Spacious store with variety of products available. Currently sale is going on for majority of items. Store was not that crowded. They have good collection of Mattress, Mens, Womens and childrens clothing, Kitchen utensils and Kitchen ware. They also have varieties of Curtains. They also have fashion accessories, perfume too. Store is very clean. Customer service was good

Purchased some 14k gold, meshed bracelets as a gift but within two weeks they had stretched out beyond serviceability. Not a very well thoughtout product design.Returned without issue and the sales person was very helpful in selecting another bracelet that was more suitable for everyday wear.
Honest to god, I have not been in JCPenneys in probably six or seven years... But they had the most amazing sales along with a 30% off coupon for all kinds of clothing. I got 10 times more and saved so much. Honestly, the clothing here is way better quality than Walmart and/or Target, but I spent way less money than I would have if I had gone to Walmart/Target!!! I will definitely be going here a lot more.
Try JCPenney again. This is one of the traditional brick and mortar stores left in the country. They even beat out Macy*s in my opinion, for true value with quality, especially in clothing from children to adults! You will get well-made, beautiful clothing and bedding at a reasonable price, that you can use year in, year out.

Want to start off by saying Teena was absolutely amazing! She helped us with getting a suit for my fiancé for a funeral and she went out of her way to assist us. She along with Michelle definitely made this experience a pleasant one given the circumstances of the store visit. We will most definitely come back here just to see her. Absolutely terrible service at the front check out. Bought a 200$ suit from here for prom and my grandpas funeral and could not take pictures or wear it without looking like a criminal since the lady decided to leave the ink sensor on it. Absolutely pathetic. One of the main things and only things to do other than checking your customer out is to make sure any sensors are off of it. Was not the alarm sensor but the ink one so I cannot take it off and have to take pictures looking like a criminal. Will never be coming back here.
Got a great purse but had to walk all over to find a person to check me out!
Cashier told me it was people like me is why some stores are closing.. besides that the store was good.. well stocked!!

I will never go back!i went to do the headshot, the person only took 8 photos for 150$, I said I didnt like it, she told me I would only take one more photo, while in florida the same jcpenny takes at least 25 photos. its too expensive for little work! totally dissatisfied.I will have to pay another photographer to do the job again.

I hate shopping so I used the order online and pickup in the store service. The store was nearly deserted of employees and customers. Nobody at the pickup counter for ten minutes. Once someone arrived it went well! Im old enough to remember visiting the mens section and a salesman would greet you and advise you on what you might like. Mens section was deserted. Managed to find a few shirts but guys mostly hate shopping and need help finding something. The challenge for this jeans and t-shirt guy was to find business casual clothes for an upcoming seminar. I think I succeeded, but having someone, anyone, there to get some advice from would have been a big help. Ill probably use the on-line pickup service again, but most likely wont wander around the store looking for non-existent employees! Im afraid J.C. is heading for the same fate as Sears! Sad!

Pick up service at Northpoint Mall location in Alpharetta is ghastly. Took 3 tries to get all of my items from the pick up/curbside service. RUDE person answered the phone to tell me the store was about to close. I let her know that store still had not brought out all of my items, but checked them as picked up in the system. Had to get a young woman named Michelle to resolve the issue. She was THE ONLY one who tried to assist.

Doing well during COVID
Very courteous, professional and friendly staff. We went looking for boots. After trying several on, we found some colors and sizes online which were a better fit. When we expressed this to the staff, they took us to a counter and placed the order for us (as our mobile app was acting up). Have been shopping for years and have always found similarly good experiences always. I like this store better than Macys (where we shop too) for their customer service 👋👍
I hope Pennys never goes away. It is enjoyable to walk around and explore. The staff is always great. The checkout clerk gave me an extra 20% off because she said I made her laugh! Always try and be courteous....you never know when it may pay off!!

Great experience from start to finish. When I entered the store, the initial Customer Service Desk cashier was super helpful. She told me exactly how to get to the Order Pick-Up desk. When i got to the Pick-Up Desk, the lady was very friendly, upbeat and quick to obtain and retrieve my order. It was a very quick in/out experience which one would hope for when picking up an online-to-store order. Great customer service and accurate order!

Had a terrible experience shopping here. Came in to make a return on jewelry at 7 pm and the store stays open until 12. The employee there told me that they wouldnt not let me return the item because I came too late and the computers need an hour to process an online pickup then return because the system is old. Waiting there was fine by me but even then, they had ample time to process the return and they refused because the employee didnt want to do work anymore that day. Told me to come back tomorrow and return. Theres a reason the JCPenney brand is already dead. Also dont bother calling. The jewelry department does not answer phone calls. I call their line multiple times each day and no one picks up. While at the store, I decided to test it out and make a phonecall while watching the employee. The store was empty and she wasnt helping anyone but she still didnt pick up the phone and just let it ring. Given that I couldnt get a call through once, it cant just be an isolated case by one bad employee. They dont care about your business and they have no interest in helping customers.
They got my stuff back in the warehouse to order on JCP.com and pickup for free at JCP store.

