This place was recommended by our landscapers for certain hard to find plants. But after some terrible communication back and forth with a employee. We still havent heard about getting our plants and one tree. Because we were never told when or if we could come pick it up.. bad communication! Very disappointed...

I spent several thousand dollars at Stovall, and one small tree worth $125 died and the other just like it is fine. NO WARRANTY. So whatever, I think thats crazy but the biggest reason I wont EVER do business there again is their terrible attitude. Seems you are a bother and everyone is so short and rude on the phone and in person.

Customer service sucked and the guy in the front really didn’t do anything to help me. Don’t think I’ll come back. They couldn’t answer simple questions. Really bad attitude.

Great staff - I worked with Tripp at this location and he helped me to find turf block stone pavers that I needed for my project. The order was also much lower than quotes from other companies in area. Product was delivered on time and there was minimal breakage in the blocks. Thank you!

Dont take returns/refunds/warranty - like Home Depot? Bought 2 trees on April 1st. One is dead the other dying. We obviously had plenty of water this Spring and Early summer, and when it wasnt raining they were watered. Also given root fertilization. Given earlier comments about no warranty/returns - $400 is down the toilet? Why would anyone shop here if that is the case?

We had a very bad experience at Stovall Alpharetta, McFarland pkwy, location in Georgia. The sales person named Sean Runyan starting shouting and became aggressive at us and had no patience to answer our queries. Can not believe the company is celebrating 75 years anniversary when they lack the basic human values of respect and patience towards customers. It seems this is the general atmosphere at the office there and all employees support such behavior. In response to owner comments:We as customers do not know your company policy. we were very politely asking questions from the employee and no way being forceful as stated. It seems the corporate environment also supports disrespectful and impatient behavior towards customers. If yelling at customers is OK with you, then best of luck!

Bought a number of lorapadlum there not long ago--two varietals. All six of one varietal lived, all six of the other died--all planted together in same place. Something was clearly wrong with the dead varietal, but the company was quick to tell me they guarantee nothing. Found the exact same plants a full third of the price less at a basic Home Depot. Thought Stovalls higher prices might come with a guarantee--HDs does. I wont go back--why would I?

Visit the store Sat that was suppose to be open and was met by Tripp Stovall yelling at people to get out, that they were closed. First Visit and last visit. Very unprofessional. If this the way he acts towards customers before they buy something. Just imagine if they did any work at your house and this guy started yelling. Glad we didnt buy anything from this person.Buyer Beware!

Stovall Landscaping Supply off McFarland Pkwy starts off nice and helpful, but then if you have a question later on, you are no longer welcome, and the welcome mat is rolled up. We used a company recommended by Stovall, which I cannot hold them responsible for his poor performance; it just compounds the collective disappointment from both parties. The main focal part of our landscaping project was a $500 Japanese Thunderhead Pine plus $200 to install, which I am sure JVS landscaping received some sort of professional discount off the tree. The pine installed in April started off great, but then started showing signs of distress in late June. We reached out to both Stovall and JVS to get recommendations to help the pine. Not once did we say replace or refund, just help us save the pine. All of this was complete with photos to help make recommendations. JVS NEVER even returned our calls. After that lack of concern from JVS, we went to Stovall’s’ personally with photos on our cell phone hoping to garner some information, only to be ignored and rebuffed. Also, the woman whom we were speaking to was way too interested in her personal life on her cell phone to barely even acknowledge our concerns. We left in disgust. The tree is completely dead now, see photo. The only place we received ANY help on trying to salvage the pine was from Pike’s Nursery, who by the way if we would have purchased the pine from them, they WOULD HAVE REPLACED FOR FREE!Not to anyone’s fault, the pine died of natural causes. From all the information gathered from Pike’s and the internet, the pine basically drowned. Who could have predicted this would be a VERY wet spring and summer. The Japanese Thunderhead is very sensitive to over watering, hence it got root rotTO anyone considering using either of these companies for you landscaping project - DO NOT!
