My garage door opener stopped working. couldnt get it to go down and it made a humming sound when i tried to close it. i called several companies but this company was able to get Leroy out to check it the same day i had the problem. Leroy knew immediately what was wrong and unfortunately didnt have the part in his truck. he was able to get the part and fixed it. he also checked the whole unit and lubed it and it works perfectly now. Leroy was very personable and professional and when i call again for service i will request him. hes very trustworthy and thats important in this day and age!!!! the cost was extremely reasonable.

Our tech was wonderful. Customer service was amazing. My daughter had accidentally hit the runner and our door would not close. They were out promptly to give an estimate and do repairs. I was very pleased with how quickly this company responded to my call. A technician was at my house in less than 90 minutes. Fortunately he had the part needed to repair the problem and also tightened a bracket that I didnt notice was loose. I would definitely call this company again.

I would never again contact this agency anymore. we have scheduled repair tech service for today to repair the damage part. the tech come and just saw and did nothing not even touch anything still they charge us the service fee of 120$. dont ever schedule an appt with this agency i didn’t like the service and i warn you guys too.

Although the person who answered was very polite, the company was clearly structured to collect fees rather than help customers. I explained that I just moved into the house, and I needed to pair a remote to a garage door opener, and that I was interested in a code box outside our garage. She offered to send some one out. After we scheduled a date and time, I asked how much it would be. A cost was not offered without my asking. I was told over $100 to come out and $30 for each 15 minutes and then the cost of parts would be $69 at a minimum. I was never offered the option of technical support until the end of a 10 minute phone call. She refused to estimate the time it would take to do both jobs. All the equipment in the house was from overhead door. In the end I used YouTube, it took me 5 minutes, and a total cost of $30 from Amazon. I felt my interaction was structured to collect fees rather than help with my issues lacking an instruction book.

Tech came in and repaired my broken spring in a very timely manner. Arrived on time with a mask on, was pleasant, explained what needed to be done and did clean work. Cameron came out and gave me thorough quote on having my old, very dented garage door replaced with a simple, insulated door. It was an unusual size, so parts had to be ordered and did take some weeks to come in. The new door was recently installed and it is super nice. The installation required a second visit from another technician and Cameron took care of facilitating that for me too. I am very pleased with the end-product!!! The Overhead Door Team is great! They treat you like a long time client even if youre calling for the first time. We had a simple problem there was no way we could fix it ourselves. The Overhead folks not only fixed it in less than 30 minutes, but helped us get ahead of that same problem on our other door in the same amount of time. Great Job!!

This business is out to make money. They have a 90 day warranty on replaced parts only - in my situation they didn’t replace spring due to it being “fine” yet they tightened it now 60 days later it’s broken and they won’t replace or fix since they claim they didn’t break it. No discount either - such a money grab business. Do yourself a favor and use any other company, even if you have to wait an extra day or two. Avoid overhead door

They came out same day when other companies either didnt return our calls or had a 3 day wait for appointments which doesnt help when your car is stuck inside the garage. Very pleased with service and knowledgeable suggestions about repairs.

A bunch of great people. They helped me with a DYI repair. Olivia in the office was awesome. The techs in the back knew thier business. I purchased new torsion springs and wires. Other employees were super nice in the office too, I spoke with them while I waited for my parts to be brought up.

The company was swift to schedule and even though when the technician arrived they did not have the right spring available, he was able to do a partial fix which allows us to open and close the garage. Very thankful and sure hope that the springs come in soon.

Overall, my experience with overhead door was positive. The repair was completed efficiently and my door now works beautifully- scheduling turned into a bit of a snarl though. I originally schedule an appointment for a Tuesday and got a call on Monday that the team was on their way. Unfortunately they did not have all the necessary parts on their truck and I had to schedule and then reschedule a second service call.

I had purchased a new garage door and there were two issues with installation. One issue was corrected and the other issue was just a band-aid fix. The strut/ubar that runs along the inside of the door was bent in two areas. All they did was hammer it back in place. Doesnt look good. I figured they wouldve brought a new part considering I paid for a new door. Not very professional. I wouldve given 5 stars if issue was taken care of properly. Techs shouldve pointed out issues instead of waiting for me to find them.

The remote mounted outside failed. Overhead Door came within hours and replaced the remote. I’m a happy customer!

