This is a new location. Employees are knowledgeable about products in the store. Very clean and wide isles.
Luv coming to this shop, got everything you need for most of your DIY projects at home.
This home depot never disappoints. I like to go to this home depot because it is close to work and I love their drive up feature. They have been fast and courteous every time I have used them. We have a drive up feature as well so I know how hectic it can be at time. So we should appreciate this service and take a step back and give a shot out.
I was in the Hardware Dept around 9:PM on Saturday night 8/14.I had a bolt in my hand & when the young man took one look at it, he said I have those same bolts right over here I was very impressed that he knew his Dept that well. Big Box stores get a bad rap, but this young man knew his stuff.Im sorry I didnt get his name, but his Manager should be able to figure it out & commend him.Patrick MillerHighland Park
Bad customer service. I came to exchange product that bought online for the company(No tax). They don’t let me exchange. Said you buy product online cannot exchange in store. Then I have to pay tax because I don’t have tax exempt card with me and I don’t want run back and forth. Will not shopping in home depot anymore. The girl call manager(Michelle)and she said the same. I don’t know is it just recently change of policy.
This was actually one of the best hardware store experiences Ive ever had. Greatest at the door, told quickly where everything I needed was, fun shopping cart for my kid. Wonderful.
It has it all. Deals parking. And product. Love it.
I love Home Depot! I usually find everything I need, the staff gives me a lot of information about whatever project I’m working on and if I’m not sure about a certain aspect of how to do it, they tell me, and sometimes show me so I leave feeling confident I can do it. Prices are good, not to high so I don’t leave feeling ripped off like I do at other stores. Which is a good thing. So hey- come shopping down here to home Depot! They’ve got everything!
Ive been shopping here for years. I am an electrician, spend about $30k to $50k yearly here on materials I need to get my jobs done. Ive watched the Alhambra store go from a well stocked, well organized store to the unkempt, unreliable, frustrating state it is now in. Simple everyday things like spools of black #12 wire, single gang boxes, trim plates, etc are routinely out of stock. Today, I needed a few 1g boxes, and theyre out. The associate told me to order online. There are none available online either. Sad, frustrating, and a waste of my time. The new Pasadena store is pretty, but also in bad shape, at least if youre an electrician. So, I stopped by Walters Wholesale, right down the road from HD Pasadena, and was able to get what I needed. Wasted time kills my bottom line. Whether its a service call, or new construction, this is a deadline driven industry. If I cant get even the most basic of electrical materials, I cant do my job. Im done wasting time and money at HD. Lowes, a local hardware store or the wholesale house will be where I go from now on.
Worse Home Depot. Someone (called Miomi or something like that - as she didnt didnt want to pronounce her name clearly) from the Garden section answered my call to check a product availability. She asked the number and the name of the product and then she said that she didnt know that product (I went to that location one week ago and saw it there.. I took a photo and have the name and numbers from it) I asked her to transfer me to someone who would know about the product and then she just hanged off the phone. Now Im calling the store and they put me in hold for 10 minutes. Really? I hope Home Depot has supervisors for their franchaises.
Actually was easy to get help from the workers find stuff (You know hard that could be). A good day ay the Home Depot. 🙂
Tellers / Cashiers are getting slower by the day.Hopefully they make check out machines with a sense of humor 🤣
Greeter seemed to be having a bad day. However the rest of my shopping trip, I experienced helpful staff, quick self serve check out. Fair prices and organized stock.
