This is a new location, associates here choose to help when they are in happy mood else good luck finding someone to help.Parking is never an issue its getting out of the parking lot that always demands extra eyes to be safe.Its the hood, lock your doors and dont talk to strangers like mama taught you lol

Some not all of the employees have very nasty attitudes towards the customers Ive had 2 bad visits at this store within 6 months what they need to remember is the customer pays there salary & whatever there problem is the customer didnt do it !!!! These digital people growing up has no respect for no one I will not be supporting this establishment again.

This particular family dollar is always cluttered and unorganized. They hired new workers and it seems like they are trying to make improvements to the store and clean it up. Waaaay cleaner and much more organized than before. So they get 3 stars.

Garbage every time outside and inside

Usually can get what Im looking for but they always seem to be short handed. Lines are generally long and employees use foul language while customers were in line. I find it unprofessional to hear a manager drop the f word across the store when she is at the register.

Needs to be clean and organized and need more employees working there I had a bad experience that stock was more important than customers the line was long and I was in a hurry. Very bad the ones in allentown family dollar stores .

No products on the shelves. Didnt have what I was looking for Mens Degree Deodorant...

If I can give 0 stars I would. I got so much attitude for literally no reason only went to get dog food. This place is always a mess the shelves are never ever stocked. Please close this place it is such a disaster. Or fire everyone and rehire and train employees properly.

This facility does not serve the public instead it rots with no consideration for decent customers, employees there are extremely incompetent, with no leadership or concern for customers who rather quality service. Zero consideration for opening up registers when customers are ready for purchase, and lack of communicational skills. Clearly the store is overwhelmingly unkept, the aisles are atrocious, boxes of food and merchandise that obviously could have been opened up and stored, and lack of respect for who should be shopping.

The store close so i go there frequently. Sometimes its a little messy but they are usually good at getting items restocked. Some of the staff works really hard and are friendly while the other are just hanging out.

This space is ungrateful and there is not a broom or dust pan in sight, one register be open when a dozen of customers are waiting to make a small or large purchase, employees are nowhere to be found. Also outside of this space is atrocious, this space is broken.

For the store to be brand new the shelves were bare, the floors were disgusting and it smells.Update: the store hasnt gotten better. It actually got worst and the staff isnt friendly or helpful at all.

I just went to this family Dollar store 1st it was a mess you could not walk through aisles. Staff is very rude. I went looking for paper toiletries and the workers said there werent any. As Im waiting to check out 2 of the workers cut the line ask the cashier for paper toiletries she was holding behind the counter then cut the line to pay. Ridiculous. I will never shop her again

The women that works here is so rude! She makes you feel bad for checking out lol she literally complained the whole time while checking me out. And then complained some more because i got cash out. I dont get why you work there if you dont like it.

Everyone in this store is nasty and no shopping carts.Have to hold everything. The store is dirty.Hope the Health Department closes down. My wife wanted to use her debit card as credit and was told by 3 employees that she needs to use a pin because her card is no good. .This why the Family Dollars stores are closing. Cant wait for that to happen. The store has a odor.

Employees are constantly packing stuff away but the shelves are always empty this place is a joke!!

Ninth street family Dollar is just ridiculous, honestly I dont even know why this store is open, the store need to be under New Management team, needs to be reconstructed, there needs to be a new train employees, products are not, there are no products, at all when needed, no help, very poor, there is actiont needs to be done, I would not recommend this family Dollar to no one!!.

This place is terrible! They have no inventory and have stuff laying all over the place. Price tags were wrong and items were in the wrong place. And super dirty! The manager should be fired.

This place is not good and safe place to shop at. Every time I go there the place is always a mess. Workers there have their carts and boxes around the isles. There are long lines and staff dont come around right away to help the customers. Place is not organized and items are mostly empty. The store needs a lot of improvement.

Who let the dogs out??As soon as I entered the store, I had to start dodging boxes. Aisles were cluttered; push trucks had merchandise stacked high at every inconvenient location.I went to the check out station to ask the Latino woman for help. I started the sentence, Do you have.... when suddenly she turned away from me and started talking to a coworker about Maria and her husband. They took off light an airplane and fortunately another female had a counter space open. I checked out and dashed out of there.I found only two items for which I shopped.Its not a typical Family Dollar.

