BE PREPARED!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO COMMUNCATION AND INCORRECT/NO PRODUCT. In January of 2021 My father had his first appointment with Greg, the owner of Glass Doctor. Greg measured for three large pieces of mirror to fit between the baseboards and ceiling in my fathers bathroom. Greg promised a quick turnaround. Two months later, Greg returned to install the mirror. He started the installation of two mirror pieces only for my father to find that the mirrors were cut 3 inches too short. On the third piece of mirror, the cutout for the plug was entirely in the wrong place on the mirror, thus this mirror piece could not be used. My father was obviously NOT happy with the mirror pieces that were too short and that the third piece was completely wrong. Greg said that if my father could work with the incorrect pieces, he would work with him on the price. My father then told Greg that he wanted 3 inch mirror cut to run the length of the bathroom to make up for the shortage. Greg measured at this time for the 3 inch mirror. Greg again promised a quick turnaround for both the 3 inch mirror pieces and the improperly cut mirror. Another 2 months later, the third piece of mirror arrived with the cutout in the proper spot. At this time, Greg again measured for the 3 inch mirror as well as for a tub enclosure. As I am writing this review, it is now 9 months later. My father has NO 3 inch mirrors and NO tub enclosure. It was at this time my father called and spoke with Brittany in the office. He told her that he would give them 1 week to complete his project or he would leave a negative review on their website. Brittany explained that this could not happen as they did not have the mirror pieces cut, nor had the shower enclosure been ordered. Brittany had failed to call him with a price quote on the shower enclosure and thus, it had not been ordered. To their credit, Greg and Brittany are very nice people, however, in my opinion, thoroughly incompetent. If you are still considering using The Glass Doctor, please read my review again!! We shopped around at several places around Utah County and this was the best deal! They also were able to schedule us in a matter of 2 days, while other places were scheduled out weeks ahead. The technician was on time and very professional. We ended up needing a different windshield because of our heated windshield wipers (we weren’t aware our car had that feature), so they had to reschedule to come back the next day. Our technician was so patient and kind about it and even took care of scheduling it for us. It was such a painless process and we are so grateful about that!

I made an appointment with another glass company in American Fork ten days in advance. When I showed up for my appointment I was told my windshield was not there. I then called Glass Doctor and not only were able to replace my windshield the next day and come to my house at no extra charge, but it was $80 less.The installer Jacob was awesome. He did a great job and even fixed the edging next to the windshield that had been previously damaged. I would recommend Glass Doctor to anyone.

I had a large rock chip on my 2016 WRX and glass doctor was a recommending provider through my insurance company. I put in the request Thursday night and got a call from them Friday morning to schedule the mobile installation appointment for later that day. Tech called 20 minutes before arriving to confirm and was done in about 40 minutes. Happy with the timely service and quality job.

My entire experience with Glass Doctor was outstanding. Communication was excellent--Multiple texts to confirm appointment and texts about arrival time for their mobile tech-- Pricing was better than other quotes I got and a special shout out to Jacob for this professionalism, speed and the quality job he did. He even washed *all* the windows of my SUV when cleaning the newly installed windshield. Thats going above and beyond. Just a 5 star experience all the way round and I will be using them in future for my auto glass needs.

Glass Doctor replaced the windshield in our VW Atlas. I got a call from our installer who told me he was running a little ahead of schedule, and if I was available he would come earlier. Otherwise he could come at the appointed time. He came and was very nice to work with. The install happened quickly, and the price was exactly what was quoted on the phone. Perfect, new windshield. I love what they did and how they did it! Definitely calling them for all my glass needs.

**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY** I started a glass shower door installation in March. Two botched glass orders and an installation attempt which resulted in broken glass all over bedroom. The fourth attempt finally completed this month. The only consolation provided was a meager $40 discount. After repeated attempts to talk to owner to no avail. This is the worst customer service and poor execution I have ever experienced with a contractor. The owner clearly doesn’t care about making the customer happy or holding up his end of the contract. The only jobs they will respond to are those that go correct. No one should use this company, unless they want a 4 month project with broken glass and headaches.

These guys are much better the safelite, use them, they are way cheaper and better at taking care of the customer

I priced out several businesses for replacing the windshields on our two cars. I really like that a person answered the phone and my questions. I appreciated the prompt responses via email as well. They were efficient with the time frame they told me and were happy we went with Glass Doctor.It would be grand if they had a big sign out so its easier to find.

I originally schedule to take my car to Safelite. I scheduled my visit 4 days in advance, and showed up on-time for my appointment. However, I was turned away because they were missing a part. In the parking lot of Safelite I did a quick google search for other options and found Glass Doctor. They were easy to work with and came to my home and did my windshield replacement perfectly, and they were over $100 cheaper. I would highly recommend giving them a shot.

