I love the deco- very natural and peaceful. We ordered Americano and latte. I like the latte so much. At first, I thought the coffee taste was not strong but the taste came out in couple second. Not super dark roasted which I dont really like. I also found the super funny and true sticker! A nice place to visit in a small town.

Really great coffee, friendly service, lots of comfortable chairs and tables make for a cozy coffeeshop experience with plenty of space between you and other patrons. Staff obviously knew their regulars, greeting several of them by name. WIFI was ALBANYSLIVINGROOM, which fits very well as a description of the overall comfy vibe. I had the Dark Horse house coffee, which was smooth and robust with subtle fruity and smoky notes. Definitely will be back, Im looking forward to trying some of their other blends. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time when I sat in margin coffee with my friend! I was really excited to be able to sit in a coffee shop again since restrictions were slightly lifted, though I was very glad that there was socially distanced seating. I felt very safe! My coffee was fantastic and I love the use of sustainable straws! Im sure Ill be back for another relaxing morning.

My favorite Albany coffee shop is open for indoor and outdoor seating! My favorite fall drink is their Sugar & Spice latte. Its mildly sweet with light fall spices.This is a true coffee shop! Theyre drinks and food and high quality. I like that their mochas and latte are not overly sweetened and they use high quality coffee. They provide friendly service in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

This is the place I went and found God. I dont know how I was so connected and pulled in at this perfect moment, but this was the place for me. The service is great and the people that fill the place are even better.

Stopped here while I was in town with my brother and I’m so glad I did. The customer service was outstanding and the coffee was magical. I absolutely LOVE coffee and the coffee this establishment is serving up is nothing short of phenomenal. If youre debating on visiting this business but havent pulled the trigger yet, put those hesitations behind you and make the commitment. This is one unity you won’t come to regret. Highly recommend.

Margin, also known as “Albany’s living room” & man, it couldn’t be more true! Originally, the beautiful building drew me in the second I spotted it! Inviting, stunning, cozy... but the coffee & the people are what keep us coming back. It’s clear the owners care about their craft, and every single person that walks through their door is treated as a friend. Whether it’s a quick 5min latte stop, or a 3 hour work session tucked away at a table- we are customers for life! Thank you Margin, you the bomb!

Coffee is wicked tasty, staff is always pleasant, and the vibes are choice 👌🏻 If Im going to stay awhile or get a coffee to go, it always works out well, theyre quick with your order regardless which is super nice if Im just swinging by on my way through. When I have work to do and home just is not the place for being productive, Margin is an easy place to sit and focus because you dont feel crammed next to anyone, and if you just wanna have a coffee date or meet with someone, its easy to have your own private conversation too. BUT the entire time you feel cozy and comfortable in the mellow bustle of the place. Its got a liveliness to it like that friend that just oozes cool and never tried too hard.

On a cold rainy day its my hideout. Its a welcoming experience, good coffee and food where I feel comfortable. Treat yourself, make yourself happy, stop in.

Albany has been in desperate need of a local coffee shop for quite some time. This place rivals Archive Coffee (Salem) and Tried & True (Corvallis). Big space, vintage decor, great coffee in the heart of historic downtown.

Im a fan of green tea and absolutely love all their green tea drinks as well as ice pops they make. Definitely a favorite local place for me and even when I venture outside of my usual, I enjoy that drink as well. The quality of drinks, service and ambiance is always great 😊

Margin Coffee has always been one of my go to coffee shops. The drinks, the space, and the overall atmosphere is very comforting. I could spend hours there with my delicious drink and a good book or laptop to do work on. :)

I just went there today and had the best cup of coffee Ive ever had, hands down! It was an iced vanilla latte by the way. I love that they have live plants, comfortable seating, artwork on the walls, clean restrooms and a generally great ambiounce. I think it is easily the best coffee shop in town.

I am on the Quest for the best dirty chai in town and this did not make it I couldnt even taste the chai in it it was so disgusting flavor. Also I paid 4.50 for 12 oz. So if you want a nice place to hang out with really expensive coffee this might be your place. I think Ill pass though. I only gave them a second star because they were very prompt with my order and the place was nice with good music playing.

A great place opening up in the downtown area. Places like this are usually in bigger cities and may be difficult to get to. For now at least Margin Coffee is easy to get to an the way through albany and nearby to the many great places that have sprung up by the waterfront. At least for the Albany direction, this place will be my preferred hangout and meeting place with good coffee, nice owners and a great space. I think the owners understand the market and are truly bringing an experience that will surpass many of the other estabilished places.

Awesome a nice place to start the morning. Good flavor and balanced in their lattes, and I always enjoy their house coffees. Today was a blend from Guatemala that had great undertones. Nice, laid back, informal atmosphere with enough space to spread out even when busy. Always enjoy Margin coffee.

I judge a coffee shop by their Americano and cold brew, no cream or sugar. I think they use the same beans for both drinks, which I think is a mistake. It makes great hot coffee but terrible cold brew. In fact the Americano is one of the best Ive had.

Sorry guys tried it twice and, really really really wanted to like it. But 2 Americanos and 2 lattes in the trash. 2 different basistas. All tasted like a cup of acid. Extremely underextracted.

Came here to wait while my pet was being groomed. Very clean. Doing well to run while in the midst of a pandemic. Very spaced out to promote distancing. Signs on tables to direct people where to sit. Super friendly.

This is the classic independent coffee shop. Great ambiance. Great decor. Great coffee. My cappuccino was delicious! They dont have all the supersize options that end up watering down the result.

A quaint coffee shop with good coffee. I am lactose intolerant and they had 3 options for lactose free. I choice the oat option and enjoyed it. It felt like a place you could sit down and read for hours while you sip on your coffee. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Margin Coffee is a bit out of the way for me to go on a regular basis but I do plan on making the effort to come again. I am looking forward to a sipping on coffee and reading a new book there soon.

As a college student, I was so excited for Margin to open. The drinks are good and the service is friendly, but the seating really isnt great. Lots of small tables and chairs (although yet somehow not enough - it can be hard to find a spot) and the chairs and benches are wildly uncomfortable. Little W is still my favorite study spot in town, even if the coffee isnt as good.

Really top notch espresso. Best latte Ive found in the area. Beautiful big cafe with very relaxed atmosphere, plenty of seating (sofas and table seating). A few food options (quiche, bagel and cream cheese, a few pastry/cinnamon roll options).

This new spot is great for a Saturday morning coffee if you enjoy a noisy bustling coffee house scene. The place has a modern cozy Joanna Gaines feel. The employees gave great customer service and were friendly. The bagels and cream cheese were REALLY good and I like that the cream cheese is served in a separate container rather than the mayonnaise packet other places throw at you. The space is clean and nicely renovated. My only suggestion would be to find a way to add more seating because a few times I’ve stopped in but left because there was no where to sit with my partner.

The coffee was very good, way better than Starbucks in my opinion. To gage this I had a peppermint mocha but Im sure their other coffee is good too. It was a little hustly and noisy giving you that average cafe type feel, but can make it hard to study which is why I was there. Overall a very good experience though.