My husband just got back from getting a few things there. One item was an 8 pack of rice krispie treats only to find THE BOX HAD BEEN POORLY TAPED UP AND AFTER OPENING IT, IT WAS MISSING MOST OF THEM!!!!!!! Someone there took the time to tape it back up OVER HALF EMPTY AND SOLD IT ANYWAY? WHAT KIND OF PIGS work there??? The 3 that were still in the box are now in the trash!I would give them a negative 5 rating if possible but the people that work there wouldnt even care. We will do without before going there again.

The place is disorganized, cashiers are cursing in Spanish and English and having inappropriate conversations with eachother. By far this is the worst Family Dollar in Allentown. To top it all off merchandise was scattered all over the floor and the refrigerators have literally no food in them. There was two cashiers, but only one was attending customers. The other cashier decided it was important to tape open boxes of Christmas merchandise instead of ringing up people. The best of all, it seemed the manager and another worker in the back were cracking jokes together while looking on their phone. I think I was punked??

It has good customer service, however there arent many things to buy in this specific family dollar, but its selection isnt too bad either.

This location has a lot to learn on how to treat their customers. My mother is 80 yrs old, and she needed to use the restroom, she was denied access, and told to go somewhere else to use the bathroom. I would understand if the the bathroom would have been located in the back of the store, or a sign stating it was for employees only, but that is not the case. Moreover, if people are spending their money there, then why deny that person the use of their restroom. It is a shame that they would treat an elderly person in that manner. My mother, and I will never enter again!

The store is a mess like every other family dollar. However this place just opened months ago and yet it looks years old. The staff has a horrible attitude. You have to beg them to do their job. Then again if their managers spoke to them like they are people Im sure the staff would put in more effort. The manager at this location is just rude they way she acts and speaks in front of the customers is horrible. The idea of a dollar store in that location is a great idea but then you need to hire enough people to operate it correctly and treat them decent so they Dont quit in a week

This location had potential to be a prominent go to shop for all your needs locations but has declined tremendously in its short run. Unorganized and filthy with minimal merchandise to choose from. Upside is the CSRs, they are very helpful and keep the line moving.

It depends when you go honestly.. The lines are always long to wait on getting someone to check you out. As well as the boxes blocking the items that are on the shelves. That place is a mess ever since they redid it last year.

Its a good location, but not enough staff to organize merchandise

This is the one on 8th street. The line is always very, very long. 2nd the food aisle is ill stocked, including the refrigerators are bare. Eggs were all cracked and no milk. Everything in this location is.25 to .50 more expensive than all other location.

This is just opened and it should be closed. Its so dirty. Items are on the floor and the floor is dirty and the freezer is left opened and everything is melting. I spoke 2 persons that work in the and asked why is this store is so dirty her answer was because low life come in and make a mess. I told her The store still needs to be clear. Never will I go to that store again.

This place is a mess. Me and my family were tripping over boxes and items that were laying all around. There was a spill in one of the Isles. Then I asked a worker (a man) where something was and he seemed annoyed that I was bothering him while he was standing there didnt seem like he was doing anything. I get to the line which was backed up with alot of people and the man was still standing over there only one peraon on the register. He finally came over when people started to complain. I get to the register and the Women was just rude. She was rude to my kids as well. I was trying to take my bags off the counter but I guess I was taking to long cause she kept huffing and puffing at me getting annoyed and impatient. Then she tells me my amount came out to 50 dollars i looked up at the register it came out to 48.95 why tell me its 50 dollars tell me the right amount so i can give you the right amount its not hard. Then when i was leaving i said thank you have a good day she looked at me and screamed next in line. She was so rude. Also as i was checking out the other male worker was screaming at someone cause they forget something. Not an excuse me sir. He is screaming with an attidude at this man screaming on top of his lungs in front of everyone. Both workers were very rude very slow seem to not care about anything. The place was just very dirty and a mess, boxs were everywhere you couldnt walk around without tripping over something. This place is a safety hazard chemicals spilled all over the floor its ridiculous. And the workers are just rude miserable people. I dont understand how a store can function this poorly and that noone cares how this store looks and how their employees treat their paying customers.
