I sat on my glasses and both lenses popped out, they repaired them quickly and even tho I didn’t by then there, they didn’t charge for the repair. They have a sign that basic repairs are free but a 2.00 donation to the local food pantry would be appreciated. I gladly donated

I can’t give 5 stars because they don’t stock contact lenses. They obviously focus on eyeglasses. I admit they have a huge selection and the staff is helpful, but I don’t like having to wait for my contacts

My prescription changed and I wanted to reuse my frame, a store at the mall said the frame was too old ( 2 years old). Ed said there was no problem using my frame and even cleaned it so it looked brand new

Agreed with many negative reviews; as I am one of them with the gentlemen (ONLY ONE MAN IN THE STORE EYEGLASSES SIDE) who works there extremely cares less for customers as he will spit on your face with rude words/treatment. Wonder why though, we are giving him business and he treats us bad. I normally dont give BAD REIVEWS but for this gentlemen I AM HAPPY TO DO IT AND MY VOICE NEEDS TO BE HEARD by the owner, if he is the owner then it is too bad, he will still treat us BAD. Not ready to go and see this man again, no more. But the other service people and optometrist are good.

Terrible experience the first pair of glasses were too dark but the owner didnt care after i said I will try them but will be back if i dont like them .well no satisfaction from him when i returned. I had another pair of transition glasses purchased where he got the glasses made incorrectly again..... do not patron this business all they care about is over charging folks claiming to be a local business who we locals should visit and charge outrageous prices for frames and lenses . pressure tactics and manipulation is their way of doing business. go anywhere else please .i depend on these glasses for driving, if i get into an accident i will sue Precision vision great rd acton

I would highly recommend Precision Vision in Acton to anyone looking for glasses. The selection was the largest I have seen in the area and I have been to many local stores. The service was fantastic. Ed was helpful with his experience and knowledge. He was very informative about not only the frames and lenses but also helped me with an itemized receipt for my forever torturous FSA. The turnaround was shockingly fast compared to other stores I have used. Where it was a month at another local optical store, Precision Vision was days. Having glasses since I was four, going to buy a pair was never fun or a great experience. It was something that I had to do. Precision Vision turned that around for me. I highly recommend. Thank you!

The person who answers the phone needs a class in serving customers. When I asked if I could have a pair of glass I bought online adjusted for a fee, which for $35 is reasonable, he proceeded to tell me I bought a subpar product when he has neither seen or knew of the source. Avoid this bully at all cost. It’s important to support local businesses, especially during this economic downturn but sadly, Darwin’s theory should be applied here.

Have had nothing but good luck there with the staff. I see them offering discounts a lot so have poke around. At about eight months into my new glasses, the frames of the ones I picked developed an issue with the screws backing out on their own (bad thread) and they replaced them free of charge. Easy to get in and get appointments. Fast too.

Weve used Precision Vision for many years. Theyre fast at filling eye glass prescriptions. Theyve a good selection of frames, with some at a reasonable price.I also like that theyll do quick frame adjustments for free (perhaps only on glasses purchased from them, not sure about that), with the option to donate some $s to the local food pantry. They advised that the best and safest way to clean glasses, especially coated ones, was to use dishwashing liquid instead of those disposable eyeglass cleaning pads. Weve changed to that approach and it works really well.Cant recommend them enough.

I stopped in to have spectacles that I did NOT purchase there adjusted. The owner(?) told me that the charge would be $65. !!!!!!! I responded that I understood that he had his overhead, but that fee seemed excessive. He explained that a recent test case in Penna. now meant that any optician working on glasses that they had not personally fabricated required a test of the prescription, etc.I was skeptical, and asked the optician at The Eye Institute Of Boston. He told me that it was completely untrue. So, make of that what you will, but I will certainly not be returning.

High Prices, Average OptometristThey are a typical optometrist, nothing great or special. Try to upsell you on the eye scan, but thats common for eye doctors. Charge $10 extra to have you put in your contacts and them to look at them and tell you they are fine. They have a great selection of frames, but the prices are very high. I got a pair from them, and it ran me about $120 even after insurance for a middle of the road set of glasses and lenses. The funny part is that I wound up losing the glasses and having to replace them. I found the exact same model and bought them online for the same price WITHOUT insurance. I can understand some markup, but 100% is pretty silly.

Wake up to see how other businesses operate in 2017, sorry, its almost 2018. It would be hard to support this local small family biz if they keep running this shop without any respect to their customers. In less than 10 minutes, 2 potential customers canceled the appointments because of their receptionist and left. In short, Unprofessional, lack of common sense or perhaps Ignorance, rude/arrogant. Stay away from them and dont waste your time there for your own benefit! They dont even deserve 1-star.

Horrible service. Ridicules patients. Doesnt work with patients to correct problems. Arrogant and rude. Stay away.Lenses are cut too big. Screws never stay in. Once they used screws too small for the holes and when I tried them on the lenses fell out. Wouldnt you know it was my fault for moving the frame after I put them on. Bad news....find another place. And there is more. Had an eye exam with optomitrist there who said my astigmatism got so much better which he felt was hughly unusual. But he wrote my script and I purchased over $1000 with of lenes and frames. Got my first pair and had difficulty seeing. Kept going back telling Ed the optician that I cant see well and the only way I could see well in all lighting situations was to tilt my frames to a ridiculous angle. He told me I was imagining things, told his coworker that I was going to drove him nuts and would not help me. Not even the optometrist would check his numbers. Told me to go elsewhere. So I did. They found his prescription way off. They told me he neglected to take into account my astigmatism. I went back to Precision Vision and showed them the new script. They refunded my money and told me it was still my problem....my eyes were the problem...not them. I got my new glasses at the new optomitrist and I see beautifully...no problems. And there is more. Precision vision used two different brands of progressives lenses in my glasses...one brand for the right eye and another for the other eye. This should not happen. And they cut the lenses too big so the frame cant close completely. This place needs to close.
