Love this store! Hadn’t been there in a few years and I feel like they really stepped it up. Very organized and the girls are awesome. New favorite place to get clothes!

Do not go here. The store isn’t organized well and the staff are not friendly and they didn’t even notice I was in line until I said something. I hate shopping here and I can never find what I’m looking for. The return policy is also not great. You can have your receipt and tag, but they won’t refund it. They will give you store credit and I do not want to shop here again. Just do not shop here. I’d rather pay full price than shop here. No exaggeration.

Great customer service and wide variety of items to choose from. There were alot of hidden gems in there for awesome prices! My daughter says that she definitely wants to come back.

You never know what amazing deals or finds you will pickup here. Definitely a good place to go shopping. Always a go-to especially when you need a fit for the low.

The people working in the store, looked at my items, made a face to one another, proceeded to have me check in, let me look around for about 3 minutes, called mine name and rudely told me that they couldn’t go through my bin due to their being underwear in there (while smirking to one another). I had some old boxers I would wear around the house in the tub (freshly laundered). I don’t mind someone telling me they can’t go through a bin due to undergarments being present, but they acted as if I had come in off the streets trying to sell dirty underwear. Unprofessional store. I will only be using Platos closet from now on.

I’ve come to this location a few times. I always find better items at Kennesaw and Woodstock. I’ve sold here a couple of times before with no problem. I took my items to the store and did what I’ve done with my items every time I’ve sold here before. I washed and dried them the night before and I cleaned up all of the shoes I had. I was informed they would not accept any items because they had an odor and saw a hair on one item. I went back to my car and pulled everything out and smelled everything one by one and had my friend who was with me smell each item as well and we could not find any odor and I was confused because I washed and dried everything before bringing them here. There was even one Calvin Klein dress never worn with the tag on it still that they would not accept. I did find one of my light hairs on a black dress so it did stand out. But seriously? I’ve always thought this location wasn’t as good as the others but have never had this issue before. I will not be coming back to the Acworth location. Woodstock and Kennesaw are much better options!

We LOVE REGAN!!! Regan is EVERYTHING! I came in last minute needed a 60s outfit for my daughter’s event . Customer service 5 stars! And my daughter loved her outfit! Regan I’ll be back. Walked in when opened. Rude 2 women staff. I had to say morning hd I was the first person there and they did NOT want to Speak to me. I looked around for a little bit and walked out because I will not buy anything at a store where the staff is rude no reason for that

#1: I encourage anyone that sells items to Uptown - look up going price & reject their offer if you feel youre getting screwed.#2: I made a very bad decision. I didnt HAVE to take offer. Like I said...I made a bad decision.#3: I had a HIGH DOLLAR Name brand pair of  sunglasses that have NEVER BEEN WORN & also a pair of sandals that have NEVER BEEN WORN.#3: Im mad at myself. Im embarrassed & wont even say amount I accepted. Oh but they woulda given me an extra $7.50 if I spent in their store.Its called Uptown CHEAPSKATE because they buy at bottom dollar. Im so mad at myself.Bottom line - youd be better off donating to Goodwill & writing off on your taxes.PS They said a fake hello to me each time I walked in & out.

Pros:-Great customer service, every cashier I have had has been so nice and explained everything to me fully.-Selling here was very easy and I felt like I got a fair price for my clothes.-I love that they have a designated spot for workout clothes and they have a great selection.-So many shoes!Cons:-The place is 95% clothes and 5% empty room. If you’re claustrophobic don’t come here. More than one person can’t fit in an aisle.-Since they put so many clothes onto the floor you have to really dig to find stuff. And the organization is just terrible.-They don’t have shopping carts nor do they offer a dressing room while you shop so carrying more than a few items while also pushing thru people and looking through the tight packed clothes and getting your hangers caught on stuff is legitimately a workout. My Apple Watch says so. I guess that could be a pro.-I was excited to go to some big sale they were texting and emailing me about where everything was 75% off. I get there and they tell me the sale items are in a bucket outside. I go squat over a bucket in 85 degree heat and all of the clothes in it look like they came from wal mart 15 years ago.

This place was really interesting.....very well maintained. I love the off the wall places.....people were shopping, happy.......very cool

Good lord you better get there at 10 am to try and sell anything. They won’t take your clothes after 6:30, which is 7 on the website, but if you try to come in at 6:35 they will turn you away. I’ve never had issues like this until today. I called to ask about this issue and the woman would not answer our questions and blamed the corporate office for the wrong time on the website (and the door to get in the shop). Don’t get me wrong, the girl was sweet on the phone but did not make any sense. Next time I try to sell to them i will be waiting by the door at 10 to make sure they get me in. I just wish they would post the time that they actually stop buying clothes.

