Brought the outboard into the Acworth store for a water pump check on MondayNovember 18. Good weather predicted as I didnt want boat sitting out in the rain. Was told it would be ready to go by that Friday.Friday comes, havent heard anything so I call. Well, my Johnson man decided to stay deer hunting another week and he wasnt here this week but well get it for you next weekCalled back on Monday to see if the Johnson guy had made it back and asked if be might wander in at some point and fix my motor before Thursday, Thanksgiving day. Well, the old guy said, IM NOT SURE IF LAMAR WILL BE IN THISWEEK OR NOT. Well, I asked, does Lamar have a phone?Gave him a hour and went and collected my boat.What a piss poor operation!Employees can go deer hunting and leave your customers hanging? I missed several good fishing days. Management doesnt expect their employees to show up? And security was none existent. When I pulled in the frontlot and started hooking the boat to my truck no body even came to see who I was or what I was doing. And since it had rained over that weekend, pumped about 10 gallons of water out of it.

Just bought a new Ranger RT188 from these folks. Was going to get it from Cabalas, but the people at Dalton Marine were really helpful, installed upgraded electronics that I had picked out, ordered a few extra items I wanted, all with no hassle. I made the right choice.
