Went in and found a fridge. Told it would be delivered 3 weeks on a Saturday. Sure enough 3 weeks later Saturday it was delivered. Alfredo and his helper were professional and it was perfect condition. Hauled the other out and hooked up the new one. Only issue is the water line I purchased was not long enough so had the use the one we had. All in all were gonna be back to get a dishwasher and after that a stove. Good job all around guys

Was sent from one location to this location to purchase an upright freezer. Was told price. When I get there 1 hour later the price was $120 more. Then the manager said I will take $100 off. I said but that is still $20 more then I was told. He said it is only $20, I said it might be only $20 to you but thats a lot to me... buyer be ware

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Appliances were less expensive. Had to wait for the pedestals for our washer/dryer. Only a couple of weeks though. Had to pay a separate delivery fee. Delivery guys were very nice and explained how to use the machines.

I wouldnt let anyone go here. Truly unprofessional. They just relocated. My 95 y.o. friend who I transport in a wheelchair called about a w&d. No mention was made they were moving locations or some items wouldnt be available. We show up and get come back tomorrow at new location. Turns out they have floor models that she is ready to buy... their credit card machine didnt work! Said come back tomorrow at new location settle up and delivery the next day. Show up and the new location is locked with no one anywhere around! Drive back to previous location and a couple of guys are loading items to move to new location... they said someones at new location... no they are not I was just there!!! I called several times and phone goes to mailbox full message. If they would have been honest from the initial call (we are moving, things a little chaotic, etc...) there wouldnt have been a problem, BUT they failed three times and they are out! Never do business with them. Not the same company that they used to be. All signs point to a struggling company with very poor management. Buyer beware!

They had some really nice, quality appliances. They sell the appliances at wholesale prices, not retail. We got a medium size, Whirlpool, Energy Saver washer thats capable of holding a king sized comforter for only $577. The delivery was only $70 and they remove your old appliances for free. We checked the price of the same washer at a Home Depot and they wanted $800 for it. We feel we got a really good deal there and got a quality product.

Worst service ever: Paul Gordon was the salesman. After waiting since May 1st for our appliances (in the meantime he would say one week, then a week and a half, then two weeks for delivery) we decided to get our money back today May 18th. We went to Southeast Steel Appliance Warehouse in Amelia Street and they will deliver our appliances next Tuesday. Talk to John M. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and straight forward about possible delivery issues.Update June 22: We just received all our appliances from Southeast Steel.

I found what I wanted. The price was good. They deleivered them in a reasonable time. I am enjoying them in my kitchen. I would shop there again. Best part is they areAMERICAN MADE. My mother who is 82 years old went to the altamonte store and bought a $1300 refrigerator and an $700 dishwasher a week ago. Her refrigerator doesn’t work, doesn’t stay cold, doesn’t freeze water, won’t dispense water etc. she lost food after discovering it wasn’t keeping her food cold. The store won’t help her. They left her on permanent hold in hopes she would go away. We are going to report them to the news channels and see where it goes from here! Don’t shop here. They will take advantage of you and sell you bad products and steal your money!

When I first entered the store I was not greeted by anyone I was practically looked over..when other people of a different race came in they were greeted and welcomed . I was going to leave but eventually someone decided to come and ask me did I need help .. I purchased a washing machine that cost me almost $900.00 and I really dont appreciate being treated the way that I was looked over because of my RACE!!.. I am a black female and I spend money all the time . You guys need to teach your associates about customer service and to treat everyone the same regardless of what color they are. Just want to leave a review in case anyone plans on buying here. The prices aren’t dramatically different than homedepot or Lowe’s. What’s available isn’t as advertised. I made an order 3 weeks ago, was told 7-10 business days I would be called. So far they still had no idea when my actual order would come in. They have no idea when it would actually come so I just canceled my order. I haven’t received my refund yet. But I am waiting a week for it to credit back. When I asked to cancel my order, more money was taken out of my card at first instead of me being credited. Thankful they voided that order and did do the actually credit refund. But we’ll see if it actually refunds. Honestly I’d rather just work with Best Buy, Home Depot or Lowe’s for all this back and forth and dishonesty. I feel bad for the owner and manager because it wasn’t their fault. It was one of the sales man. Don’t give promises to customers if you’re unsure, also no one ever really answers phones. You have to go in to get a status update.

