My experience was excellent, d services person LUIS was so kind, a lot of patience, knowing a lot about appliances, convinced me so I bought it a microwave, Best Buy need more people like him...
If you need a computer, laptop, all in one, etc. Go to this location and get Habib to help you. He knew every model of computer, all the specs, the pros/cons. I had some questions as to what I needed and he helped me through them, and his help was honest. It in fact led me to a less expensive laptop. He also made me aware of all the sales and promotions that were going on, so I saved money on the purchase. He was very friendly the whole time and was happy to help.
The technicians at Geek Squad at this store are excellent and treat the customer with respect. They are good with explaining issues, how to do things, etc.
Justin and the managers Mikey and Chris (or maybe it was Tim..) were super understanding and helpful during the exchange process after I got an IPhone with a defect. I was so pleasantly surprised- faith in customer service restored! :-)
I love the store, but the prices are way too high. $30 for a SD to USB Converter that I could find at another store for $15. Or from Amazon for even less.
Always hate shopping here and only go if I really have no choice. Ive had returns refused because they arrived from their website damaged, and multiple other issues over the years. Cant wait for Beat Buy to disappear.
Zero stars. Horrible service. Wanted to return a factory defectives item but they found some pathetic lame excuse to deny my return and blame it on me. Arrogant manager. My foot will never step into that store again. Also, always standing in our way when entering the store instead being apart so can people pass.
This is the Best Best Buy ever! The best thing is that they best the competition better than anyone would even imagine besting someone. Dont even think you have a better chance of finding a gooder place this is the BEST!
After going to this Best Buy so many times Ive gotta say its probably the best retailer I have ever been at. The employees that work here do a really good job at what they do if they arent pushing you to buy something. Ive had plenty of good experiences going here and I will continue to support them.
We purchased a MS Office from the store- clerk Lexi asked about our email- to email activation code. When we checked our email at home- nothing was there. So- we drove to the store again, wasting another hour of our time.When we explained situation, the clerk could not help; manager Tim since beginning of conversation defensive, using raised tone of voice, trying to blame us for Lexi mistake. Neither said “sorry” just interrupting our explanation all the time.Probably because we have a foreign accent.All the encounter we felt ignored and abused by his tone of voice.Horrible experience- we have never dealt with situation like this.Stay away from that store- incompetent personnel completely with no idea how to treat costumers.I would give them 0 “stars”

Instead of trying help load a TV in my truck, the employees decided to try to get me to sign up for a Best Buy credit card while I was trying to handle it delicately. If they are gonna refuse basic customer service, at least get out of the way and dont be predatory, especially after a customer spent a considerable amount of money. This location is consistently the worst Best Buy I have been to.

Do yourself a favor and drive to Crystal lake instead.I was harassed by Habeeb, the man “standing guard” at the door. I was requesting a receipt for the second iPhone I had to purchase after being sold the wrong one the first time by Anna. The second visit was to exchange the phone, it took over 3 hours (same employee) and I left without a phone. Today (third visit), I spoke to the manager, Mikey to thank him for previously assisting with my return and let him know his door greeter was less than welcoming. He could have cared less. What a shame this location is.

Really! Bought a tablet from a week ago. Graham was our salesperson and he was super good! I went in the next day to get the screen protector installed, the lady who installed was very nice as well and I was in and out within 10 minutes.
Fast curbside service and awesome staff. The man who helped us was so patient and helpful. We had a large appliance to take home in an unfortunately small car and he made sure it was secure for our drive home. This was our first time using Best Buy curbside and we are very pleased. :)

This is my second favorite store. Most of the workers are very knowledgeable, but pricing could be a little cheaper in this pandemic.

Horrible process for helping customers. You have to check in with someone at the front of the store and give them your phone numbers. And when someone is available to help you they will send you a text. Meanwhile as you look around the store you can see many sales associates standing around doing nothing. I waited 15 minutes and finally left. No mystery to me why Best Buy is going under. Its a shame
I like shopping for electronics and appliances here. Best buy has a good warranty program and friendly helpfull staff.
Inventory shrinking lately. Regular employees are awesome, friendly and helpful. Ive always enjoyed them. Holiday workers and efficiency leave something to be desired.

