They always act funny with asking IDs, not that they shouldn’t but I always encounter an odd situation of asking for it or even after I showed it they don’t know what they doing and end up apologizing. Well-stocked store but some employees just be rude. I rarely shop there and the reason why it’s because I live super close. Smiling, happy and great attitude employees is urgently needed there! That’s my take

Store is well staffed and well organized. Marty offered help right when I came in and suggested a few new red wines to try that turned out to be a huge hit at a small gathering of friends. Thanks, Marty!*quick edit to add that I’ve been back since and got stellar service again! Seriously, this store gets it—inventory is important but staff and service are the most critical elements of this business. They hire and train well, and the team is clearly knowledgeable and supportive. All recommendations have been hit out of the park. I am now a loyal customer and hope you visit there soon!

Store is so well stocked and organized. The staff is super friendly. I was walking around looking for something with a picture on my phone and someone saw that and asked if they could help. They took me right to the bottle I had been looking for. The store is always clean and even when its busy, people are still helpful and its a nice visit.

I will go no other place. I live in McKinney and I feel Im surrounded with options regarding buying liquor. I have tried at least 5 other outlets and due to the prices, the selection, and the convenience, I will only shop at Total Wine & More going forward. Every time I visit Total Wine, the staff is very helpful. The are not only helpful, they are knowledgeable. Im not really a big drinker, however when I have to make a purchase, it will definitely be from Total Wine & More.

I was amazed! We are from Cali and I went there to pick up a bottle of a nice bourbon. My god they had the whole isle of bourbon! Pic attached. The bottles I considered top shelf like Hudson or Bullet was a bottom shelf stuff 😂

Was in town from Kansas and wanted to pick up some local craft beers. Went online and was able to research and select from their online ordering. Paid for the order and selected the curbside pickup option. Received emails on status and when order was ready to pickup. Arrived, parked in curbside spot and clicked button on my email to notify them where I was. About 2 minutes out came my 40 or so beers, my ID was validated, beer was loaded in trunk and I was off. Every part of the experience was A+. They had a great selection to choose from as well. The pic is just a few of what I purchased. Also was pleased when I checked the dates, none of the beers were more that a few months old.

Great selection of wine and beer. They usually offer tasting of different wines. The last day I went they even got some Texas tequila tasting.

Good selection and prices. They try to get you in and out quickly. Went in about 30 mins before closing and left with more than I needed or came in for. I like it better than several competitors because they have more selection.

It was so nice coming in here came for some beer, but had many tastings 🙂 with so many choices to choose from and great staff to talk to. Well done everyone 👍

Total Wine & More in the Village At Allen has the largest selection of wine, beer and spirits I have ever seen. If they dont carry it, then it is probably not made.The store is well organized and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are excellent!

They have been fantastic during the pandemic. Their curbside pickup has been flawless and its easy to order and pick up. Ive been ordering from them for over a year now and they have never made any mistakes with my order. They led the way early in the pandemic when they began their curbside. Highly recommend.

I was there a couple of weeks ago picking up some wines, and I had the absolute best help possible. I want to say the man’s name is Larry. So efficient and knowledgeable!!

Walking in I was overwhelmed by the vast selection. I came looking for a few unique items that are only sold at specialty stores. This store was clean and had hand sanitizer for use as soon as you walk in. Organization of the store is easy. It is labelled for navigation so i was able to find what i was looking for. I also had questions, so i stopped an employee to ask. He was quite knowledgeable. Answered my questions quickly. We were in and out in 15 minutes. There was no wait at checkout.

One of their employees, we will call her Karen, bottlecap glasses as round as her, brunette, yelled and chased my husband out of the store over their mask policy. Harassing people costs you business. We gladly took our business to liquor king a local business and will not be coming back. Ever. Shes lucky I was not there. In 1942 people were marked and refused service as well.

This is one of my favorite TWs. The staff here is so friendly and I don’t feel like they’re pushing products on me at all. Michael helped me today and talked about different wines he liked and different areas, like we winos tend to do. I realized that we have similar palates from his sharing and he turned me into a couple of good finds.The cashier was super sweet as well and didn’t rush me through checkout.Overall good experience.