Everything looked pretty good and they did the job in a timely manner and showed up on time. The downfalls were the back window seems to be raised up considerably higher than OEM which could present issues with weather. They also used tape that does not peel off at all. Its like they used a paperbacked duct tape. They also didnt clean up any of the glass mess from the broken back window. There was glass everywhere and we had already cleaned up after it shattered, so it was all mess they made removing the rim of broken glass still attached to the car that had to be removed. I would think a quality window installer would take more pride than that in their work.

We had a great experience with the people at glass doctor. They came and measured our cabinet doors in a timely manner and went above and beyond to show us nice products and give us reasonable prices. They even price matched and gave us a more desirable price on the glass we wanted. Installation was quick and they came to in our home to install the glass rather than having us bring in our cabinet doors. The other company we looked into would have required us to bring in our cabinet doors. I would defiantly recommend The Glads Doctor.

I have an old home, and Greg special ordered interior storm windows so they wouldnt detract from the architectural feature of my wood exterior window frames which are original to the home.

Rock chip repair overpriced. I googled it, then I was like i just need a couple of rock chips in my vehicle fixed near home. I arrived there and for a moment I thought it was an out of business office because the building looks abandoned. It turned out a man was inside in a disorganized and dirty office. I told him I needed rock chip repair. He said $39.95 I said ok lets take care of my windshield. Once he got his rock chip kit out and was working on my car he told me it was $15 per additional rock chips. He said he didnt tell me that because he thought i only had one rock chip. I did get fixed only one. Everybody is better off going somewhere else for rock chip repair due to better prices and service.

Greg came to my location, on time, and got to work straight away. He was quick, polite, and professional. The windshield looks great and Glass Doctor had the best price, too. I would recommend Glass Doctor for a glass repair/replacement.

I have used Glass Dr several times & they provide excellent service. Great price, great warranty. The only concern is they are difficult to reach on the phone. Be persistent, they are worth the small frustration.

One of windows was hit with a BB gun pellet, leaving a hole. Most places tried to sell me a new window or wouldnt take on a small job but Glass Dr did. I had a great experience with everyone i worked with. They were prompt, professional, and did great work replacing the damaged pane of glass. Id recommend them to anyone in need of repair.

We have used this place for many house improvements and have really liked their prices. They made a glass table top for us for a little over 100 when the quotes we got from others were 400+, put glass inserts in all our kitchen cupboards - including all the cutting out the wooden centers - for far less then we budgeted, and fixed our glass bookself for only $8. I like that they come and do free bids and are willing to figure out a price for all my ideas. They have good service and have helped us tons. My sister and sister in law use them too...we all found they do good work for the best prices.

You guys were quick easy and respectful. Had better prices than other places. I didnt have to replace my whole window, just the glass. Glass doctor was able to do that in less than a half hour on 2 windows. This means that my siding was spared, and they didnt scratch up anything.

I had two glass chips that needed repaired. I called my insurance to find out if they would cover it, and my agent told me they didn’t. When I brought my car in to the Glass Doctor, they asked what insurance I had and told me it should cover it. They called my insurance claims department for me, and sure enough, it was covered. They were friendly and fixed the chips quickly, and I was on my way. Thanks!

Not really sure why there are so many bad reviews on here. I was late for my appointment and the Glass Doctor worked with me. He was professional and direct which is something my husband and I appreciate in a person. He installed my windshield and it looks fantastic! I will continue to come back for my glass needs and I definitely recommend the Glass Doctor.

The Windshield was a good price. They did what they said they would do.

After waiting for 61 days after being promised a 15 day wait, and having had them take payment 61 days ago, I still have not received the shower doors. One call after 45 days explaining that it will be done that week. More than 2 weeks later and they still havent even started on it. My suggestion is find someone who will keep their word or at least perhaps call with updates.

The estimate was free and quick, the man who came out also gave me advice on helping some windows that were getting stuck work without having to replace them. They were professional, pretty quick, and gave a good price. Another place that we had come out gave us estimates to replace the whole window, not just the glass and it was double the cost.

Summary: shoddy workmanship, and spotty communication at best.I had them come out to my home and replace a broken exterior window which they did, but they installed one with a crack in it that has since progressed into a full length crack. They sent people on two occasions to document the crack, once before it spread and once after, but now its been over two months and nothing gets done! On the few occasions that I can actually speak to someone (because they hardly EVER answer or return phone calls or emails), they tell me theyre waiting to hear back from their manufacturer for a replacement. But I didnt pay their manufacturer to fix my broken window, I paid them, and what I got was another broken one, and its just a matter of time before my toddler slices his finger on the exposed crack. I truly doubt whether theyll ever make it right.