I have to say that I have severe buyers remorse. I recently purchased a washer and dryer (spent over $2000) from their Altamonte location. 14 days later I am having issues with the dryer. I called the store to get some assistance and the gentleman on the phone acted as if I was interrupting and inconveniencing him. Gave me a phone number to call and ended our call. (definitely not very professional) Now I have to wait 9 days before I will have someone to look at my NEW dryer and hopefully fix it for me so we can use it again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to buy your New and hopefully working appliances. Sometimes saving a few dollars just isnt worth it. - I will update once the technician has hopefully fixed my issue.

This store does not complete my order as promised. I had to contact the corporate office who assisted me with placing the order in another store. The Fruitland Park Florida store made everything right. Very happy with Corprate and Fruitland Park store.

There was no pushy sales person, but Walt was there when I needed help.The whole process was easy. They were out of what I wanted, but said it would be about 10-12 days. Sure enough on the 12th day it was delivered.The delivery and set in place went flawless. The guys were very prompt and even knowledgeable. It wasnt their job to show me how to use it, but they took the time to show me a couple things.I will definitely be shopping there again when the next appliance goes out. I saved over $600.00 vs Home Depot, Lowes, and Best Buy.

Appliance Direct is the easiest company to deal with. Pricing is well below the big box stores for the exact appliance.Delivery and install were completed when it was stated it would be.I will continue to use Appliance Direct for all of my appliance needs! Thanks to Robert, the installer, for pointing out a valve needing replaced.

We came in to buy a dishwasher. The guy working in there pretty much ignored us until I made deliberate eye contact. I told him we would like to buy a dishwasher. He said “what color?” in a not very enthusiastic tone. I said “oh we already have the one picked out”. As we made our way over there we hear “we don’t have that one in stock”. Well, the website says you do. This guy clearly didn’t want to have to do any work as it was close to closing time. Could have been a quick and easy sale, but we’re not going to be doing business with people that don’t appreciate us. That’s a whacky nu-nu.

Call to do Bussiness and get recording saying leave your name and # then it tells you that the mail box is full ! Called for three days never reached anyone ! Took my Bussiness elsewhere !!!!!!

Disgraceful customer service. Promised delivery dates only to have to reschedule multiple times. Never call you or return calls I even tracked down a regional manager who also promised but never returned a call. When I finally requested a refund I had to drive to the store as they would not process it over the phone. When at the store no one cared less and no one was wearing a mask. Avoid this place at all cost. Oh, and their prices are not any better than deals you can get at Lowe’s. The owner should be ashamed of himself. Less commercials and hire better people and train them. Buyer beware.

I purchased a microwave from this location on February 27th . I am still waiting for my delivery. Each time I called the store I was promised the salesperson Nick would call me back. Thank goodness I didn’t hold my breath. Finally I called this morning after not receiving a call back and was hung up on multiple times. The guy was combative and unwilling to resolve the issue or refund my money. I will be filing a complaint with their corporate office and the BBB!

What an experience here. Strap in because this is a long one. I gotta give it 4 stars because my man Nick pretty much saved our weekend. Our refrigerator cut out on Friday and after a technician gave us a quote of $1,000 to repair we thought we might as well get a new fridge.We went out Saturday all day to several different places and just did not get lucky. Came to appliance direct and first dealt with Nick who was very nice but we quickly left because we wanted to see what the other stores had. Coming up empty we came back. Nick had already left for the day and we had to deal with another gentleman whos name I dont know (either Indian or Western Caribbean IDK. I mention this because I need to stress you avoid him and he didnt give his name. Hes a horrible salesman and customer service rep.) Well after talking to him to see what was in stock he just randomly pointed at one and said thats all they had. My grandfather who was with me pointed at one in the box which was cheaper and he goes oh yeah that one too. Needless to say we were annoyed that he told us a more expensive fridge was the only one available. After pressing him to finally find out what he has in stock. He pretty much gave up and went back with only the ones he said and the one we saw were in stock. We got annoyed with his lack of service that we left.We still needed a fridge though. So we went out again Sunday with little luck. Most stores dont carry fridges in stock anymore and delivery could take a month and a half to arrive. So we went back to Appliance Direct hoping Nick who was nice when we first there was working. He was. We asked him what he had in stock and he told us that only a white one of the type we were looking for was in stock now. But then he stopped and said wait he ran to the back and started moving all the fridges in the boxes. He looked at each one and actually found one he had left. Perfect! Well take it. Nick actually did his job and was very nice doing it. He helped us out and helped us get a fridge that we needed that very same day. He helped me load it in my van and we were on our way. Not before when the same rude gentleman from the day before who showed up and asked Nick if he charged us correctly. He thought he gave us a deal or something. But nope and we even paid for the 4 year extended warranty as well.My whole family (grandfather, father, mother, wife and myself) are all convinced that guy thought we didnt have any money to buy a fridge and brushed us off.We dont blame appliance direct for that. Hes just a garbage sales person. Which is why I cant give it 5 stars.Nick on the other hand is friendly, nice, and courteous. He went out of his way to help us when we really needed it.If you go to the Appliance Direct in Altamonte Springs. Ask for Nick. He will not steer you wrong.Thanks, Nick!

