We are on an 8 week retirement vacation in our new ram 3500 Cummins and needed our first oil change went to Star and Robert in the service department took care of us got us wrote up and got it started they even did the 48 point inspection while we were there just to make sure all was good. The Star difference is amazing, I am so glad that I spent the little extra money. I promise you it is worth it!!! My Jeep has beautiful oversized tires and unfortunately I ran over a nail. Of course it ended up being the the wall of the tire and could not be repaired! I completely forgot that I had purchased the Star difference and proceeded to obtain a qoute for a new tire at Sams club. A new tire to match the others was going to cost ~$700. I was so upset trying to figure out how we could afford to fork out that unexpected cost, then I remembered that I bought the special warranty package through Star! The tire and service was completely free of charge and covered under warranty. I promise you, you will not regret buying this plan because the odds are, you are going to get a flat in the next 5 years, break your key fob or get a rock in your windshield (all of which can be expensive)! Speaking of which I just had to get a rock chip repaired in my windshield as well. I have the worst luck but this package has already paid for itself. Extra thank you to Star because the service members are so kind and helpful! Its always nice doing business with a company that truly puts customer service first.
Be careful. They won’t give you fair trade for your vehicle. They wanted to give me 25k for my car when I had done my homework and knew that they could price it close to 36k. That’s a 10k difference. I’ve had multiple dealerships tell me that they are not out to make money on my trade. I had a dealership previously tell me they would give me 30k and it was a battle negotiating to 28k. Then they told me that they could actually mark up the truck I was wanting to by another 5k. I drive by the lot and they have my car priced at 35k. What did I say? Anyhow, got what I wanted but don’t feel like I was treated fairly. I’ve worked in business for long enough to know how things work.

Absolutely enjoyed doing business with Tony Rodriguez on the Hyundai side of the dealership. If you want a new Hyundai or you see something used on their website Id definitely recommend calling Tony. Hes the first car salesman who encouraged us to go home, take our time and think about it before we bought our car. He said something to the effect of, his job is not to sell us a car we didnt want or need, his job was to give us as much info as he could to help us with our decision then get to work on the finance side. We hated looking at cars because some salesmen try their hardest to keep you on the lot to make that sale! Not Tony. Once we sure of the car we wanted he did his part and the finance guys were great as well, not up selling just informing us of their offers. They showed prices with and without warranties as well as helping with the price when we thought it was getting to expensive. Letting us know it was okay to decline anything at anytime. We really enjoyed it so much we just got our second used car from them, a 2020 with less than 10k miles. They have a great selection!! Honestly I would never recommend a car lot but these guys are Amazing, especially Tony! I encourage you to call him or visit him if youre interested in any of their cars!

The service is great, they addressed all of my concerns. The only issue I had was when I pulled up several employees walked by ( coming from the cubicles that check people in) without saying one word to me. The lady and the rental cubicle across the from the row of cubicles I wax next to helped me, as soon as she realized no one else that has looked directly at me and walked passed me helped. She was amazing and very helpful.

Had a recall on my car. They ordered the part for it. Did not tell me when part was in so the part failed and could not shift my car from drive. I finally found out how to manually do it. When got it to dealership the next day they did get me in that day. It was done by the end of their workday. I am a uber driver so needed it that might and they got it to me so I could work. Very nice and helpful.
The sales team and managers are great and the purchase process was smooth. After making my purchase the car had not even been detailed or the maintenance was not checked. It’s been 2 weeks now since I’ve made my purchase and I still have not been able to have my car. The alternator ended up going out and it’s been 2 weeks now with no car and they can’t get my car fixed until my “appointment” date arrives. It’s also poor communication so I don’t know when I would be expecting my vehicle I have already purchased!
A pleasure to work with. Theyre fast, efficient, professional and very friendly. Fortunately for me, my a/c just happened to start working again a couple of days prior to my service date. Itd been out for three weeks. Everything checked out just fine and so I didnt have to spend a dime. Yay!
Overall experience was okay. But when ever I would try and text the number to get updates I would not always get a reply. I finally went to the cashier and she went found who ever and they came and talked to and said it should not be more than about 30 minutes but still wound up being like another hour. The communication was not great.