I’ve been shopping here for quite awhile. I find some amazing stuff every time I go here.There is lots of great deals on brands I love. All the employees are super nice. Last time I went the employee Samantha was super helpful and nice. She helped me find some super cute stuff.

This store can have some great deals but has rude staff. I’ve been twice with my cousin and both times, no one greeted us when we walked in but greeted other customers. The workers would even walk past me and not acknowledge me, but they would ask other customers how they were doing. I prefer the Kennesaw location because they make me feel more welcomed.

Need to learn customer service. If I am standing at your counter ready to pay someone needs to acknowledge me. I stood behind a guy that you waited on but after he left you just left me there standing. No indication that I would be next. I will be sure to tell my friends not to bother.

Do not come to this place! Absolutely terrible. Sat around for more than an hour just to have them tell they thought I left the store so never called my name. Biggest waste of your time definitely go to Plato‘s closet to give you more money too.

Came into uptown earlier today for the first time daviana helped me find the nicest shoes and created me and account definitely coming in all the time for the low prices now!!!!

$15-18 for pants seemed to be the average. For used clothing thats a hit much for me... I can go to ross, Burlington, tj maxx, and marshalls and get some of these same pants for cheaper or the same price brand new. Also could go to the thrift store down the street and theyd be priced around $5-8. Not my cup of tea imma go down to Ross

Sara and Avery have always been so great when i come in to sell i was incredibally surprised the first time that i came in to sell all my shoes at the amount of shoes they bought i also received a much better payout than i thought i was going to get.Overall a great place to shop or sell at!

I call ahead before I brought anything to the store, they said sure well buy them we take those things, then when i get there they say that the stuff is not the style theyre looking for. And wanted me to donate the items. Im talking $500 of things easily. So they will get to check out my style now and it doesnt include these idiots.

We went only about a half hour after they opened and it was relatively quiet. Staff was not welcoming and did not seem to be doing anything other than talking to one another. The layout of the clothes was a little hard to understand and figure out. I personally wasn’t a huge fan but others may be.

Came to donate/sell at 6:40 website states they stop accepting donations an hour before they close. Door states their buying hours are from 12-7. I show up and they state they stop taking people at 6:30. Struggled with 4 bags of clothes just to be turned away. Very dissatisfied......

Clean store, nice + friendly staff, quality items. It’s a good place to shop. However, selling to them isn’t really worth it. They don’t look through all your items. I saw items they were selling that were of much lower quality than items I brought in. It’s happened every time I’ve tried to sell to them. Great place to shop, but not to sell.

Uptown cheapskate in Acworth is the best store you could possibly go to on your free time. Chloe is the best employee customer service wise.

Worst customer service. The manager should not be managing at all. They just lost a loyal customer. Ill rather take my money to Platos than to give it to a store that doesnt care for there customers. Worst experience I ever had. They rip you off and do not care. Stay away from this store.

I was surprised what yaw offer me for mine brand new shoes you could tell they wasnt ever worn and offer me a really cheap price for them.How much will yaw give me for a brand new mans pants,a new dresses,brand new gel finger polish,and a swim suit?

Clean store. Sometimes a little too much stuff on the racks makes it hard to pick stuff. And It would probably be ideal to let you know when you pick store credit it’s only good for their ONE location and not others.

Great findings here for a great deal! Have found some very lightly used clothes for a great deal! Some stuff clearly way overpriced though since used. Sell your own clothes and get cash, or store credit and you get I think like double the cash amount if you do store credit!

They have 50 pairs of dirty worn shoes in there but they want to be picky about what they buy. Doesnt make any since. Brought some Jordans in there. Not very dirty. And not worn very much. The inside were still clean. And they said no cause they are too worn. And it seems pretty hypocritical of them considering the shoes they have on the shelves are junk.

Store doesn’t really carry good quality clothes or business casual, a lot of very well used beat up shoes, very disorganized.Tried selling brand new items there With tags!!! and they didn’t even look through the bag and turned items away and I saw items they were selling that were of much lower quality than items I brought in for sell. Don’t waste your time .

I shop here frequently & my visits are always received well. The staff is polite and cooperative when asking about something. As far as the inventory its The thrill of the find you have to take time and look, Ive found plenty of gems. They even have a reward system which is decent.✌

Enormous waste of time. Took in 30-40 items in good, wearable condition (all season dresses, tank tops and long-sleeve shirts). Kept an eye on my items to see when they started going through them. My items were on the counter untouched, I look away to browse for less than two minutes, then hear my name called. I was told that most of my items were summer (they weren’t) and out-of-style (you can find all these styles in stores right now). No way she did anything but look at the couple items on the top and decide she couldn’t be bothered to go through my items, some of which still had tags on them. Just lied to my face. So many things on their shelves are dirty, old-fashioned, and in unwearable condition. I have no idea what their criteria is for taking anything. Wasn’t worth the gas to drive there.

