They think its cute to tell you theyre open for propane refills, then when youre there a few minutes later their certified tech had just left. Couldnt of possibly told us he was leaving soon i guess.

Awesome guys at U-haul San pedro And Central..I literally drove to 3 places to get propane and all 3 told me they could Not fill my tank cause it was too old!! Had a stamp on it saying 1993. However I went to U-haul on central just east of san pedro and these guys were great!! They told me it didnt matter how old my tank was they would still fill it if I gave then an extra 20 but it needed to be in cash!! Good thing I had that..anyway I am so thankful for these guys it was well worth the little extra I paid ..Now I will sleep nice and warm Tonite yes I will definitely be coming back....

The service was quick, I was in and out picking and dropping off the truck. How they set up the no contact service is great! Just be sure to know the total number of miles you will need as they charge by mileage as well.

They claim to offer U-Haul TruckShare -- but its not accurate because you STILL must pick up the keys inside, in person. That defeats the entire purpose of TruckShare -- every other facility will allow you to retrieve your keys from a lock box outside. But Not U-Haul on Central. Otherwise, the trucks are clean and well-maintained and the location is easily accessible.

Although they advertise propane refills...I have tried 4 different days in the last month to get a refill...each time I am told no one is certified ...either hire someone to be certified ...or quit advertising that you refill propane...I’m done with them.... there isn’t a choice for zero stars....but that’s what they deserve!

So one day after I returned my truck, I got a phone call asking where my truck was...I told them I already returned it and they took care of it. Fine fine, whatever. Well, one month after I closed out my storage locker, I get a letter in the mail saying Im overdue for payment! I called corporate and they said its closed on their end and they dont know whats going on at the location. This happened twice to me so I think either they leave things open on purpose to get late fees from people who arent paying attention, or theyre negligent enough to not make a difference.But the location is good.

Got a storage unit 1st day in Albuquerque was there 1yr 8mths. Saw many people no 1 is perfect but i know i left straight. Not a bad place.

We rented the biggest truck for the best overall price. This location was one of the very few that had the big trucks. The truck worked well enough and we didnt have any issues. Managed to move our 3-bedroom house with minimal cost.

Had an appointment to install a third party hitch on my car and when I showed up the General Manager said. We dont install third party hitches and besides Im the only one working today until two. The reservation they gave clearly stated it was a THIRD PARTY HITCH installation. Talked with several customer service people - nothing. How is this company still in business?

Dont understand why they offered to refill propane cylinders but they never have anybody certified here they should probably just quit selling propane

Im a regular customer and this location has to worst customer services in town. They take a long time to check in or out customers. Not customer friendly at all!.

Ive been to this place for just about everything they offer, trucks, storage, and packing supplies. The storage units are clean and secure. UHaul trucks are not my favorite, I find other companies have newer fleets usually, but you cant match that low deck height. Their packing supplies arent cheap, but they have a lot of stuff.

If I could give negative stars I would. I specifically called two uhaul stores to ask about propane filling. Both stores said they had propane and could fill an RV. I drove to both locations, neither had operational tanks. 45 minutes later everything else is closed and we are back on the road in a storm with a 1/4 full propane tank. Hopefully tonight the storm isnt as bad tonight and we dont run out of propane. So frustrating! Boo U-Haul!

U-Haul - it means you haul it. I have had decent customer service. I dont expect others to carry my purchases. I am surprised at both of these reviews. U-Haul is a busy place - and just like a car rental - you need plan ahead and make a reservation. My only concern is that the trucks have looked somewhat beat up when Ive rented. However, the workers are just fine. Its not cadillac - its U-Haul. The prices are great! Ive never had a problem getting a reservation over the past 2 decades.

Its a great place to pick up a vehicle for in town. Location is Compact and tight and the staff is just okay. It took awhile to get my vehicle but I was able to secure it.

Renting moving equipment is no hassle, Matt is exceptional!However - we just rented a climate controlled storage unit and the Manager - Andres stated the system was in a switch over mode when asked why it was so hot in the storage area. His employee later told us the AC had been out of service for some time - when we went back with a 2nd load - it was almost 100 degrees inside!!We called the 800 customer service line and got the whatever attitude and were told to leave comments on the website. We cannot because we have a receipt number and not a contract number.So long U-Haul - you have lost customers for good on this very unprofessionally handled situation!

