Never again sold me a lemon 🍋 😒 for 4000 had it for 4 month transmission blow and his reaction it that what happens when u buy a use car and then say im on my ownGuess thats the way this business scams people out there hard earned money. If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought a car off this man for $3,000 dollars had it a month and some change for it to die on me and then sit on his lot playing a guessing game on whats wrong with it and in meantime pay $500 into parts for it to still not start..so I took it to another mechanic to have it looked at to actually find out whats wrong with to be told its the timing belt and going to cost me about $1,200 to fix it. Please do not buy a vehicle off this man. His cars are junk and not worth the headache. Now I got to see how I can get my money back..

I bought a suv from him and he told me he would fix everything. 8 months later he hasn’t even touched it and it is currently not drivable with a bad transmission. He doesn’t answer the phone or text. Even the bank has called him and he didn’t answer, worse place ever especially for a first time buyer going through a place for the first time. Shady man and does not live up to his word

Best auto care in the capital district

Yesterday 27 October 2017 I took my 2013 Chevy Cruze there for brakes and rotors. Upon arrival it is a small little shop, but the guys that work there are super friendly and informative. I initially spoke with Jay, about his car and my car(s) until GUY (The owner) came back with the parts for my car. Not only did I get to see the job being done, I seen the new parts for my car arrive. Normally a job like that would be super pricey, but GUY gave me a sweet deal. Many dealers only care about the money but he cares about the CUSTOMER and the quality of his parts. While the job was being done Guy and I conversed about cars/parts/ etc. I must say this place was GREAT to me and any future work that may need to be done to my car WILL GO HERE. If you are uneducated about cars you may say negative things about him and his business but if you, like myself are educated on cars and parts. This IS the place for you!! Thank you Guy and Jay for the awesome work!

Aaron was easy to work with and got me in a great vehicle the same day. I would definitely recommend anyone going to them if they are looking tho get a new/ used car.

Wish I could give them zero stars. About two months after being serviced by them I realized my car was in worse condition than when I brought it in so I got a second opinion turns out they didnt even touch what they charged me $300 for. Currently seeking legal advice

I must say Capital District Auto is my one go to auto repair and sales place. Ive purchased two vehicles here: Cadillac Escalade and Mercedes S-Class. I had a rough time with other dealerships in the Albany/Colonie area, many were just waiting my time and looking out for their bottom line whilst forgetting Im the paying customer. Capital District Auto, however treated me like a priority and dare I say family. The mechanics, office manager and even the owner treated me like an old family friend. I left there grateful and pleasantly surprised with how quick & easy financing was there. Ive since then sent over many co-workers and church family over for purchases and repairs. All have come back to me pleased with the work completed and candor of the staff. I can guarantee Capital District Auto has made a customer and friend for life. God Bless Them.

The owner is a crook. The whole operation is unorganized . They seem to not know what they are doing in there I would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle there for the slightest repair you may end up taking your vehicle elsewhere to fix their screw up .. good luck lesson learned

Guy say he going to get things done and dont down up to his own business the man is a mess my car been sitting there 3weeks and its his been a guessing game I paid 3000 for the car and didnt have it a month with engine light on a week later and now dont start

Guy is a piece of garbage doing nothing but illegal business. Literally nothing about this place is legal!! He buys his cars from copart and Mannheim. I.E a car thats been destroyed that he puts a little bit of money into and then sells to anybody. He forged bank paperwork just to get me a vehicle. He sold me a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. 2008 I knew it wasnt going to be perfect. However I had it for TWO days!!! The check engine light popped on. The blower motor never worked. All the sensors in the tire were broken. Every single thing on the dash was fudged up n didnt work right. Including the speedometer and gas gauge. When you hit 80 in it the jeep started making a horrendous clicking noise that made me panic and think it was going to explode. When I asked the mechanic which fuse I was looking for he couldnt even figure it out!!! I found the problem MYSELF and fixed it. It took them FIVE HOURS just to get plates on it and run it through inspection (which it shouldnt have passed with the amount of issues it had) He registered the car to HIMSELF yet had me paying for it. When the bank took back there financing because I told them the TRUTH and not the lies he put all over the paperwork he rushed me to try and sign new papers for a new bank. I refused. I requested the down payment.i gave him back. He refused to give me my money back. It took hours of telling him I want my money back and threats of small claims court and actually going to the police station. I WILL be contacting DMV Dept of labor (since none of his employees are legally working there) better business bureau and anyone else I possibly can. This business needs to be shut down before one of his cars actually kills someone!!!

Beware! I purchased a car there and four months later the engine blew. Guy, the alleged owner said he would take care of it and my car is still sitting there 6 weeks later. He didnt respond do my calls or texts. Stay clear of this scam artist.

Car had nothing but problems, the car was in and out of the shop for over a month, he gave me 4 different loaner cars. The first car I bought literally caught fire. Would never buy from agaim, shady dealings. Everytime I was in the shop, there was another customer coming in to complain about there car

Although my initial dealings with a former worker there did not work out.Guy the owner has taken care of me. Anytime I have had an issue it was taken care of right away. I am on my second vehicle purchased from Guy and I must say the attention I get from this place is above and beyond any other place I have dealt with. As this is a used car dealership, sometimes things happen, such as my alternator going bad after a month. It was replaced as well as my radiator same day.