Searching for places to take family photos I came across Jcpenny. As I began to review sample photos On the website I noticed there are no sample photos of an African American family. If your not able to find a African American family I would be more than happy to offer my services.
Nicer selection of clothing then they used to have for teens/young adults. They only have a couple registers open on each floor which causes issues during their busy time. Also have started closing down a lot of the fitting rooms so you have to walk to the other side of the store to try on the clothes that you were looking at in one department unlock back to that partment to try out a different size, style etc.
Its unfortunate but this store always has the appearance of disorganization. Jcp has yet to re-determine who their customer is and the store reflects the varied attempts which does not produce a consistent flow.That all being said, it always seems everything is on sale so u can find good pricing on mediocre quality merchandise
Went to the photo studio to have pictures of my son. Hes almost a year and a half and had a great time. The girl that took our photos was very sweet and he had a blast interacting with her. And the photos turned out great!
Don’t waste your time entering this store. It is very disorganized. Went shopping for dress clothing for our son. Tried on and found something. Went to check out and the price was more than 3 times the price they had marked on the tag and wouldn’t honor there own price tag. They have lost our families business.
Terrible sales help
Was really disappointed in this store. Went for a sale and every single pair of shoes they had that I liked, 4 pairs, were not available. Also needed some khakis and they had very limited options, none of which I liked. Ive had good experiences at other JCPENNEY locations so this one must just have some issues. Wont be going back. Theyre in a mall, so plenty of other stores around to get what I need.
I love JC Penney, theres always good stuff to buy and for a great price, plus this location in Roswell staff is very friendly. Totally love it.
JCP One of the most underrated places to buy clothing. Somehow every time I visit I find something of my liking, at a reasonable price. My guess is that when it comes to clothes I am simple to please.
The selection at this JCPenney has gone down hill. I had a hard time finding anything I liked. The size selection was non-existent. Two of the three employees I encountered were not helpful or pleasant. I used to love shopping here.

The most unorganized return I’ve ever experienced. Slow and frustrating and unprofessional. I tried exchanging a pair of boots with the receipt that turned into a 30 minute ordeal, because the staff is untrained and the store is understaffed. I have NEVER experienced something so ridiculous. It will be a miracle if JCPenney is still in business in 5 years.

I find good clothes at a decent price here. But only two people checking people out on a Saturday is completely unacceptable!!!! There are at least 12 people waiting at each register!!! Penny’s if you want to stay in business you need to solve this problem and quick! I will be writing a letter to headquarters because I see this at other locations too!!

To whom it may concern: I am very disappointed with the Penneys store in Alpharetta, GA, North Point Mall location. My daughter and I drove from Danville, Virginia and my mother flew from Dallas, Texas to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt and uncle in Alpharetta, GA. My aunt spoke very highly of her local Penneys store until today. The North Point Mall location decided that they would only open one door for those seeking Black Friday Coupons and keep all other doors closed until coupons ran out. My family and I were not interested in the coupons and the line was far too long for my elderly, mobility challenged mother and aunt. The line was wrapped around the building and into a neighboring parking lot. We were finally able to get the attention of a store employee at 2:20pm (20 minutes after the store officially opened). The employee told us that they werent going to open the other door for any reason until all coupons were gone. We explained that we had 2 mobility challenged seniors that could not remain standing and needed wheelchairs, but the employee shut the door saying we would just have to wait. Her treatment and the policy of the North Point Mall store has changed our families opinion of Penneys. You have lost 3 generations of business.
I understand Black Friday is stressful, however that is no reason to be extremely rude to customers. Myself and my handicap grandmother stood outside and waited patiently to shop. 2pm came and doors didnt open and your associate opened the door and basically yelled at us and refused to let us in to shop even though we expressed we werent interested in the coupon just because yall chose to open 1 door for the thousands of people waiting. I did not appreciate the rudeness and decided to take my business elsewhere. Whatever the reason for the change in policy, I would seriously consider retraining your associates to treat people with respect. Happy Thanksgiving.

I went to purchase some clothing and went to the nearest checkout. A sales associate came over and told me the check out was closed (She was pretty terse about it). When I went over to the open checkout line, the sales person had a large return to process, and nobody came to help. I decided to put my things back and keep looking.

Spent a whole day calling for an appointment, even left messages and never got called back. No one was there when I arrived for the appointment I had to schedule myself online. Lied to manager over phone wanting me to be her witness. Was conducting headshot for business cards yet photographer kept taking unnecessary photos in poses not requested. Very unprofessional. Will not be returning to this location for my business needs.

Went to jcpenney as a last resort looking for shoes. I was not familiar with the store layout so I looked for a dept. directory at the entrance (none), then at the escalator (again, none). I looked for an associate to help me but could not find one. I finally found the shoe dept. after wandering around and started looking for a pair I liked; however, each pair I liked did not have my size (10.5). There were three employees standing around the checkout area, but none seemed to notice me or offer any assistance. I realized that maybe jcpenney did not want my business as shown by their lack of caring for me, the customer. Next time I need something, Ill purchase it from someone other than jcpenney.
Always find GREAT sales prices here. True there is no customer service and only one register, but at those prices I am willing to wait in line.

The employees told us to go inside to apply for their store card but then multiple employees stopped us every few feet screaming at us not to go inside. Each one we had to tell them we were instructed to go inside. Their Thanksgiving sale isnt worth being treated like trash.

When I walked in I immediately noticed how disorganized the store was. Because I was there to use a Home items coupon I thought I could be in and out quick. As soon as I picked my items I couldnt tell how much anything costs as everything had different discounts. I made sure to pick things not on the exclusion clause of the coupon either. But once I got to register, no luck, I was under amount. Picked some more, now some items were excluded, then after, the coupon said already used, by this time a line was forming and I could hear mumblings... clerk was not interested in helping at All..... so decided to leave everything including the coupon and never return.... The End.+ Store is out dated, elevator smells badly, service is horrible, not enough people on registers...dont come here if you value your time.

I only come here to by jewelry for my wife.The lady there, Hurmie (?) is a joy to work with....even though I know shes up-selling me, i still feel like Im getting a good deal and that my wife is going to love it.Once i find someone i like and trust, i keep going back. Its hard to find that in department stores these days. But Ill keep going back to Pennys at Northpointe as long as I can find my jewelry lady.Baught smart watch for wifes birthday.The other stuff is for Christmas....so Im keeping that a secret.
