was a week out at the time. I arrive, hand over my keys and settle in for the two-hour wait. Moments later, I am summoned, told that the glass they had for my car was cracked, and Ill have to reschedule. No apology, and I had to wait in a long line to reschedule for another week out. I arrive a week later, hand over my keys, and start to settle in, only to be summoned again and told that when they rescheduled my appointment, they failed to reorder new glass. Time to reschedule again! This time, the worker did apologize and offer to put in new windshield wipers as an apology when I returned. I returned a few days later. This time my windshield was replaced. Hooray! And the waiting area is nice. But they left equipment in my car, did not replace the windshield wipers as promised, and noted that they do not cover rock chips like Techniglass did. Overall, I am extremely underwhelmed with this company and will be going elsewhere (if I can) to get my windshield replaced next time.

The service done in my car was fast and excellent, I was sad to see the cleanliness of the place, new place but extremely poorly maintained and made me feel bad as a customer seeing that dirt at 9:00 in the morning 😞

I have a chip in my windshield and previously purchased a lifetime chip fix from Technaglass. Technaglass was acquired by Safelite from a private equity company. I called to schedule an appointment using the number provided online. I was repeated placed on a long hold and then hung up on. So I went to the local Safelite shop to discuss using my Technaglass lifetime chip fix and arrange a time for the work to be completed. The local Safelite guys explained that they do not except any of the Technaglass chip fix passes. Although they acquired the company they will not honor the obligations of Technaglass. They were professional and courteous. This said, I cant do business with them. First, they should honor the commitments of their acquired companies (any attorney want to investigate a fantastic class action lawsuit??) and second I should be able to reach someone on the phone after repeated attempts.

This is a very professional Safelite. The receptionist and the technicians were extremely kind, accommodating and informative. A great experience with a high level of professionalism.

After three years of ownership the OEM windshield was so pitted it was time to replace even though it was still intact. Hard enough to see the lines on I-15 with even afternoon reflections, let alone glare. Add an frosted windshield...Safety first.I prefer to make appointments in person so having to use the on-line function was annoying but, only a minor thing even for a boomer like me. I was able to get scheduled same-day, at a convenient time and at a price I expected to pay and got a $25 promo code for using the online function.I was promptly seen and helped upon arrival. The receptionists, technicians and the manager were courteous and professional. I had the option of waiting inside or outside and was provided a chair to sit on outside in the fresh air enjoying the warm sunlight on an otherwise cool day.The work was completed well within the estimated time. The car was clean inside, my stickers for oil change and HOV pass were intact and I was given clear follow up instructions on the tape removal and when to wash the car again. My wipers are only a couple of months old and they made no attempt to up sell or convince me I needed anything else. Just a sincere thanks for trusting us, please come back when you need too.Then, I enjoyed a late afternoon drive home into the sun with no glare...thank you all. with the sun in the optimum position to glare only, no glare.

Shadaia came to my work to fix a rock chip on my windshield. She was fantastic! On time, enthusiastic, and went above and beyond. I originally stopped into the shop but all the techs were at lunch. I have been very displeased with this company from the customer service not listening, to my visit to American Fork store. I wish technaglass still owned my warranty. I will absolutely not buy from Safelite with the experiences I have had. The people I have came in contact need training on how to keep your customers.I went out of my way and went to the Draper Safelite AutoGlass and had no issues.

The technician who had installed my windshield was very professional and informative I would highly recommend this location as your go-to auto glass needs!

After a bad broken windshield (long story). Safelite was able to get me in and taken care of. Great price and super fast service. After taking the van home it had a slight rattle and whistling noise at high speed. I set an appointment for Safelite to come to my house. Graeme showed up on time with excellent communication for scheduling. He was very patient, and was super friendly. That man deserves a raise! He had me fixed in under an hour. One day later and Im gobsmacked! Two weeks ago I had just forked over hundreds of dollars (not at Safelite) to get a new windshield. Two days later, a rock hit my windshield and left a huge chip. I was crushed. I know from past experiences that a repaired rock chip is still very visible.To keep it from spreading, I made a mobile appointment with Safelite. The wonderful tech, Shadaia, waited patiently for me to get home. She made quick work of the chip (maybe 20-ish minutes), and like I said...Im gobsmacked! I cannot see it AT ALL. Im very particular and youd better believe I inspected that windshield thoroughly. I cant even believe it. Definitely request Shadaia! I didnt take a picture, but just envision a brand new windshield!

Very upset w/people workn there. Last 2years ago theyd replaced windshield,now theyre refusen 2 this year cause of rust still around windshield. Theyd never said anything 2 me bouts the rust 1rst off so now Ive got big mess 2 clean up b4 winshield can b replaced again.

I wasnt planning on leaving a review; however, that changed as I chose to wait outside to socially distance while I waited for Safelite to replace the windshield on my wifes car. While waiting outside Luke brought out chairs for me and another person the had chosen to wait outside. Thanks again Luke for the great customer service. The windshield was changed within the 90 minute window given for the appointment.

Appointments can be made only online. I wanted to speak with someone but the system didnt make it easy. Friendly staff. Filled a rock chip that started spreading the next day. Their warranty on the work is that the price of the rock chip repair is applied to the cost of the new windshield. I was hoping for something better as I went there to avoid having to get a new windshield.

Called for crack they said they would be out Friday at noon called me on Friday at 11:50 to tell me they dont have the windshield its goingbto take an additional two weeks to get it. Save your self some time and go some where else.