Not a big drinker personally but have shopped many orders at different Total Wine and Specs locations for Instacart. I was told this last week at the Allen location that they were instructed not to help Instacart shoppers locate items. I asked her how I was supposed to know where the tens of thousands of products were there and she said doesnt it give you the aisle number? I told her yes, and then I made her look down the aisle and said now tell me how many products are on this aisle. To which she replied, I guess youll just have to work it out. Im not asking to be handheld but to just flat out refuse to help a paying customer, regardless of the fact that I am shopping in their place, is rude and poor customer service. I will continue to use other Total Wine locations for now, but not the Allen location. Just FYI

This is the first time Ive been to a Total Wine & More. The atmosphere was sophisticated and the selection was extensive. I also attended a tasting and the staff member was knowledgeable and fun to chat with. I would definitely recommend!

It was great shopping there for items I can not get at my hometown. Just didnt like the fact that I was told to wear a mask even though the mask mandate had been lifted.

An absolute shameless display of some mindless followers. Sheep. And nothing more. Confronts 1 customer without a mask in a group of 5 who were wearing their masks around their chins. I will absolutely shop elsewhere. And, make it know that the management staff at these locations are CLOWNS!

They have everything Im looking for and all the stuff I dont want too. XD :PShould be your first stop if your looking for a good gift or a nice whiskey/scotch or any of those off brand beers youve never heard of before but want to try anyways. ;)Staff is friendly and very helpful, knowledgeable.Not worthy of losing a star, but if youre looking to buy sodas, I would definitely make an extra stop elsewhere. They seem to charge an average of $2 more over everyone else for sodas.

Asked to leave store for refusing to wear mask or shield. Had the Covid already so dont see a need to wear a mask. Rude manager failed to offer me curbside service. These people dont want your business. Went across the street and got what I wanted no problem. F-YOU and your mask policy.

I did curbside pickup. When I got there they did not have the Blue Moon variety pack (caramel apple spiced, harvest pumpkin, belgian white, rounder, short straw) that I had ordered and paid for online. This was a gift for my son-in-law so the employee went above and beyond by bringing out some other variety packs for me to choose from. Substitution made and all is well. Im sure my son-in-law will like his gift!

So far they have had literally every drink Im looking for. Very helpful staff who know what theyre talking about and dont just sell you on the priciest bottle. Brilliant establishment.

The selection is amazing. Every single person there was incredibly helpful and nice. My friend and I enjoyed our short time there, it made a very lasting impression on us.

Terrible service. Walked in with a $50 gift card I received. Pick up a few things and went to check out. The lady at the register didn’t have any idea what she was doing. Had to ring up the order twice because she didn’t have the register on the first time. Then told me to swipe my card. When we said it was a gift card she took it to swipe herself. She swiped a few times. Kept inputting things and had to keep clearing it. She then spent 5 minutes trying to scratch the area where the pin was and I finally took it back from her and peeled the area off myself. She had some how deactivated the card and cleared the balance on it(the $50 was verified via a telephone call before going into the store). They called a manager and he was so rude. Asking me what I had bought with the card and I told him it was new. His comment was well you must have bought something and then I asked him well what then if a pin has to be put into the computer. He said well I don’t know. When we explained what the cashier did and how the pin area wasn’t even scratched yet because it was new, he just waved us off. Worst service ever. They don’t care about their customers are keeping their business. Guess the liquor store across the road will be getting my business from now on. Don’t buy Total Wines gift cards. Complete scam. I even emailed the customer service since no one answers their phones. Guess we will see if they care enough to respond.

One of the staff (named Julie) was awful. She was so rude that I left the store and took my business elsewhere. Typically the employees are friendly but this one is not. Ive had friends tell me the same thing about her. Not sure how she still has a job. I wont be going back.

I wish thr prices were just a tiny bit lower. Aside from that the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Another thing there is plenty of parking and i liked that the staff helped me carry 12 boxes of liquor to the car.

Stopped here on my way back to Dallas to get some drinks for the evening. It was well-stocked by the standards of any liquor store, but slightly less so than the Total Wine stores in Dallas, as the beer fridge was quite a bit smaller and there was less overall beer selection. People were very friendly and they had a new Fredericksburg TX beer I like called Altstadt (got the lager and the kolsch), which is the best German beer outside of Germany. Anyway, I’d come again and only downside was the shopping area it’s in is pretty large and busy.

The staff are all amazingly helpful, friendly, extremely courteous, and extravagantly knowledgeable! Total Wine is the the only way to shop!