This is a friendly place to shop for renovating your home.People who visit and employees wear a mask.Employees are friendly to help customers in need of help. The Halloween decors are pretty legit. I had fun visiting the Home Depot in Alhambra with my wife and father-in-law.Please Stay Healthy, Be Safe, and Be Well everyone!Bosco :)
Looking for what I needed today was a success but not with out having to go through the entire store. On the home depot website it showed all the items I needed to buy today at a specific isle by number of isle and Bay number= the rack/Shelf number where the items are on. Anyways since the Alhambra home Depot store keeps moving things around, none of the items were in the locations the website stated. Someone did try to assist me but even he was wrong and I had to continue to look for the items I was looking for by just browsing the store isles. So I take away 2 stars for NOT updating the website with the isle locations and for the staff that wasnt aware of where these products were. The 3 stars is because I at least found everything I needed to buy for my project today. I come here all the time from Highland Park so of course I am still going to recommend coming here for all your hardware and home repair needs.
Went looking for specialized hooks for brooms and tools. Unable to locate so I asked the staff and informed to wait a few minutes. Saw plenty of staff but many of them were too busy entertaining each other. Bought other items I had already located but not the hooks. After 5 to 10 minutes was still waiting. Next time I will order from Amazon.
The best hardware store in town. You can build a house from scratch with all materials gathered in this store. Unfortunately not all store assistants is well trained, so they can not directly pin point what i want and also they seem not pay much attention to customer’s need. Hope they can do better.
Excellent customer service tganku lumber dept...
Not great parking butAlways find what is neededAnd helpful representatives.
Love the garden selection in this home depo compared to others iv visited.
Ive always enjoyed The Home Depot,👍 Ive had many customers Ive spoken to call me to handle their remodel tasks.. I had also liked the Home Base 👍when they were around, because they had many options in store, which were special order at the Home Depot and Lowes🤏 is a different story... Thank you Home Depot for your continued commitment to quality services and customer satisfaction... T L C Plumbing🤔😎
Great Customer Service and Garden Specialist and knowledge by Christina.
For all your home needs but it will never have the service like the mom and pop hardware stores
Customer service was very friendly, but it seems like the Home Depot of old, where there would always be some associate nearby to answer your questions about how to do stuff, is gone. Maybe there’s a special desk for that or something, but maybe it’s just a sign of the times.Still, great selection, easy in and out, friendly people.
It was a great visit! A worker named whose name starts with S went out of her way to help me locate N95 masks and mirror mounting clips !
Helpful workers, usually plenty of parking, and loading area is very efficient
Was told I couldn’t price match from an online competitor for a shovel. Home Depot’s Price Match Policy clearly states : “If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any other retailer, we will match the price. Just bring the ad, printout or photo with you to the register for validation. (This may involve the associate contacting the competitor).” Keyword is “any other retailer”. Was told just “ Lowe’s, Ace, and a few physical store locations”. Although the difference was only $4, it was the attitude and the lack of quality customer service that warranted this one-starred review.
Employees were very accessible and knowledgeable and directed me to help me save time, i noticed more female employees than usually but was a much better experience .
Everything in one place at good prices. All types of bug killers, shields, and hotels.
Whats there to say thats Home Depot quality and everything you look for. The best.
Some of the workers do not know what they’re doing or not helpful and there’s others that are willing and helpful and I gave them kudos and also spoke to the manager and pointed them out who helped us and it was disappointing and discouraging because I spent a lot of money and the item that I wanted needed was not in and cannot be rectified by adding other electric tools or the battery tools to make a package deal so got a couple tools but wasn’t able to get a complete set and paid a lot of money
Home Depot hires people that dont know what theyre doing they dont take care of their employees and theyre overpriced
Good looking men every day
Helpful staff. Were willing to bring a pallet down to restock items for me. Thanks!
It’s a Home Depot all right. Much like all Home Depot’s it contains a lot of stuff, I recommend searching the inventory online before going as the parking lot is the smallest I’ve ever seen. I did buy a large cactus for cheap, so that was nice.
