After looking over these reviews, the elderly lady Libby who works the self scan first thing in the morning needs to be fired! I am a previous employee of this location of 4 enjoyable years and management ALWAYS made an excuse for her every time there was a complaint. I believe Giant is scared of some type of backlash by her if she’s fired because she definitely seems like the type. I live within walking distance of this location but would much rather go to Cedar Crest which is RIDICULOUS! If you don’t like to see customers first thing in the morning, change your schedule or quit!

Great store but the self check out machine needs to be updated. The software makes it hard to buy quickly. Taking a noticeable while to process each scan and bagged item weight. You scan items and the thing tells you to take out the last bagged item.You do that and it glitches.That happened again this morning.I scanned a sandwich, poke bowl and candy. Yet when I scanned the candy the thing wigged out. Omitted the poke bowl yet the total was still the same.The lady was nice she helped me but thing said it couldnt complete the transaction so I just left. Since I was only there to get a quick lunch.This is the 2nd time this happened out of many visits.Please fix this.

Simple put… DON’T COME IN WHEN THE STORE OPENS AT 6AM!!! Wait until 6:30am or the self check lady will be very rude to you. There is only one lane open with a cashier and everything else is self-check at this time of morning. The woman who they put in charge of self-check most of the time only gets in at 6am and gets very rude and unprofessional if anyone tries to check out before she is done setting up the lanes. I have tried on multiple occasions to speak with the management, but they only defend her bad behavior. If the store opens at 6am then that means that customers can come in and purchase items at 6am, not 6:15am or 6:30am but 6am. And if all that person needs is some baked goods on the way to work, or a half gallon of whatever, or if they are doing a weekly shopping trip then they should be able to come in do their shopping and check out. If they are checking at 6:05am then they don’t need to be harassed by the self-check lady for doing so. I will also be following up and reporting this to the corporate level as the in-store management has been of no help in resolving the problem.

I dont like the robot.. No matter where I am its near me following me.. High tech profiling... Sushi Wednesday but only some of the sushi was reduced price..

This Giant location is incredible. They need far more recognition for the amount of donations they provide to local agencies. They donated an ENORMOUS amount of baked goods for the Public Defender’s Office Outreach Day in June and I know they donate to food banks regularly.

Always very easy to find all the things in the store that Im looking for..clean store with courteous staff whenever needed.

This has to be one of the worst parking lots in the Lehigh Valley. Shopping carts everywhere, cars parking right up next to the building where there isn’t even a spot, no stop sign for trucks and cars coming from behind the build (very dangerous) and no stop sign by the Wells Fargo cars come from 3 different directions and no one wants to stop (very dangerous).Inside the store: customer service is nonexistent, check-out lines are slow and not convenient; just an overall terrible experience. Best advice is to stay away from this store

So Im going to start off saying I dont know if its this location Im disappointed with or if its the website. I was looking for a specific item that isnt available where I live. When I Googled said product because its made in Pennsylvania it shows its available in this chain. Since we were already in the area for the weekend I wanted to attempt to get it.. I further went to see which store and was directed to this one. When I arrived, they did not carry it.

I was in today to buy four A2 creamy vanilla creamers at Emmaus Ave.Giant and got home and took notice the expiration dates on all 4 of them was 7-29-2021 with a 55 cent coupon on each one. Todays date is the 8-3-2021which makes it 5 days past expiration date, and there was 4 more behind the ones I bought with 55 cent coupons on them also.SOMEONE IS GONNA GET SICK AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS UNACEPPTABLE FOUL PLAY DURING THIS PANDEMIC CRISIS

Its a nice clean place to shop but I feel like the selection is small. Most of the veggies are in bags, which I dont like. They also have mostly lettuce but I didnt see any fresh green beans, beets, rhubarb, etc etc. Most things are canned or in plastic bags. The price was also high compared to other shopping places. In the end, its not a bad place to shop, but I hope they have more of a selection in the future.

8/4/21 I was just at this Giant on Emmaus Ave in Allentown at 6 am (right when they open) and was at the self checkout by 6:05 am. The older lady at the self-checkout was extremely rude! We accidentally ran into each other as I was walking to the register, I apologized as she rolled her eyes at me and walked away angrily, not ever saying a word or apologizing. I went to check out at one out of two open registers at the self-checkout. At the register, there were folded bags on the scanner. I asked the same lady if it was ok if I laid them on top of the register while I checked out quickly. She again rolled her eyes and rudely SNATCHED the bags out of my hands! I was upset at this point. I told her to forget it because it seemed like I was annoying her and in her way and was going to go to one of the associates at a regular register. She told me “just stay” “I was trying to open and can’t”. I told her the store opens at 6 am and it’s not my fault that she’s not “open”. She walks away and later comes back and says “I’m not able to open before 6”. I told her it’s not my problem and shouldn’t be the reason for her behavior and attitude! I wish I would have got a name but I was so upset, I paid and walked out! Makes me consider driving a little further to Redners if that means I will get treated better.

Great service clean store. In and out there need training some of there cashiers beter in helping customers.

Dont ever buy produce from here, goes bad in 1 day no matter what you buy, also check dates on all baby food, drinks, and products almost everything in that aisle is expired.Not sure if this giant is shutting down or not but everything is always completely empty

This store has almost everything you can think of buying at a supermarket, except they have a friendly and helpful staff. (Im not sure how I feel about the creepy giant robot though).