I knew exactly what I wanted. No one hassled me. They answered my questions. Had what I wanted in stock. Ordered on Friday, delivered Monday. It was great!

Tldr: bad service, late delivery, no communication, nothing to make it rightStory time. They have items out on the floor that are not in stock. Thats fine, most businesses run out of stock occasionally. We asked when they could get more. The first answer is 2 months. We ask about buying the floor models, since itll be months until they get more, the associate says no, but he will see what he can do. In the meantime, they also have the next model up in stock, and he also says he will ask about a discount on those. After a couple minutes, no selling the floor model on the sold out one, and no discount on the next step up, but another store has the ones we want, and he can get them to us in 2 weeks.We pay, and 2 weeks go by, no call, no updates. On delivery day I call the store and theyre like... Oh, let me look... They never showed up. Give us 2 more days. Would they have told me that if I hadnt called? Doubt it.2 more days go by, I have to call again at the end of the day because they dont call me. One item showed up, the other didnt. But itll be here tomorrow and we can deliver tomorrow. Free delivery to make up for a very late delivery, and no communication? Nope!Delivery day, and they only drop off half our order. The driver doesnt know about the rest. So he has to go back to the store. I hook up what we got, then I get a phone call. What he brought us was wrong, he is bringing the matching set right now. But I already hooked up what he left earlier... Which I guess belongs to someone else? Whatever, their problem, not mine. He leaves our full order and takes away someone elses now opened order.So I guess the moral of the story is youll get what you pay for, eventually, and even then it might not be right. And the store wont do anything to fix it or make it better.

This is not the first time i have used this company And have never had an issue. In mid July I ordered a full kitchen appliance package plus a washer and dryer. I’m still waiting and it’s been 2 months. Everytime I check statutes, i get the same response..waiting on ranges. Not a problem. Recently I called and said the hell with it, deliver everything that was in stock and I will pick up the range when it comes in. Thinking hat that would be great, I get “we don’t have any of your appliance”. I’m sorry WHAT?? I’m told we are missing the range and two other items..2 items that were in the day before, the week and weeks prior. I just didn’t want to pay for two delivery fees and that’s why I waited. I have been calling and texting the store everyday, multiple times a day and they will not pick up phone (caller Id) nor will they respond to my messages. I called the corporate store and they called the Altomonte store and sent them an email to contact me and I’m still waiting. I don’t look good in orange or i would drive down there and make a scene. Honesty is the only thing I want and you can’t even give that to me. Lesson here..spend a little more and go to a real store like Home Depot, Lowe’s etc. disgusted with their customer service!

Do your research before you go to store! This is no showroom and the sales people are literally clueless, but they do have the best prices. Dont expect to get your item on time. Be ready for a run-around and to have to escalate to the manager/owner.

Just moved into our new home. So we had to buy a refrigerator. When the guys delivered and installed the refrigerator they discovered the water/ice dispenser does not work. So the guys called Robert the store manager I asked what can we do about this situation. He said you can have the guys take the refrigerator back (which wasnt an option because we need a refrigerator for our toddler and baby to keep their food/milk cold) and pick out another, which this was the only one in this price range for a refrigerator we wanted so he said we would have to pay the difference of it cost more.... Robert also said he will speak to the company that does the repair work for appliance direct, my wife and I still have yet to hear from Robert or this company on a timeline in which our refrigerator will be fixed. My wife and I are very upset on the lack of communication.

The store employees were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, just wish they would have a requirement for their outsourced delivery “company” to wear face covers, at the least when asked to. They (delivery “company”) didn’t even carry face coverings to appease the clients that don’t want strangers in their homes potentially carrying covid-19.

Same day delivery does not exist. No next day delivery either. We were told appliances are warehoused in Titusville so would take 7-10 days to deliver. We received them in 8. This store is not an appealing place to shop—it’s filthy but they do offer the best prices.

