Went for an oil change and was in and out. The store manager, Jesus, and his employees were great! It’s a very cozy store because of the plants everywhere. I’ve never been to a mechanic shop with so many plants, I feel like they should all have a few plants... it made the shop feel more at home!

This location was very friendly and quick on the service too. In addition the waiting room was full of beautiful healthy plants that made the wait refreshing! Great atmosphere and the manager answered every question that I had. Recommend this location for its atmosphere and service!

I would like to thank Jesus for being professional with an amazing attitude. We had to wait for our oil change and the waiting room is so relaxing and calming with beautiful plants. I went in to get coils in stalled nothing else no align ment nothing just installation they say 900$$$ 2 hour job at max I did it myself wasnt hard at all thank Fuking God. Thats not it my car was driving wen I left it wen I pik it up it wasnt driving so now Im wondering did they loosen my gear link to my transmission because wen I got the car bak I was amazingly loose.🥴

This is a great place. I have been visiting them since 2018, but the current Manager, Jesus Hinojo, is highly professional and helpful. Anyhow, I know before he joined this location, things became little fishy here and the top administration received lot of complaints of this location. I myself made my mind not to visit them but since the current manager has joined the store, it has changed completely. I highly recommend you visit this store.

I love that they don’t have a high pressure sales tactic here. You ask for an oil change and that’s what you get. I stopped going to my Toyota dealer because they always seemed to come up with an extra $150 worth of stuff that they thought I needed to get done. And the two times I’ve been here the wait hasn’t been long at all.

Service was good and oil change services were in and out. However, asked for a quote in brakes. Literally was almost scammed in to paying almost 800 dollars for brakes. Had another mechanic look at the brakes and nothing was wrong with them. This service center tried to have me change pads and rotors. Seemed like a predatory scam because I (female) was by myself when I got the quote. I will not be using brake masters again. These techs should not be preying on individuals that they belive do not know any better in relation to car maintenance/repairs.

Employee was attentive & very helpful the day i got a free brake inspection.

Took my car in for brakes,alignment,and oil change. They told me a berring was bad so they changed it. I wrnt out of town right after Ive taken my car for service and the same barring they fixed,broke again. I had to take it to anothet mechanich to fix the same barring. When I took my car to brake masters, they told me they have checked both barrings and one was good and the other needed replacement. On my way back to Albuquerque,the other barring broke in the middle of the highway. Had to get my car towrd to town. I was off 800.00 they charge me at betake mastets plus I had to pay the towing of my vehicle. I now have to take my car in again to fix my other barring. I will never use brake masters again. Their work quality is extrmely poor.

They fixed the issue very well. My clutch is way smoother and the noise it gone. I give kudos to those who worked on my truck. They were nice and professional to a point. Although I had a warranty on the work that they did previously, they still made me pay for labor. I did not appreciate that. They should have covered it as the issue was related to the work they did the first time. I pretty much had no warranty when I should have.

I went to get an oil change no one was in the office so I sat down for about 5 minutes then went outside to ask if I can speak to someone about an oil change a man came in looked at me and said what do you need not a good morning how are you just a rude whatdo u need I told him an oil change and ask how long is the wait all he said was 2 so I ask 2 hours he said yes not impressed with his customer service so u went to jiffy lube makes me sad Ive unsatifbeen going to brake masters for years unsatisfied customer I will not use brake masters again

What great customer service, I want in for a oil change and misplaced my coupon, when the service person ask what brought me in to Brake Masters I told him I had a coupon for an oil change but misplaced it. He still honored the coupon price which saved me money. Also before working on my car they came and talked to me about what was going to be done and how much it will cost and asked if I still wanted it done, which was nice because other garages would just go ahead and work on your car and surprise you with how much it will cost afterwards

Had them replace two break disks and break pads. $790 dollars on breaks that still sqeeks. Took it back and still its sqeeking. That fat older man that works there says that it will go away.1 month later,still sweeks bad.

Had 3 empty stalls three guys standing around and they tell me theres a 2 hour wait just to change my oil.

I went in about two weeks ago for diagnosis of an overheating issue for my Dodge Magnum. They replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator and said everything was fixed and I was good to go after I waited two hours longer than their estimated time. The car had the exact same issue as soon as I drove away, and the check engine light came back on. Not only did they lie and allow me to drive away with the same issue, when I called they claimed it was running fine and this couldnt be happening. Maybe theyre fine for simple oil changes, but dont trust them with any repair work.