A discus utility lock was not included with my safe move truck rental which made it very easy for my rental to be broken into (they tried to steal the whole damn truck). All my 4 year old sons toys (including things that where meant to be kept and passed on where stolen. All my towels, cleaning supplies, his winter clothing (winters here). A bracelet and watch worn by my recently deceased mother (passed end of august). All my hygiene and cosmetics. (please inspect your vehicle for prior damage as well as check to make sure the lock is proper). Waiting for the police ended up making my move near impossible(like most I had to go to work). I had to put it off (keep the truck longer) Putting me 250.00 in debt. All due to the type of lock (they say they include a discus lock grrrr). Its negligence. And a huge loss on us as well as many others (after our move we where due to be handing toys out to the kids at joy junction).This is most likely why so many Uhauls have been broken into.

Simple and clean. I actually left my wallet in the van I returned and they found it, kept it for me, and returned it when I came back. The van I used was clean and new, and the return was quick and easy.

Terrible service. Was quoted a week for a trailer hitch to get in for a client of mine, and 3 weeks later has not arrived. The employees do not answer the phone during business hours, and I get directed to a customer service line that says they will push a message through. Never got a call back. This place is terrible and I will never send business their way again.

They were suppose to put a hitch on our truck. When we came to pick it up all the employees were sitting outside smoking. Then the manager left and was gone for 20+ min to get the part they needed. We waited for over an hour and a half. Never did they apologize. I have a 20 dollar bill in my center console that I put there the night we left it, it was missing when I took the car home. Horrible experience, never will go back. Super disappointed in Uhaul

This place sucks. I went in to have a trailer brake installed. I was quoted $140, when I picked up the truck they charged me $240. The not so friendly manager said he could drop the price to $196. Wow what a deal, $50 more then what I was quoted. I know which u haul I wont be using, and if any one asks me about u haul, I definitely wont refer this shady ass one.

I called asking for assistance. The person answering the phone just said Central UHAUL; I simply asked: Who am I speaking to? This person sarcastically said Central UHAUL again, and hung up on me. I tried calling again and this person would not answer the phone. My wife and I decided to take our business elsewhere. ***BTW discovered the name of the employee is Mark.***

Rented a 10×10 unit and told them I would be back in a few days to put my stuff away. When I returned to put my things away, my card to enter the building was turned off and they rented my unit out to someone else. Also I paid cash, so luckily I saved my receipts because they also deleted me out of there computers so they had no record of my transaction.. i am still waiting for my refund as well. Very untrustworthy business

Pretty bad customer service. Also, they didn’t have what I reserved. I reserved a 17’ with a half dozen furniture pads. They gave me a 15’ with no pads. Not sure what the point of reserving something 5 days in advance is when you don’t get what you reserved

Worst of the worst, two locations visited both the the same horrible service. This is a business that needs to be gutted and new hires made. Just amazing.....

I reserved a 26 foot uhaul forJune 9 for pick up on june 30 at 9am to move and they rented it to some one else and it wouldnt be available until 1:45pm thats not rite i really needed the truck for the time specified when I reserved

This is the 2nd time I have gone into this Uhaul, both times was to buy boxes to move. The first time, the workers were kinda busy, but could have asked to help and did not ask to help. I drug out 40 bulky boxes and stuffed them in my car, it was hard, but I did it. The 2nd time was yesterday. I went in, there was ONE guy behind the counter, NO OTHER CUSTOMERS, and I bought over $80 worth of stuff this time. I paid, and then started to gather the items, clearly needing to come back and get the bulky boxes. The guy stood behind the counter, did not say thank you, was not very talkative and did not offer to help. I gathered the first items and as I walked out, said, I guess I will come back for these since I cant carry everything together. So I walked out, and started stuffing the items in hand, and then the guy did amazingly bring out the bulky boxes. I am not saying he HAD to offer, I mean I did just spend a lot of $$ there and clearly needed help, but it was the fact that he didnt offer, wasnt busy and honestly, seemed lazy. I like this store because of the location and the stock of ready to buy items, but I will not be back because their customer service could use some help....
