As close to New Haven as you can get in South Carolina! Great atmosphere and staff! We will definitely be making this a must eat place to dine at!

I have wanted to return to Italy but, well, Covid has kept that from happening for awhile, however, while visiting South Carolina I was treated to the freshest, most delicious, exquisite pizza I have enjoyed since my last romp through Italia! We began our meal with Bruschetta and my family then dined in true “familia Italia” style with good conversation that included the visits with the owner of this jewel of an establishment who made us welcome and I felt I was visiting my family in Italy! I swear the pizzas were shipped to SC directly from our mother country. We enjoyed three various pizzas but also visited with other regular patrons who swore their favorites were the best! You can’t order a bad pizza! I can hardly wait to return to “ Apizza di Napoli” and may have to move there from beautiful Montana to be closer to my roots. Thank you for a lively dining experience. Tried 2 of the pizza pies. I’ve been to Italy and these were good, but in comparison - not at all as good as pizza in Italy. Crust was much thicker. Not as much garlic. Not as much basil. Owner could be a bit nicer to customers!! Wouldn’t allow me to set my things on the very booth we ended up being seated at so I could use the loo.

By far some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I started with a salad with some of the most delicious fresh crispy lettuce and house made ranch. The pizza had the perfect amount of robust sauce and fresh cheese and crunchy crust, everything was absolutely delicious. The owner really knows his stuff when it comes to good food! Not to mention he’s a very hard worker, making sure everything was cooked to perfection. He was very kind going above and beyond to speak with my grandma and I. She recently lost her husband and he gave condolences and told her she is always welcome in the restaurant by herself and will be treated like family! It made me feel really good to know there are kind people in this community like that. Amazing restaurant I’ll be back every time I come to visit.

My fiancé and I ordered the garlic breaded mushrooms, fried mozzarella, and two pizzas to-go. We were blown away by the thoughtfulness of the folks who work there. The pizza is light and delicious and the ingredients were super fresh! We will definitely be back 😊

Authentic Italian pizza! My favorite is the prosciutto with arugula. Plan on ordering individually, the pizzas aren’t meant to be shared and average $15+ per pizza. After you order you’ll seat yourself and fill your own drink. It’s a quasi- fast food environment so if you’re looking for a date night/romantic restaurant this may not be for you. This is a family owned local business and the owner is right there cooking your pizza. We love to support local businessmen. He was one of the first places to open back up after Covid with an outdoor tent. Thanks for serving our community

Great classic traditional Italian style pizza. Very thin, great toppings, and nicely charred.

Ive gone several times and the food is always delicious but my bill is always SO high! This time i asked for an itemized bill. Normally they just tell you how much and give you a receipt for the money you spent, they never give you an itemized bill. Anyways this time i got one and they are charging for so all sorts of stuff. Taxes Ive never heard of and gratuity included but they ask you to tip when you pay, and since they dont give the itemized receipt they never let you know you already paid gratuity. Its a bit shady in my opinion but the food is excellent.

We came here years (6+) ago and have talked it since. We came back today with our four kids (4-12) and were reminded why we have used this as a standard for true wood-fired pizza. The Margherita did not disappoint. Also enjoyed wood fired breadsticks, Caprese salad, and Americano pizzas. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!

Without question, this is my go to love for authentic, delicious pizza. They should be voted the best pizza in the nation. I drive an hour to dine here and they have never once disappointed me. Everything about this place is truly exquisite, the atmosphere, the cuisine, the music, the ambience, the desserts, and the beautiful people who make it my haven.

First time and we wish we lived closer! The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The New Haven Pizza was delicious and baked well.

OMG this was the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life!!! I had the Margarita without basil & It was absolutely perfect!! There was a tiny glitch at first but, the owner took care of it immediately. Also, they’re taking every safety procedure they can due to Covid so, I felt pretty safe.

We loved it!! If you want authentic Neapolitan pizza this is the only place you will find it in South Carolina. Be aware this is not American pizza. It’s very different, but so amazing. We enjoyed visiting with the owner (who was very busy and quite gracious to take the time to speak with us at our request) and the service was excellent. A 10/10 experience. We can’t wait to go back!!!!

