Met with Aaron after getting a $500 quote for replacement and fluids for a power steering pump. Based on the quote from the peppy boy, Aaron quoted me about $120 less so we went with Olympic. It turned out that the p/s pump DIDNT need replaced and it was just a broken o-ring. The repair cost was $56 after he goperfprmed his own assessment. I was referred to Olympic by a neighbor and theyve earned my trust. The large retailer just wanted take a big sale and theyve lost my trust. That large retailer put on a high pressure sales pitch and wanted me to decode right the . After I said I wanted a 2nd opinion, you could see the wind leave his sails. The peppy boy wanted to charge $57 for p/s flush and refill..Olympic charged $5 for the fluid.

Absolutely THE best mechanic in central Florida! I have a 1996 Honda Civic that I purchased with 3 miles on it. I just turned 304,000 miles on it this week and NO ONE has worked on this car but Bob and his staff.You will not find any mechanic as honest and accountable as Bob and his team of mechanics.Here is a quick example. Last summer my ac started warm, I stopped by and Bob ran a quick diagnostic - filled me up with some freon and I was back on the road. He could have pulled the you need a compressor, etc. but nope, topped off the freon and was off.If you live within an hours drive of Olympic, it is well worth your time and money to take your car (or have it towed) to Olympic.Note: I am not related to Bob in any way other than he works on my cars.I just posted this because he is one of the few individuals and businessesout there that is fair and honest. His son is getting ready to take over the business and he is just as honest and fair as Bob.I wont take my car anywhere else. Thanks Bob, Aaron, Joe, Eddie and all of the mechanics!

Great Service & Trustworthy - I was referred to them from my Diesel Mechanic 1 year ago for an AC problem. It turned out to be a missing bolt in my AC clutch, a simple inexpensive repair. I again came back with another vehicle recently and this time I needed a freon charge. They fixed this with no charge. Unbelievable! ...They are just outstanding. I would not think about going anywhere else for my service needs.

Brought my car in today for a wheel bearing change. First time here and I was very impressed. Staff was friendly and my car was finished in a few hours. Tires plus quoted me double what I charged me here. I appreciate the honesty that I was given here. I will defiantly be a returning costumer in the future!

Honest, quick, decent prices

Weve taken our family cars to Olympic Auto for years. They are reasonably priced and up-front with us about repairs. Some work such as a transmission issue they have referred us out for. For run of the mill maintenance, this is the place to go. Most work is completed in the same day.

Bob is the most honest mechanic Ive ever dealt with. His and his teams work is always quick and fair and solves the problem. Whenever I have an issue with my car I go here because Bob treats me fairly and honestly. Finding a mechanic you can completely trust is hard these days, but I trust him completely. Olympic Auto is the only garage I take my car to, I really cant recommend it enough.

Ive been going to Olympic for about 10 years with a variety of vehicles. Ive referred approx 20 people - all of which seem to agree with me & keep coming back. Not flashy, but extremely honest! Ive had them talk me OUT of work on many occasions. 9 out of 10 times their prices are right. On the occasion they are high, its not by much. The peace of mind I get is well worth the rare higher price. I dont usually wait around - usually first come, first serve; I drop off my vehicle at 7am OR night before and pick it up later. Cant say enough about Bob & his team!

Ive been to many repair shops and this has been hands down one of the most helpful and honest ones in awhile.Aaron did a great job keeping me informed and at ease after my car stalled in the middle of Semoran, I had my car towed there and left it there while I was at work.Before I had even left he had my car started again which was a relief.He called me to tell me the potential problems and there solutions and that hed wait after he got off so I could come collect the car.In the end, it turned out to be a simple fix instead of trying to upcharge me and find problems to fix (Which my car has tons of), he did the right thing and fixed my car so I can commute to work everyday.Thank you Aaron.

Had sercurity issues with my 1998 monte carlo, had my vehical towed 2.8 miles down the road, dont know if it was a flatbed or a regular tow truck. Car facing forward in the drive way. Towed friday morning they worked on monday morning. Told me it needed a new ignition in the steering column, i said fine. They gave me a quote of 325.00 fine. When it was done the balance was 360.00. Paid it, as i was leaving notice my hood was damaged bad. And my car was smoking. I went in and asked was my hold like this when the tow company brought it, they said yep. Why in the heck would the tow company open my hood? Makes now since. Then while i was standing there with my hood open watching all the smoke coming out im thinking to myself why? Then the gentleman said i spare 100.00 dollars for a hood from a junk yard i was like no thanks.. Man the worst experiance ever, not even going to waste my time with these lieing people. Just tell the truth. I will never go back or never recommend anyone coming here 30 yrs or not. So unhappy!!!

