While I cannot disagree with a lot of positives in the reviews, the fact that this owner continues to run out of the most basic and popular of items is ridiculous. Im talking about 0 of Bacardi 1.75s because of a price dispute with the distributor. There have been others over the months as well. Titos for instance. Clos du bois cab. These are the staples folks. Good location. Good prices but wonky stocking and inventory practices makes me scratch my head.

The store never disappoints, their prices are great and if youre looking for something more high-end they have it, if youre looking for something on a budget as a gift they have it. Best liquor store in the area for beer if your looking for rare stuff. They dont list online so you can find stuff that usually sells out. Just be careful sometimes the ipas etc here can be out of date.

Best liquors store I have ever been to. The selection is insanely large. They have almost anything you could want. Prices are the best on everything. We will definitely be stocking up here next time

Royal Liquor Store is neighborhood store which is conveniently located in the Alpharetta Commons retail complex. Although it is modestly sized, it carries a fairly robust product selection. The staff is knowledgeable and treats you as a valued repeat customer.

They always have what you are looking for. The selection is so broad, it can get a little over whelming. There is always staff on hand to point you in the right direction or make a suggestion. So far, they have never steered me wrong on wine or liquor selections. Beer selection is good. A lot of IPAs, which I dislike, but they pointed me to some that were fairly good. Overall the best place to buy your adult beverages when you dont know what you want.

Great selection on Scotch. I wanted to buy good scotch for my husband and I ended up buying Glenfiddich.Johnnie Walker Blue price is great. It’s the cheapest price in the area. I will definitely be going back to buy Johnnie Walker Blue.

I used to shop at Royal Liquor, but ever since Sam’s Liquor opened up down the street, I started shopping there. The last couple of times I went there to buy Johnny Walker Gold Reserve, they didnt have it. He tried to sell me different Scotches which me and my roommate don’t even drink.After a couple more of visits I started realizing that he is not serious about his business or his product. I live down the street from Sam’s Liquor but I don’t think I will be going back there anymore.

Royal is my go-to place for alcohol. Their diverse variety makes each visit different although I always go for my standard red wine stock. The staff is friendly and helpful.

My go-to store in the North Atlanta area. Great selection of bourbon, and Roman has a palate to select great bourbon store picks (e.g., Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses,etc.). If you are looking for anything special they can look into ordering if need be. Highly recommend stopping by and taking a look.

Earlier this month I purchased 200 miniature bottles of vodka for an event. I realize I was shorted 20 botttles as I was bagging the shot glasses and vodka bottles in the gift bags. I went to the store to inform the store owner with my receipt in my had and 20 shot glasses in my truck. He had the audacity to accuse me of trying to got over on him and someone stole it from my home. The owner went to the back to bring out a box to show me there was 160 bottles in one case but he never came back with the case because he knew there was only 100 in each case. This was very insulting to me as a customer. I will never use this establishment again, my friends,family members and clients will be informed about the rudeness I experienced. I will definitely tell them to patronize any other store but this place.

Looked all over for a bottle of Weller 12 year bourbon. (Yes, it’s very hard to find.) So I was super jazzed to hear they had one. I drove to Alpharetta only to find out they aren’t charging the retail (MSRP) $30. Nor are they doubling what they charge their customers at $60. They are gouging at $129.99! That isn’t capitalism. That’s straight up greed. Can’t wait to hear the spin they put into their reply.FAST FORWARD (8 Weeks) - Someone from the shop replied to my review and explained that they accidentally charged me an extra $100. According to this manager/owner... the bottle should have been $29.99 not $129.99. A week later I called to see about remedying their error and then altering my one-star review. Employee who answered the phone initially couldnt hear me. He then asked me to get off the speakerphone (which I was not on). I could hear the World Cup blasting in the background of Royal Liquor... lol! Then, after explaining things, a manager got on the phone only to hear him express that they always charge $129.99 and that I didnt need to buy the bottle in the first place. Fair enough. But despite his feeling that it isnt, thats gouging the consumer. So he can charge what he likes... and I am free to comment on social media that this store is shady and dishonest and overcharges people. QUESTION: What sort of business expresses in their Google Review Reply that they made an honest error... only to delete that admission shortly thereafter? ANSWER: A greedy & dishonest one!
