Anyone whos ever been in a Sephora knows how it ends up just sucking you into it and before you know it, youre walking out with over $100 of make up. Bad store for people with no self control but definitely a beautiful place. I only docked a star because I hate the pushy atmosphere of it. Otherwise, its basically like any other make up store and nothing too different about it.

I have been to this Sephora twice now, both times since the stay at home order was lifted. First time, the girl working was behind the counter on a personal call the whole time I was there, and did not greet me or ask me if I needed any assistance, and I could have actually used some help, but felt that she clearly didnt want to provide assistance (and I was the only customer in the Sephora area). I decided to give this location a second chance this past weekend. Again, I was the only customer in the Sephora area, and this time there were two girls working, both standing behind the counter socializing. I was again not greeted by either of them, or asked if I needed assistance. And it would have been nice if one of them asked, because I ended up walking back and forth between product shelves and wasnt sure exactly what I wanted to get. I dont mind when store associates arent constantly asking if Im ok, and I dont usually mind employees socializing with each other, but when I clearly look like I could have used their advice or help finding something, and didnt receive that, next time I know to driver further to a different Sephora location.

I was supposed to write this review weeks ago, but when I went in to exchange an item that was gifted to me, Natalie helped me out so much and made my experience awesome and easy. The transaction was simple, her finding me the right shade of foundation, ordering it to my house because it was out of stock, getting the right shade of lipstick, and giving me helpful tips and trial size stuff. I had such a wonderful experience. My friend came along as well for her first time and we’ll never go to any other Sephora. Thank you so much Natalie!

Codld not find gloves or hats for children, and could not find any one to ask. I was probably there at least 1/2 hour. Not pleased, store was not like they use to be. I loved penneys.

I was pleasently surprised with my first visit there. Employee was very helpful. My second visit still okay but that employee not as good. I asked about a product & got a sample. After that she never asked if there was anything else she could help me with. Not good customer service skills. Maybe it was a long day for her & she was tired. I will keep looking for the first Woman that waited on me. She was excellant! So, I would still go back. Good luck.

Easy to navigate and found what I wanted.

Claimed a reward for some ceramic jars. Came shattered, cut my hand open and bled everywhere, called customer service. She (Lorna) called me slicing my palm open from the damaged product an inconvenience and gave me 200 points for an apology. Sephora has the worst customer service.

Manager is very rude and unfriendly. I have seen her do makeovers where she has a very annoyed look on her face and the customer looks uncomfortable. The assistant manager is no better. Only one or two employees who look like they actually want to be there, trust me, drive to woodfield for better service!!

My wife goes there all the time and she thoroughly enjoys it no complaints from here

Had the best experience with Alyssa at Sephora! She was incredibly knowledgeable and really friendly. I would recommend asking for her next time you are in Sephora in Algonquin. Also thank you Whitney for taking care of my exchanges! Thank you ladies!

Dont bother, This is the worst Sephoria. Nothing is in stock, nothing is cleaned and sharpened. If the sales girls see you they wont help, and if they help they dont know about anything in makeup. Save your time, drive somewhere else. The worst.

Some of the girls (not all of them) are some of the most stuck up and rude people ever.

I always love to come into this Sephora. Even though it is inside a JC PENNEY, they do have many products and the girls there are always very friendly and glad to help!
