I went in twice, game them all my prescription information, medical, health insurance and primary care both verbally and in writing, spending over an hour each time. And when my prescriptions were called in, they said they had no record of me in their system. I don’t feel I can trust these folks to fill the correct prescriptions and dosages, let alone charge me the correct price. Run away as fast as possible.
Always on time with the service. The staff are courteous and polite.
If it was possible to give 0 star I would have. The customer service is laughable everytime I come to this store I am met with absurd even after waiting the time I was originally told. The only perk is how late their open and after dealing with these people who will give you attitude and misinformation youll think driving to Las cruses wont sound so crazy.
A scam I am calling you out on it! Tried to register for your Covid drive thru testing at Walgreens on the web it asks for a flight confirmation. I’m not going anywhere I’m pretty sure I have Covid so I want to test. Your website won’t let me go any further without a confirmation flight number because you’re only excepting those. Is the government funding you for a rapid response drive-through testing site because you sure aren’t providing it. I tried calling spoke to one representative and then even a pharmacist and was turned away unless I go through the website sounds like you’re pocketing your funding. I have already turned you into the department of health and I’m going to find any other place that I can turn you into for false advertising of rapid response Covid testing shame on you folks.
Best Walgreens pharmacy Ive ever been to. Staff! Amazing. Pharmacist! Amazing. Had a misshap with prescriptions going to wrong pharmacy( not their fault) was short on time and late for a flight in El paso. These lovely people understood and got me out in time! They didnt have to do that and I truly appreciate it
This place is the saddest excuse for a pharmacy. The pharmacist was condescending with major attitude. The prescription was placed a few days ahead and when we arrived it was not in the system. Once it was located there was an issue on their side with the insurance. Then we had to wait to get it filled. We were quoted 3 different prices. 3? Finally had to pay the higher price. No explanation provided. Opened the bag and the supposedly sealed prescription was opened with the contents leaked out. Took the product back and the pharmacist made it a point to come over and state that we were wrong and the container was sealed. That was reportedly that last one so it has to be ordered. We received a refund. Everyone had an attitude. You just get the feeling that they really hate their job, forced politeness is obvious. This has to be the worst Walgreens in the state.
Managers Matthew and Sergio are very sub-par at communicating with customers. I have been waiting for a call from the district manager for almost 2 weeks to discuss their poor performance and reluctance to help a customer. Corporate is not any better. Staff is rude more often than not and it seems like the problems start at the top and trickle down.
Lost my prescription twice. I’ve had to call my doctor three times to get the same prescription sent over.
Slowest pharmacy ever! Both inside and drive through. Management really needs to step up
Waited a hour to get a flu shot... don’t recommend coming here for any immunizations. If i would have known I would’ve gone on base. Front counter employees are always extremely nice though. Pharmacy not so much
My wife and I moved to Alamogordo in February 2020, and weve been very happy with how friendly everyone is, including in the stores. Weve also been very pleased with how good the service usually is in the stores. But this Walgreens is some strange exception. Its almost like they decided that every store employee in Alamogordo who is either unfriendly and/or incompetent is required to work at this Walgreen store. (1) Staff who either act annoyed that you need their help, or ignore you completely. (2) Mistakes in filled medications, including missing pills (hmm). (3) The latest, and last transaction there for me, was ordering something for pickup and then when getting home with the item, finding out it was an empty box. Wow. Just really, really bad.
Incompetent and rude pharmacy staff. Dont waste your time. Fill your prescription somewhere else in town.
Went today, stood in line behind lady that couldnt remember codes for her discount card. Now its my turn, Im in the liquor section, I ask if they sell wine openers, they do, but in the main store. So I go over to the main store, get my wine opener, then have to stand back in line. My turn again, I have to use a 100.00 bill, no change available, they have to call for manager assistance. By the time she brought the money, there are people behind me in line. The guy behind me says, Finally weve been waiting. Her response....Well you can leave. Wow, great customer service Walgreens of Alamogordo!
My review is for May pharmacy technician: I appreciate your taking the time to help me with my insurance question, as well as your your kindness and patience.
You just lost a loyal customer, Walgreens. Bye, bye.
Wouldn’t recommend Walgreens.
My complaint is with their false advertising. They will publish an ad online plus have signs in their store that if you buy at least 1- 30 pk of Miller light, Coors Light or Bud Light that you will get a form to send in and get a 5 dollar rebate. Upon checking out they tell you that they dont give a rebate form. To me this is illegal and I have mentioned it to them but they continue to mislead the public. I dont like crooks so no longer buy anything there.
Went in for a passport photo and to print another 2x2 photo off my phone. The lady that helped me was very nice, even when I was frustrated with the Walgreens automatic photo kiosk. She went above and beyond to try and help. I would go back just for the helpful and patient service. The automatic kiosk does not allow you to print 2x2 which is a fail. Not the stores fault, but a corporate fail or maybe intentional so you cant print something like a passport photo.
Called the store and spoke with Matthew. I told him about an item I was looking for and wasnt sure if they carried it. He put me on hold for no more than 30 seconds and came back and told me they do carry the item, its in stock and the price of the item. After the phone call, I visited the store and got 2 of the items and Matthew checked me out. Nice work Matthew. Keep up the great work.
