Horrible dealership experience. Due to Covid (I assume anyways- I wouldnt know since no one talked to me), theres only about 8 or so cars on the lot. Which I completely understand. What I dont understand is how you can completely ignore your customer and act like they dont exist. My fiancee and I arrived to look for a particular Hyundai. I found another. There was one salesmen helping a mother/daughter. We got out of the car and began looking. He stayed with them about 10-20 feet away from us. Made eye contact but didnt acknowledge. Okay. I dont need help. Im self-sufficient. We spent 15-20 minutes looking around at the 8 cars. I wasnt going to go track down someone. I already wasnt sure about looking at this brand anyways. There was only the 4 of us (2 sets of pairs) in the entire lot, including inside. We decided to leave. As we are trying to leave, a guy comes from the inside and tries to wave us down. No, Thank you. The current lot salesmen couldnt even provide an acknowledgement, just blankly stare and not say anything to anyone. Horrible customer service. I didnt need anything important but I did have a few questions. As someone who works in retail management, basic customer service and multi-tasking goes a long way. However, this shows it wasnt worth my time.

There are so many important things to highlight about this place. For one, the staff is really great and friendly. I kind of had The Office vibes when I arrived. Very chill and relaxed. Also they were incredibly patient with me trying to relay information through phone calls and text messages with family members. Throughout the entire process I felt the staff wasnt super pushy and let me make the big purchase on my own. Once it was all said and done the saleswoman even made a video of how the phone app that connected to the car worked as well! Seriously who does that?! Thanks a bunch Kori and you have no idea how much I appreciate the jumps and hurdles you went through for me. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this spot if youre looking into more genuine people to work with you rather than just seeing you as extra cash in their pocket.

Star Hyundai is a big town dealer with a small town feel. Everyone from the owner to the service is very personable. Eric the service manager tells you whats up and keeps you informed of all procedures.

Oil change was priced as expected. Actually it was cheaper than listed on website. $46 for my 2019 Santa Fe. I also brought to their attention that 2 of my cup holder prongs were sticking in and broken. They asked if I wanted to do it another time since it may take awhile since I didn’t have an appointment and they would have to take the center console off. I said we could schedule for another time. After oil change was done, and after I paid Eric said they were also able to fix the prongs in the cup holder. Free of charge too! Eric and his staff are the best!

I have received great service each time I have taken my Santa Fe in, both times had an oil change. They were very timely and friendly. I also had tires rotated and an 18 pt inspection done.

Purchased an used vehicle from Star on 3/29/17 the entire experience was easy and laid back. Our sales rep was Josh Pedroza and while every one we came in contact during our purchase from beginning to end Josh was the best. Not only knowledgeable and professional he was strait forward and seemed very honest which is a breath of fresh air when buying a car. I have bought over 15 cars in my life time and from experience know finding a guy like Josh is rare. I would definitely recommend if you in the market for either a new or used vehicle give Josh and Star a try. Oh and Josh has a great sense of humor which is nice as well.

Went in after having a horrible experience with another dealership, and I was glad I did. Our salesman, Josh Pedroza, made the car buying experience so incredibly easy and enjoyable. My husband and I are pretty young and he didnt try to take advantage of us or make us feel like we were not informed on buying a car. This is a friendly, and enjoyable establishment to go if you are in the market for a new car.

Not pushy about selling you a car, but even had someone waiting outside to help me out and introduce themselves. Prices were average for what I was showed, but the sales people made me feel welcome even though I do look a bit on the younger side and normal get overlooked.

Purchased a Dodge Caliber RT from this place in July of 2009. Enjoyed my experience so much, we came back to purchase my grandfather a Hyundai Sonata in 2015. Both vehicles have been all over this country, from dallas to Kansas to Colorado to the Grand Canyon. The dodge has had several services done at the shop on site and theyve always been friendly, courteous, helpful and fair priced. Both vehicles were a great price and our trade-in values couldnt be beat! I highly recommend them and the owner, Mike, is an amazing and friendly man. Nobody was high pressure and everyone had a smile on their face, like they had won the lottery!

I have used Star Dodge Hyundai twice in Abilene Texas. I was in need of an oil change and they got me in right away. They also gave me 6 months road hazard warranty for tires, towing, car rental included with the oil change. I was told I could also use it in Canada.I told my dealership in Calgary, Alberta about this offer and they said they couldnt do that in there Dealership. The last time I had my oil changed at my Dealership, they left oil all over the top of the motor. They did clean it off after I said something about it. I have not been back there for an oil change since then.The next time Im in Abilene I will stop by Star Dodge Hyundai for an oil change and a coffee.
