I wrote a great review for this place and am now editing it. Yes, it was quick and I like that they take photos of issues they find on your vehicle.HOWEVER. I brought it in for an oil change and they did their inspection. Engine light came on yesterday so I took it to an independent guy I know. He asked if I had someone change my air filter recently... I said Meineke checked it. Well, my air intake hose wasnt attached. Next morning, same thing... the entire hose was just sitting under my hose, not attached on either side. Oil was halfway full and there were some spare parts left under the hood. That really could have hurt my car and me.Photos are where it was unattached yesterday, where it was unattached at the other end today and the spare parts.So embarrassed by the excitement I had about the visit initially.

This Meineke is Awesome! They do a digital inspection and send you the results so you can actually see what they are talking about when suggesting something should be fixed or replaced. It is very informative! The guy at the desk, Bill, is also very informative. He knows his stuff and will give honest advice/suggestions. They dont try to rip you off.

My car was towed to this AAA approved shop after a collision with debris on the freeway. Bill, the Service Manager, was wonderful doing the assessment of the damage and contacting the insurance adjuster. He determined that he and his colleagues did not have the tools needed to fix the damage and suggested I contact a body shop. His kindness, professionalism and knowledge are much appreciated.

This is a wonderful store that will complete the work quickly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. They’ll explain everything they do and why they think it should be done and make sure to get your okay before doing anything else.As a young woman, I go into any car repair shop guarded, ready to be overcharged, have repairs done I didn’t ask for, lied to, or talked over. This was definitely not the case at Meineke in Albuquerque. I arrived at the store during balloon fest, an undoubtedly busy time, and they still managed to get me in for an oil change within the hour. I mentioned there was a rattle and I believed it was the heat shield, and they repaired it (and the repair has lasted so far despite rough roads and driving all the way to LA). I also mentioned I was shopping for tires and thought I might need an alignment, as I’d gotten stuck in mud, and the owner took the time to research some tires for me, consult on whether I needed an alignment done, and let me know how much tread was left on my tires. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Meineke and felt respected and taken care of.

The guys at Meineke worked us in and helped get us back to our honeymoon. There was no greater relief than getting back on the road that afternoon after a disastrous morning. Staff were nothing but kind and professional. Outstanding service, saved the day.

I contacted Meineke (San Pedro/Alameda location)as I am planning a road trip; wanted make sure I wouldn’t have any problems. They did a brake inspection as I suspected the brakes may be ready for replacement. To my surprise they sent me digital reports of the inspection and all was good!I appreciate the time and most of all the honesty… too many places take advantage but not Meineke. Big shout out to Martin for the great customer service!!

Ive taken my car here to get oil changes a couple times in the past. Always fairly priced and quick service. Leaving this review because I got a leak in my tire while driving and barely made it to their shop. It was 5 minutes before close, but instead of blowing me off, the owner himself came out to fix the tire and refused any payment.

Very knowledgeable and always very professional. And When I walk in the door I know I am going to be treated like family. I highly recommend this place.

We are from Texas, driving through New Mexico onward to Colorado when the car battery began to fail.We stopped at Meineke Car Car center, and we had to replace the alternator, to which the technician said that it would take a day as they are fully backed up with service orders.I had explained that we were headed to Colorado, that day and we had no place to say over here.Understanding that we were tourists due to the Texas licence plate, they agreed to fix our car while we waited at the food court next to Meineke Car Car Center called Tin Can Alley (a fantastic food court).Thanks to their exceptional service and empathy, our trip did not get derailed.I also want to give a special mention to Martin Segura (Owner/Manager), who took the time in explaining the problem with the car, and his high level of professionalism.

My wifes van was towed to this Meinke Car Care shop after rupturing its oil pan from tangling with a rock slide near Los Alamos. It was late on a Friday afternoon, but Carlos and Martin got my wife an Uber ride to a car rental company, promised to check out the van first thing Saturday morning, had a new oil pan delivered by Monday morning and the initial repair and diagnostics finished by early afternoon. Unfortunately the engine was damaged beyond repair by the loss of oil, but Carlos and Martin worked diligently with our insurance company to determine whether to replace the engine or write off the van as a total loss. Ultimately a total loss was determined by the insurance company. During this entire process, Carlos and Martin were great to work with, very understanding of our predicament, and always fair and honest. We feel lucky to have been towed to their shop.

The prices here are so much more reasonable then other places in the area. They take pictures and provide all their recommendations on service. They communicate well and are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this location and team.