I have always been able to find everything on my list when shopping at the Coopersburg Giant. The staff is helpful and friendly.AND the prices are good! What more can one ask? Please keep up the good work! I really do not want to search for a different store because I believe that none can compare with the friendly service, speedy checkout, and quality of fresh fruits and vegetables available at the Coopersburg Giant!!

Good variety, but their prices are a little higher than other stores. On some items, the price may say (for example) 2 for $5, but if you only buy one it is more than $2.50. You need to read the signs carefully.

Shhhh they think they are the only ones selling beer now. So they make you get all if it cold so you have to drink it right away and cant buy and store warn beer, hahahaha they say.

This Giant is hands-down the worst location in the Lehigh valley. Items are constantly out of stock and the employees are rude and unhelpful when I try to ask a question or ask for help. There are never enough checkout lanes open with an actual human cashier and the self checkouts are difficult to use efficiently lately, resulting in longer wait times as you have to wait for the single employee running all the self checkouts to come over and override the system. This location is in desperate need of new management.

I have shopped at this Giant location for several years now and overall have had a good experience. Yesterday I had a very helpful lady named Betsea at the checkout. When I forgot a bag, she actually brought it out to my car for me. While I couldn’t see her smile under her mask, I knew it was there and she really went the extra mile. I wasn’t having a great day but she made me smile with her cheerful, positive attitude.

Worse experience since Ive been going to Giant. Did whole grocery shopping no lanes open with employees checking out. Only one self check out with belt. Problems scanning after each item.Employees standing around watching, fixing issues with scanner. Took forever to check out.

Awesome place to shop for food and spirits.

Never have any issues shopping here. They always have hot peppers in stock and you cant beat their 5$ fried chicken.

Not our regular giant and found the store a little messy. Check out was not as sanitary was the giant in Macungie. Belt was not wiped down. No place to sit but a nice employee found a chair for my wife to sit on while I checked out.

Great customer service

I was in the Emmaus Ave. Allentown, store at 11:24 am, Sunday, Aug 9. I wanted to buy the chicken tenders on sale, but all the packages still reflected the non-sale price. A man in red giant coat, was refilling meat near by. I politely asked about the price. He loudly, sarcastically, without even looking at me, proclaimed it would change at checkout. He abruptly walked away, went behind the meat counter, and continued to voice his disgust with my question. Perhaps, people have been asking all morning, but it was my first time. This man has no business, being out front in contact with customers. I was embarrassed. Not my first problem of this type at store no. 6074.

I was in this store October 1. 2020. The condition of some of the meat was deplorable. Grey packaged hamburger patties. Beef so rancid, the blood turned brown and was coagulating and bubbling up from under the plastic. I called the store to notify them, that same day. I received a response from manager Kirstin Reiss, on October 2 by email, apologizing and offering me a gift card. She told me to pick it up at CS. I decided to give the store the benefit of the doubt. I went to CS October 5. The clerk had no idea what gift card I was talking about. Thankfully, I saved Kirstins emails!!

Good food store and my god did they have big grapes biggest i have ever seen great prices as well, being a truck driver if i ever go back theyll get my business again

Everything at the giant food store was beautiful and very clean they had the six feet markers so that people knew to keep their distance everyone wore their mask and stage safe customer service was very helpful

Went to the giant grocery shopping today. The store has really changed for the better! So nice to be able to pick up beer and wine there. Nice salad bar and great soups. Always two soups to choose from. I needed help locating an item and the stock boy knew right where it was. The checker was very polite and bagged my groceries carefully. Good experience!

The store is ♿ accessible. However, it needs more ♿ parking spaces. When the store is busy, I often have to wait for a space since I use a wheelchair.There is a great selection of fresh produce🍎🍇🍓🍅🌽. The meat🍗 is fresh with many choices including family packs. The store has a pharmacy💊 & a bakery🍞🍩🎂. The employees are helpful and friendly.Wally-world may be less expensive, but the meat & produce lack the quality of Giant. I prefer to eat fresh food. Giants organic selections eliminate the need to shop at Whole-Paycheck. Additionally, the cleanliness makes it my favorite grocery store.

The selection of groceries and household essentials is excellent. The organic Natures Promise aisle has a decent variety as well. The staff at the checkout lines is great, but Ive run into some rather disgruntled management staff when dealing with pricing issues. I wasnt given the sale price initially on a product I purchased, and the manager seemed upset that I even cared. In the end, I was refunded the difference, but it shouldnt be that difficult.

Had not been to this particular store in quite some time. Dont go for Artesian breads theyre all empty. Good bread but they have to be in stock. Other than that it was a good visit to Giant on Emmaus Avenue

Favorite grocery store. You can add coupons right to your bonus card, get points to get discount gas, and they offer free fruit for kids while you shop. They hire great people. There is an older gentleman who is a war vet, must be in his 80s, who bags. An amazing guy. There is also a little older than middle aged gentleman who gathers the carts outside with a heart of gold. They truly hire people who are good for the business on a level that is much deeper than the surface. As a consumer that means a lot to me.

This Giant Store (Emmaus Ave) seems smaller & older than most others in the LV area. But store was clean & similar to others, i.e. mediocre selection and high prices.

Most of the time have what I need but lately its as if they arent restocking as much as they should be....The only reason why I shop here is its convenient to where I live....But the main store off Lehigh street is much better. A really nice store but further away....I go there too though....There is so much help in that store too should you have any concerns....🌝
