Went to Best Buy today for a laptop. Seth was the salesrep who greeted me right away. I must have spent 45 minutes asking questions and looking at different models. I am surprised at Best Buy staying open these days. Going in I see why. They offer a wide variety of good products. I enjoyed browsing. It’s nice to shop in person sometimes, especially for electronics. Clean and friendly staff too.
Did a lot of research on refrigerators and Best Buy had the best price and in stock. Our salesman Skip was thorough and informative. Delivery in 3 days...hopefully all will go well.
Employees are there, but make themselves scarce. Ask for help and i waited 15min for someone. Employee arrives and walks past me to assist a guy near me. Told Him I was waiting but says sorry we are short staffed. So my options were to wait a LONG time or leave. Wouldnt recommend THIS Location to anyone. How do you have staff walking around but no one is available?!
I have to say.... Like most people, I have shopped at Best Buy through the years. I cant say that Ive ever really had a bad experience at any of their locations, but the service that I received from Elvis at this store surpassed the service I have received from any associate at any big box store. I was there recently to purchase a laptop for work. Upon meeting a gentleman named Elvis (in the laptop area of the store), I explained my situation and he showed me the systems that had the specs I was looking for. Unfortunately, none of the units that would have worked where in stock. He then patiently took the time to check the inventory for any open box items that were available. Amazingly, he found one unit in the system that fit the bill. Then, he asked me to give him a moment and walked over to the geek squad section to get it for me. It was just what I needed. Not only did he do all of this, but he even helped me research the Asus website for the compatible RAM needed to upgrade the unit. I couldnt believe how much time he spent helping me find what I was looking for. I am not sure if he will ever see this post... But I had to take the time to acknowledge the courteous and professional demeanor of an employee that doesnt even receive a commission for the sale! Thank you for your help... You absolutely rock Elvis!!!
Fed up with BBThey sell new technology but don’t have a phone system that allows you to talk to an English speaking person and traps you in a matrix of options to select from a menu without a category that applies. Bought three items this week on a Tuesday. Tried to call and order direct on the phone but apparently there’s no option for that caveman request. Forced to order online and it said all items were available for immediate pickup. Pressed the button for delivery within 48 hours. This started a chain reaction of 30 emails impossible to keep up with. When the items didn’t show I called and it turned into an hour of being transferred around the phone matrix until a not so English speaking person explained as best as possible. Now I’m waiting for three separate deliveries over a week time where they require you to have to set an appointment to be home. They asked numerous times what number to notify you to arrange this. They do not call the number given and call one that was not given and where I am hardly available to hear it. Four days later and I’m still waiting for a delivery but the emails continue with further instructions about calling to arrange delivery but the there’s no one at the number who can expedite this and the automated system doesn’t have an option to click for such a situation. Will also add that every time a geek squad person comes to the house they were not instructed properly as to what they are here for and unprepared and understaffed to complete. I currently have a project that took them 4 trips to the house to get right. The guys themselves are very helpful but you can tell they are not properly informed or prepared. I thought this follow up purchase of three items should be easy but I’m wrong. I’m done with the aggravation and they should name the company Best Sale and not Best Buy because they are only good at taking the money and fall short on the delivery and installation
Great place to get your electronic goods. Wouldve rated a 5 star but I had to drive an hour away just to get my dream t.v a LG C1. None of the best buy near me had any in stock. Couldve had it shipped but I didnt want to wait so I drove an hour away to pick it up myself. Very friendly staff, always able to answer my questions & they are helpful.
Terrible product quality ! I bought a 65 smart TV that only lasted 4 months. Best Buy will not replace or refund stating they only have a 2 week return policy unless you buy an extended warranty. If Best Buy does not carry quality electronics they should at very least give you an actual warranty without charging more for it. No problem tho I have a Best Buy Credit Card that will be shredded after today. I will not do business with Best Buy again. To many other options that work better for me .
Usually 5 Star just dont do curbside at 6PM. Great customer service guy. Not his fault. The system said 11 minutes cool. Refreshed after 11 now 20 minutes. Okay. Didnt get it until 35 minutes. Maybe more. Usually get it in 5.
Employees used to be helpful.. Twice during my last visit I had to wander the store to try and find assistance. First time I finally found two Employees leaning on boxes chatting with each other. They do have good prices however.

I am grateful to have Geek Squad on my team! They helped me out as quick as they could to get my computer back to me so I can focus on my business. What I appreciate more is the customer service I received while there, SHOUT OUT to Makayla for her follow up email which was unexpected and much appreciate, Nick for working on my laptop and bringing her back to life, Nick and Woody for their knowledge and support. It is always BEST to speak to EXPERTS who can advise and assist you with your concerns/issues. I am glad I can call Geek Squad to come to the rescue so I can focus on my customers.
I have been an elite member with them for the last 5 years. I have the opportunity to shop at many different Best buy stores throughout orlando. I have to say this is the store I prefer because of the customer service that day before. Great Job
Altamonte best buy is the worst service ever!!! Having a dash camera installed that did not work. They told me to come back another day to take it out. Also telling me I only had two weeks to return it. I told them I had to leave town for two weeks. That didnt seem to matter because the guy told me he had another install to do. So bottom line here is I was told to drive away even though the new camera I bought at best buy didnt work. After speaking to the manager it was only then that they took the faulty camera out. Now my radio doesnt work. After calling the service dept. and giving all the information they hung up on me. NOT HAPPY AND NEVER GOING TO O BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Lastly after the installer was upset about having to take the camera out, my new alpine radio suddenly stopped working. Funny how that happened if you get my meaning. Never never never again will I go to best buy. They were terrible !!

