Been there, done that and say Yes I did and Yes I loved it! My favorite breakfast and lunch stop while working in Albany! Its similar to our White Cross, but better and I can vouch for that! Used to display fabulous cakes, pies and doughnuts on and at counter and I would have to ignore them because I was always dieting! Servers were fast and great and I special ordered tuna fish sandwiches, salads, ice tea, eggs Benedict (poached eggs were my mainstay,) eggs Sunny Side up with whole wheat toast on the side, crispy bacon, coleslaw, etc, etc. Prices were reasonable and they always had specials of the day! Kind of like Mels Diner, but the food here was much better! Easy walk from work in business area and bus stop was close by too! 💕🇺🇸💞❤️😎🌟🌟🌟

This little coffee shop is amazing! I never would have thought Id find such a delicious eatery on South Pearl street, no offense meant! I ordered eggs and corned beef hash and it came with really great home fries and buttered toast.. I also ordered a tea with cream and sugar and it was made PERFECTLY and Im super picky about how my tea is made! This place is fantastic, cant wait to visit again!

I had an absolutely dreadful experience. My fish taste as if was fried in old cross contaminated oil. As a result I later spent the day throwing up. My potatoes were under seasoned and looked like mashed fried potatoes. Eggs had little to no seasoning. The best thing about my meal was the Coffee. Severely disappointed and a waste of 20.00. Also their grub hub delivery system is dreadful.

My favorite greasy spoon breakfast spot. One of the few places that have smooth grits. Service is quick and doesnt take long for the food to be served. The waitresses are on point. My only problem with the place is the ventilation system. Expect to smell like grilled food when you leave the shop. However, I order my food by pick up most of the time and never have problem.

Love their homecooked foods the breakfast is terrific great prices and Large portions. Friendly waitresses and fast service

Came in with a hungry crew when another area diner said they were closed. It was 20 mins til closing on a Saturday afternoon and we could see the slight dismay on their faces since it was so close to closing.The waitress, Sue, offered to have our meals to go so we agreed and sat at the bar. We had some light conversation about the upcoming holiday, their typical hours. Etc.When it was time to be served, the owner served us on diner ware and made sure we felt appreciated.The orders? Grilled cheese, the #11 and the Shortstack of pancakes with two eggs over medium.What an accommodating crew at the South Pearl Coffee shop.
