Always love shopping at Ctown even when I was a young girl in the Bronx. They have decent prices and always have sales going.
I like love this supermarket it is clean. The store manager is very friendly and help me to find my best products for what I was looking for. I find few things that I love the most are Torch lighters and they are all wind proof today I am super excited to go back in the store and buy more products. I find few pictures that you can see what I am talking about. Love you!
I go there every day.. These people know me by now. Awesome people, always helpful.. Okay prices.
Everything you need right there, friendly, and beautiful Spanish people! Great place! Will return!
They always have nice Latin/Hispanic music playing so that’s something. The prices of produce are relatively cheap, and they sell good meat that you can have pre-cut by the butcher. It’s also a good place to practice your Spanish if you are learning it. The only bad things I’d say is that it gets pretty hectic when crowded, and parking is limited.
Love c town they have all the Spanish food
Good service, well stocked, but prices are a bit on the high end. But its expected from smaller inner neighborhood supermarkets.
It was ok. very crowded and the aisle are small
Not bad store but front entrance and exit are extremely cramped and tight .Hard to bring lil ones in .But they do have side selection, fresh deli and Western Union/money orders,ATM
Its a nice store that has everything i always need but the parking space is too small and limited.
The problem here is it always looks dirty. There were NO plastic bags for the produce so I found some paper towels to wrap my produce. I saw a customer pick up a plastic bag from the floor to put his italian pimentos in. Discusting!! customers should not have to do that!!!!
Way better than the Allentown C-Town. Worth the bus ride if youre bored. Worth the gas money if you have a car. If you are reading this in the future, it would even be worth the time machine ride to avoid shopping at the Allentown C-Town.
Im not of Spanish Decent. You do the math.
No more boarshead deli meat &cheese and for a neighborhood supermarket the prices have gone way up i suggest you look for a new place to shop
THE ONE ON TILGHMAN STREET ALLENTOWN NEEDS A RENOVATION. THE CEILING LOOK LIKE ITS GONNA COLLAPSE.
All things Caribbean can be found at Ctown
All your latin products can be found here from a lot of latin american countries. Fresh veggies and meats and your favorite sodas. I was a kid when I last had a chubby. And I could find my dominican coffee here.
Got what I wanted 😌
So small and crowded all the time. Not a good selection and almost nothing youre looking for. Prices are pretty cheap
Very friendly people love to shop but a bit small but other than that its good 😊
My problem with C-Town are the prices. They put the shoppes in food desert areas and target the poor living on food stamps. Shame on them for that.In general, quality of produce and meats is fine- just ridiculously priced. Smh.
Love coming here for my grocery routine. I recommend little apple as well.
Found everything I was looking for. Quality products and meats are very affordable
Takes too long for sandwhiches or lunch meat to be given..only 1 person does it & you shouldnt have to wait for over 15 mins but otherwise good clean fresh foods
People.are friendly. and if you happen to lose youre mask they will give you one. dont make you buy it
Excellent for Dominican/Puerto Rican groceries. Some variety for Central American choices. Meat department is always fresh, employees are ready to help. A bit cozy, space is an issue. Prices for regular groceries my be improved.
Convenient when I need something real quick for dinner
Fast and large varieties
Not a long wait but the cashiers can be more courteous
Preferred over Supremo. Great products.
Love shopping here. They have items and 50lb bags of rice. Plus it reminds me of a New York supermarket. Check it out.
The store is always extremely crowded. Customer service is not great.
A little bit expensive but ok.
Its always too crowded, cant even shop thru the isles. And very expensive. Did not like it at all👎
Perfect place to find latin products and ingredients. Very nice latin market
Not a fan of price changes due to covid some other local grocery stores are fairly cheaper towards there community
Was so clouded. I think the owner needs to extend it.
Its convenient because its one block from my house
C-Town is a fantastic place to shop and conduct business!
Place is just a big bodega, need a lot of work and better attention to the customers.
The cleanest supermarket I have ever been in. Very well stocked.
I always find whatever hispanic foods I need!
Sometimes hard to get assistance in english
Food stamps 🥳
Really really small isles are stuffed have to evade every step when walking through store
Prices are normal and its not crowded and social distancing Great
Anyone who goes here loves them there they got the best prices in town always crowded parking is not good so be prepared to walk
Over priced I go there when it is convenient for me to just quick stop and shop
Takes getting use to your first time experience with this supermarket wont be the best because everything seems over priced..just gotta know when to catch the sales
The place is very busy always full, but is worth the wait. For the Caribbean, tropical, island dishes, you will find everything you need. Other supermarkets fall short because the cater all communitiesC-Town caters to the Latin community. Vegetables native to the islands and seasonings you cant get anywhere else. The best part is that in all it has an adequate mix of the typical American foods. Like almost every home is bilingual so is this supermarket. Easy to see from main road and easy to get to by car, bus even walking distance. They also make deliveries
The prices are great and they pick you up and drop you off Im always greeted when I come in
They always have what i need
A market for all your needs.. prices are a lil overboard...
Find food here, traditional Puerto Rican food you find other places.
Never have I seen more opposing views as in this thread. Unfortunately I I have to be thrifty because I do not get food stamps. The food is over priced. Ive returned spoiled meats a few times. The isles are too crowded. Music too loud. I use to wait in line forever while the cashiers carried on lengthy conversations with some of the customers. I waited especially long in the customer service area. And I felt really uncomfortable being looked down on as if the owners were some kind of monarchs in their office above everyone.