Good location, small store with very helpful staff. Overall the store is clean and displays were well stocked. I bought an item online and used this location to pick it up. Not a large selection of sizes for laptop carry cases, I’m not a big fan of back pack laptop bags. Limited stock on flash drives. Plenty parking with easy access to the store.
Mislabeled item cost 3x what the rack said. Employee told me I could take a picture and take it up with best buy because things dont scan wrong. First time in a best buy in years, last time ever.
Today I went into the Altamonte location to trade in an iPad, I thought that resetting factory settings would be fine but turns out the “find my iPhone” is still enabled. The manager Matt came over and sent me to the computer section to log in with my apple ID. After explaining my situation to the tech, it had been some time and we weren’t getting anywhere. Matt saw I needed help and came right over from across the store: he helped with the apple process and I was all set.As someone that has worked management in retail for many years It’s so important that the manager goes above and beyond while working side by side with the staff. Thank you Best Buy Team.

Everything that I had hoped for!The staff is friendly, efficient and professional. They were attentive to their customers and are well informed.I had a laptop that needed repairs, so I went to the Geek Squad department of the store. Although I did not schedule an appointment, I waited no longer than 20 minutes! While in line, they even asked me a few questions about my visit to have an idea on how to help me ahead of time!I then went to purchase a new laptop. While looking, one of the staff asked me if I needed assistance. I gave him a rough idea on what I was looking for and he went ahead and looked up MULTIPLE options for me. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by this location if you want a fast and efficient shopping experience! 10/10

I visited the store today to get assistance with purchasing the right cables for a receiver. Fred was the customer service representative that guided me through the process of setting everything thing up. He was so patient and answered all of my questions. If you need any audio/video assistance he is very knowledgeable and will give you excellent service.

This store is amazing! I bought a game console and the extended warranty for it. The manufacturer was unable to fix it and Best Buy gave me the store credit to buy a new one! Geek Squad was very helpful and all of the Geek Squad employees were so nice. Thank you!
My mom bought the new flipphone from Samsung about 2 weeks ago. Had to order the phone. The sales representative said that if the phone was paid for that same day, she would get a 150 bestbuy giftcard to spend in store .nevertheless,after 3 weeks phone came in and she never got that giftcard. Excuse after excuse nothing was done. That promotion was never valid, miscommunication ect you name it.I felt that sales guy just wanted to make the sale and took advantage of my mom. You dont have to lie to make a sale. If theres no promotions dont lie about them . Been coming here for years and never had this terrible experience.

Purchased an excellent condition open box TV, picked it up and it was missing everything promised. Had to buy a new TV and spent a grand more. They werent willing to help with their mistake. Not a fan, might rerun for principal alone.

Was over half hour .looking at car stero and speakers..than went and got someone than everything was out of stock or no longer available... would of took the floor model was not offered... was going to spend over 500 to 1000... went on Amazon and delivered next day
Just FYI. Customer service is at the cash registers. I walked in with 5 associates looking at me with a keyboard in my hand ready to make a return. All of them failed to tell me that customer service is actually at the checkout registers. I stood at the customer service desk for 10 minutes waiting for one of the many employees that walked past me to help me, only to be told customer service Is at the check out line. It’s not that hard to post a sign.

The geek squad at this location is basically useless. I would not recommend purchasing any of their protection plans as they seldomly seem to be able to fix anything. I have now had several appointments where the 1-800 number told me they could take care of it and made an appointment for me at the store only to be disappointed by the store technician telling me that the item is not repairable or not covered.
I called in to try to get some basic information in computer parts and ask about inventory. Although I went through the auto-response phone system correctly to try to reach a CS Rep, they left me on hold for 10 minutes and I was unable to get a hold of anyone. I then drove to the destination and saw that it wasn’t even close to being busy. This is a great company but this location needs improvement. Please do better.
You go in and cant get any help. I remember when best buy used to help the customers but I guess not any more. Then walking out they treat you like you stole something. Maybe they need to reverse it. Give you the assistance you need on product instead of thinking everyone is stealing from them.
My shopping experience at this location is as always worth the walk. Friendly service felt like I worked with some of the staff. They helped me with suggestions and information in certain products so much so that my purchases were satisfactory.
Carson the service representative in computers and electronics was amazing he recommended a very nice laptop to me and a good gaming system for my son. Carson was very pleasant and his knowledge of electronic devices are above and beyond!!! Its customer service like that of Carson that will have me coming back to that particular best buy!!!! I just purchased the Samsung S 21 Ulta in cash. I have no complaints. The phone is fast, doesnt heat up with usage and doesnt freeze like the other samsung models. I just didnt want to do payment plans with the phone. It feels like your paying more for the phone with the payment plan. So instead I have Verizon prepaid for $65.00 a month. Every couple of months Verizon reduces the plan by $5.00 which is good. Its the same service for less money. If you want my opinion pay for the phone upfront and get prepaid services with Verizon. Verizon even offers 5g plans for $75.00, add auto pay and save $5.00 a month. You will save in the long run. This is a great bestbuy. I would recommend.
Although I departed without making a purchase, I do offer sincere applause in overall organization of store, as well as the number of associates on the floor who offered assistance. Most of the aisles were clear enough for easy movement within the store.Seems like they may have been doing a major shift of some items, but still keeping the shopping experience smooth.
I got a cover for my watch pay full price brought my watch active at best buy and the lady wanted to charge me $8.00 to put the cover on the phone what kind of customer service is that 😡