A few weeks ago I went into the Home Depot in Alhambra & received superior customer service by their employee, Wesley.Wesley was able to help me search and compare different products that I could use for my upcoming bathroom remodel. This guy is extremely thorough at his job! I showed him images of my bathroom through my cell and he then walked me through all the tubs and shower panels they had on display. He explained all their features to me and what would work best for my needs and budget.Wesley even went as far as to describe the proper demolishing process, what type of fixtures would work with my plumbing (I have an older home), and the types of issues that I may encounter with my remodel.I really liked how he always offered a reasonable solution to any remodel concerns that I had.And while there was a Karen interrupting for assistance, Wesley kept his composure and assisted everyone. Very patient guy! This is what Excellent customer service is about, so I will be definitely coming back again to this store.
I recently purchased a major appliance for over $2,000, but unfortunately I selected the 240 v variety instead of the 120 v variety. Since I didnt have 240 current at the location where the unit would go, I asked HD to exchange the unit for one that would work. After many, many hours on the phone, the manager pointed me to fine print (on a web page far removed from the item description and purchase pages)--no returns and no exchanges on major appliances, no matter the reason. The appliance has never been used. Never been connected. Never set up. Never had the cord attached to it. They have told me quite clearly that they have no problem exchanging/accepting returns of less costly items, but not for major appliances. Here is the lesson: If I need washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, a/c s--ANY major appliance, I will always need to find somewhere else to get them because if one of them doesnt work out, I will likely get the same level of support I have gotten here--no help, no support. I could have ordered an appliance from Amazon or Lowes, but I chose my local Home Depot because I had always been satisfied with them, their products, and their service. However, the more I spend with them, the less satisfaction I get. Now, I am super disappointed and extremely dissatisfied with Home Depot. Obviously Amazon or Lowes would have been better choices for making a major purchase.
I love going to this Home Depot. It was bustling with people, and everyone and employees were wearing masks. I found the products I needed and even got help on three separate occasions! Other Home Depots, no one is available to help you, but at this Home Depot, everyone was so helpful.
Great place to find your tools
Always have it all you need.
Nice experience and convenient close my house
Very helpful staff. New and clean store.
I spent thousands here over the past 5 months working on my home remodel. We just wrapped up and I had a box of odds and ends that were not used that I brought in to return. I did not have receipts for them any longer because you know what a mess remodeling can be and everything was not on the same receipt so there was no way I was bringing in 30 receipts. When it came time to scan my drivers license they told me I was denied and could not return the items. The manager came over who had a major attitude problem and explained to me that if I had been returning things without receipts all around town that thats probably why I got denied. For the record I cant even tell you the last time I returned something somewhere. She continued to list off reasons which were insulting to my character. I finally left the store called the 800 number on the denial receipt and was told that Home Depot is not accepting returns without a receipt at this time. horrible horrible customer service they could have just said this in the beginning instead of insulting what kind of character they thought I had. I will also mention that I was in hospital scrubs so clearly I dont have time to run around buy and return things all over town. Hoping whomever is in charge of the store looks into this. Managers should not be insulting customers. I will NOT be back and I will be cancelling my Home Depot credit card. Lowes, here I come.
Well ill say this more helpful then the Glendale store..
Employee was very helpful in the seasonal section. The merchandise was well stocked. I just do not like self check-out. Human interaction is good for a civil and social society.. Happy Holidays🦃🌲🕎🚻
Something about this place I can never have enough of..... All the tools i can only dream of having..... makes my way of living easier.
Worst experience EVER in the history of 25 years shopping at HD .Never again shop this store in Alhambra!Cashier Beatriz is hella unprofessional ...Avoid that one if at all possible ...Sheesh ... smh
Tried to exchange a purchase I made and was told that a DeWalt 20v battery in sealed unopened package was considered a major appliance and non refundable! After reading HD return policy I realized that the return cashier LIED to me.. The more I think about it, the more upset I get.. Ive never had a problem with returning/exchanging before but this time has changed my mind about any future purchases for my company or my home. Lowes might be closer than I thought...
