I scheduled a Moderna booster through the NM State Covid Registration website and showed up a few minutes before my appointment. The pharmacist Alexa Gorwoda though refused to give me a Moderna booster because I had originally received the Pfizer vaccine. There are a number of quite serious problems with this, but I will focus on just three: 1) It is a preposterous level of hubris to contravene the clear guidance on vaccines during a deadly pandemic from both the state and federal governments, both of which support and endorse mixing and matching vaccines. 2) In the case of individuals who originally had the J&J such refusal to mix and match could literally be lethal as the antibody levels created from an alternate booster versus the J&J are massively higher (and doubly so for Moderna vs Pfizer), so in refusing to mix and match Alexa is putting her patients in serious harms way, potentially even killing some of them. 3) By going against clear uniform state and federal guidance Alexa is placing both herself and Walmart in serious ethical and legal jeopardy.I wanted the Moderna booster because all studies show it to be more effective and have longer lasting high levels of anti-bodies. The same studies and data that NMDOH, the CDC, NIH, etc have all seen and seriously considered before supporting mixing and matching.

I have been using this Pharmacy for years. Staff is always friendly. They always keep you informed about your medicine.

I scheduled a Flu Shot and reported to the Walmart on Carlisle Albuquerque New Mexico. I had to wait in line and so I was a little cranky, but once I got inside an went the the pharmacy- the crankiness disappeared. The staff were so warm and nice and so very professional. I was treated like a Queen. I really appreciate the supreme service I received at this Walmart Pharmacy. Thank you!

I have used this pharmacy exclusively for about ten years. Overall its been fine but in the last year or so they have made some changes that really make the whole process much more convenient and less time consuming. If you request they will text you when it is time to fill each medication for which you have a prescription on file, and when you text back, they will fill it and text you when it is ready to pick up. This has saved me lots of phone calls and extra trips. I love it.Also, the particular staff that they have at the moment is very friendly and cordial.

Disappointing customer care! Had a Rx called in that was not covered by my insurance, which is very common with name brands. Instead of calling me or contacting the Dr as is usually what happens (I work with this) they waited till I was there to tell me. All this ended up being a computer mistake according to the pharmacist. Due to me changing jobs my insurance will be inactive for 30 days. I was advised by the pharmacist that I will have to pay 1,200 if I wanted the Rx during that time. I explained my frustration and what should have happened and she agreed but simply gave me a shoulder shrug and a smile. I had no choice but to speak to the pharmacist because the young man that was also working walked away from me when I asked a question. He refused to speak and just pointed at the card machine motioning me to pay for the Rx that I was able to pick up. I did speak to a store manager regarding the issue and he was very apologetic which I appreciate. I will continue to follow up with management to have this resolved in hopes that my Rx will be taken care of due to their lack of customer service and their computer issue that left me in a bad position. If this was addressed several hours prior I would have been able to get it taken care of. Left very disappointed from a store I shop at weekly if not more.

I needed prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy in fritch tx. I called back 4 or 5 hours later to check on the prescriptions. I was told the pharmacist called but the line was busy. The girl asked if she should try to call again. Im sorry but that is a lame work ethic. What would be the best coarse of action? Of course call back you freaking jello head. Peoples lives and health depend on your actions. Dont be irresponsible!

They told me it would take about five minutes for my perscription to be ready. They told me they would call my name. I then waited 30 minutes and they never called out my name. I got in the back of line and waited to get my medication. Not a big deal but they seemed disorganized.

Walgreens ! Not Wal-Mart.. Menaul & CarlisleObese security guard followed my every step. She made several attempts to intimidate me.I went to pick up my prescriptions.Usually purchase other items, but I felt threatened. I didnt feel safe.I will never return to that location.She dresses like a man, her hair is cut like a man, acts tuff like a man.Is actually a poor excuse of a human.She laughed & told a Walgreens employee bragging how she harrassed & intimidated a senior citizen.He laughed..Will they be laughing when store closes for lack of customers ?

This is the slowest most inattentive pharmacy on the planet. Ive filled here on multiple occasions and am now convinced that it is not a sometimes thing but a constant, persistent situation. Ive dropped off my prescription and told to wait 30 min upon returning they told me they didnt have it instead of just telling me right away. They take more than an hour every time they have told me to wait in store. They stand in the back, Im sure filling prescriptions but they could at least say Ill be right with you rather than ignore an ever growing line for 15 minutes

Visiting from Louisiana & was pleased with the one employee we asked for help. Bought ice cream and really could have used brown paper bag to keep cold. I am seeing more stores that dont offer this they want u to buy a bag. Dont we spend enough in Walmart? Front of store walking in was littered pretty badWe were stepping over garbage to walk inDid like that the arts, crafts, & sewing departments had a selection. Our Winnsboro, Louisiana Walmart is a joke compared to this one LOL pretty much any other Walmart