I have to rate this pizza as one that is pretty good in the area. I was raised in NY so I am really into NY thin style pizza and this was very similar. The staff was very friendly to my family and even worked to place our order ahead so that we didn’t have to wait an hour as they had already had several other orders before us. The pizza was also very good, my only recommendation would be to cut it into slices but I easily did that at home as I had a to go order (I’m sure if I was dining in it would have been sliced or I could have asked for it). Place was very clean and the mask requirement made me very happy because some places are very laid back with their requirement and I DO NOT like that because I have a baby in my house that I am trying to protect. THANK YOU for enforcing requirements for everyone’s safety I really appreciate seeing this. Good food, clean place, nice staff, and enforcing safety makes this five stars for me.

First timer: My husband and I were in the mood for pizza, but we wanted to try something a bit more authentic. We decided to stop by and it was a good choice. Many others complained about the crust being “soggy” but I think they’re more fond of the large chain pizza places. This pizza was great and youll definitely eat it with a fork and knife. Good service, great food. We’ll definitely be back.Order: 9inch pepperoni pie with extra cheese & 12inch Haven (highly recommend)! As an appetizer we order the fried ravioli.

Worst customer service I have ever had at a small Aiken restaurant. I called in an order and showed up to pick it up on my way home. I was berated by an older guy, maybe the owner or some kind of manager because I was not wearing a face mask. Well, I am vaccinated and also find it hard to breathe with a mask on because of a pre-existing condition. We will not be back and I would recommend going elsewhere, like the Pizza Joint or Acropolis. UPDATE: As you can see from the owners response he is very unfamiliar with science and how vaccines work and he also missed the part about me not being able to breathe with a mask on. But it is all about his virtue signaling.

Ordered a Pizza, just moved so I have no silverware. I ordered a large pizza for $16. When I got home a block away, it was cold and uncut. I would of forgave it all, but the largest size was 14”. I feel the atmosphere of the interior and nice service was not enough to make up for the fact I’m still very hungry. I felt that the pizza wasn’t even that authentic tasting, was doughy and cheese was solid. Disappointed because it almost had 5 stars, must be all the wine.

This is the most authentic Neapolitan style Italian pizza that you will find nearby. After living in Naples, Italy for 3 years, it definitely brings back memories. It is a great atmosphere with the pictures and videos of Italy on the walls, and the Italian music playing in the background adds that extra feel of Italy.

Visiting from Florida and we discover the BEST PIZZA EVER! So glad that the Mello Mushroom had a huge wait and we ended up here. Awesome quality and taste. Get a 12” - you WILL finish it (or have some to rake home). Skip the Mello and hit up Apizza Di Napoli!

Albeit a bit expensive for a pizzeria, they do use fine ingredients and cook in an authentic Neopolitan way... the problem is, the owner. And if you read other reviews, you will see that Im not alone in this assessment. The owner, who is the one by the pizza oven, has no people skills. When you walk in, he does not acknowledge you, and when you leave he doesnt thank you... it appears that he thinks you should be honored to spend your money in his establishment. There are restaurants that have been in business for years where the food may not be the greatest, but the personality of the owners make up for it -- you may feel welcomed going there, so you return... here, its the opposite; the food is very good, but the aura let off by the miserable-looking owner (which transcends to the staff who appear to be frightened by him), along with his comments to the staff when customers walk away, is enough to make me never want to come back here. There are many other places that would welcome my $80 for 3 people. And to the owner -- before you reply, please do some soul searching... you are not a nice guy... youre not friendly... and you have no idea how to treat customers. We cant all be wrong about you.

After googling best pizza near me came across this place about a 40 minute drive from where we live and it did not disappoint. We were greeted a the door by a friendly gentleman and quickly seated. After looking at the touchless menu we decided to get 2 appetizers, calamari, and the fried mozzarella. The calamari was hot, crunchy, and tasted fresh. The fried mozzarella was very flavorful and did not have that frozen flavor like other restaurants. Next up was the pizza we tried the capricciosa. The crust was light and crunchy, the tomato sauce tasted homemade and not from a can, the toppings you could taste individually and not all mushed together like some places. The 12 pizza was plenty for me and my fiancé. Finishing off the meal was the wonderful cannolis. The filling was so sweet and had little hidden bites of chocolate chips in them and the outer shell was crispy and flavorful. The staff was friendly and cleared the table of any dishes that werent being used or were just in the way. The best part of the entire experience except for the food was the video they had playing on the wall. It made you feel like you were walking around Italy while you were enjoying a wonderful meal. Will most certainly be back here. Not sure how Im going to be able to eat other pizza since having this!!