Friendly and knowledge. Always get what I need there with good recommendations
To he place is terrible. Dont order anything from here. You can only buy what is in the store. Customer service is the worth, you will wait for at least an hour
Always find what I need
This is one of the better Home Depots in LA County. MOST workers here are very friendly and try to help (vs. ignore you or run away). Its cleaner and more orderly than most Home Depots. However - I always have trouble when Ive tried to come and order an appliance.Multiple times Ive stopped by the appliances department to ask some questions or place an order and the woman who works there has no interest in doing her job. She just sits around clicking around on the computer or yakking it up with coworkers. She does not greet customers or ask if we need help, we have to walk over to HER where shes sitting with the carpet sales people, to get her to acknowledge us. Home Depot is lucky weve given them so many chances and still bought a few appliances despite our negative experience with her. It may be for the best she does not help us, because her covid-mask is just a piece of cloth held up by her glasses, and she insists on having the fan be blowing on her at all times. She should get a sedentary office job instead. Luckily Joseph was able to help us and is very thorough. If you need appliance help, speak to Joseph!
Very good customer service
Nice place, most employees are nice and friendly however there are a couple who.... Quite frankly need to be fired. My only real complaint is that the last few times I went it took almost an hour to check out because ALL of the self check out registers were card only and there was only 1 cashier for a line that had no less than 50 people in it.
Its like Toys R Us, but for home improvement. Staff are very friendly and helpful, everything is easy to find.
Ordered two small items for curbside pick up at the Alhambra, CA location. When Home Depot sent email stating ready for pick up only half my order was in and didnt bother to tell me the complete order was not ready. Had a second email sent to me to letting me know my second item was finally in after 2 weeks, waited in my car for 30 minutes after letting them know I was waiting in my curbside space. I had to finally go into store and then they tell me my item was not there or lost! Really??? Why send an email then and then not even send an employee to let me know while waiting in car. I will never use curbside pick up or order anything online at Home Depot in Alhambra! Terrible service, follow up and customer service. GO TO LOWES MUCH BETTER!
I was here today getting some faucets done, as a newbie i know nothing about it. But i met a gentleman there named “wesley” from plumbing he was one of the best guys in the business! He knew his stuff through and through. Although a part was not in stock, he wouldnt give up and thought of others ways to solve the issue i had. I felt very happy with this kind of service! I must note that when someone like me comes into homedepot to look for an item etc i am not a plumber, i really needed help from someone like him. Without a guy like “wesley” i would never been able to solve this issue. Thanks “wesley” for helping me and homedepot has a great employee in you.
Out of stock on 3 items I went for.Went to Ace and got everything
Went to buy paint there a long wait.
Ended up visiting the store 3 times in one day as I was unsure what pieces worked best for my project. On the third visit, Wesley from Plumbing asked if he could assist me, and let me tell you... THIS EMPLOYEE NEEDS A RAISE. Not only did he help me find the pieces I needed, he made recommendations for my project that I didnt think about. He was kind and helpful, without being overbearing. Great customer service. I got home, and finished he project within 30 minutes with no problems whatsoever. Without Wesley, this project would not have been a success. Thanks, bud!
Disagree with the ownership politically but sometimes they have the right product and right price.Did curbside pickup since I prefer not to go into stores during a pandemic.Even though there was only one other car waiting I waited about 20 minutes from notifying them I was there until I had my product.
Comparing this store with El Monte store, the more staff at El Monte is more helpful, nice, and welling to help you out. This store building staff is not usually to cut the wood for you. Always say the machine is broke down. Later on its working for somebody else. However, tools department staff (two more experience) super helpful, nice, and highly recommend to promotion to the next higher position in supervision and management.
Cool place. They sell stuff you can buy
I ran in for one item, yeah right. It wasnt crowded and there was no lines.
Very helpful customer service
It’s a Home Depot. But only giving this 4 stars because I couldn’t find a fire extinguisher even after being told which aisle to go to.