Had a windshield that needed to be replaced so I set an appointment. They called and canceled because they needed to order my windshield, which is understandable. They told me theyd call me back when it came in or call by a certain day. They never did. When I call and go through their automated system it wont let me speak to an actual person to find out whats going on. It literally says that because Im using a credit card that they dont have a representative that will speak with me and I have to do it online. Theres no option to speak to someone online and Im not waiting for them to send me an email. I guess they dont want my money.I have no idea how their actual services are, but based on these touch points I dont think I would trust their services when they dont do what they said they would do.

Quick and friendly. Had some issues with scheduling online, but once in person, they were very helpful and setup a time as soon as they could. The new windshield was installed in half the time they expected, with no issues. Thank you.

Left black fingerprints all over my car. My interior is white. Left shavings from the old seal. I won’t be using them ever again in the future. I notified my auto insurance as well! Very disappointing.

The technician who worked on my vehicle was awesome! He was very helpful and explained everything he did. The only reason I am not giving this a five star review is because I scheduled an appointment for one. When I arrived they had no vehicles in the garage so I was a little confused when they didnt pull my car in until closer to two. They were working on other cars that got there 10-15 minutes after me.

I went in to get a simple rock chip repair. The person at the front told me that it would be about 45 minutes. I was a little surprised because I was the only person in the store and could see my vehicle was the only car in the shop garage with 5-6 guys in the shop. I assumed she gave me that time frame just to be safe, however it really did take 45 minutes for a simple rock chip repair! I miss the days of Techna-glass when you could pull up, stay in your car and have it finished within 10 minutes. Overall the staff was very friendly however it took a lot longer than expected.

I made an appointment online for a Saturday morning to have my windshield replaced. Once they had my vehicle the job was completed in 60-90 minutes. They did excellent work and the technician was friendly and informative. The price was surprisingly reasonable. I’ll be back to this location next time I need any work done, and I would recommend this location to friends.

Chip repair experience was great! I scheduled an appointment through their call center and the work was able to be completed the same day. Because of Covid, there were only two employees that day, but they worked efficiently and gave excellent service! Highly recommended for any auto glass repair!

Rock chip repair but I had asked about doing both cracks but they said the second one has been fixed before and I didnt argue with them in the shop because I caught them on their donut breaks. And they took forever to do 1 rock chip repair. I guess Ill learn for myself how to do them for now on.

I did call ahead to schedule an appointment so when I arrived, all my information was already in the system and they were able to take my car right in and fill in the nice rock hole I got that morning during my commute. Everyone was kind and courteous and I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Would recommend!

I had to wait there for a hour and they wouldn’t even bother to fix my windshield. I wish Technaglass was still in business I’ve used them in the past and they were amazing!I feel like the technician that was assigned to fix my glass just didn’t want to do it because it was an hour away form closing time. But I had a 4 o’clock appointment set up but had to leave with the problem unresolved and unsatisfied. Will NOT recommend and will never attempt to use this business again.

Had my windshield replaced. They broke the wiring harness on my camera. When i pointed it out, they took responsibility immediately. They did get it fixed in a timely manner. Reason for a 1 star is because even when they said they would fix it, communication was lacking. I was told they would get the part ordered immediately, and the manger would go pick it up himself. I was unable to get anyone on the phone because everything was routed for the COVID. When i drove back 4 hours later, and asked for a status i was told the part was ordered and would be delivered around 10 the next day.....so much for driving to get it. I had personally contacted the dealership about the part and knew where it was in stock. After i left the store by only 15 min, the manager called and asked me where i had found the part. So much for it being ordered. Next day after the part was delivered everything was fixed. I was told there would be compensation, but i was never even offered a can of window cleaner. I did tell the manager i would take it to the dealer next time i needed a window replaced where he smugly said, they will just call us. Ive used safelite for the last 5 year or more. Never had a problem. Do Not go to this location. I have no issue with the company, only the management at this location. Nothing but lies. No picking up the part, no compensation, no anything. Only thing was he sent a repair driver to shuttle me to my house and back. Didnt even get an Uber only a service vehicle. The repair lady doing the shuttle was very polite.

Awesome rock chip repair. It looks like a brand new windshield. The lobby is clean and comfortable with complimentary coffee and snacks. The shop is extremely well managed and Id definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

UPDATE: they got me in fast and put the tubes back. A little annoying to have to go all the way back, but it did get resolved.I got my windshield replaced here. Somehow during the process they moved the tubes for my wiper fluid and now it sprays on the front of my car and not my windshield. No way to get in touch with a representative at the company.

These guys were so great helping with my Techniglass warranty! I was helped by a very professional gentleman with a dangling nose ring. He did great work and was very courteous. Same with the gal behind the counter.

Safelite did a great job repairing rock chip in my window.. safelite bought out technaglass, but covered my warranty anyway. Thank you.. I hope selafelite will create the same plan.. i will definitely go back again.

At their shop, they did what was asked of them. Took 11/2 hours when they said it was a 30 minute job. The guy who came to our house to replace windows was quick and did a fantastic job!

STILL DON’T HAVE MY CAR BACK!!! Worst shop. Broken promises. 2 days and counting and windshield still not installed. Will be at least 3 days now.Brought car in and called ahead for make sure they knew what they were doing. Told to go to this shop with “50 years of experience”. LolDidn’t finish the job and calibrate at all. Called me to pick up and told me to take it somewhere else to be calibrated since they couldn’t do it after they already cut out windshield. Told to pay for calibration somewhere else and try getting reimbursed by insurance. Not a single apology from the shop manager or owner that I am now out my vehicle for 3 days and still not fixed.Had to take to Audi and they have to try and fix their mistake. Audi already had to replace something they messed up with “gel pad”. Whatever that is.So frustrated and getting worse.

Got a rock chip repaired. Just left a little mark Street the repair. The price was more than I had expected, but the quality and results way exceeded my expectations.