The store wasnt willing to price match their own online bundle pricing for 2 appliances. Very frustrated, walked out when they tried to save me money by upselling me a software product I didnt need or want, and the total cost went up by $30. 🤨
Was greeted by friendly lady at front who directed an expert associate, Connor, on streaming options & patiently answered many question from two seniors trying to learn more about options for TV programming. Id go back to this store for next purchase.

I visited Best Buy to upgrade my iphone8 an associate told me to come back on labor day weekend because they might have better offers but I insisted that I needed a new phone to which she spoke on her microphone just to make me come in and wait 25 minutes without anyone coming to assist me better I decided to leave and go to T Mobile. I know it is not the best place to purchase a new phone but since I have a credit card with Best Buy, a membership with geek squad and i recently purchased 3 electronics there I decided to visit them first. I quite understand retail has change i work in retail as well however you should at least let customers know your new procedures instead ignoring them. You have made me to reevaluate my options before acquiring new electronics or appliances before you were my firts choice.

They literally do not answer their phone. All the system does it put you on hold and then hangs up! When Best Buy is out of business I wont wonder why.

Worst customer service experience with Geek squad I have ever received. Went to get a battery replacement for my phone at 6:20 pm (i had a reservation) and was told all technicians leave by early afternoon and my phone wouldn’t be fixed until two days later. Also waited in line with no one at the counter for 10 minutes before I had to ask someone to call geek squad.
This store wouldnt refund my unopened printer because it was outside of their policy, instead offering store credit. I couldnt make it out to return the goods due to the on going pandemic and Best Buy couldnt step up to help out the consumer. Because of this sort of gotcha treatment I plan to make that my last visit to Best Buy and really dont need the store credit.
Its a different experience. You need to contact someone upfront and theyll call a rep. To assist you. My rep. Was very helpful and informative though. Ron deserves 5 stars despite the new arrangements in customer service.

Very poor customer service. You have no clue who is delivering and or installing items in your home. I had all new appliances delivered. When my dishwasher was being installed the guy says to me I wont install your dishwasher unless you replace this water line. He was very aggressive. They banged up my walls and asked if I measured, which I did. Best buy would not return my phone calls. I will never buy anything from best buy again.
Terrible customer service, hung up on multiple times when trying to ask for a direct number to call back or a confirmation of getting help with a $1000+ purchase that 3 months later does not work at all. Please do not shop at best buy, any of them. I suggest amazon or ABT, stay far away from Best Buy!
The new covid setup despite the fact that everything is supposed to be opening up is very strange. Store filled empty and the first person that helped us basically said the laptops were all sold out. Big disappointment.

Average Best Buy. Many workers were playing on their phones and getting help wasnt the easiest thing.
I had a scheduled appointment and arrived 10 minutes early only to be told the tech was leaving and they are little backed up. My options were to leave the phone overnight and it’ll get to the next day or get an appointment at an Apple store for same day service. I asked if I could return tomorrow afternoon, that was not an option.For future reference, you Geek Squad might want to sound proof your back room/hangout or put a solid door because all I heard was laughter. Even heard the specialist going back there to inquire if they had the parts for my phone which he was told yes.

I had an appointment at 3:40 at the Best Buy in Algonquin, IL. I got stuck at the door by the entrance with their people questioning why people where there. I made it to the counter at 3:48 and they refused my appointment. I will never use them again with this level of service is unacceptable.
Does anyone pickup the phone at the Algonquin store?I understand if youre busy a little hold time.But a half hour and counting just to talk to a person?
Went to look at radar detectors and picked one i wanted but it was locked in a case so I asked the closest worker, who was doing nothing, if he or anyone could unlock the case so I can buy it and be on my way but turns out to get any help in the store I had to go up front and sign up for a position in a que. I guess taking 30 seconds to unlock a case for a customer would be too easy

A gentleman named Eric from the home theater department helped my father and I purchase a T.V. a week ago. He had impressive customer service etiquette that really made him stand out from the rest. You can tell that he liked his job. Id recommend Best Buy to all of my friends and family who are looking for some immediate electronic purchases. Even during COVID-19 he allowed us to see their floor-modeled T.V.s so that we were better equipped to make the best purchase decision. Hats off to Best Buy in Algonquin!
It was ok but it would have been great if the salesperson would mentioned the installation and delivery time.We hope that maybe they will make it sooner,because dont have a TV to watch.
Went here to return a tv, they said they couldn’t because it would mess with there revenue. First off, I don’t believe it’s my problem to which store loses revenue for a tv return well within my return period. Poor customer service and no knowledge of the system. Will not be returning here, and hope they fix the issue. Now I have to drive 45 minutes to return the tv. Thanks Best Buy!

