Amazing amazing amazing. We can’t be happier with how our backyard turned out with the tiftuf grass we got from super sod. Jill Johnson went above and beyond to help us out with the order. We laid down around 5000 sf of grass with the help of some friends but Jill was able to split up the order so we did not have to put down everything in one day. Tiftuf is the way to go because we have lots of trees but it’s actually still growing even in areas where it does not get any sun. I cannot believe it. We put down the grass on Sep 4th (pictures 4-6) below were taken on Sept 22nd. Just 3 weeks after we put the sod down. I also have (pictures 1-3) which were taken Nov 2nd. Looking super sod nice!!!

Its Friday and Im trying to get my weekend chores laid out. #1 is check with Super-Sod - Alpharetta. The big yellow bag of garden soil is a must buy. It’s the best out there and I love that there are no weed seeds in them. I plan to order from them every year. Very happy with the last 2 bags. They deliver and will place the bag where you need as long as it is accessible. The team is very helpful and know their stuff l. I also love the emails with reminders about lawn care very useful.

Super Service! Ive never installed any sod before and this location walked me through the entire process. What type of sod I needed and how to install and maintain. I got there right when they opened and they had my truck loaded in less then 10 minutes. Then, after, I received an email with instructions about maintaining my new grass to make sure that the root system lasts. Absolutely Excellent! Oh, and BTW, the location is really nice and very well maintained.

It started with a request to chat to which an Andrew Goggans responded for Super Sod. Andrew was a wealth of information for all of the rookie questions I was asking about sod and the process. I asked for a quote which I received via email within about an hour. The order process is amazing. Sign the proposal, send it back, receive an invoice that I was able to pay on line and then a follow up email letting me know where to pick up and some videos for care while installing the sod and beyond. I can honestly say while I have enjoyed a lot of great customer experience in a lot of different areas, none were better than with Andrew.

We live in Roswell and had a great experience with Super Sod of Alpharetta from our initial conversation with the front line office to the delivery driver who was timely, personable and delivered quality service. Im not sure what their core values are, but quality and providing an excellent customer experience are definitely two of them! I will continue to use and recommend them with confidence to everyone I know.

Excellent customer service and couldn’t be happier with the tall fescue sod we purchased. Very high quality sod and looks amazing!

In selecting a lawn I recommend you know your situation before you spend your hard eaned money. I had a fescue lawn in the back with tall trees along the fence line, limiting the area to 4-6 hours of mid-day sun. Fescue greens up nicely but does not wear well. On the weekend I like to bring the two dogs out with me as I work in the backyard. Fescue does not stand up well to the traffic and reseeding throughout the year was necessary. I invited SuperSod out to access options and they recommended TifTuf. The process requires you to cut the lawn as low as possible, spray and kill the roots and then rototill, level and rack. Hard work… I had 7 pallets delivered from Alpharetta and Lawenceville (availability issues). Installation is backbreaking but once completed it started to green up in 3-4 days. August was hot and September was wet so likely not the best conditions. The sod rooted poorly and the SuperSod installer and Alpharetta manager were both out several times. In each visit they recommended additional products (aerating, fungicides, lime, fertilizer and Soil3 topdressing, not inexpensive). It’s now 10 months later and it look thin and weak with some areas nearly bald. I planted small cuttings in the front yard to see how it compared to the old bermuda. In full sun it grows in well. Botton line, a lot of hard work and thousands of dollars later and I think I’m back to fescue. When I purchased the sod SuperSod stated if you are not happy they will make it good. They won’t. Be willing to compromise as you can’t change mother nature.

Great quality product for a great price, very helpful in loading into truck, and after another supplier suddenly canceled due to us wanting to pick up sod the day before July 4, they were open and working and able to fill an order on extremely short notice.

I got 12 pallets of sod installed by a contractor (ordered by contractor) Sod is good and is growing nicely. But sod is not cut evenly. It’s all bumpy. Even when they installed it I noticed uneven sod thickness with some rocks, but I thought it will all settle down. I am now done with my second mowing after 4 weeks and it is still bumpy. It rained most of the week until the day I got sod and I am not sure, if that makes a difference...

I can not recommend this location and product (TifTuf Bemuda) enough. I wish I would have known about them sooner. I stopped in on a whim to price out a pallet of sod to complete a backyard project that I was originally planning on mulching. In May 2018, I had 9 pallets of Bermuda sod installed (by another company-sod vendor unknown) and was told that TifTuf Bermuda is just the same-Bermuda is Bermuda.My yard is proof that not all Bermuda grass is the same. Not only did I not have any weeds come up on the pallet I installed from SuperSod, but the coloring is amazing! While the sod that was laid in May started going dormant in October, SuperSod held on strong at least another month. Thank you!