We only use this location for are vehicle. We can call one evening and they always get us in the next day. Boy was I mistaken about the service provided by this place. I had been using them for a few years, but now I will never go back.I had wanted an oil change and alignment, but their inspection really surprised me in a most unexpected manner.Less than a year ago, and less than 3000 miles, I supposedly had brake fluid flush and a differential service done on my vehicle.But now, under the Immediate Concern section of the inspection, BRAKE FLUID IS TESTING AT A HIGH LEVEL FOR MOISTURE CONTAMINATION, NEEDS TO PERFORM A BRAKE FLUSH. Oh really! So their brake flush service didnt even last 3000 miles? Sounds to me like the really didnt do it last year when I was charged for it.And under Suggest Further Attention section of the inspection, the rear differential is leaking and the Recommended Action is DIFFERENTIAL SERVICE. Gee, this didnt work before, with less than 3000 miles! I dont think this service was actually done last year either.Sorry, I dont like to do business with dishonest scammers.

Needed a tire ASAP as I was on freeway waiting for a tow. I had just checked 4 other places that didnt have my size or charged way too much. Happy to say this place had my tire size, the time, and a good price for my tire. The manager was very nice and helpful and my tire was done and ready under an HR. Ty. Professional and honest. Never perform work that my car does not need. The integrity of a mom and pop shop with the technology and training of a big shop. This is where you should be taking your car, every time. Just took my car back for brakes. They told me I only needed the front done, and with their rewards program, pads and rotors were free. Only paid for labor. This is the absolute best car repair facity in the state of New Mexico.

Having been grifted by other mechanic places, I was a bit wary. But Meineke sent me photos of the repairs and problems, ( digital, right to my phone!)and also quoted well within my expected budget. They also were able 2 fix it within the same day, and they gave a 24000 miles 2 year warranty on all the work and parts. I was really impressed with how thorough they were. Will definitely use this place again.

I had a great experience taking my truck to Meineke, Albuquerque, for a safety inspection. I was greeted in a welcoming manner, the inspection was performed at once and the results were gone through without any rush.I would take my truck back to them in a heartbeat for any repair.

I’ve been using this Meineke location since moving to the area. They are always prompt and courteous and never try to sell me unnecessary services. Today, they went above and beyond by calling to let me know they found my debit card in their parking lot. I had told them it was missing and that I’d already canceled the card, but I was able to reactivate the card because they followed up with me so quickly.

I called at 10:30 at night thinking that I could just leave a message for somebody to call me. This was a Saturday night. To my surprise somebody answered the phone! Granted it was forwarded to a call center but they were very professional and scheduled me in for the next available time. First thing Monday morning, I received a call from the manager to find out how they can compare for my scheduled appointment. Moreover, they repaired my car, communicated throughout the process, and I got my car back the same day. There is a clear reason why this place receives such high ratings. True professionals!

My car was making the most obnoxious squeaking noise, so I took it to Meineke. They were able to identify the issue quickly as a rusted rotor. I loved that I got pictures that showed the issue, so I could see what was wrong for myself. They were quick, professional, and honest. Carlos was great and very friendly!

The manager there listens and has integrity. He was willing to resolve an issue that arose during a course of a headlight repair that didn’t get completely resolved on the first repair trip.

Martin was a great guy! We were stranded right next to his shop coming from Denver, and luckily for us he was at his shop doing simple maintenance to his cars (wasnt open). He went the extra mile and helped us get our car back up and running on his own time. Within hours he got us going. Giving a great price on replacement parts he had in stock and for the ones he didnt have he refered us to a shop that did (Labor day weekend). With great prices and quality work go to Martin over at Meinike! Local guy that wants to have a great relationship with the community. Prices are good, customer service A1, will go to him if we are ever back in Alberqurque.

Driving cross country...after getting gasoline in Sante Fe, my vehicle engine light came on driving towards Albuquerque and it began running very rough. AAA suggested this Meinecke. I called Bill, he said he look at vehicle as soon as we arrived. After talking with us, he felt there was likely water in the gas. He not only told us where to go buy Heet, he called ahead to let them know we were coming. He also insisted that we call him to let him know if that worked, and to call when later down the road.Bill went above and beyond helping us! Outstanding service. We were traveling from Taos to southern New Mexico and our truck was running running rough on the interstate. We did a quick search for Meineke and were seen quickly. The technician did a test drive and determined the back wheels were not balanced as either a weight had fallen off or something else was causing it to be out of balance. I had a great experience here getting my oil changed. I also asked them to check out my car to see if there was anything else wrong. I have never had someone explain things to me so thoroughly. I was really impressed by the service. I will continue going back to deal with any car problems I have! Also, the oil change was way more affordable than other places I’ve been to.

