If you want a trustworthy repair shop that wont lie to get more money for a repair thats non-existant/necessary, then take your car to this shop. They repaired the transmission for my 65 Mustang and double checked a supposed transmission leak that was non-existent on my 70 Chevelle. Another repair shop advised that I needed a transmission rebuild and Eagle Transmission verified there were no leaks at all. I really appreciate their great customer service & honesty..!!

Very disappointed I left from up there about one thing and a couple days later my car locks up! It won’t start, it won’t move, it’s won’t change gears HOW DID YALL NOT SEE MY CAR IS GOING TO LOCK UP! I feel like they did something to my car just so I can come back and get it fixed! That’s why they do a free diagnostic!!!! Would not recommend very upset. I should report them. They was nice but I don’t trust them!

Scott is amazing. He and his team have really done amazing work on my truck. Replaced the motor and rebuilt my transmission. So pleasant to work with and worth every penny. I have zero complaints. Just know they’re so good they are super busy so make sure to call before hand! Love this place and love the staff. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Only complaint is they don’t replace tires!!! That’s the last thing on my list haha 😂

Highly recommend! I recently took my car to Eagle in Addison after a couple awful experiences at chain repair shops. I came in late on a Friday afternoon and they had my car ready by noon on Saturday. Scott was incredibly helpful, honest and stayed in communication with me about the status of my car - not to mention he stayed a few minutes past close for me to pickup my car. The price is more than reasonable for the value of the services provided. I will be taking my car there for any future needs.

**Best service center**I went in here to checkup my Broken AC compressor on my car. Other places were charging money to even for an initial diagnose, but this place dis not charge anything. Made small adjustment to my compressor, made my AC running without any charge. Definitely going back to this place for any service on my car. Would recommend this place for a good quality service and very nice customer service.

Ive had some big repairs on my cars and Ive always taken it here for them. Never had even one issue with them. Theyve got much better quotes compared to the dealerships and try to save you as much as they can. Very very dependable shop!

I been to several repair auto shops including GM, and eagle transmission gave me great quality service at half the price that these other shops tried charging! Scott, the owner, is a great guy and his price and services can truly be trusted and better than all the competition!

I would say this is the best place to go if you have any transmission and auto care need to be done. Great customer service, they wont ask you to pay any extra like other places do. Also you have great deals if you look at their website and bring in the coupon. I have been this place twice so far and I saved at least 20% compare to other places.

I have a Toyota 2009 and out of know where last week I started to noticed my car was shifting improperly between 1st and 2nd gear and wasn’t going into overdrive/5th gear. I took my car to Toyota of Dallas, where I had the worst dealer experience in the 11 years I’ve had my car. They had me waiting 5+ for a diagnostic test on my transmission just to tell me that I need a new transmission because my heat sensor is broken. I asked my brother in law (who owns a body shop) what he thinks I should do and he recommended Eagle. I’m so thankful he did. Scott was such an amazing mechanic to speak with. They were going to replace my transmission for $3000 (which was $1500) less than Toyota wanted, but just as they were about to drop it they noticed the wiring from my engine to my transmission was shredded. So they gave me a call and told me instead of replacing my whole transmission and spending $3000, they wanted to try and replace the wiring and run the codes again to see if it fixed the issue. Low and behold it DID!! So not only did they save me $2000, they made me feel like I could trust them and will definitely be coming back for further services.I cannot stress this enough guys and girls!!! PLEASE COME TO THIS SHOP IF YOU ARE TIRED OF BEING RIPPED OFF MY BIG DEALERSHIPS AND WANT SOMEONE WHO WILL BE HONEST WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE WHOPE PROCESS! They worked on my car quickly, informed me of their diagnostic tests and completed a simple transmission fluid service to my car. After dealing with Scott, I have to wonder if thats literally all they did was look at my car and when I showed up, give me a bill with a comma on it...not Scott!Scott and his team at Eagle got in, dug around for a few days and found that the source of my issues was in fact the transmission. How those other shops missed it, I dont know. But we bit the bullet and trusted Scott to get us right, and boy did he ever! Now I cant speak for anyones car but my own, but before Scott, I wa averaging between 13.5-15 miles per gallon...now, Im getting 21.5 miles per gallon with a MUCH smoother ride!I cant say how pleased I am with his work enough, and I truly hope that skilled people like the ones at Eagle Transmission get the business they deserve! About 2 weeks ago the A/C in my car stopped working, I live in Texas and the heat plus humidity out here make it nearly impossible to survive without A/C. Scott was very helpful from the beginning with my phone call as to what I thought the problem was. He tried to trouble shoot on the phone and even stated that they could get the vehicle towed to the shop if needed. He listened and didn’t try to take “advantage” of the fact I was a female. He kept me informed during the process and then called back again for the completion. He helped turn the start of a bad day around.

