Im very upset how my daughter was treated by the cashier. 1st mistake was her telling her to wait since she was on the phone talking away. 2nd was the cashier telling her theres the bag to bag it yourself! We shop here very often actually 2x a week. We love the variety of fresh meats and amazing sales. But this is absolutely ridiculous. Hire people who want to work and have customer service experience! Im very shocked this has happened here!

Dang the food in the deli is hot, fresh and very tasty!! Daily specials, Fresh tortillas and other fresh baked bread & Mexican pastries. You can also eat inside, with friendly counter service.

It has a lot more selections of produce & meat. It was very clean than 98th & center store. The ladys @ hot meal you were very helpful & nice.The cashier was not friendly but over all I will be back. This is the big one I see👀mmm👄

You go in its nice and clean, and you can actually tell the meat cutters how much meat you want from different cuts. They DO sell alcohol.. Fresh produce too.

Place has excellent meat cuts really fresh. I get my meat there. But its a regular grocery store like Albertsons. Its a Mexican store they have all items written in Spanish or English.Excellent place to shop. 5 star..

Always the best for meats. Unfortunately much of their fruit is bad, but veggies are a great price and very good! Terrific store, great music while one waits to pay. Theyve a shortage of check out people. It is a wonderful place!

Great place. We bought baby back riblettes today and they were fresh delicious and half the price they would have been any where else . Friendly atmosphere and wonderful customer service from the cashier. Great job guys.

If you want to go to little Mexico you could do it at El Mesquite Market... They have everything to make any kind of Latino dish...

We love El Mesquite Market.You can find product there that you cant find anywhere else. I talking about vegetables, spices, cutts of meat / marinated, or not marinated. Kitchen tool/ tortilla presses, mocajetes (mortar and pestle for grinding up chile and herbs).And if you cant find what you need. Then try out the AMAZING FOOD. Everything is awesome. Tacos, burrito, soups, plates.Do Yourself a favor and check this place out.

Wow.. went here trying to purchase groceries but was kicked out for trying to use a reusable grocery bag.. tried to leave it with management but was told to leave it outside?.. very rude staff .. will spend my money elsewhere. Also will actively tell anyone to avoid this place .

Decent selection and prices. The cashiers are usually quick and friendly. The resturaunt inside is inconsistent. Sometimes youll get amazing food for cheap, sometimes itll be mediocre and overpriced for what you get.

Very helpful staff! I dont know how to speak Spanish but they gave me exactly what I ordered from the meat department. Had a drink accident and they were so nice about cleaning it up.

Prices are high but they always run weekly specials on their meat.

Great Mexican style supermarket with a great selection of products. Real festive and colorful atmosphere as well. The hot food section, a little confusing for me, has really good food. The pastry section is also awesome. Plenty of parking at this location.

It was late at night and expected workers to be tired. Not the meat department and checkout people still had their smiles on. I Love that they separate your groceries out for you. All the cold goods are together etc.. its the small things that make a difference. :-)

I enjoyed going to this little shop. Great selection of Mexican candies, and new ones pop up every once in a while. Great selection of carne and assorted meats.

The people are nice, but the inventory is small. And there is a smaller store inside that only takes cash. So overall meh.

Theres a few reasons why I ❤️ The Mesquite, one the meat at the deli is very fresh you can have your meat cut to your perfection, if you want veggies they have with or without, flavorful!!! Also theres a eatery inside .... uummm Delicious Mexican food...

I called and a lady answered talking to me only Spanish and she actually got mad at me because i wasnt .able to talk to her in Spanish. I understand Spanish .but cant speak she told me .dont you know Spanish I said i understand it she said .call back when you speal Spanish .Pendeja and hung up.it really. This is one of my favorite places to get food. I love the lunch plate. I always get carne y mar ( surf and turf) with the frijoles y arroz (beans and rice). With corn tortillas, it is a bit of a carb overload. Th ere is a toppings station on the side with a lot of goodies. I stop by this place at least 2 times a month. Sometimes you get lucky and get a newbie running the register and pay $3 for a big lunch.