Its the end of an era for me. Used Olympic for close to 20 years. The owner is one of the kindest people Ive known. However, the last few times I was there the owner was not. The individual who appeared to be running things is an extremely unpleasant individual. He rude and nasty. I have never felt like I was inconveniencing a business by wanting to give them my money to this degree in my life. After the first couple times I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I wouldnt throw away a relationship with that kind of longevity ove one or two visits. But there are only so many times I will be treated like IM the problem.

Most awesome auto/a/c repair shop I have ever been to. Yesterday on the way to see my husband, the a/c on the drivers side of my car went out! Yep, just one side only. Passenger side worked great; drivers side, nothing but hot air. I told the lady at the front desk (where my husband was) what had happened and she told me about this place. Told me I should read the reviews and that people even come from out of town to have their cars fixed here. I found that hard to believe. I did however, stop by this place on my way home an explained to them what was going on with my car. Joe immediately said it sounded like the blendor/accuator(sp?) and though they couldnt get to it then, suggested I bring it by the next morning. I asked what time they opened and he said 7:30 AM. I was there at 7:00 AM. To my pleasant surprise there was already someone there. I gave them the key and they looked at it and sure enough thats what the problem was. Now, I hadnt had breakfast yet, so I asked if there was somewhere close I could get something. Aaron told me where and since they had to wait on the part, let me go get myself something to eat. I brought it back to the shop, enjoyed a nice leisurely breakfast while they worked on my car. I also needed a new wiper blade for the passenger side (after speaking with Joe at OIympic the day before, and then continuing on my way home, it started a torrential downpour and the drivers side wiper blade simply came apart). I stopped at another auto parts store on my way home and picked up a wiper blade. While the gentleman was nice enough to put it on for me, the cost for one wiper blade was unbelievable! Anyhow, long story short, not only did Olympic fix my a/c problem in a timely manner (I was out of there by 9:15 AM) at a VERY reasonable price, but they also did not charge me for the wiper blade. I did not know this until I got home and was looking at the receipt (which by the way, I had forgotten and they were good enough to call to let the lady at the front desk know so she could tell me). I called them to tell them about it and they said yes, they knew and not to worry about it. This is by far the best place I have found (make that been referred to) to have a car worked on. For years we took our vehicles to a different shop and it was fine in the beginning, but since the owner has let his employees (because I think he is probably getting ready to retire) take over the business, we havent been happy with them for quite awhile. Prices are out of sight and vehicle not being fixed properly (you know, Youre vehicle is ready. and then a week later you have the same problem. I would gladly and HIGHLY recommend Olympic Auto to anyone and everyone I know or meet. They are absolutely THE BEST! Thank you Joe, Aaron and all the rest of your superior employees! You have a customer for life! Oh, and Christy, thank you for the wonderful conversation we shared this morning. It really helped pass the time. God bless you all and thank you for being so reasonable but most of all HONEST!

1 of the worst mechanics Ive found. Has no idea what theyre doing. Will just start replacing parts hoping problem goes away & assures you its necessary. Makes your car worse because of the bad used parts they get then blames it on your car. Will leave your car sitting there, never work on it & never call unless you sit in their half used car sales office that has no ac. Obvious they would rather sell your car than fix. Will go to dealerships before here.

Very disappointed with the quality of service delivered here. Friends and family highly reccommended; although I was quite unpleased as they failed to properly diagnose the vehicles problem, and not even 4 days after receiving the vehicle back, the same issue worsened and ultimately failed, all due to their incompetence.The worst part, is they FAILED to take responsibility for any of this (now est. cost $1200-2000), and instead blamed it on my daughter.TL;dr: Dont go to this mechanic, as a woman they will mislead you, take your money, and blame it on you.

Owner is bob and is down right rude, gives multiple estimates to me and doesnt commit, held my car for 2 and a half days before telling me he didnt want to put in the energy to fix it. The employees there are very nice however. If you dont want to put in the work for the money and are picky choosy, dont ge a mechanic. Especially the owner of a shop.