I went to sell clothes and I brought in a giant bag of clothes. With both summer and winter and they said it was all out of season. But I know they didn’t go through the whole bag cause summer stuff was at the bottom. They only bought 4 items and I made 12 dollars. When pants are 22.

Came in to sell some clothing today and after looking through it not a single item was purchased. I was told my clothing wasn’t clean enough however everything was freshly laundered. If you don’t want my clothing just tell me, don’t insult me by telling me I didn’t wash my clothes.

A lot of the shoes are over priced for the quality. I seen a pair of dirty converse there and it was price the same as New Converse from Ross. I like to price match and roam different stores and I notice Some things wasn’t worth the price. They had a pink jacket with the logo fading away just a $3 dollar difference than a new one from the Pink Store.Not worth it.For all the people that never been here. They make you pay for your own bags. You have to pay extra for each bag you receive. So beware!

Great store in so many different ways! I love the brands the store focuses on buying to keep in the store! Great service the ladies are always eager to help, great products new and used, very well organized, clean! Always look forward to shopping with this store!

Just attended the “sidewalk sale”. Makes absolutely no sense to not have dressing rooms open (which is not posted on the door at all, only on their social media sites). Their reasoning was they “have people come and block up the dressing rooms with hundreds of items from the sidewalk sale”. Ok...enforce the 10 item limit and make them get back in line for the dressing room. Absolute waste of my time sorting through bins on the sidewalk that aren’t even in order by gender, let alone by size. Completely disappointed that I made a trip out here for this, and completely disappointed by the customer service when I just wanted to try on a few shirts. Will not be back.

This was my very first time here and I loved it they were currently having the buy one get one free blue sticker sale and I got such a great deal. I love the Woodstock n Acworth location I will definitely be back!

The young ladys here are sweet and explain everything about the process. I didnt like that you have to put your drivers license number in their system to sell your clothes. it took about thirty minutes for them to look through everything and I only got $35. its better than nothing but for the quality of my clothes I was kind of annoyed.

Stopped by today to buy some shirts for my husband and left with tons of stuff for me! They had items of all sizes, and in good condition. Things were easy to find and correctly labeled so shopping was a breeze! I will be returning tomorrow to shop again!

As a mom of two teenage daughters, its difficult to always get them the things that they want. I love the selection that Uptown has, as well as the prices! I take them to Uptown and they can go crazy because Im not spending $60 on a pair of jeans. You may not always find what theyre looking for on your first trip, but I guarantee you that if you go back, youll find what youre looking for and then some!

I have never got success at this place. I have been trying to go there for years and they never take anything and if they do, they give back like $5. The staff has never been nice. And they overprice everything. Used nike shoes for $42.99.... really? I took 2 bags of name brand clothes and they took nothing! I will not go back and I will not recommend it.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at this store. I brought in a large amount of quality clothing to sell, most of it with the tags still on it. They took almost 20 items of my clothing and offered me only $50 for all of it. There were several items in there that were priced at $30-50 and still had tags on them, never even worn. So, I feel like $50 was realllly low for all of those items.

First time in the shop and very bad experience, I should have read the reviews before going.The same BS.....clothes out of style.I will never go to this shop again.

Dropped off clothes to sell to them. They didnt inform me it takes 24 hours for them to look through a bag of clothing. 24 hours for one bag of clothing. We waited 20 minutes like they said and they didnt get to it. So we went to run an errand and come back over an hour later and they tell us that we lost our spot in line because we left? Like what kind of policy is that? They dont value their customers time. The people at the front were rude and unkind. Just a heads up. Sell your clothes elsewhere. Dont waste your time here.

Yeah, they don’t give as much as you want for things. Are SUPER picky but what they don’t take, you can have donated to a women’s battered shelter. I didn’t want to give my clothes to goodwill so I was happy about donating to Lost Mountain Baptist church.

First time that I went I couldnt wait to go back. But when I went back today it was okay. They didnt buy any of our things which I didnt understand but its all good. Took to Platos and they did.

I went in this afternoon to sell three bags of clothing. We told them that we had somewhere to be and asked if we could just drop them off. They said no but that we would only have to wait 20-30 minutes. 45 minute later I saw my bags sitting to the side and I asked if we were done and they acted surprised and said oh yea here you go. Upon receiving my bags they had STAPLED through my bags to attach some note. These bags are not cloth therefore it left holes in them. They just ignored me when I mentioned it. Dont trade clothes there if you dont want your stuff retuned with holes. Plus they only too 3 things. Way too picky.