I will rate the customer service at five stars. The managers and technicians were great. My only objection whats not necessarily bad is I went in for an oil change. Ended up paying a little bit more. Not because of the oil change what of the inspection on my vehicle and it needed some light bulbs. It cost me more than I wanted. But that is one less thing I had to do myself. I would give these guys 4.5 stars out of five. Theyre almost the Bomb Pop. however I will be back there again. As I prefer them to the other drive up oil changing businesses that are in town

Id give this place negative stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE.I took my 2005 Subaru in, and while replacing my pads, machining two rotors and replacing the other two they managed to put a tear in the upholstery on the inside of my door and Im pretty positive they also test drove it without fully latching the hood.They also didnt clip in one of the pads, so shortly after I got home I had a brake pad fall off.Now its only been six months and my front brakes are already making a funny noise when I release them from a stop and the play in the pedal is already well outside the specifications in the manual.They also claimed that they couldnt replace my transmission fluid, but a look in the manual tells me they were probably either misinformed or full of crap about that too. There are three types recommended in the manual aside from the Subaru brand they (obviously) dont have at Brake Masters.I will ABSOLUTELY never be going back here. When I spend $700 getting that much brake work done I expect it to last a hell of a lot longer than six months.Update: Its now been a year and my brakes pulse slightly when Im slowing down at low speeds, I think the front brakes arent right...possibly because they didnt clip the pad in and the rotor is scratched (I dunno). They also just told my girlfriend she needed new rotors, but another more trustworthy mechanic told her they could easily take another turn and are fine as they are now. Now I wonder if I even needed the $500 in parts they charged me for new rotors.Theres also a suspicion that they killed the car of a friend of mine by not properly replacing her oil plug, so all her oil drained out on a road trip and the engine fried.Ill say again: Id give them negative stars if I could.

My car died when l was in the parking lot, and l dropped my keys in the overnight box. I got a call from Vince very early in the day. Courteous and gave me a good price on repairs. Upon repairs, a crack in the radiator was found and he called me to update me as soon as he found out. I decided to stop repairs and junk my car, and he did not charge me anything. I couldn’t ask for better customer service, professionalism, and respect. The entire local Brakemasters chain has earned my respect over the last 10 years, and l will now be taking my new car there to be serviced as well. Thank you for treating others the way you would want to be treated.

I was there to show them why there is a noise when I press the break. They told me that my rear break pad has only 10-15% life left. So, they recommend me to change the read break pad. After this, I went to a trip to Colorado for 5 days. And that sound get worse during the whole period of my trip. After coming back they said that my rear suspension struts are broken. As I am not sure about them, I verify that from another mechanics. And another found that my break pad is not attached perfectly and that is the reason for this noise.Be aware of them, their diagnosis is a junk.

I went in last week for an oil change and the manager was extremely helpful. Although they were a little busy when I was in, they made the process as smooth as possible. I will definitely be coming back soon!

I would not recommend this place to anybody. I came in to get an alignment done a simple $60 fee and it turned into a $600 fee at the dealership. They busted a sensor by turn the wheels too much. I was so disappointed I have to travel all the way to Texas and my tires were new and I really wanted to save them on this long trip, but I couldnt even keep my car in between the lines because it was so bad and it was a scary drive with my family in the car. When I brought it back to them to tell them the alignment was messed up they had no idea how to fix it and they had to send me to the dealership. Hyundai confirmed that they busted the sensor light by try to align the wheels. I will never go to Brake Masters again if they did not have the equipment they should have not tried in the first place. Then when I tried to get my money back I called he said yes I could get it back and when I went down there and he said he would have to confirmn it with the owner and he was not there. Then he calls me back to go back down there to get my money back. This was such a big hassle and I had to spend more money then expected and Christmas is around the corner. Never once did they say sorry they just acted like they had no idea what happened.

