Fabulous car repair place. My check engine light came on while traveling across the country. Even though they were very busy, Art took the time to diagnose my problem. He then ordered the needed part and had the car repaired it in just a couple of hours. We were back on the road feeling good about our car. If I lived in ABQ this would be my go to car shop. My usual mechanics referred me to Seth, as the best Honda diagnostician in Albuquerque, when they couldnt determine the source of my Accords intermittent performance problem. Seth performed extensive diagnoses but could find no mechanical issues but did notice a potential intermittent ground issue. The car has worked without issue since he cleaned the grounds.The dogged search for the cause of my cars problem and thinking outside the box resolved the mystery of the intermittent performance.The charge was quite reasonable,. the service excellent and the personnel helpful and personable.I had submitted a CarFax review and apparently screwed up selecting the stars. My review should have been 5 Star as that is the accurate review.

I went in a couple weeks ago because I hit a box on the highway and my Chrysler was barely drivable. Art really helped me out. ABQ Quality Auto Service recently worked on my Honda Pilot. They truly made my 12 to 13 year old vehicle feel brand new again. I havent ever felt it run so smooth since I have had it in my possession, and I feel that their work has just given my vehicle the ability to continue running for several years longer than I expected. They do great work, and they are also very friendly and honest. If you are unsure of where to take your vehicle, you will not regret taking it to Art and Seth. I feel very fortunate to have found Art and his auto shop. I was driving across the country from NC to CA when the A/C on my Honda CR-V died while in ABQ. My next stop was to be AZ where temps were exceeding 100 degrees. Based on the good reviews, I called Art’s shop. He fit me in and found the problem in minutes. Had my brakes flushed and received superior service. I wish the shop did more work with domestic vehicles because I really like the people here.One negative thing was that they recommend me to Rio Grande Automotive. Not their fault that I had a poor experience at Rio Grande Automotive, but beware who you refer your customers to.

A mechanic like this is a rare find, I wish I had one back home in Buffalo. Art is the mechanic who helped me, and he was very friendly and professional. I went in with my check engine light on, knowing the code was saying the oxygen sensor wasnt working. Art called me on the phone not long after I dropped the car off and told me the sensor looked like it was working fine, even after running some tests on it. The issue was likely something else, like a loose wire making the light go off. Art could have easily changed a perfectly good sensor and charged me for it and I would have been none the wiser, but he instead told me what was happening and reset the check engine light - a week later and its still not on!While Art was looking at the car, he found something broken in the suspension, and I elected to have that changed while it was in the shop. When I went to pick up my car, Art brought out and showed me the broken part and explained what its function is and how it could have broken. I often find it difficult to trust a mechanic, but from my experience I would certainly trust this one.

It’s very hard to find an auto service place to trust, and well I am glad I was about to find this place, Art and his guys did there upmost to fix my car that I know was giving them grief and hell. Great service. Art explained what a timing belt does. Diagrams and everything. My cars service indicator asked for filter changes for the engine and the cabin in addition to the timing belt and an oil change. He said my engine filter had already been changed recently elsewhere and he put it back in place, and didnt charge me for that service. Proof of honesty, which layman always wonder about in the car repair business. I will be back.

I brought my daughters 2002 Mazda 626 to Seth and Art at ABQ Quality Auto Service the morning of October 19, 2016 for repairs. They changed the oil and rotated the tires. They diagnosed and fixed the air conditioning. They inspected the brakes and replaced the warped rotors and the leaking brake cylinders and flushed the brake lines. Finally they diagnosed the engine shaking issue...they replaced the spark plugs and wires. All this was done in a day...I didnt have an appointment, dropped the car off when they opened, and they fixed all the problems by the end of the day for a very reasonable price. I have taken my Honda Odyssey to Art and Seth several times in the past couple of years, and they have always fixed it right the first time. Their prices are competitive, they fix my cars quickly, they always explain the problems they find and even show me the worn/broken parts. Art and Seth are honest, take the time to diagnose my cars issues and fix them right the first time, and they stand behind their work. On my drive back from California to Houston my alternator failed in Albuquerque. I search Google Maps and found this five-star car service. I was given a quote by ABQ and I waited a day for the alternator to come in. When is parts supplier could not get the alternator he asked the Honda dealership to send one and an additional cost that he born did not send on to me. So he kept the original quote. In addition when I got there with my dog to pick up the car he shared some additional lunch with me. Chick fil a! Thanks yum!

Arrived into town from Seattle last night for a weekend of business hearing noise from drivers side front wheel I thought I had a bad cv joint on my Honda Pilot. Seth took it for a drive and came back with good news for me, the mud guard under fender plastic had come loose and was rubbing on the wheel when in full turn. A few clips and it was repaired. A little embarrassed and happy with his honesty I decided to tell him about the air conditioner repair I just paid $150 for in Phoenix that didnt fix the problem. He went after that and came back with a relay that was bad cost $27. Total bill to me was $85 I was back on the road full air conditioning and turning radius with no noise. Art is great to work with and I cant recommend his shop enough. I can really depend on his work to keep my car running and he recommends maintenance ahead of time, before it becomes an expensive problem. Hes the only mechanic I trust to honestly tell me what my car needs done. For example, my 4runner just hit 200k miles and he told me to do the front suspension, but the back was ok. It was an expensive repair, although his price was very reasonable. WOW what a difference! It brakes so much better and the weird jitter it had accelerating on the freeway is gone. Art really understands cars, but most of all I trust him to be honest!

Where do I begin? I guess first and foremost the owners of this shop, Seth and Arthur, are two of the most honest men I have ever met. Taking a car into a shop is usually a very nerve-racking experience because you wonder if you are going to get taken to the cleaners, and with these two guys that is never even in the back of your mind.I have worked with Seth and Arthur for many years and I was beyond excited when I heard that they were opening their own shop. I recently had to take my car in to have the brakes looked at, when I would push the pedal it would simply go to the floor which as you could expect is not a good thing. Seth called me within a couple hours and told me what it would need, gave me several options for repair including aftermarket parts and factory, when it would be completed and how much. Unfortunately parts were not available until after the weekend which meant my car would have to stay a few nights. Normally I wouldnt like this option very much because most car lots are not very secure, not this place. Not only do they have a tall fence with wire around the premises, but they pull all of their customers cars into the shop every night so they are 100% secure.Sure enough, Monday comes around and mid-day Seth calls to tell me that the car is done on time and under budget. After school I went and picked up my car and started making my way home, and wouldnt ya know it I go to press the brake and it is like it was before, so I call Seth. He asked me if I could bring it by the next day so he can look at it again and I drop it off with him to look at it.Now, like I said when I started this review, I have known both of these Master Techs for many years and Seth could have told me I was being paranoid and the car was fine, but he didnt. Instead he took my car for another test drive (no problem found), put it up in the air (and found some minor things that needed addressing and addressed them), and even for my piece of mind re-bled the entire brake system (which he had already done with he replaced the master cylinder). Then after all was said and done, he called and asked if I could come for a drive, and after driving it, it turns out I was just being paranoid and the car was 100% fixed right the first time, which is the only way Seth knows how to do things. The charge to have him recheck my car, fix the minor things that he found and re-bleed my brakes? $0 dollars.So to sum up my lengthy review. I love both of these guys. They are the only ones that I trust to work on my car (which isnt a Honda, so dont let that be a factor) and I know that when I take it to them they are going to diagnose the car correctly the first time, they are going to give me an accurate estimate for time and cost, and most important, THEY FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!!!Thank you Seth and Arthur, you guys are the best.