While the purchase was easy, it arrived with a broken plug, said they inspected it prior to its leaving the shop and dispite the delivery person signing the receipt of this the store refused to replace it. So we have a brand new fridge that is hot wired!!!

Appliance Direct was a superb shopping experience. Appliance shopping can be grueling and for most of us a dreaded task! However at Appliance Direct- our experience was absolutely amazing! Never once feeling pressure to purchase, the sales rep was amazing and super knowledgeable. The purchase was completed for both a washer and dryer within 5 minutes of choosing which pair fit our needs! And they were in stock and we were allowed to pick them up ourselves on the same day purchased. The sales rep assists in loading the appliances if needed! Delivery was also an option and could be completed within a day to a few days depending on which model appliance purchased.Prior to purchasing a maytag washer and dryer at Appliance Direct, we looked at Home Depot and Lowes. Not only did Appliance Direct significantly beat the prices at both Home Depot and Lowes for the models we purchased but they also had better prices on the manufacturers appliance warranty. Additionally we were not allowed to pick up the appliances ourselves at Home Depot or Lowes, we would have had to choose delivery at an extra cost. Delivery would have also been 2-3 weeks from the purchase date. How inconvenient because most are shopping for appliances because the current ones in our home have broken or are malfunctioning!!!For all these reasons Appliance Direct was a phenomenal experience- easy, streamlined, convenient, availability, cost effective, and savings. Appliance Direct more than beat their competitors, there is no comparison because their competitors cannot even come close to what they have to offer!! (And this includes having a credit card with one of the competitors even if using coupon and special financing)!!! So thrilled we decided to stop in and check out Appliance Direct after shopping around at Home Depot and Lowes!!

I baught a washer from the altamonte springs appliance direct. It was new in box. I took home that day and it made a loud rocking noise on the first load . I called the store back to swap for a working machine. They told me to contact whirlpool, they would not swap it out. I also called 3 other stores and asked if I buy it new and it dosent work will they take it back and they said yes. Do not buy anything from appliance direct. They are a scam ! They take no responsibility if new in box items do not work.Do not buy from appliance direct !!

I tried to make a purchase over the phone with this company and received a text message saying We dont take phone orders. Well then... ok! Not any customer service or politeness so... no order for you! I just made a $4200 purchase @ Homedepot on my appliances because of the lack of customer service at Appliance Direct. I wont ever be a customer Appliance Direct as they seem to be doing just fine without my money. (I purchased my items for a relative who lives in Central Florida as I am out of state).

My husband and I are new homeowners and made 3 major purchases at your Port Orange location. At first everything was perfect until we began experiencing water leak issues from our refrigerator. The store manager, Craig is very inconsiderate and lacks compassion with the problem. As of today, we have yet to have it resolved and have made multiple requests to have it serviced due to warranty. Craig has brushed us off each time and the refrigerator still leaks after two weeks of having it in our brand new home.

I read the reviews prior to going to store and the experience I had was so different from most that I read. Everyone was so nice. They had a good selection, I went to the Altamonte Springs location, it is not a huge store but I knew that going in and had a few options. I purchased a refrigerator and basically got a $400 discount because it had a small dent on side that you cannot even see. The sales person was not pushy, he was helpful but let me just look. Even the person that delivered the refrigerator was extremely nice.

Great appliances at great prices

Stay far away! I went in to buy a stove I saw on their website. It was listed on sale. When I got there, it was $200 more than on their web page. I had a screen shot and showed the salesperson. They said they wouldnt honor the price. The 2 salespersons there were not wearing face masks. One of them put on a face shield when he approached me but the other person walked out from behind the counter and was talking to other customers without wearing anything. He was very rude as well.

If the delivery fee was not so high ($80) i would have given a 5 star

Just very disappointed.. ordered 10 days ago - they said they will call and update for delivery to be made last week.. and till today no updates, calls half the time not going through and if it does they hang up.. very very disappointing!!! need to cancel my purchaseUpdate: they fixed the situation and handled the situation beautifully

Scam artist! Take your money and run to another location. I have never had a problem with the Winter Garden location but the Altamonte springs location is run by crooks. They sold me used appliances and passed them off as new! Sold me a fraudulent extended warranty. Do your self a favor and buy your appliances elsewhere.

Nick was super knowledgeable and helpful. The service was great. Did price comparisons for us and helped us make our decisions on a full kitchen set. We went with Whirlpool.

They have some good prices if your looking for a deal on appliance. However, the store manager was having an argument with a customer and it became very uncomfortable. So I ended up leaving.