I took my vehicle in to do a diagnostic on the vehicle due too it running not how it should. I was told repeatedly they was not able to diagnose a problem and put out the information to my warranty in an matter that made it seem like it was all just maintenance issues. After wanting to charge me 550 to do a “tune-up” without even a guarantee that in fact was the overall problem, I respectfully declined service so I can take it to a transmission shop for a free diagnostic(cause with simple research, you can find it was a transmission problem). When picking up the vehicle I was charged for a diagnostic fee which wasn’t even stated too me when dropped off that if no problems was found, I was liable to pay that fee(please provide documentation that I’m liable if willing). I respectfully paid the fee even though I didn’t even get a answer on the problems. I than left a review due to a text message I got. I stated the issues with the business and almost immediately got a call from Carlos. He than began to belittle me and even cussed at me. Very unprofessional, very unhelpful, and very disrespectful. I hope you learn to treat customers better. It’s absolutely absurd.

I was traveling from Arizona to Colorado in a rental car and had a tire blow out. I was right around the corner from this shop. I was greeted by Carlos who owns the shop with Martin. Carlos was all business and got me a new tire mount and balanced and I was back on the road in less than a hour! Took in my car to get my AC diagnosed. People there were very friendly but I have to give a bad review do to them misdiagnosing my vehicles AC system and said that it was definitely the AC compressor and they could do it for $1200. I went out and bought the AC compressor and installed it my self but it ended up being the AC expansion valve which is a very common problem I found out on 09 Honda Civics. Was a much cheaper part that I could have saved money on. They need more thorough inspections of the vehicles not assumption.

After calling at least a dozen places, I knew this was the place after 10 seconds on the phone. Martin was professional, knowledgeable, took the time to listen to my concerns. It may just be an Audi, but I have learned the hard way that the average shop isn’t equipped to service. It was clear that this isn’t your average shop.They completed the brakes on time and at the quoted price.

This is my first car ever in my name. I didnt know who to take him for maintenance and I was worried about how expensive it would be. I read all the good news/reviews about this center and it was near my home so I thought I would try it out. Martin, the manager, communicated with me directly and ensured I would be taken care of. The employees here are the salt of the earth!!! I had an unexpected emergency on my way out of town with my camper wheels and they went above and beyond! They replaced my lug nuts, fixed a brake wire issue without being asked, and the only charge was to have a safe trip and think of them in the future. This blew my mind. I have been there are several occasions and they always exceed my expectations. If you need anything they can help you with, you won’t be sad you went to them.

Very professional and knowledgeable. They handled my needs and were able to answer my questions and get the jobs done well. I had brakes worked on and headlight checked and replaced. I will be going here again.

The Team here is always courteous and respectful listening to why I brought my car in. Finding the problem and fixing it and looking for other safety issues that I may not know about. Not to get me to pay for more repairs, but to make me aware and let me choose to have them done or not. Great team. I will not take my car anywhere else without seeing the first. I love the Team there, my car has a warranty in which it can be frustrating to work with, however the team was patient and very understanding. They advocated for me and made sure my warrenty covered as much as they could. I appreciate all the hard work. We all want to find that family-run place with honest, capable mechanics, friendly service, and reasonable prices to do work on our vehicles. This is that place! Brothers Carlos and Martin run a great shop! They are willing to tell me when something isnt worth fixing on an older vehicle; they are willing to chat with me about car issues. They always take care of me, especially if something doesnt go according to plan. I feel perfectly comfortable taking all my vehicles there. And, my wife feels perfectly fine going in there, as well. She has not always felt that way about other shops... some places she feels like the mechanics are condescending to her, but shes always had great experiences with Meineke on San Pedro. I recommend all my friends go there.

Our service issue was diagnosed correctly and resolved in a timely manner and for a reasonable cost. But while our vehicle was on the Meineke lot, a city maintenance crew damaged our windshield. Carlos (Owner/manager) immediately took ownership of the issue. He had the windshield repaired at Meinekes expense. Many business owners would have tried to leave me to deal with the city myself.

This is a locally owned Meineke and it is a family owned business. I took my car in for air conditioning problems and they did a diagnostic and we found out the compressor went out. I thought great here we go paying through the nose. No they are reasonably priced. They were very friendly, explained everything they were repairing with the car and gave me text updates. These guys are great! Im referring everyone in my family to this family business!!

In Albuquerque for the day, and found ourselves with car problems. Martin and Jordan came to our aide. It was 15 minutes before closing time, but they were there to help us out!