They really took care of me! I took a car that I was thinking of buying to them to check out, I was blown away by the level of service I received. They gave me a bottle of water, hooked the van up to a computer to check codes, took me on a test drive, checked under the hood, and did a fabulous job, and then they told me it was NO charge!!! They even told me I was overpaying, and gave me good negotiating tips. These are stand up guys and I know that they will take care of me in the future. At the end, the owner with a twinkle in his eye said, bring me as many vans to look at as you like, till you buy one! Amazing.

These guys know their stuff when it came to my 11 Ford F250 AC. Already had it at a couple of other national shops and wasted money there. Well worth the drive across town. Reasonable and honest to boot. Everything you want in your mechanic.

A little more expensive than I expected but my car runs great. It did take 6 days for the repairs to get done and I had a rental car that added to the cost of the repair too. But overall I am happy that I am back on the road again.

Eagle Transmission has fixed very complicated AC problems on two of our cars as well as other car problems for which the solutions have seemed too elusive for other auto repair shops. This team really gets to the bottom of the car issue and I am so grateful to know where to take our cars for repair.

I had a transmission issue and other mechanic shops recommended the easy fix, rebuilding the transmission, which would have cost thousands. This location actually took the time to properly diagnose and fix my issue. Saving me thousands. Scott, the manager, was very helpful throughout the process. DO NOT USE THIS EAGLE TRANSMISSION IF YOU HAVE ANY CAR PROBLEM! My husband and I were having issues with my truck and I always used this company in the past. We thought that something might be wrong with the alternator but i was prepared if it was my transmission. I didnt know that the old owners had sold the company to JD and his wife Robin so i had my truck towed is that they could look at it. I called him a day later and told me that my truck was ready to go. So I went there and JD said that he fixed the issue but I needed to get an oil change ASAP because of how the truck was running. I thought that was odd but i was just happy that i only had to pay around $350 for the issue. I went and started my car and it barely started then it starting blowing white smoke and shut off on me. I started it again and the white smoke was blowing really badly. JD came out looking concerned and said to me that he told me that I needed to get it an oil change. Naturally, I was upset and we got into an argument. I told him that i didnt pay him to not know what was wrong with my truck and put a rubber band on the issue. I paid him to fix the issue. JD got mad as i will admit that I was a little loud but never disrespectful. I just simply wanted to know why I paid $350 and my truck wasnt fixed. JD told me to get off his property or he will have my truck towed. I took my truck up the street to David McDavids Lincoln in Plano where i bought my truck and they told me my transmission was gone and needed to be fixed. My problem with JD wasnt that my transmission went out but the fact that he tried to cover it up and didnt want anything to do with it. He should have refunded me my money like a good business owner but pretty much left me in the cold. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR. THERE IS A REASON FOR SO MANY BAD REVIEWS.

Eagle has always taken excellent care of me and my family! They have provided me with a diagnosis at no charge multiple times after looking over the vehicle for hours. They have always been fair and honest with me, telling me when something isn’t a big deal or to try and see if the manufacturer will fix it under warranty/recall. Several times they have told me if there is a cheaper solution rather than going through them. When I have had to actually have things repaired they have always been the most affordable as well after comparing against other shops. I really appreciate their directness and understanding with budgets and me as the customer trying be a smart shopper. I highly recommend them to anyone I can and will continue to bring all my vehicles here.

My car was towed there by roadside assistance with a ruined engine. They gave me a price for replacing the engine, which was more than I wanted to spend on the old car. Even not using their services, they gave advice, let me store the car there over the weekend til I could go get it, and helped me load it onto a tow dolly, and didnt want payment. Thats the kind of good service I look for in a mechanic shop.

I had to return the following day because they had to order parts needed for the repair. Very prompt and precision service. Wish there was a star lower than 1. Brought my car here about 2 months ago because it was overheating and asked them to check what it was before replacing anything, they went ahead and replaced the water pump without asking, and turns out it didnt need it, there was just air in the system. Alright fine aslong as it stopped overheating I was happy and paid $500. Brought it back now because it started overheating again and they didnt even bother looking at it. Would not recommend to anyone.

We recently selected the Eagle Transmission crew to work on our 2007 Dodge Diesel Truck and we could not be more satisfied!My wife and I traveled to the Dallas area on an extended business trip from Delaware when we noticed a sound under the front end of our truck. We looked on the internet and found 25 good reviews about Eagle Transmission. I called and spoke directly to JD and requested a service inspection. When we arrived, the family operated staff greeted us right away. JD put the truck up on the rack and inspected the drive train. Within minutes, his staff found a leaky differential and a bad u joint. We left the truck in their hands with an estimate of repair pending any other parts that needed to be replaced. They provided options to replace with a reconditioned part which would make our truck ready the next day or a new part which would extend the service to 2 days. So, we ordered the new u joint and JD called enterprise to pick us up. Later that afternoon, the staff called and advised that they had found a bad ball joint on the same side. We asked for an estimate prior to repair. Within an hour, JD called and advised of the cost for the service which we felt was reasonable.I am very happy with Eagle Transmission and would personally recommend their service to anyone. Great people!