The people who work on the floors where attentive, I was shopping for a 2in1 laptop, an area was disorganized with no descriptions, nor prices. I will returned soon to find out if that was reorganized. Floor people need to be quick responsive to follow up getting the right agent if they are not skilled in that product. I decided on my own, what to buy, my check out was amazing and the employee in charge had answers for all my questions that kept my evaluation to 4 stars, but this employee deserved 5 stars. Thank you!!

Wow. This is why you lose business. There were 4 workers at the door with a rope to “guard the door.” One worker asked me if I needed any help and I replied I was just going to look at laptops. She replied, “Well if you do need help, we have no staff in the store so you’ll have to come back up here and ask.” I mean, are you kidding me? They were all just standing there doing nothing. When I went back to the laptops I heard one guy saying they were all sold out. Good luck. I’ll be surprised if they survive this economic depression.

Ive always had some sort of difficulty at this location. Theyve been good on handling returns that other store have not allowed. (Which is obnoxious for the company overall.) This past visit was very poor and extremely time consuming due to poor staffing and what appeared to be laziness.I came in to pick up an online order and I observed 6 uniformed employees between the customer service desk and the cashiers. 4 individuals at customer service handling 2 customers. I understand that sometimes issues may need to be escalated to a supervisor but that supervisor should also be aware of the 4 people waiting for store pickup without an employee attending the counter.I also observed several employees walk to the front, observe the line and then walk away. No attempt was made to notify a manager or supervisor that there were so many people waiting without assistance.After almost a 10 minute wait the cashiers cleared out their line and were able to assist. Once I had an employee assist I had my merchandise in hand within 30 seconds and left the store in less than 90 seconds.A manager has access to the security cameras if they were in the office, they also have the ability to locate a staff member to at least acknowledge the wait and inform the individuals waiting in line that the wait is known and someone will assist momentarily. Not one employee made an effort to assist until they were done, not one manager was seen in over 10 minutes.Schedule an extra person to always manage store pickup and when their not busy they can address the filthy register counters and straighten the merchandise. I will never use the Algonquin store after this experience and instead use the Crystal Lake location where I have spoken to the manager who is appalled at the disorganization stated.
Ordered online for pick up with no issues and got a message that I would need to call the store for install. Totally fine with that. Called multiple times and got no where kept hearing scheduling is down probably due to black Friday and to keep trying. Tried again someone says yes its down but wont get installed until January. JANUARY!!!!! 2 months from now to be exact. Was told there is only one installer for 3 stores and he is booked until January. Stores cant meet demand of customers. I am now going to spend a bit more to get it done somewhere else. No wonder they say to call to schedule. Not going to purchase from Best Buy again and now have to drive to store to pick it up and walk over to customer service to return. Waste of time and gas.
This place has the WORST small business support. I sent my employee/nephew to pickup a needed laptop due to an unexpected disaster in the work place. Despite authorizing my nephew to pick up our device, he was not allowed to pick up the device. I cancelled the computer sale and gave it to Amazon. If Best Buy has any hope of competing in the market place, they need to consider the needs of small business. Creating more work and hassle for small business means NO SALE.
No inventory. I was shocked that they had very few TVs in stock. Superbowl is coming up, and often times people upgrade their TVs. Very disappointing. Management needs to get on top of this.

I just had been treated horribly. The store have sign to wait in a car to pick up your item. Since I wasn’t picking up anything and just wanted to know what computers they have in stock I parked my car and walked up. I was keeping my distance due to the virus. The person I asked for help was helping a costumer in a vehicle that come there before me. So he told me to wait. He should have called somebody else to help me but ok I waited. So after that car he took another customer in another car. While all his coworkers was helping cars that come after me. After 20minutes I was really cold and started asking if someone will actually give me information. They said they have to help line of cars first. While 4 workers knew I was waiting nobody told me to come with car. They all said to wait. And new cars keep coming. And nobody helped me. What if I don’t have a car in this store I’m not a customer? Really disappointed, I called to speak to a manager but he had an attitude and was no help. Will never buy anything from this store.