This was the worst experience ever I used glass doctor to replace a window in my garage. I got a bid on March 22 was told glass would be in 7 to 10 days I went with this company cause they were suppose to be the fastest and from there time frame they gave me well two weeks went by never heard a word from them I left message they only text back saying the grid for the window was ordered wrong it would be another week Two more weeks went by they showed up but the glass was the wrong size so 10 days later got a text saying glass would be in the next Monday they set up a Time to come do on Wed at 300 I got off work again early for the 3 rd time Mind you I work 30 miles from home got a text just as I got home at 223 saying they weren’t coming because of weather I got upset saying I was at my house there not a drop of rain The girl sent some out around 500 by the time he got there it was raining so they came back the next day from the day I did my bid till I got the glass but in was 6 weeks and it was more money then my other quotes I was told I would be given a discount They did give me a discount of 34.00 what a slap in the face. This company was the most unprofessional company I have ever used please think twice before you use them. When you pay to get a service done fast that’s what you should get.

Glass doctor replaced a windshield in my car. They came to my work and changed the windshield in my parking lot. I only had a limited time to have the service completed so, it was imparative to be done on time. They completed the job a head of schedule and below the price quoted. I would recomend glass doctor to anyone looking for a great price and great service.

Fixed what was wrong with a shower kit and got it installed correctly.

Some of our upstairs windows (not installed by this company) had problems with water leaking into the bedroom and not draining out of the window frame. The technician came to look at them and told me how to fix the problem myself or we could have him do the repairs. He did part of the work and then I tried to fix the other issues myself. When I was unable to get the water to drain out of the frame, he came back and figured out how to get the job done. He was always so polite and kind.

The American Fork office gave us a quick estimate. After that we never heard back from them after making our order. My wife and I called several times and left several messages. My wife got a hold of a person one other time. She promised to call back after checking on our order but never did. We were very disappointed in the customer service.

This is the worst place I have ever done business with. Completely un-professional. Do not do business with this place! My windows arrived 2 months late! As a result of their incompetence, I had to install my windows in December instead of October. I had ordered them in August. They never returned a phone call when I left a message and I called weekly. They didnt know what was going on with my windows every time they actually picked up the phone. I eventually learned that their system had an error and they did not even order my windows until late October, past when I thought Id receive them. When I finally picked up the windows the secretary said shed give me a very reasonable discount. After I left and she charged my card, it was a significantly higher price than what she had said. I learned, she was apparently not authorized to give such a discount. I repeat, do not do business here.

I started to look for a home window repair company at the beginning of October. I got a bid from GlassDoctor Nov 1. The gentlemen stated it would be 2 weeks to order and receive the 2 replacement windows. I waited, no call. I called at 2.5 weeks. Left messages, was told I would get a call back. Nope. Called again and talked to a lady who said the vendor was behind, but estimated a delivery date and scheduled an appointment for installation. (today 12/1 between 9-11 am) I took off work, in a very busy season, and here I am. No calls from them, no glass, no technician. I write this for two reasons,1. Dear GlassDoctor, Please restore your good business and name by calling people and/or switching vendors, stick to windshields, hire more people, evaluate what makes you the most money and has the most satisfied customers and stick to that only, saying no to all other work, and/or change your business plan. I understand being busy or having emergencies, but remember your customers have lives too, and they are who keep you in business. I know you can do it, if you decide to!2. Buyer protection. Time is our most valuable commodity. Once spent, we can never get it back. Its priceless. Had I seen the reviews, I would have never gone with this company right now, plain and simple.Now, GlassDoctor, I imagine you have been an amazing company, I wish you the best and my hope is you make some changes, do more calling and less google review responding, and bury this review with hundreds of positive ones!!!

I placed my order August 8th, 2016, the windows were not ordered from supplier until August 15th. Today is September 6th and I have had no updates and still no windows. I was told it would take 2 weeks. Its been almost a month. Terrible project management.

Good fast service on a rock chip repair

I ordered a 72 round piece of glass for my kitchen table. I waited over SIX WEEKS, never hearing from them. I called today to follow up. The receptionist said, Oh, we meant to call you. Our supplier doesnt make these anymore. I canceled the order, hung up and called Jones Paint and Glass. It will be here in one week. I will never use Glass Doctor in American Fork again.

I cant say anything about their work because they never called me back! I talked to the customer support department three times and they assured me that there was a call into a tech to call me to get an estimate. No one ever called. I guess they really didnt want my business.