I had a terrible experience here. The guys in the office were really nice and they seemed extra honest, but when it came down to communication and actually working on my car, they did not deliver. I bought a part with no previous knowledge of whether it would fit or not, so I let them know that upfront. I told them if it was the wrong part, I could easily return it and order the correct one. Something that they should have known the same day I took it in. If it didnt fit, it would only take about two days to get the correct part if needed. Well the part I purchased ended up not fitting so they told me they were going to do some research on it to figure out if they could make it work. 5 days later with no call or info on what progress has been made, I gave them a call to ask what the problem might be. They continued to say that they were still researching. So I took it upon myself to figure it out on my own. I asked them to read me my VIN # and went to work to find the answer since they hadnt yet. It took me 20 minutes to call around and figure out which part I actually needed, found the part on ebay, ordered it, and called the guys in the office to let them know that I figured out their 5 days of research in 20 minutes with no prior mechanic history or knowledge. A few days later I get the part to them, they still sit on it for 2 more days with no explanation as to why. I finally had to call my dad to go in and handle it for me....they got it done in 2-3 hours flat for him. Im not satisfied with the timeline and lack of communication here. I really had high hopes because Ive heard great things here. But I left feeling frustrated and helpless.

It was one of those days when your busy but all is going well for the amount of driving to get the job done. On the opposite side of town and of course it happens. Car wont start. Thought it was the battery but upon further examination car in park, but car rolls, and the dash indicator says Im in drive. So by now its late and I need to find something a little closer to home. So I checked out a local transmission shop to check their reviews and from reading just a few I choose Eagle Transmission on Midway road. So I called up thinking I was going to get an after hours service but it was the actual owner I was speaking to. I discussed with JD what had happened and he quickly gave me 3 scenarios that fit the symptoms. He gave me a rough idea of the cost. Had my car towed by Pro-Tow to his shop and in the morning was given great customer service,from just contacting me that they received the car, were going to get started on the diagnosis to calling me back with the amount that JD had given me over the phone which was more than a generous price, in my opinion, which saved my pocket book. They had my car fixed and ready to go before noon. And when you are a salesman, time matters. Upon entering the office, I noticed it was very clean and inviting and was greeted upon entering letting me know they recognized me as a customer. The shop, too, was well kept, and if you have seen other transmission shops before, hands down, you could tell they were organized and cared for their work environment. By all means, if you have any issues with the tranny or other mechanical problems, feel at ease if you want to patronize this established company.Thank you JD and crew.

Eagle Transmission is a very professional, honest, and customer friendly auto repair shop.They are located right next door to a Just Brakes (same building). I called multiple auto repair companies in Addison, and in Carrollton to see if they would install a set of front and rear rotors and break pads that I had purchased separately. Eagle Transmission was the only shop that would accept doing the work to install my own parts. They quoted me an estimate over the phone the day before I took my truck in, and the amount that I paid when they completed the work was exactly the same.Eagle Transmission also didnt do what every other repair shop has done in the past, which is tell me that my truck had other problems that needed to be repaired as well.I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have their car or truck worked on.

This is my shop from now on, top service, polite and complete explanation. On top of all that they dropped me off at work. Had a new ac replaced in half a day. I had a chain FS place telling me I needed unnecessary parts replaced, these guys couldve easily done the same but they were honest and that is the most important in my book. Shop the estimates around all you want but you will be coming back

My husband brought our car to this shop after it ran hot one day. They informed us that it would need a new engine, a radiator, and other things, which would cost over $4,279. We thought it was odd because it only ran hot one time so we didn’t think the damage would be that bad, but gave them the go ahead anyway. We pay $100/month for a subscription called Protect My Car(PMC) that helps us pay the bill whenever our car is in the shop. They paid a part of the bill, but my husband and I was still responsible for paying over $2,000. They allowed us to make payments to get the car back, which was a plus. But I was informed from PMC that a paper was signed by my husband so that Eagles Transmission could get their money from the company. I called my husband, he never signed a paper. I asked PMC to email me a copy of the paper so I could see the signature. The signature looks nothing like my husbands signature. So that means that they forged his signature so they could get paid. We finally got the car back from them, drove it 2 hours home. Once we got home, my husband noticed something was wrong. He checked the car, and there was NO COOLANT! They did not put coolant in the car despite the fact that PMC paid them $50 for the coolant. So now the car is running hot again. I called eagles transmissions to tell them and all he said was to put coolant in the car and he would reimburse us. No apology, no explanation. Nothing. He asked me if there was a leak. You just got paid over $4,000 and the car was there for months. If there was a leak, you should’ve noticed! Completely unacceptable.