It Be Your Own People...Went and bought new Bose headphones today on my lunch break and got stopped on my way out by Buffy McBuffington to check my receipt. Ill be as brief as possible but trust I will not be going back to this particular Best Buy. Before everyone cries foul, know that he didnt stop other patrons as they were leaving, but felt the need to stop me. How I know for SURE that he profiled me is because after he checked my receipt, he checked the bag. And after checking the bag, he couldnt even look me in the face because we both knew what had just happened. He didnt say a word. Not a thank you sir have a nice day or Thank you for shopping at Best Buy. Nothing. Not a flipping word. Because he knew he was wrong.These are the things that I want him to know for the future of his experience as a Loss Prevention agent.1) Not everyone needs to browse the store for an hour before they make a purchase. I only needed one item and I made sure it was there before I arrived.2) Premium products are not on the floor. Meaning I had to get an associate to get it from the back. Because of this, the associate offered to ring me up at his personal register, not up front. I mention this because it seems Mr. McBuffington may not be aware that there are other registers in the store other than the ones upfront. The only thing that I can think is that he thought I came in with an old bag and receipt.3) If you are going to stop me or others that you suspect of stealing also be man enough to look me/ them in the eyes when your suspicions are untrue.I will openly admit that I may have made all of this up in my head. But you know what policy would have prevented this? The courteous policy Thank you, have a nice day. I can be COMPLETELY wrong about this encounter. But, he didnt say a word to me after stopping me nor could he look me in the eyes. People avoid eye contact when they are ashamed. Just being courteous could have prevented it all. I used to work at Best Buy I KNOW for a fact that that is policy. Being stopped coming outof any store, especially when you havent done anything wrong, is inconvenient and makes you feel dirty. At the very least thank people when you inconvenience them this way. He should know that. We share a melanated experience. He has to have had a similar experience in his life. And now he is out here perpetuating the mess for a check. Sigh... Anyway, thats my two cents that no one asked for.
I love Best buy but this visit frustrated me. I scheduled a vehicle install for geek squad. The person that took my call failed to deluge information. So when I arrived today for my subwoofer install, I was not able to get it installed because of the lack of communication from the person that took my reservation. The install would take 2.5 hours on my 2021 car and they did not have enough time between my appointment and the next to accommodate my install so I had to reschedule. The manager I asked for named Les was nice and communicated well. So needless to say I walked away without my bump. I have to wait 1.5 weeks ore for my next appointment. Which I have to drop.my car off and take an Uber back to work and an Uber to pick up my car when its done. This one will cost me money for taking off work and money for the Uber due to my hectic work schedule. I love Best buy but this one was just frustrating. Thank you Les

Decent customer service ... Clean... Sadly, they have way less products sense the pandemic especially in their DVD area that is hardly existent this point.
I found what I wanted pretty easily, but the sales guy, Elvis, was extremely annoying. He was trying to get me to buy more than 1 monitor. I did not need more than 1 of the same monitor. Then, he tried to hypnotize my wife with his keys to get her to let me buy 2 monitors. Very disrespectful.

I ordered a router for my company, spent just over $250 and paid express shipping; however, I never received the shipment. Best Buy confirmed they lost my order and agreed to send another router. They even promised a delivery date. Four days beyond the promised date and I do not have a router. According to tracking information, they never delivered the item to USPS. Best Buy is not a company I can depend on. I will seek a refund and choose a different retailer.

Super over price the audio tech told me that the 2 gauge wire 2500 watt hook up kit would cost me over 300... got it for 180 and got my subs installed with zero gauge... this over pricing is why I always have best buy as a last resort and now I probably wont use them for a last resort option

They will do some extremely shady stuff to weasel out of their Geek Squad protection plans. They had their manager call me up and promise one thing to get me in the store, when I showed up they completely altered the promised deal.

Empty shelves, nothing to buy. They didnt have what I came for because of shortages, but when I got to the car I ordered the same model from Amazon and it was waiting for me when I got home from shopping.

They had to wait 35 minutes for a curbside pick up and the. Didn’t answer the phone when I called to find out what was going on. You are better off going to the Best Buy on colonial ave. They have a drive through that is in and out. Horrible customer service.
