Ordered flowers from this shop on the phone to be delivered for a friend’s birthday. We had agreed on $50 total cost. The woman at the shop which I assume was the owner didn’t speak English well. They delivered the flowers under a wrong name and changed me $66. When I asked her about it via a text, she was nasty and instead of making good on the mistake she had made, she was arrogant and rude, Saying bring the flowers back to the shop. She finally offered $20 refund but she took her offer back at the end of the conversation. Very unreliable, greedy and irresponsible operation. Never again!

Ordered flowers online for my sister in Albany, received an email receipt and order number -- felt good to remember her birthday!The flowers were never delivered (gee, happy birthday!) The Golden Poppy did not return my call when I called the number in the confirmation email, and left a message with the confirmation number and contact information.Called again today, and got someone live. She has never heard of my sister, and said they have two online systems. No apology, no sense of urgency about missing a commitment. She may call me back, but I am not holding my breath.Update, she did call back and left a message offering to deliver a bouquet for free today. As much as I appreciate the sentiment, my sisters birthday has come and gone.We all want to support small businesses and local businesses, but they have to earn our business. GO TO SEE Emma at the store, call and place an order at the store, but DO NOT use either of their online websites to order flowers. It doesnt work.

Great fresh flowers for a very good price. I always come here when I want a gift bouquet but I dont want it to look like I got it at a grocery store. They are very helpful and always put together beautiful bouquets. Friendly and helpful, coming here always puts me in a good mood.

Emma (the owner) is the one who deals with the customers. She is a very lovely lady who will go the extra mile to get her clients happy. I loved the way she made my arrangements with such meticulous detail.From now on, this will be my head flower shop.Oh, and BTW... She opens sundays too!!

We went in asking for a bouquet at the moment. She prepared a nice and colorful bouquet.

First of all, on the website she has gift baskets. I ordered at $70 gift basket. I was charged $90. I ordered a gourmey gift basket with Godiva chocolates, cheeses, crackers, and meats. She sent the order to someone else after taking the money and keeping it, because and I quote I dont even do gift baskets. She only told them a gourmet basket. No hint as to what should be in it. I got 4 apples, cashews, raspberries and crackers. I called and got the run around. I will never order from here again! I ordered this basket for our anniversary. Our first anniversary away from the kids in the 11 years we have been married and I was highly disappointed! If I could give no stars I would!

Nice flower shop in albany near berkeley, it is located in solano ave.the shop owner is very friendly and kind. the price of flower is good too,I purchased purple orchid for my sick friend, he love the purple full blossomed orchid, he said flower smell help him to release his stress and sickness. flower give us always happiness.it is lucky to have nice local flower shop. recommend