Immensely unprofessional, If I could give them negative stars I would. They DO NOT have 24/7 service they have a 24/7 scheduling service. This was the most unprofessional experience ever. I called for an emergency service and they informed me they do not service on the weekend and they could book me a consultation on the following Monday. With my car trapped in the garage I didnt have much choice so I agreed but I informed them I would like to know what garage openers the offer because I believe mine was done for and they said they noted it. I also informed them I would be free all day except from 9-11 so they made my appointment for 6 pm. At 8:55 a.m. the person called saying they were on their way and I informed them I would not be able to answer the door at that time and asked if we could please meet some time after 11 and they agreed. After not hearing from them I called 4 separate times for updates and got different answers each time. Finally I spoke to someone who said they would email me the opener options so I can start deciding so when they came down we could book an installation, but they never did. I waited until 7:30 p.m. and no one ever came... I wasted a whole day and missed work for absolutely nothing... Im very disappointed and upset.

I gave Overhead door a 5 star rating. They were prompt, professional and had the parts in stock. I am very satisfied with the repair of my broken garage spring.

Management is trash and definitely dont care about their employees or customers. There are other overhead door companies in Albuquerque that actually do care about your business. Highly recommend the others over this one.

If you know what you want, their prices are great. If you want to understand the options of different products, their techs are not that knowledgeable. He couldn’t even identify the motion detector on the wall unit.

When your piwer goes out for a while. Then when you go to open the garage door and you hear a big pop. You think oh great. The only thing I can say that was not so good was this happend in the morning and we called. They said same day was emergency price almost triple of what it was. But well worth the wait. The window was 4 hours. But the service man was the most curtious, professional, polite, and very respectful. He is 110% the reason why Im giving all 5. Thank you Leo for helping us the way you did. When we had a rainstorm the lightning took out our power and shot our garage circuit so by the time we needed to leave our house the garage wouldnt work. I called over to Overhead to see how soon I could get an appointment to my surprise they set me up for the next day and once they guy came over he replaced some parts and fixed our garage within 45 minutes- 1 hour. Would recommend them again in the future. My husband was really impressed with how quickly it got done and we couldnt be more happy with the outcome.

This company came and fixed our door, but they did not come with in the time frame we were told and then they were not very kind to our workers on the phone. They also charged us almost $100 more than we were quoted on the phone. They told us after the fact that this was because the started charging time when the driver left the store (not when they got here and started working) as well as “truck fees” and other charges that were not discussed. We asked several times on the phone how it would be charged so for that to go up by $100 after the work was done was not cool. I also spoke with a manager and he did not help us.

Even though they were running a little bit behind, the communication from Tiffanie was great. We had the main spring snap on our garage door in the evening recently. We called and made an after hours appointment since our car was trapped in the garage. The cost was clearly explained to us. The technician arrived quickly and had the door repaired in a short amount of time. He was fast, polite, and very helpful.

When I called for an appointment they had one available that afternoon. We needed to be able to get into our garage soon and it was Friday. The young man worked quickly and efficiently. He did a good job and we didn’t have to wAit to get an Appointment. Overhead door had put in our new opener a few years ago. So we trust them!

I’ve had satisfactory dealings with Overhead Doors in two other cities. Now I can add Overhead Doors of Albuquerque to the list. It was supposed to be a checkin to add a few features on a system that was installed by them some time before we purchased this house in November. However the technician checked the system made some modifications installed a keypad and departed within an hour having completed everything that I requested.

We recently had a spring break on our garage. We immediately called overhead door they had somebody to us two days after the phone call which was great because it broke over the weekend. It wasn’t urgent as we didn’t have a vehicle stuck in the garage or anything and we let them know that. The tech that came out was really awesome. He told us a cost right up front to replace the spring and fix the door for us as well as took a look at the other garage door just to make sure it was working properly. He even oiled and grease that garage door opener that he wasn’t working on as a courtesy. I would highly recommend them.

Everything as repaired for a price in the 300 .00 to 400. Range . The sensors on our door opener werent working properly. I called Overhead Door (they installed our door a few years ago) and they promptly sent a tech out to check it out. Tony and Richard had to replace my broken torque spring, and completely replaced it with a new external spring, and all the required hardware and accessories in about an hour. I had made an appointment for Wednesday, August 5th from 4-8 pm. They didn’t show. However, the appointment was rescheduled for the following morning at 8 am. The repairman was prompt. He apologized profusely for failing to show. He wasn’t informed of the appointment; and, was out of town on another call.He was able to diagnose the problem with the gate in no time. He waived the trip charge and service fee because of the mix up.He also looked at our garage door and was able to tell us what the problem is with it, at no charge.I will definitely call them for all future door/gate service.