I needed some shelf brackets to add a few more shelves to my bookcase. The employees were helpful and I quickly found what I needed. All the employees were wearing masks and the lines were clearly marked to keep people six feet apart, but everything still moved quickly and I was able to take care of everything quickly and easily.
The paint department needs help the last two weeks have been a nightmare and this place is dirty and stuff every where. Monrovia or Redondo home depot is my top two. With covid you should be able to eat off the floor
One of the bigger stores in the area. I love going here and losing track of time walking down the isles.Ample parking and a great nursery area.If you’re a DIYer then this is the place for you.
It was quiet very stocked up & not as packed as others. Check out was fast too.
One of your girls there very bossy and rude to everyone. Next time I will get her Name
It is a huge Home Depot you can find everything here and the staff a friendly
Was clean. Had what we needed. Surprised at how long the line always was.
Not bad for a big store
I always visit this type of store to see the garden or cleaning products
Not much help to fond things. Good availability. Good help.loading. I like getting loaded.
The employees rudely told my disabled mother to get out the way of their forklift while she was trying to shop. Then there was a dangerous floor cleaning machine in our way leaving the floor wet. There are no checkout people anymore. Apparently, we all work for Home Depot now. What a lame store.
I always find most fof what I need, the only DOWN side is that some employees do not help the other day I asked a young girl for help and she rush her walk then I said again, “excuse me “ and she “ I m in my break” fold her uniform and run she could smile and say I will call someone else to help you. U wait for ever to get help on isles . U have to know how to help ur self and know what u need to enjoy the place
I like the option that text you exactly where the tools are located its very convenient
Terrible service everytime I go there its the old samething no service, anyway I was looking for a bathroom cabinet and saw one online for 99.00 the site it daid that you had 5 in stock when i arrived there was nothing?? I have a question if you have a par of what is sold why is it there when it doesnt work this will lead to not wanting to come to home depot!! Maybe I should go to Lowes instead!!
It takes a minute to learn the way things generally are in the store, but they got everything you need. And, the people are really nice!! We use the app to find out where things should be located based on aisle and Bay.
Im glad to have a Home Depot in the neighborhood. If youre approaching from the east on Mission, turn right, one block before Marengo on Electric, drive two streets north to turn left on Orange; Home Depot will be on your right hand side. You can often avoid the heavily trafficked intersection and increased wait time due to the new left turn signals which were installed in mid 2018.
Great place to shop for all my roofing supplies. Couldnt be more easy.
This home Depot is just like the others.
Wesley caught me going up and down the faucet and plumbing aisle multiple times, I tuned him out the first time, on the second approach he just checked up on me You find what youre looking for? From our natural conversation he gave me some recommendations, a few ideas, and I even learned a couple things. He showed me exactly what I need (Which is hard given the particular nature of my faucet/adapter setup) and it felt like he was genuinely interested in my predicament. Also the staff was very polite despite me being in the store right up until the last minute. 5 Stars Home Depot.
Home depot scales huges tti# get the scanner use the path of constructionMaken a in side happen 12-14on a work out lets fix a house get info and wires
Everyone so helpful thank you
Friendly service and a great selection.
I bought a small whirlpool refrigerator in this store Homedepot Alhambra. I payed 500$ Plus tax. The small refrigerator came with free shipping and all, everything was good up that point. 2 months later my refrigerator started to leak lots of water and stopped cooling the bottom part. I called homedepot and they told me to call the manufacture. I called the manufacturer, and they told me that they will send a technician, but I requested to have it change due to the fact that there is no way a “NEW” refrigerator will give you mechanical problems after 2 months you bought it. They refused and said they need to detect the issue, So the technician came and claimed they fixed, but it failed. After 6 months later it happened again. So long story short they waited until my guaranteed expired and I was stuck with a broken refrigerator. In conclusion, either HOMEDEPOT have used and broken refrigerators or whirpool is just bad brand. I’m so disappointed and I highly recommend to make sure what you buy and where and what benefits are guaranteed for your if something goes wrong.
