I have had bad luck with shops in the past so I jump around shops trying to find a good one. Came across Polmax called and took my truck for a dot inspection, they found a few things bad, not only for dot compliance, but other issues that other shops would have not mention, I gave the ok to get anything wrong fixed, had alignment, changed oil pan, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, a coolant fitting, some hoses that were leaking air, and diagnosed a CL. I was expecting a huge invoice but to my surprise it was less than I thought. Rudy and his team not only did a fantastic job, but charged a reasonable price. I feel I have found the shop where I’ll be bringing my trucks to for any repairs. Thanks again.Update on this shop…. Called ahead of time two weeks to reserve my spot and spoke to monika since Rudy is no longer there, she said that was no problem so I dropped my truck off 9/30/21 and advised them I’ll go on vacation 10/1-10/9 plenty of time to get it done and she agreed. Wednesday I am being called and texted about the truck I’m mad cuz she telling me they were busy and couldn’t get to my truck till that Wednesday, then says maybe by Saturday it’ll be done. Back from vacation 10/10 now they don’t have the parts and I’m welcomed to take my truck elsewhere since I was mad at them for assuring my truck to be ready and now looks like it’s another week of my truck siting there.. hoped they told me from the start they were not gonna take my truck in ASAP and would have taken it elsewhere. Thanks to this I’ll be looking for another shop since I felt my business is not wanted here.

This use to be a great shop but now under the new management it’s horrible and all good mechanic that they had left because they don’t want to deal with new manager Bogdan, respect for customers doesn’t exist anymore over there.

Have an exhaust leak they couldnt even find it Im still smelling it having to ride with window down!

I brought my tractor in for 3 axle alignment. Two days later truck was ready. I did not even get to Cicero ave and noticed nothing was done. I turned around and came right back. Two days later truck was ready. I did not even get to Cicero and noticed truck is still pulling like it did to the right.Do yourself a favor and go to Southwest Spring and Alignment for any suspension/alignment work. Very fair prices they get the job done in a timely fashion and overall a good experience.

Told one price over the phone for a set of tires, upon arrival theyll give you $50 extra on the tire. The Polish way of doing business.

I will let my company know that I will not be returning to this shop. The guys in the shop are okay. But the guy that sit at the desk I guess his name is Jack. Every time I comes in there he has a attitude with me. I am the nicest guy in the world and that guy seems like he does not like me

Service all around was horrible. The mechanics were not able to perform their work properly and upon contacting them to resolve the issue I received horrible customer service, they were rude and careless. Will never, ever take any business to them again or refer them to anyone.

Watch out guys they over charging on labor especially the guy upfront shop desk

Do NOT take you bussines to Polmax they do NOT treat their customers well had issue with airleak with them fixing same thing 4 times no more for me!
