We love Manchester Bagel! My boyfriend is from New Jersey and is VERY picky about bagels, but this place lives up to his high standards. Plus, even when theyre busy on the weekend theyre still speedy to get your order out.

I have ordered from this place a few times and whenever I asked for then to toast or double toast my bagel they never do it. I have asked them at the counter right when they finish my order whether they have done it or not and they lie straight to my face about having toasted it. I’m tired of my order never being right and won’t be coming back here again. I gave them one star but it really should be zero.

Everything is great about this place. I only wish they would bring back banana nut bagels, those were the best, but they still have lots of great bagels.

I never thought I would be making this review to this place. Since I was very little Ive been coming here to get my breakfast sandwhich. This morning my mom and I decided to get two blueberry bagel original classics with sausage but when we opened our bag it was raisin instead of blueberry. Of course as any human being I was annoyed. So I called them to reclaim that they made mistake on my order and they told me to come in and they would give me a new one. I went driving to Manchester bagel even though I was already late for work and walked in and told them Im here for a new order. Not even 5 seconds later I have the manager yelling at me. WHERE IS THE OTHER SANDWICH YOU ONLY HAVE THE ONE I was in shock not even letting me speak first I was trying to explain I was here to get MY ONE sandwich. Instead the Manager (Mike the son of the family business) kept listening to his worker instead of focusing on the conversation with me which was suppose to be the most important thing. While I was trying to explain. This manager cursed at me and started a big scene in-front of everyone. He in the end didnt consider my feelings and made me cry in front of everyone. Over a sandwhich! That they messed up in the first place! Instead of focusing on the fact Ive been a loyal customer for so long they treat me like this which was GARBAGE. I always had the wife and husband attend me but this son they have (the manger now) was the most disrespectful person ever! In the end he was trying to blame me for everything when I was just trying to switch my sand which. They made me feel like I was trying to steal from them saying I just wanted to trade the one sandwhich for two new ones. They lost loyal customer who have been coming here for YEARS! And keep in mind I was always here buying from them during pandemic.

They have pork roll (Taylor ham)!!!!! I quite literally jump for joy when places have this in general, and Manchester Bagel is so good, it makes it all the better. Really great/friendly people, delicious bagels and bakery items, and really efficient. Highly recommend!!

Bagels were good. I had the everything bagel. She had the bagel breakfast sandwich. No dine-in. Social distancing was observed. Food came out fast. Service was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a fairly popular place on a Sunday morning; however, we had no trouble ordering or getting our food quickly. It was very tasty, except I think the cheese could be a bit better. Overall the quality of yhe food was good.

I have been going to Manchester Bagels for 25 plus years. So long I’m pretty sure that it used to be called something different. I love everything there. Their have incredible fresh squeezed orange juice and their bakery items are good too. But the best are the bagels. All the bagels are great but my absolute favorite is a jalapeño bagel w egg and cheese If they are out of the jalapeño bagels I love the salt and the everything bagels too. They have many different cream cheeses that they make and those are all great also. I have had sandwiches ( on a bagel of course) and those are good too. All in all, you can not go wrong with anything here. I know a lot of people love the coffee, it’s just ok to me. I’ve been known to get my food from there and then walk a few doors down to go to the donut shop for my coffee. Lol. But I highly recommend Manchester Bagel. The owners and all the staff are nice and it is clean inside. Enjoy!!!!!!

My sandwich was delicious. BUT I wish the everything bagel had a little more topping on it. It could have used a little more salt too. The contents of the sandwich really shined through and boosted it back to 4 though. I would have hoped a bagel shop would the bagel itself be the star though.

Great local bagel shop with a wide variety of bagels available. Hot, fresh coffee and a egg and cheese sandwich made a great breakfast. We tried the thin bagels with egg and cheese and really enjoyed them. I was a bit surprised that they used American cheese, but the sandwich was still tasty.

They don’t Toast a bagel-they just heat it up. I gave them 3 different visits to get one toasted-no joy. They could put a little more effort into cleaning tables during busy hours.

The DC area is not much known for good bagels so we were excited to try this place out.Bagels: We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and then a half dozen bagels to go. Delicious bagels were chewy and tasty (plain and everything were our sandwich choices)! The egg and sausage were also nice and hot. We were super pleased and excited to pop those extra bagels in the freezer at home for quick weekday breakfasts.Service: This is where Id dock Manchester their star. The ordering/payment system (two separate lines forming) is not super clear first-timers trying to figure it out. The staff stared blankly at us and offered no direction. The other hiccup re: staff was when we asked for a small cup to pour milk from the large bottle we purchased for our toddler (spacey mama forget the sippy!) they balked and almost didnt. It was a weird vibe that I cannot explain.Bottom line: The bagels were good enough that I would definitely stop in the next time we are in the area. Dont expect overly warm and friendly service but if youre simply there for the food, its a great spot!

DC area has never really been a great place to get bagels. Most people around here seem content with the bagels from the freezer aisles of their closest grocery store. So, its great when you can find a place that has serviceable bagels ...aaaand that stays in business for more than just a couple years.Favorite bagel here is their jalapeño, even if its frequently sold out by the time I arrive.

I love their food, service, and speed. Typically I order a bacon egg & cheese bagel and it only takes a few minutes (3 is the longest I can remember) from the time I come in the door to the time I leave. Plus, there is a beautiful young lady that usually takes my order and hands me my food when done.

This bagel shop needs to learn how to use a separate knife and gloves when handling bagels.If someone orders a plain bagel, they do not want to taste onions or an everything bagel flavor on their plain or raisin bagel.Disgusting.

Manchester Bagel has become our favorite breakfast spot. Good food at good prices(egg and cheese bagels being our go to). Were always waited on immediately upon walking to the counter. Appears to be family run with a nice atmosphere and always very clean. I encourage anyone to visit.

Manchester is our familys go to bagel place. There is a large selection of items so there is something for everyone. The food and coffee is great and service is prompt. There is ample seating.

Really good local restaurant for both breakfast and lunch options. I live close by and come for bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches quite often. Good prices and I havent had a bad meal here. They also have a card that punches holes to get a free meal for every 6 I believe.

How hard is it to make 2 bagels that are toasted with cream cheese? First, they didnt toast the bagel, second, Ive never had less cream cheese on a bagel in my life. And I was the only customer when I walked in, so its not like it was busy. Very disappointed.

I LOVE this place! Have been coming here for lunch almost weekly now. Stumbled upon it while searching for lox bagels, and stuck to getting those for awhile since they were just so perfect. Now Im branching out to some of their other Bagel-based sandwiches, and I am just delighted by them. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. They also have good coffee options, which is a must for my caffeine addiction. Also, the people working are always attentive when I walk in, quick to get my order in/out, and all smiles the entire time. I literally just finished eating my lunch from here (Ham, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato on an Everything bagel, coleslaw, pickle, chips, coffee), and cant wait to go back again soon!

Their cream cheese is warm, the bagles often have lingering flavors on them due to poor sorting. Its very difficult to communicate with the employees as well. The quality of the food made me feel repulsed, and I am sad to say that.

Coming from a New Yorker visiting family in the area, the bagels from here puts some of the local bagel shops back home to shame. From their super cinnamon to banana nut bagels; just amazing and always fresh.