I give this shop a 5 star rating for the professional service I experienced during my brake repair visit. They gave me a FREE brake inspection and showed me that I had a leaking break caliper that I recently replaced back in Michigan as well as physically showing me that my pads were getting low. Cristian was a great help coordinating a warranty fulfillment with my Mechanic back in Michigan and the warranty company. I ended up getting a new caliper free of charge from his persistent effort with the warranty company... These guys are the real deal! I’m very impressed with the quality service and care I was given during my visit!On a side note they have the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a car repair shop. Very clean too 👍

Went in on a Saturday to get my air-conditioner fixed and left with my car thinking everything was OK, come Monday my air-conditioner was no longer working so I went In and they tried to claim that I had hit something causing a leak. I had not drove more than 20 miles over the weekend and did NOT hit anything. They wanted to charge me another 300 to fix it. My boyfriend then called on my behalf and spoke to the manager and the manager claimed that a rock must have fallen into the placement where the leak was happening causing issues with the air-conditioner..Two completely different stories given to us and after speaking to my boyfriend decided he would do it for free.Very disappointed that me and my boyfriend both expressed the same concerns but yet when he spoke to a male he decided it would be free. Pathetic manager obviously trying to taking advantage of people because they messed up and didn’t do a job correctly.

I can’t say enough about how great our experience with this break masters was. We were driving cross country and our check engine light came on and they the manager Juan and his staff took such good care of us and got us in so quickly. I highly recommend them!

They told me I needed all 4 brakes done, received a 2nd opinion, and I only needed the back two done. Wont stand to be taken advantage of as a female. Always get a 2nd opinion at a minimum!

Had the team at this location check my breaks & they unbolted my caliper & did not put the bolts back in place. This could’ve ended my life! I do NOT advise anyone to visit this shop!!!

Service was very poor. Usually it takes 3 months to change oil in my car. But, for my car to give me the sign to change oil it usually takes another 15 to 20 days AFTER the 3 months period.After I changed oil at their shop, my car gave me Change Oil Soon 24 days BEFORE the three months period!I had a feeling that they didnt let the entire bad oil come out or they didnt change the filter for me...they dont let you see what they are doing inside their shop..Their sticker says Ill get $5 off next time service...but I wont go their again. Not recommended for others as well.

Set a reservation, got there on time, they said they would work me in when they could but it would be a while. I asked what the point of setting a reservation was and they told me I would be first in line but from what I could tell I would be first in line if I had just showed up off the street. Went across the street to Jiffy Lube and they got me right in.

They are the last of the true American business.Thry truly care. Friendly, helpfull and straight up good people. Breaks were about 1/3 cheaper then P.BAnd you can see what there doing and they dont mind questions.Oops sorry I went there since and bad attitudes. Money is there business now. Like Wal-Mart now

I went in because my rear shock was bad and they quoted me $200 and when I came back they said $600. The manager would not admit they made a mistake and was rude. I then had them do the rear and align it as they undid all of the front labor and parts that they had done. Then the alignment was totally bad and I had to take it to Chets and Brake Masters would not refund my money for the alignment. Stay a away from them--Ive had problems with them in the past, too.

Worst Ever & a bunch of crooks. On my last visit a couple of months ago I noticed the manager had changed as well as all the staff. I had been a long time customer and trusted the work they did and even recommended them to friends & family. Now I wish I hadnt. My rear brakes were squealing a lot so I asked that they be checked. The mechanic who tested my vehicle drove out of the shop like he had just stolen it, jumped the curb, and floored it. I couldnt believe my eyes! I told the manager about it and that I was upset by it. But then came the real insult. The manager took me into the work area and began to point out all the problems. I asked what the repairs would run, I was given a print out for almost $1300. worth of repairs. This was a steep estimate, so I decided to take my vehicle to the dealer, the inspection was free and it would confirm the repairs. I didnt tell them about the Brake Masters estimate. When the inspection was done, I had them do the repair that was needed to my rear brakes at a whooping cost of $60. I showed them the estimate I had been given, and they apologized to me saying its business practices like these that give mechanics a bad rap. And that none of the repairs they listed were necessary. I will be talking to the AG about this fraud they tried to pull over on me.

These guys caught me on a bad day so they got my money but Id advise anybody to go somewhere else. Dishonest couldnt even man up to breaking my door handle after they got there money. Spineless slime balls.

I went in for an oil change and was looking up an online coupon to use, which I have done in the past at multiple locations in abq. Today, the SM did not want to take the online coupon. When I told him that I had used one there before with one of his employees, he responded that I would need to wait for that employee. Since when do employees have me authority than the manager?

I never ever write reviews. This place is messed up, they will steal from you. They will charge you way too much. I really wish I had read all these reviews before I went here because I messed up by going here. I had my truck worked on cost over $500 got it back now its worse I regret ever going here I really hope people read this and take their vehicle elsewhere. I read one of these reviews where it took 6 months for their breaks to start making noise mine started at 2 weeks. I cannot express how much I hate this place or what I want to do to that managers face.