Always fresh meat and produce
I am a loyal customer to this store. Went there yesterday, did my shopping and my car could not start when leaving. I therefore went to get a mechanic and when i came back my car had been towed. The towing company wants $300. Tried to reason with C-Town management, the manager told me its not there problem, Seriously if this is how C-Town treats their customers after spending money i will leave you at peace but you just lost a very loyal customer.
I found fresh cilantro! I wish could have said the same about the green peppers!😵
Its got a lot of great variety and products from Central America. Store is tight but well kept
Small store. Has American Dominican and Puerto Rican foods.
Good
Fresh food..friendly staff 😁
The prices are very high and the customer service is really bad I do admit they need to do something about the cashier I was ripe off twice and I do admit you have to watch how people park.. The owner of the store doesnt care What sad the meat you have to be very careful.. look at it twice the floor look like there never been swipe or mop ..
I usually find what Im looking for but today I didnt find everything. Parking was crowded, had to park on 4th St. Staff is usually courteous and helpful, today was no exception. Some items are reasonably priced, others are too high..
Rude to customers who speak only English very unprofessional horrible customer service.Female store clerk was so rude as if I did something wrong because I only speak English smh
Clean, organized, a lot of varieties and I mean alot. I personally love it. Especially that they have Delivery and also offer help to take home if you dont own a car and have a lot of groceries #ufffff where else can you get this kind of service unless online obviously but totally recommend. 👏🙌🙏
Good selection for imported Latino brand foods. Produce isnt good. Deli meats are good and have good brands as well as cheaper and they arent too expensive. Workers have bad attitudes no matter how nice you treat them and throw your food in the bag like you werent even there watching. They seem to hate their job. Perhaps theyre not getting paid enough? Also very crowded often. I hate coming to this store... just my preference though, obviously.
I love this store. No its not a upscale place. And no they dont have ALOT of variety. BUT if u are looking to make authentic spanish food, this is definitely the place to shop. Low price, good quality and of course the ppl that work there are so very helpful. Id definitely recommend this store, to ANYONE looking to make some spanish food.
U can find a good Hispanic foods
Great food
Great neighborhood supermarket....the best!!!!
Crowded, dirty, cashier has no idea what I asked her. She called over customer service to help. The customer service woman told cashier what I needed and cashier still screwed it up and lied about it. Prices are high. Only good thing about them is they offer rides to and from the store. That is the only reason I go back. Most but not all drivers drive horribly though.
Reason for rating low: (pricing) Im a deal hunter and pay the price for particular items in an educated consumers manner. Many of these Hispanic owned business overprice on majority of the items that one can buy elsewhere for 10, 20, or up to 50 cents less at other locations while having a not so very pleasant attitude towards their customers. True, this location carries items others may not, but when you know pricing of particular items, its easier to walk away and do business elsewhere. This is just my thoughts on this particular visit.
Is my favorite supermarket
Wonderful workers always smiling and hard workers. Great store. Love it.
There is a large demographic here that use Access cards and i feel the prices here take advantage of that fact. Why is it that stores in this situation jack up prices? I find it shameful. Not to mention many dont have the means to travel outside their neighborhood to go shop at stores w lower prices. Almost the entire store frm the music blaring over the speakers to the items on the shelves is geared towards to hispanic community.
Friendly workers and very nice place to shop. Quick and easy. They even give you a ride to and from if you spend 30 or more there
Good
Employees treat you very nice. Specially winiffer the cashier. She was very nice
This supermarket has items that are reasonable price wise
Good, nice and easy
I just called to see if they have pana (breadfruit) and asked really politely IF they can set a pretty one aside so I can go purchase it really quick. The guy said no, Come get it yourself, very rudely. Then I proceed to ask when they close (cause I work) and he just flat out hangs up on me. The workers who used to work there were so friendly and willing to help out customers. The new ones, not so much. Fix your customer service or lose business over the next years to come. Ridiculous.
Cheapest meat prices in town. Fresh vegetables are also at a decent price. Everything else seems to be more expensive than Wal-Mart.
Not a really big selection. Meat is cheap so thats always a plus.
Ive been shopping here for 6 years now always decent price its always clean the workers are respectable well manners and I never had a problem here
Great Variety of Latino Food.
When you really need to grocery shop.
Prices to high
The food spoils too quick and the prices are too high. But there are some fine ass women that work and shop there.
Place is dirty looks like it should just be a little cornerstore (bodega). I know a lady who slipped on chicken blood in the dairy section apparently it leaked when they were bringing the chicken to the meat section. After 2 months of the run around manager finally answers and says I dont give an f. Do what you gotta do I have a lawyer very classy. The employees either couldnt understand me or were acting as if they didnt so theyre never helpful. Just there to get paid basically.
They had what I was looking for!
Perfect for finding Hispanic food I cant find at any other market but it is a bit overpriced on some items.
Great selection of meats w/realistic prices 👍
Very good and people are very friendly I like the place and you can find a lot of tropical product and more
Its a neighborhood market pretty good quality meats, isles are a little tight but good service especially if you speak Spanish
Good Hispanic good staples and options. However, it is always freezing in there. They could afford to lower the volume ac every so often
Love this place and the music they play, very festive. FYI they have pork belly!
They have good prices but the parking is small
