Fantastic store staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and polite. Sometimes theyre a little higher than the big box stores but its worth it for the service that you get.And they also have fasteners and other hard to find items that you just cant find at The Big box store.. absolutely love this store I have 35 years in construction

Management is awesome! We appreciate James (manager) and Daniel (assistant manager) for their responsiveness, honesty, and helpfulness always. James always takes special orders and communicates with us on order status regularly. He is honest about finding the best price on special orders. If they dont have something you are looking for in the store, James will find it for you. We cant tell you how pleased we are with the way the store is run. The kindness and respectfulness is second to none.

Customer Service has declined so badly at this place I dont think I want to shop here anymore. Spent 15 minutes browsing for what I needed and was unable to locate it, could not find an employee anywhere on the floor and proceeded to the service desk to ask for some assistance. At the window I was not greeted by anyone the lady (T) actually just looked at me and asked what? to which I replied I could use some help The look of utter disbelief that I actually had the audacity to request assistance from this helpful employee was even furthered by a gruff what aisle to which I replied I dont know what aisle but I was looking at the back of the store to which the response was an exasperated sigh followed up with some muttering into the radio customer needs assistance by the hinges then she turned away from me and couldnt be bothered to assist me further. I waited 12 minutes by the hinges to no avail, no employee came no assistance, walked back over to the service desk and there was no one at the window. Frustrated I set my stuff down and proceeded to leave the store where there were 3 employees standing around the registers no customers in line to pay no sense of hurrying the store was not busy. Disgusted I proceeded to leave as I was headed out the door the individual at the closest register half heartedly acknowledged my presence welcoming me into the store... Been shopping here for almost a decade now and have never been treated so poorly by anyone let alone ignored by every individual at the store.

Always like coming here. Really feels like the corner hardware store we used to go to back in the day.. Also, nice that theyre carrying some of the home electronics stuff I used to go to Radio Shack to get.

This place is further away than Lowes, but worth the drive. The staff is more helpful and more available. They almost always have what I need without the long lines.

I have shopped here several times and have always been satisfied, but today proved why the employees here are top notch.I rented a UHaul trailer and this store is apparently a big exchange for that company, so I was confident this would be a good experience. An employee named John assisted me. He was thorough but fast and extremely helpful. While he hooked up the trailer another customer returned a pick-up and started, without promoting, talking condescendingly about how he was ready to be harassed by the return process. John was calm and friendly despite the customers bad attitude. Once my business was finished I thanked him and wished him the best in dealing with the other guy. Even though I was joking about that guys lousy attitude John never got upset or displayed any annoyance, he was extremely professional.Excellent experience!

When 2 bathrooms dont work at a 100 customer a day hardware store, either the employees dont want to clean them or the corporation doesnt care about service,

Offers a wide variety if items and easier to get in and out versus big box home good stores. It is my go to when I need a small quantity, such as 1-4, nuts, bolts and screws. Their selection of Lodge products is nice and they have good selection of gardening supplies including vegetable plants. On a recent trip I appreciated their stock of sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer.

Clean & bright. Friendly, helpful employees as always. Plus lots of great finds and gift ideas.

Every employee I’ve met or contacted by phone has gone out of their way to be helpful. In pre-Covid times, I loved shopping at this store because it has a wide selection of things for my home, and employees onsite were as helpful as those manning the phones.

They stock wide variety home and shop items but pricier than Lowes or home depot.

I reserved a truck in advance only to show up on moving day and be told nothing was available. The manager of True Value was extremely rude. A simple call to let me know would have saved me valuable time. Moving day and NO TRUCK Uhaul has lost a customer. True value is over priced anyway! INCOMPETENT

Many times I can find items there that I cant find at the big box stores and if they dont have it in many cases they can order it for you.On top of that you can find help a lot easier than the box stores. Check out is easy and if it gets busy the cashier will call someone to help out in a jiffy.Youll find prices equal to the big guys most of the time. Even if you dont--the convince will more than make up for it.

They will not cut a key not purchase at this store. I guess they dont like to make money.My Keys were FORD OEM equipment not some made in china unknown manufacture. If the employees cant confidently and reliably cut a key maybe you shouldnt sell and cut keys. Lowes cut the keys with no problems and the cut keys work great.

Theyre always around and can answer anything. Ive bought a lot here and left feeling great every time. Their 20% off everything you can fit in a bag sale is awesome.

An excellent hardware store.I will usually find what I need here, saving me from extra miles to a big box store where I often have to purchase connectors, etc in larger packaged quantities than I need.I needed a replacement air filter for my furnace to help with allergies. It was almost $4.00 less than a big store, and took me half the time to purchase it and get back home.

Your basic fully stocked and fully staffed hardware store. My first stop when I need actual hardware....Last time I went, I bought extra-fine pitched M12 hex bolts...try finding those at the big box stores! Not only that, I bought the two bolts and two nuts I actually needed instead of a package of 5 bolts and another of 4 nuts.

After being treated poorly and blown off at lowes in the paint dept. we decided to try Ace True Value on Eubank.Glad we did.The very helpful staff walked me through my questions without attitude, and gave me tips on my project. So much more helpful and sincere than the big stores.This place will be my first stop for home improvement from now on.

I went in needing advice and a few parts. The staff offered both. I left with exactly the parts I needed without having to buy a whole package with them and with the knowledge I needed. This is exactly why the huge box hardware stores will never replace the local hardware store.

They have a more varied selection of products, and some of their products are cheaper than Home Depot and Lowes -- some are more expensive.Every one is very nice and will help you if you have questions or need to find something.They have great discounts and sales.

ACE hardware is a life saver for me. I do a lot of custom work on vehicles and commonly need hard-to-find fasteners and hardware. They have never let me down, and always make me wonder why I waste my time at Lowes or HD. The employees are always helpful and courteous, and most importantly, knowledgeable. They can quickly answer your questions and help you find what you need. I like that the store is small and easy to navigate, but still has everything the big box stores have, and more. If you need something specific or hard to find, try ACE first.
