I called Jane to ask an impossible request to have my wedding dress hemmed in a very short amount of time. My dress has an all lace overlay. Jane was so sweet to have me go to the shop right away so she could see what she could do to help me. She formulated a plan to hem my dress and did it ahead of schedule. She was so sympathetic to my plea! The workmanship is absolutely gorgeous!! I would have paid her more than 3 times what she charged me for this impossible task. I will not go anywhere else in Albuquerque for alterations. I cannot thank Jane enough!!!

Had a few gowns altered and a purse strap fixed for my daughters.They did a fantastic job. Top notch!!!

My wife and I have beed going to Taylor Rite for 25 years or more. We have watch their kids grow up there. From babies to college. We love this place. This is a family business that knows how to take care of their customers. From simple sewing repairs to complex and detailed alterations, you will not be disappointed!

I took 5 items in for alterations. 4 tee shirts to be shortened 2” each- she quoted us “$4 each for the simple hem”, and 1 dress shirt that needed the sleeves taken up which she quoted “$25”. I figured it would be around $50 with tax. When I picked my items up, THE SAME WOMAN charged me over $78! I reminded her of our verbal agreement & she had amnesia- stating “the only thing I do for $4 is sew on a button”... I told her, I only paid $10 for each tee shirt, why would I agree to pay $12 to have them hemmed? Buyer beware! They are dishonest & unprofessional. Get ALL verbal quotes in writing, better yet, don’t do business here.

Great service and final product. Dropped my blouse and pants off on Saturday and received it Monday.

The lady owner/ front desk person is so rude. And they price gouge. She smirks as she does it. I dont mind paying for good work but she treats you like your stupid. She really enjoys ripping you off of your hard earned money. Find somebody else.

Got an evening gown tailored here for height and waist because I am very petite, and once it was done it fit perfectly! There wasnt a long wait and the guy was very nice, dont forget to bring cash however, the last time I was there (a little while ago) they didnt accept cards.

Very quick and beautiful tailoring. I had a dress hemmed and it came out perfect! Now Im going back to get some jeans hemmed. I plan to start taking all my clothes that are too long there. Very happy with this place!

Would not recommend. They completely ruined a wrap dress I brought in to be altered by removing the front piece that wrapped around. When I came in for the fitting we agreed to take the dress in a little and also add a few stitches in the front just to bring the neckline up slightly. I’m not sure how or why the seamstress decided to then alter the entire dress, changing the style completely. By the end of it the neckline was a short v-neck, the wrap around piece was completely removed. It looked like a joke. They of course could not fix it and would not offer even a partial refund.

Ive been coming to Tailorite for about 5 years now. Since I have a slim build. Jane and Duc do a really good job at making sure my shirts fit snug. they listen and pay attention to detail. The great part about Tailorite is the fact that all the work is done in-house. They do not out source any of the tailoring or alteration work.Love your work- Michael

Great tailors can do many fix it jobs for your clothes.

I have so much trouble with pants fitting right and no matter where I buy them from, they never look right on me. Im fairly decent with a needle myself, but have not been able to make them look right, either. So I took a pair to Tailorite to see if they could help. What a dream! The best that pants have even looked on me! I will continue to take all of my pants to them for alterations from now on! Thanks so much!!!

My favorite jacket tore and I was worried that any fix would be extremely obvious, but I took it to Tailorite to see what they could do. When I got it back, you could hardly tell that there had been a fix, even looking for, let alone at a casual glance. Im so glad I found you.

Dissappointed. Tried this place twice. The first time I took my moms wedding dress to be pressed. We got it back very wrinkly. Paid a pretty penny and we ended up ironing it ourselves. Second time we took in another dress to be hemmed and it came out crooked with the lining showing. $30.00 later, we are repairing the job ourselves. I will not try a third time.

Rude and unprofessional! I found small drops of blood on my wedding dress after it had been dry cleaned. I returned 30 minutes after picking my dress up, and they insisted it was my fault. I have never been treated so poorly at a place of business.

They changed the pricing on me and absolutely horrible customer service. Go someplace else ---these people dont appreciate their long time customers

The best tailor in ABQ.

I had 2 pairs of jeans to be shortened (hem stitch). After the 1st week when I went to pick up the pants (from Tailorite) I noticed the bottom line (on both) was oblique and not straight. They agreed to fix it. A week later is picking up time and I notice the actual stitch line was a squiggly line as if done by a drunk or at least very inexperienced person. Very disappointed, why does it take 2 weeks and why such a poor job? The people refused even to acknowledge their mistakes and pretended to conveniently not speak English very well. They even try to accuse me of lying!

Quick and professional. I have never had a problem here and have been a patron for 20 years.
