Advanced Auto Parts sold us a $170 battery jumper box start that they said was charged. We walked two miles to purchase it and brought it back to our car to find the charger was indeed not charged. Then they refused to help claiming their delivery drivers were gone for the day. Worst customer service experience, this location didnt care or try to help. OReillys customer service is far better.

I was being waited on but then employee answered phone in the middle of helping me. She began a long conversation. She stayed on the phone for a long time. Another employee at the register Brandon helped and was quick and polite. The other employee she never apologized and stayed on the phone and then got someone else to help her on the phone.

Quick efficient service - ordered what was needed - be at store in a week - the only issue I have is not with AAP but the fact that Jeep can be so greedy to charge so much for a right rear lower body reflector! Would never buy Double $ @ Jeep with a AAP $38 part charge for a 3x5 inch piece of shaped red plastic! No wonder their vehicles cost way TOO much!
Yesterday tuesday March 23rdaround 8 pm the two attendants were RUDE and spoke to me in a offensive tone of voice and did not want to help me with what I needed and were very argumentative I wish they were disciplined. Thanks.

Guys there didnt really know how to test anything on my car. Came back with all different ideas why my car wouldnt start.
On Sunday night I got my engine coolant temperature light on while I was driving not far from this location. I had to stop the car to let the engine cool down and check what was going on. So after I did so I immediately drove to this store to check on my coolant. Thanks god it just ran out of liquid. Louis who was working there that night was so kind to help me out to check on my coolant to make sure it wasn’t any other issues. He helped to find the right kind and get it changed and shared some good advises. As a girl who doesn’t know much about the cars I appreciated his help so much. He is incredible kind courteous and helpful!! 👏🥳 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 you Louis for everything!

They had the battery I needed (called first to make sure) and they installed it for me. Very friendly staff.
This place is really nice. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about items youll need. They inquire about what youre doing to make sure they are giving you the correct product. They can look up all parts for your vehicle like most other places to give you the correct item. They dont try and upsell you which I appreciate. They will even lend you tools youll need to complete most little jobs if you dont have them. They will also help you install little odds and ends. Free diagnostic reports are always great as well so you know whats going on with your car when you take it into the dealer so they cant jerk you around.
No one acknowledged myself or my husband the entire time in the store. Even stood near the front desk as we had a question about a product and the lady working saw us and didnt even say hello. When checking out, she just talked on the phone the entire time.
Bob is awesome!!! He is so friendly and welcoming and made me feel like we were family. I needed a new battery, oil, and filters and he looked up every item with a smile and explained everything to me. He even carried all my bags to my car and installed the battery for me. Hes a great employee, every auto parts store needs a guy like him!

I purchased a few things for a tune up, bought the lifetime warranty spark plug cables and after a few yrs I had to do it all over again... how convenient for them nothing shows up in there system even thou all the information they have has not changed. Now I will have to buy a new set of wires. Advanced auto has ripped me off for the last time I will no longer recommend or buy anything in your stores. I will make sure others hear about this.
I have always gotten a fair shake from this store. Polite, honest help with knowledgeable associates. They have honored some questionable refunds for me, where i got the wrong tool/part, used it anyways, and then realized it wouldnt work...still at least got store credit. They will test anything i bring them for free. They have stopped installing batteries though, for the most part. But they still lent me the tool for me to do it ;)

Had a unopened return, with receipt, bought at another store . Was accused of trying to use the item and return it, although that is not what happened. Ended up having to return to original store. And was apologized to by the manager of the original store for the behavior of the associate at another store. I worked in retail a long time, was totally within policy and return period. There was no reason for the hassle inconvenience or accusations
If youre not doing online orders the store rips you off every time online you can get anywhere from 20 to 40% off as long as you go to the promo sites guys behind the counter a cool when trusting on every mechanical $0.02 they have but their system cells me the wrong part almost every time I got a job to do on my truck or car again online great just going in the store and buying your part and getting ripped off

This is another places were customer services is under the floor. I was there yesterday the manager came to help me he had about the nasty. Attitude not professional I was asking him about a order l places he was. Arguing. That they dont work like that is impossible to places a order like that, until he found the order I made in the computer. By one of he employed he even told me that he was going to call the police. He was the one that need. To cool down had a very unprofessional attitude and was Arguing how that order was places I think he district manager. And corporate should know what kind of people they got working for them and how some customers get treat it. At the stores. Advance auto part in altamonte springs. He should be retrained about customer services from today on I will not spend my money at this store and recommend any body to go to this store I be afraid that he or she get treat it like I did I gave one star so I can add this. Went in for headlights I saw on the website and they had a good selections. I had some questions about the sizing and the associate was able to answer all of them.

This is the only location with damn near everything in stock, they are the hub for there region there for have almost everything you could need. Service can be slow at times and if you are not aggressive enough you will find yourself waiting to be noticed before you get taken care of. My advice is to go in knowing what you need and making it known to an employee as soon as possible. Also preordering an item online for pickup in store will save you 15% - 25%, you can even do this while you are in the store. They also price match like AutoZone however it is not advertised so always look for the best price and bring parts number or screenshot in for them and they will do there best to accommodate.
Even though they were about to close they went above and beyond to help me. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this place for auto needs

Please people be aware these people do not honor there returns or their customer.Tried to return a gasket set and the rude store clerk denied my request I had my receiptand it was in the 90day period. Called customer support and even chatted online about there policy was misleading they could not give me a straight answer.Dont buy anything here your better of with auto-zone or eBay they were honor your return. Useless customer service online, phone, chat. Friendly staff that were very helpful. I did have some questions go unanswered, but they were very specific to my situation. All in all, they helped me out more than I expected and led me in the right direction.
Run by lazy staff.Two separate visits to note:, First one I needed a secondary bulb for a VW CC with upgraded head lights. I inform the guy at the counter that he just selected the standard CC and he says it will not be a problem... Sure enough the bulb listed in the computer was wrong and I had to come back to return it.Next visit, waiting in line, three guys at three different registers, nobody is even trying to clear out the queue of people in line. Soon as I asked if someone else could check out my items they started working...

They seem to think everyone knows all of their policies. I bought a battery brand new from here and put it in my car for no longer than a day. Since the problem wasnt the battery I took it out and brought it back. They forgot to mention that once you take the battery out of the door its yours forever. I tried to talk to the manager and it was no help. I explained that no where in the receipt does it state that I cant return it and he said Its our policy thank you Dave S. For not helping at all. And again thank you Dave S. for selling me a non returnable item.
