If you know what you want you can get it very reasonably priced. Mostly for solid non power tool purchases. Powertools have been less than magnificent in durability, performance, and battery quality. Clamps, hammers,and the like, are a good value for the money.

I love harbor freight!!! They have great stuff for anything you need and even stuff you would never know you needed till you see it. Great customer service, sales, and coupons all the time.

Theres no way to know what they have in stock in a store even if you check online five minutes before walking in the door. Its a little like a treasure hunt and it might be nice if someone asked if I needed to find something specific or anything other than avoiding eye contact except if I get close to the checkout counter, then somehow I am magically visible and corporeal.

Great in-store selection of Icon tools & tool boxes with accessories on site! Staff were very helpful and friendly, which I always appreciate! Harbor Freight has really stepped up its game in the Mechanics tools department, and prices are way below their competitors. If anything breaks, most have a minimum of 90 days free returns or extended warranties at the check out counter!

Decent tools not as good quality as matco or cornwell but if you need a cheap tool to get the job done this is the place to stop by.

Go hear if you want to wait in line or play hide and seek. There are about 6 employees here hiding from customers and only one check out open, no matter how long the line is. Good for me, Im a great seeker. 😉

Cheap and always friendly

Degrading experience with a defective item exchange. Compressor made bad sounds and filled very slowly. The manager stopped the cashier mid-transaction to tell me that I dont know how an air compressor works. As a mechanic of 25 years I felt like I shouldve just gone to Amazon. And I purchased the extended warranty which they told me they wouldnt honor because I did the exchange after 3 days of ownership. So topping off 2 bicycle tires with a fully aired up compressor voids your warranty? WowMake sure you buy with credit so you can dispute it later.Replacement works much better but exchanges or returns at this place, at any location, should be avoided. Expect disrespect and cross your fingers

They have tools for a good price. Better than Auto Zone.

I just go for 1 thing but I am like a kid in a toy store and got to get a lot more than just the 1 item that I went for... And inexpensive too...

This is the best Harbor Freight store among three in ABQ. All the crews are super nice and kind and their stock information on the website is always correct.

Always have what I come in for, and if I cant locate it myself the staff is right there to point me in the right direction.

The place was very clean and very organized and the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. Every employee was wearing a mask and cleaning up after every transaction and they would sanitize their work station. great place to shop.

Definitely my favorite Harbor Freight store of all time they almost always have everything Im looking for but of course that doesnt mean it absolutely always does but no store is really perfect when it comes to inventory. But besides that workers here usually are pretty friendly I have almost had absolutely no issues with any of the employees ever whenever I come here I believe there was only one time that one of the employees seemed a bit rude because he seemed frustrated and angry that there was a line building up in his lane. Besides that I love this store

I was not a particular fan of the harbor freight tools that I visited the staff didnt know anything about their products they were kind of rude and they followed me around the store as if I were going to steal something I was not satisfied with my visit and Im sorry to say that I would not recommend.

They have some pretty good comparison reviews on their generators. We have 3 locations in Albuquerque and the closest one was out of stock on the model I wanted, but a quick trip across town and I got great service and a few price breaks!

This is absolutely my favorite stores. Someone is always willing 2 help, only problem is sometimes all employees are helping others. Kinda have 2 follow them through the store😀 but I dont mind doing that. It gives me more time 2 find other awesome deals.

No help in the store and the ones that were there were lost in their own worlds, a very kind man in line, ( that had been in the store waiting for help 45 minutes), helped me on his way out. Bad for business dont you think?

Awsome to get the chance to go to the store and see the actual deals and products.. its always fun to have a coupon catolog too but its even better if you get to see it in person. I couldnt believe what a great deal on moving blankets . They are so reasonable prices here and its not just for the guys ladies are welcome too. And they dont ignore you here either.

The main reason why I gave Harbor Freight on Menaul and Juan Tabo five stars is because availability, selection and pricing. The store is set out in an orderly fashion, the aisles are clean and neat, the employees are very personable, professional and efficient. They have military discounts and they have 65+ shopping times. There is plenty of parking, theres also handicapped parking and handicapped entrance in the aisles are wide enough its easy for Wheelchairs and Walkers to navigate.

Pretty okay place to pick up odds and ends in regards to tools. It’s a hit or miss with the customer service so hope for the best but expect the worst kind of situation. They have some good deals at times that you just can’t pass up. A lot of the tools have good warranty plans. Check em out!