The food was not bad, but certainly not what we had hoped for. The staff was very impersonal, short, and barely cracked a smile. The soda machine needs some maintenance. The environment could certainly use a boost as well. Sadly, this is a place is not on our “let’s go again” list 🥴

My first time coming today. They pointed us to a booth that was not cleaned the table and booth seats clearly weren’t cleaned from another customer. And I was told to scan a code to look at the menu thankfully I’m quite tech savvy but the older lady I was with wasn’t. No one came to ask how we were doing or anything. I understand we are in a pandemic but no customer service at all. I’ve been to other restaurants since they opened and received great customer service. I also got embarrassed when a employee yelled at the lady I came in with because she forgot to put on her masks to pay. The food was okay. I probably won’t be back.

This is most outstanding Pizzeria in the CSRA (Greater Augusta / Aiken area). They offer true Italian style pies as well as a few American favorites such as the New Haven (my favorite ) and Americano . If you are serious about pizza give them a try.

Very polite staff. Greeted upon entry. Good variety of food to choose from. Ordered 12 in pizza and salad to go. Our order was ready very quickly. When we got home, pizza was still warm. Our food containers were sealed with anti tamper stickers. Great flavors to include the wood burning stove flavors. Great food and experience. Recommend this restaurant and will go back.

My goodness just reading the Owner’s replies to the one star reviews makes me uncomfortable. But he does make great pizza, no doubt about that.Update: I ordered the pepperoni pizza today. Would still like a reply from the owner on why he doesn’t use old world pepperoni anymore. That pizza had a much better and authentic taste. It would have also been nice to feel more welcomed by the main staff (for example ask how my food is at least once instead of negatively commenting about my mask and phone conversation). Just a little ounce of Italian hospitality goes a long way.

Ordered a large pizza for pickup. It was an hour til pick up was c ready. The pizzawas maybe a medium in size. The crust was barely cooked and soggy and the pizza was uncut. Maybe the worst pizza weve ever had.

I walk in and my toes were not in the blue rug only my heals and he jumped me to move back 3 inches. Really? I also started towards the wrong door to exit and started correcting myself but was jumped all over by him for my honest mistake. I grew up in our family restaurant / catering business and am WELL WELL aware of the struggles trying to compete with the chains and making an honest name in the restaurant world. Customer service is critical! But when I returned back in for a refill I saw TWO people exit the incorrect door NOT a word said??! Sounded like they were regulars... At home where we came from we had a little Italy area. Had families from Northern Italy with wonderful authentic Italian food and had 2 special Southern Italy families that had their spin as well. DO MISS these wonderful friendly families and their restaurants. But good pizza not so friendly atmosphere.

The pizza was outrageously priced. And we both got one. It was just basically a lot of pizza dough and not enough toppings. I had to pay a six dollar surcharge and $1.50 for extra toppings. I did not get even close to $7.50 worth of toppings!!! I’m sticking with papa Johns. Had to go to the food lion and got a Digiorno for dinner. I paid $48.78 for two 12 inch pizzas which was basically a snack. They didn’t even come close to filling us up. First time ever here. Last time ever here. Go to PAPA JOHNS and get your moneys worth!! The old guy at the counter is very very rude.

So disappointing, our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered bruschetta, and salads for lunch. The presentation of the bruschetta was less than appealing, the topping was thrown on top of large slices of overly toasted bread. The flavor was equally disappointing, lacking freshness. The person that brought us our food seemed a bit put out when we asked for an extra salad dressing, she abruptly informed us, Ill get it for you, but its fifty cents. I got the impression we were suppose to get it ourselves, she could have been polite about it. The person that cleared our table hovered for several awkward minutes making small talk, while all we wanted to do was leave by this point.

It was a pleasant experience, it was our first time there. Pizza comes out just as described/ordered, has a very fresh original taste. Crust is thin but it allows the topping flavors to shine through. Atmosphere is relaxed and casual; after browsing menu you place order at front counter, self serve soft drinks and plates arent far away. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will visit again.