Its strange to be reading these negative reviews! Ive had nothing but great experiences at the Alamogordo Walgreens. They always seem happy to me! I only have a few prescriptions, but they know me when they see me, and theyre already getting them out of the bin when they see that Im next in line. I get texts when my prescriptions are ready, and IF something isnt right (people make mistakes. It happens!!) They make it right quickly and professionally! One employee in particular, Chris, goes above and beyond to help my family, and Ive heard many others say that she has helped them, too. So before you read a few negative reviews, please go in and form your in opinion. It may not be for everyone and thats fine. Thankfully, you have choices in this town. Im just grateful for the awesome care my family and I have received from Walgreens in Alamogordo. We wont go anywhere else.
Had a great experience today at Walgreens. Matthew went above and beyond to help me with my medications that I needed through the drive-thru window. He took the time to explain everything in detail even though they were about to close. Great customer service. I absolutely recommend Walgreens for your business needs.
I have never had a problem on anything. Then again I KNOW that if one is polite and not demanding you get what you give from employees. I dont consider myself special. This is a small store in a small town. If you do not like things go elsewhere .....good luck on that.
Im not usually one to push boundaries, but when I walked in today (July 2018) to try to drop off a box for fedex, I knew it was rather large and potentially questionable. The limit to package size is 48×25×25 (maybe 48×24×24, something like that) and my package was less than 48 in length, but was right at the limit for width if not over. At first I was told no, its way up big, but after a little pleading they agreed to take it.The dimension limits are due to the limited amount of storage they have available, and for some reason in my mind as long as the largest dimension was under 48 I was good to go.While I do NOT suggest anyone should go in looking for an exception to policy, I was very thankful for the great customer service. Sometimes taking care of customers means bending the rules a bit, so this Walgreens is a good place in my book.
Went to get a passport photo and I was told on the phone two people could get their picture for $15 for both, well that wasnt correct information it was $15 for each person. It cost $15 at the post office so why go to Walgreens to get it!? I rather make one stop and get it all done so I will be getting my passport photo at the post office .Walgreens is such a RIP off!
Handed over my insurance card to female. Female instructed me to call and get info she needed on the card. Everything was on the card, yet unless I called and directly got the information, I couldnt pick up my meds. I called my insurance, they called Walgreens and told them how unprofessional they were and MY insurance company took care of it, not Walgreen pharmacy. Rude and classless!!!
Very dissatisfied with this store. Many difficulties trying to fill my prescriptions at this store.Backordered items accidentally deleting my prescriptions, many errors and inconveniences.
Prescription that the er doctor prescribed was supposed to be filled the day after it was dropped off as they were out of stock could not give a courtesy call to let us know it had not arrived said they could not tell us if it would be here tommarow or next year so now we ask for it back and now of a sudden it will be here tommarow
When visiting family for a few days in Alamogordo I forgot my pills so called Walgreens and asked if they could supply 2 or 3 until I got back to Albuquerque. Said yes but since I had refills left on my prescription they would charge me the same for 3 pills as for a 90 day supply. Huh??? Asked if they could just give me a couple of pills free. Nope. Told them Id be switching all prescriptions to another pharmacy. Response: sorry, company policy, cant help you. So, adios Walgreens, permanently, after years of prescriptions with them.
Literally the worst Walgreens ever. The technicians are so unhappy in the pharmacy its not even funny. The store manager Matthew Delgado is possibly the worst manager ever! Hes hateful, spiteful, demanding, impatient, and misogynistic towards the employees. Going in there its obvious! It reflects whenever he enters the room! I suggest picking up a prescription elsewhere. if youre looking for good customer service, you wont get it here. The employees are too battered down by his behavior.
Very unprofessional at the pharmacy.I will not be going back. I rather drive 65 miles to Las Cruces to CVS!
This place is very understaffed . The pharmacy drive through is always full of cars, inside the line is just as long. The pharmacy never answers the phone & The liquor dept. is not even open at night. The beauty & photo depts rarely have a clerk and although this store appears clean with the shelves fairly well stocked and organized it is quite apparent the few employees to be seen are definitely overworked . Ruidoso WALGREENS is so much better.
Great place to shop, you can always find last minute stocking stuffers not to mention cookies and candies and lots of munchies!Lol 😍💚💚💚💚❤❤❤❤💚💚💚💚❤❤❤❤💚💚💚💚❤❤❤❤
The cashier went out of her way to make sure I got the best deal on toilet paper. That kind of customer service can’t be beat!
Should have received 90 pills of clonidine (3 times daily) of blood pressure medicine due to cerebral aneurysms. Shorted us 30 pills and REFUSED to correct mistake even though I showed them the previous prescription label!!!! He said basically...too bad and to have doctor write a new prescription even though there was still a refill available. It appears something is clearly not right. Numerous phone calls to pharmacy did not correct problem. When we returned back home to Nevada, checked with CVS pharmacy and said it clearly states 1 pill every 8 hours. There should have been NO CONFUSION. We are reporting them to the state office that oversees them. Based on other reviews, this has happened before.
So blame google? Why is Walgreens responsible for what google says? Next time get off your virtual butt and go to the companys web site.
Great place to have photos taken.
Pharmacy is closed when hours online say theyre open. Theyre understaffed causing really long wait times.
They are the best and very helpful and caring
This place has definitely gone down in customer service.
Lose prescriptions and have been shorting my mothers medications. The only time it gets fixed is when corporate is called. They could care less about peoples medications.
The drive thru line for the pharmacy was 10 cars long. Took too long.
Worst pharmacy I have ever been to!
It is not open 24 hours as it is described on google. Because of this I missed filling a RX prior to a trip.
Worst pharmacy I have ever been to.
Went at 11:52 closed already.