My favorite place to shop! Uptown has the hottest fashions and all of the brands I love for practically 1/4th of the retail price. It is practically the only place I show & they are always super nice. They also are really efficient when buying my clothes. LOVE THIS STORE!!!!

I loooooved all the clothing and shoes but I couldnt even look at anything because I was being watched like a hawk. For the love of god, STOP STARING. I dont understand if they thought I was stealing or just didnt want to do their job but it was SO uncomfortable and unsettling. It makes for a really awkward and irritating experience. Tell your staff to mind their own business.

Super disappointed with my interaction at this Acworth, GA.store. I purchased 2 pairs of shorts and 2 shirts form my son. My mistake was I purchased the wrong size. Went back within 24 hours to return and the clerk said she could take the clothes back. Several reasons, all not valid to me, I had my receipt, I did not even want my money back, just exchange for the right size. I pleaded with the clerk who could care less she was losing a good customer. Stay away, they dont care about your business they just want your money. I hate this type of business.

Cheapskate is the word for it I got four dollars for a jacket and was asked if I wanted to donate designer jeans and shirts, next time I will just donate to good will and save the time and gas. I strongly do not recommend!

If you want to go to Uptown Cheapskate, take the extra time and go to the Cumming location. Theres a much better selection along with much friendlier people.The Acworth location is very dirty and the employees arent very friendly. They make it seem like an inconvenience when you want to try on clothes and when you return clothes to them (even on the hangers) that you didnt like. Save yourself a wasted trip.I wont be back to this location.

First and foremost, I was greeted with an attitude the second I approached the counter. It was pretty busy, and the girls behind the counter made it very clear that they were annoyed to have to deal with another customer. So - I came in with 3 trash bags of clothes, all tied closed with double knots, and was told after waiting for over an hour that they couldn’t accept ANY of my clothes... not one single thing from 3 full trash bags. When I asked why, they said “wear and tear”, but when I pointed out that I’d been watching and they never even opened any of my bags (which were still double knotted), they just told me to have a good day and blew me off. I understand it was busy, but that doesn’t mean you should be able to pick and choose when you want to do your job.

I always find great deals and get a reasonable amount for what I sell. Love this store

If you have some clothing items that are in good condition and want a little cash. This is a good place to go. The prices are low but if you need some cash try them out.

There was a pair of shoes for $30 that had the bottoms coming off. I saw several other shoes that werent even cleaned off or anything that they were trying to sell for a ridiculously high price. If youre going to sell something, make sure it is actually presentable. The staff was also unfriendly.

Broughtt in 7 pairs of $75+ heels that literally have never been worn, 10 pairs of slightly worn vans that i washed and dried before bringing in, as well as 3 black trash bags full of clothing. I understand not wanting to give it your best 100% of the time, but the 2 girls that went thought the bags, barely even opened them, moved the stuff around, and after not even 10 minutes, they called me back and offered $6 cash for 2 things. I understand you guys have a large inventory, but not even looking at the clothes, come on. there aren’t many ways college kids can make extra money, especially with this store being right next to Kennesaw a state. Just frustrating, but i’m sure they just had an off day, so i’ll be sure to give it another try again.

Very poor customer service and unprofessional. Tried to sell clothes to them but forgot my i.d. so i could not, i asked the girl if i could leave my bag of clothes on the counter while i shopped and after checking out- i went to get my bag and they had put someone elses name and information on MY bag of clothes and that person would’ve gotten MY money. So obviously i was upset about it bc they pretty much lost my bag and the girl was not apologetic AT all. She had horrible customer service and i will NOT be going back to the acworth location.

I come here all the time to sell my clothes for some quick cash, theyre always very friendly, albeit a tad fake. But for what Im going there for, theyre good.

Took 4 black trash bags of clothes into Acworth stores was there not even there 45 mins. Was told several times that I could go seat down but decided to walk to Kroger for a snack and drink. Come back to be offered $60 cash money for 11 items! They did not go through all the bags! Im a trusting person! They got me for a Guess purse and wallet, D&B purse & wallet, another purse and to top it off with putting to tshirts on top of them in the corner! AND then the nerve to ask me if I want to donate the OH YES! the bags of clothes I took to sale!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES THERE! ALL I HAVE TO SAY GIRLS KARMA WILL BITE YOU IN THE BUTT BIG TIME!

This place is not “cheap” by any means. Most expensive thrift store I’ve been to. A lot of shirts are $20-$30. No way I’m paying that much for someone’s used clothes.

Used lucky jeans for 20 or so. Saw some gap selvedge raw that had never been worn or washed for 15. Wish they had fit. Couple pair of real clarks but they were both expensive. Wallabees for 60 I think. Anyhow, fed some good deals floating around. Doesnt drink or anything like goodwill haha.