Posted sign on door says closes at 8pm. I show up at 7:30 only to find the door locked. The lady less than 3 feet from the door completely ignored me. I wait for a couple of minutes when the store manager shows up and tells me they closed early due to covid hours. There is no posted signage saying what the covid hours are. Just the standard hours on the door. It wouldnt take but a few minutes to print out something.

Great place to pick up tools etc on the fly & to find bunch of things that you just cant live w/out that 10 minutes previously, you didnt even know existed.Wouldve been a 5, but my ongoing mantra about great employees make a great business continues to hold true.

Everyone is really nice and helpful plus the store is pretty dang clean and usually well-stocked (even during covid).

Employees at this location are very rude. I hate coming here, but sometimes the location is convenient...because cheap Chinese-made products are sometimes where its at.

Completely ridiculous customer service. Cashier didnt know where anything was. Only 1 employee on the floor besides the cashier. He was swamped with people needing help. I will never go back. One of the worst retail experiences Ive ever had! Wish I could give them negative stars!

Went there to get a tool but could not find it. I thought these were locked up but could only find help at the registers. They had 3 open but when it was my turn the cashier left and didn’t return. I got in a different line and the product picture on their website did not have the required item # so the cashier had to ask over their headphones. Apparently no one could hear so on the 2nd or 3rd request someone overheard her and bellows out that we don’t have them.I then tried to find this person of knowledge and he said to go look on the bottom of aisle 5. So i go down looking and only can find a large one. I was able to locate a helpful employee who when i asked knew exactly where they were “locked” up at and would go check for me. Nope the same guy, Mr. Bellows runs up and says nope we are out of them. Evidently he’s the manager because the other guy sheepishly looks back at me and suggests returning a different day (maybe when Mr Bellows is off)Sad day for Harbor Freight as it is normally a good place to shop but it he’s the new manager they will be losing trade fast.

If you purchase mechanical tools, be sure to purchase the extended warranty. I purchased the multi purpose battery operated tool. Used once, it never worked again. I was outside of the 90 day warranty so I was out of luck. If I had purchased the extended warranty I would have a new tool.

Great place. If you have coupons, you will save a lot. I highly suggest installing the harbor freight coupons to get discounts.All the lady staffs are very accommodating. Never had a problem dealing with the lady staffs.____________now for the ugly stuff:2 of their men staffs arent very accommodating at all.I had trouble looking for one item and I asked one of them and told me just look for it and I will be able to find the item if it is there. In the end, I went to a lady staff and she helped me.Then the lady cashier asked another man staff if the item Im asking is available and he told the cashier he is not helping her. Many people waiting on the line heard this. The lady cashier went out of the cash register to look for the item, while there are people on the line.Not sure what these 2 men are going through.

They have everything that you might need to fix things up around your houses you wouldnt go wrong with them.

Everything you need to work on cars, motorcycles, homes....at Great Prices. Im painting my home and needed another roll of blue painters edge tape. Bought one at major supplier, that same roll was about $1.50 less at harbor freight. Recommend to start their before going elsewhere.

Friendly, fast, helpful and economical! I ordered a large greenhouse, almost 300 pounds. It came early, and they helped load it! I saved huge by getting a Harbor Freight credit card and using a coupon! Thanks, for all the hard work!

Good place for reliable tools and other goodies to make your repairs or projects easier. Mass discounts, plenty to choose from and lifetime warranty on most tools. Staff is friendly and helpful and you will appreciate in your own experience. Its a zoo circus sometimes with very rude and disrespectful people so dont let them push you around. Would of gave 5 Stars if it wasnt for the long lines at cashiers post.

On my lunch hour I needed a tool I already own, but had forgotten so I stopped to reluctantly purchase another one for a single use. After waiting in line for quite a while I finally reached the register. Unfortunately I had forgotten my wallet in the car. So I pointed straight out the window in front of the door and said thats my car can you please give me 30 seconds? The cashier said sure! so I literally ran out the store into my car and made it back in 20 seconds or less to find that she had not waited for me like she said. Instead I was to get in the back of the line which was starting to span half of the store. I think this is piss poor customer service at best. Now I do not have the tool I require and no more time to try to get another. For this reason I will NOT be returning for business again at this harbor freight.