My Lexus GX 470 needed a new exhaust and ABS system the dealership at park place gave me an estimate that I was about to salvage my vehicle, but to my good luck I stumbled upon eagle transmission the Scottish gentlemen who own the worksop are thorough gentlemen very honest people and believe in standing behind their words and work. They fixed my vehicle at an affordable and very reasonable cost to my utmost satisfaction. I recommend them to everyone. Do not go to the dealerships.

Duralast Alternator $200-$250 and $400 to put it on? No consideration of fair pricing got service rendered. They finally did the work.and I paid them. I am very reluctant to go to any new mechanic because theyre always so unreliable. Andrew, both of them, were so helpful throughout my cars repairs. There was a slight delay getting my parts (I brought my car in on Saturday afternoon, so no fault of the shop), and they could have price-gouged me for my rear drums, but they were honest and told me that they didnt need to be replaced. The shop always kept in close contact (I needed quite a bit of repairs), to discuss any concerns along the way.And they were spot-on with the repairs I needed.An amazing shop here with service that is highly recommended. One of the most honest mechanics you will find in the Addison. Went to Lindale, TX for a day out out with the fellows and took my car through some ruts (did not expect this trail to have them) on our way to the Cliffs and damaged my oil pan gasket. Unbeknownst to me, I did not know that I had damaged my vehicle until I saw oil dripping from the bottom. My man JD clearly explained everything to me and laid out the best plan of action in fixing my car. He explained to me the pros and cons of everything and I felt very comfortable. By the next day, he had the parts ordered from Toyota and had my car fixed for a very moderate price point. I will now bring my vehicle to JD and his folks over at Eagle Transmissions and highly recommend them!!! JD is the man!

Let me tell you something customers: JD is simply the best when it comes to excellent customer service and excellent quality repairs. Actually, I recommend this shop to anyone looking to fix a transmisssion or any other repairs. please, dont take a chance and look anywhere else because youll be sacrifying honesty and cost.

Well my transmission went out. Got it towed there at my expense, trying to get my warranty to cover it. 100% help till then. Turned out my warranty wasnt going to cover it, after I had given a $400 deposit to start working on it. They packed my disassembled transmission in a box and had me pick it up because I couldnt afford to fix it. So where did my 400 bucks go?

I needed my 700r4 tv cable adjusted on my 88 monte carlo and call several transmission shops in the area that wanted over $100.00 bucks just to adjust a tv cable. Called Eagle transmission and spoke with Andrew and he told me to bring my car in, and they would adjust it at no charge. I found Andrew to be straight forward and honest and would definitely recommend speaking with him regarding your transmission repairs. Not everyday do you find a transmission shop thatss not trying to rip you off and when you do find a transmission shop thats honest it definitely feels good to know one that will keep it honest.Thanks Andrew

I JUST WANNA START BY SAYING BOTH OF THE ANDREWS THAT WORK THERE ARE VERY HONEST. IM 33 YEARS OLD AND HAD OVER 22 CARS. . THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE AND ONLY PLACE U SHOULD TRUST. I WILL START BY SAYING I WENT TO 2 OTHER PROFESSIONAL CAR SHOPS BEFORE I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO EAGAL TRANS. BOTH SHOPS SAID I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION. SO I GOT VERY NERVOUS KNOWING I CANT AFFORD 1200 OR 1500 . SO I TOOK IT,IN ANDREW HAD IT ABOUT 2 HOURS AND FOUND ALL I NEED WAS MY WIRES TO BE HOOKED UP TO THE TRANS. I take back my statement. They had my truck for over a month because of a nationwide backorder on a washer for my transmission. They had lost the hardware to my y pipe and just threw on some nuts that do not fully clamp my y pipe to my headers so I have an exhaust leak. They also lost the bracket to my air intake so now it sets lopsided in my engine bay. Kinda mad they couldnt keep track of parts on my truck.

I took me 2006 jeep in to Eagle Trans of Addison after my regular mech. told me that I need a $1200 to $1500 new transmission or I can take it to a Transmission shop for a second opinion. I stop by Eagle for a chat. The guys put it on the lift and checked it out in under 30 mins. The manager told me that I was missing a $20 relay that someone had removed from the transmission. Weird Luck for me. The guys are a rare find. Saved me over a grand easy. Honest to god Mechs.Thanks guys, J.T.W
