Great selection and affordable prices. This is a great way to buy books without paying full price.

This is my favorite book store. Not so many exist anymore..I can always find a good book there, and even music, movies, notebooks and etc. Kids section is pretty good as well. And everyone who works there are super nice and always willing to help.

Love this place, I was recommended to stop here for a DVD set I was looking for. Discs are in amazing shape and the store is clean and organized. The staff was very helpful and friendly!

This store looks like its going out of business. Lots of displays are gone it looks very bare. Prices have gone up considerably. Hopefully, its only a matter of time before this flea market type of store is gone. Never again will I set foot in this store. They should change the name from Half Price books to overpriced books.

Bought a $10 used game from Half Price Books.Played it once and took care of it.Sold it back to Half Price Books and received $1.47.

When I see a name like half price books I get the impression that it will be a resale shop and deal in gently used books and other fair at a low cost. I wasnt completely wrong. There are items that fit this misleading moniker. A book thats not a first edition going for $34 a 5 disc dvd set $90. Its like grandma went nuts with the price gun at a yard sale. However the ambiance was wonderful the overhead music was a perfect level for shopping and conversation. The restroom was clean and the supplies were full. The staff I did interacted with were a big part of the reasons I will shop here again.

Love being able to browse various genres of books, music, and kids activities and purchase for a great price. Bring your own tote if you plan to purchase a bunch! Otherwise bags are $.99. Also so funny to see VHS, books on tape, etc!

Went in on looking for unusual finds and was not disappointed. Large selection of books and previously viewed dvds and found a couple of movies I could not find elsewhere. Some of the merchandise were a little overpriced, but I did find a couple of bargains. Staff pretty much leaves you alone, so they lose a star for pretty much no customer service, but its a great place for finding book, music, or media gems.

This is a great place to bring your old books to sale and someone else will buy and enjoy them . Library will only take small amounts if at all, so why not make something for them.

Great to shop at, terrible to sell to. Youll essentially get nothing back for the things you sell. But amazing stuff, a lot of modern and holistic things too. Stuff you wouldnt find at other places. pop culture selection is decent. Never really anything I /want/ though.

They yelled at my friend who had a signed medical document saying he couldnt wear a mask because of his broken nose, and said for him to wear it over his nose or leave even tho it was over his mouth. Very rude management and manager. Samantha followed us even tho his mask was now over his nose. They enforced the mask but couldnt even stand 2 feet away from each other and putting store policy over STATE LAW. They said theyd call the police... Dont come here and spread the word. This might make my friend consider contacting legal counsel. This Review will be under review.

Awesome selection of cds! I have bought over 100 used cds for 2 dollars each on clearance and have only had one that didnt work! Most recently I purchased lateralus by tool, completing my collection. Book selection is great too, clearance always has a bargain. Theres plenty of popular novels such as 1984 in stock.

Well lite, clean, bright. Basically a happy place to browse books and things. No pressure, large selection of recent books. Well sorted into types. Very reasonable prices.

One of my favorite places to go with the family. They have loads of used novels, video games, music (CDs, cassettes, vinyls), comic books/graphic novels, and all sorts of kids books and toys. Also, they buy books and pay cash.

Trader books I was finished with, and picked up a couple of new books and change. If you got books you no longer need its a place to recycle them for cash, and something new to read. Or like me just to look at the pictures.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The staff is very helpful. Even during this time of COVID this is still a great place. Selection is very good and if they dont have the book you are looking for they will order it for you.

Decent size location and always find something interesting and often come here when looking for something specific as well. Great friendly staff, but they do NOT pay a lot for books etc when you bring them in to sell. But great location for cheep and affordable rare finds!

If you have current/in-demand books in good condition you will not receive an appropriate valuation if selling here.If you have a ton of books you just want to “get rid” of you can either donate them to your local library or bring them to this store and they will dispose of them via various methods.The store has a wide variety of books, DVDs, videos, puzzles audio books, etc. and prices appear to be reasonable.The area of concern here is the valuation given to your current/in-demand books which you want to sell as what they will offer you is well below market value.So what you have to decide is what is your objective in bringing your books to Half-Priced books....to make money, offer reading opportunities to challenged areas or just get rid of books that your never going to read again....if it is to make money then this is the wrong venue for you.

I love audio books Half Price Books have a very nice section. Of course at half price. I use them when Im in traffic sometimes Im in traffic a hour and a 1/2 and it relaxes me. Im able to find a lot of my favorite authors their to. Also they buy your old books and audios. Its a win win situation. I love Half Price Books!!

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The selection is great and the prices are great. My favorite is that they are a pet friendly store! I bring my dog in there and she loves seeing everyone and sometimes she gets a treat from staff! Love this place!

While I cant fully confirm that they are half priced, I can confirm that they have a wide variety of books, and recent popular books. Only thing I didnt see which was really the only thing I was looking for was a horror section, though its possible my eyes slipped over it every time I passed it.

I love books and this is paradise for me! They have 50% sales of their already low prices every now and then. I love sewing, baking, crochet, gardening and other simple crafts. Always find something useful and fun in this store! They also have music, video games and table games for all generations. Absolutely love it!!!!!!

You never get enough for your used books (at least in your mind), but some money is better than nothing. Very friendly staff.

I love the fact that everybody there is very knowledgeable in the area that theyre working in. They can order books for you and everything.they have really amazing suggestions and theyre always willing to make sure that what you read will keep you interested in coming back for more. For me, its very well worth the drive.

Love this quirky and ever changing book haven. You never really know what you can find here and the prices are great! They also will buy back books from you and give you in store credit to use on another purchase. Love you some music? There is quite a selection, including vinyl records, and games for popular gaming systems. Dont forget the movie selection either. I highly recommend this as a must for book worms of all ages.

This place as well as all the Half Price Books is okay at best. I brought in 50 books to sell to them. They gave me $8.40 for them. I went in the following day and found every book from the list of books that I sold them. The total asking price of the 50 bucks was $224. So they gave me an average of 17cents per book and sold them for an average of $4.48. I understand free enterprise but I also understand right and wrong and taking advantage of people. If theyre going to make over $2 per book they should pay at least $0.50 per book if not $1. Their DVDs are all so outrageously priced for being used. He used copy of Brooklyn costs $10. You can buy the same movie on eBay for $5. Same thing goes for their record albums. Except for the albums placed underneath that sell for $1 a piece, the albums are way overpriced.

The people were friendly and they have a great selection of books. I went there because they buy books and donate books to their outlet stores and low income libraries, which is a great away to give back. Dont expect to make your fortune selling your used books, but if you just want to get rid of them, this is an excellent avenue. The store was very clean and organized. Great place to buy used books.

This is my go-to book store. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. They have a great selection and great prices! Did you know that they are DOG FRIENDLY?! Yes, you can bring your dog with you while you shop!

I love all half price book stores. Theyre always clean, things are always in the right place and I love the idea of recycling books. Im not a fan of kindle - I want to turn my own paper pages!Its always a little hit or miss, but I know that going in.

Great place to sell, buy, or just hang out. The vibe is chill and the staff is great. Sometimes they forget to put out the coffee but they are quick with it if you remind them. Lol. It’s the cheers of bookstores! Some may say it’s the cave of wonders for booklovers and other nerds alike!!

I like going here just to look at all the cool stuff and find books I didnt know I wanted to read. They add lots of new items too.

Half Price books is one of my favorite stores, then I have been to three or four of their locations. This one has a great selection, as well as a great selection of non-book items like games, movies, and video gaming accessories. I can always find something to buy when I go here, which you could view as a pro or a con, depending on your bank statement.