This place gets one star only because of the service department being pleasant to work with. We purchased our truck on April 15, 2021. We were told the truck had a rebate. When the finance papers came out, it did not. We were never told any different. I had to question this. We continued the purchase anyway against my gut feeling. Then I noticed the truck had remote start on the window sticker. The salesman told us it did not because it didnt have the correct remotes for it. I kindly showed him and so he asked. We were told the truck had the wrong keys and was assured that they would get us the correct keys. We were also told until then the truck had an app we could use to start it until we did.. Guess what? There was no app supported by this truck. So, here we are in almost August. I have been contacting them by phone with no response. I finally contacted corporate. Then, I took it upon myself to go into the dealer so I would no longer be ignored. After a heated decision about them being unable to get the keys due to COVID and etc, I left. I immediately called the parts department. I was told by parts they didnt not only have 2 of the keys in stock but they had FOUR. These keys were at the dealer. I was told even if parts needed to order them they could have them in 2 days. Finally,I talked to the service manager and he got me in today for the fix. I was there about an hour and was ready to go after months of fighting this. As for Mr. Bob Jones, who said he never lies to a customer, guess what...you did. I am not saying the whole dealership is bad. However, there are a few bad apples. My advice is dont leave or sign for your vehicle until you have everything promised and all is correct. I guess that was my downfall to trust them.
Good customer service from the service reps. Dont like that all discounts have to be written up on the service ticket otherwise check out personnel wont use discounts. If I have a coupon or am military the discount should be honored regardless.
If your looking for a vehicle go hit up Lejuan at Abilene Star Dodge. He was awesome! Most genuine guy around and my husband and I didnt feel pressured at all to purchase. Go give him a shot!!
Mr. Jimenez was very attentive while taking my information. He called and checked with me after dropping off my vehicle for an oil change and suggested a tire rotation since it was covered in the plan. We did not expect to be in and out so quickly because the appeared to have a full house. A few short hours later we were called and told our vehicle was ready. This is my first experience with the service department and it was a good one!

We’ve been very pleased with the Star Dodge service department. We use them to do our oil changes on our diesel sprinter van and other regular maintenance and more major types of needed work. Timely, conscientious and they provide regular updates to keep you in the loop. Logan even directed me to and added the discount coupon to our bill AFTER I had paid it without the discount.

From right when I walked in I didn’t feel pressured or forced into any vehicle. There was great communication between Cyle Hunnel and myself. He was honest and understanding with the vehicle I was looking at, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE in the the questions I asked. The communication in the paperwork was as good as it gets, they made sure that I knew exactly what was going on. A little fast speaking but they repeated everything so I knew exactly what I was SIGNING and exactly what I was PAYING. I didn’t walk out that door questioning anything. The crew of guys that helped me stayed almost two hours late without any complaints. I would recommend to anybody, without question!
I would leave zero stars but my car actually did get fixed. I was getting my engine repaired after it was destroyed by water intake. The guy handling my case told me it would be completed in about a week or so. That stretched to three weeks. He knew of the other damage And told me of the other damage but didnt speak to the insurance company to get the additional funds nor did he order in advance to keep the maintenance going. I had to 2 weeks off of work. Everybody cant just rent a car for that long. No loaner vehicle at the dealership because of insurance is what I was told. Long story short the procrastinating business practice really soured my mouth on this place. Next time its anywhere else but this place.
Our fan ac motor went out and Logan was super detailed oriented and even went out of his way to see if our extended warranty covered the parts. Thank you! This is our 2nd time using Star Dodge to service our pickup. Of course labor is not cheap but it gets done right.

In 2015, a salesman named Bryan, had only been there a few weeks, showed us a vehicle. We were happy with him and his customer service. When it came down to buying the car, another salesman named Patrick took over and got the credit for the sales. I tried not to think too much about. Well it happened again. Last week Joel showed us a vehicle. Again we very pleased with this new salesman. He too has only been there two weeks. Well, I was contacted by Jesse, who is the manager/salesman who made me an appointment to talk about the financial part. So again the new salesman was not going to get the sale. The vehicle was sold. Me and the salesman were done wrong. So this seems to be Star Dodges practice from my experiences over there. I cant trust them.

I drive a 2013 Jeep wrangler. Costumer service was great, I didn’t have to wait long for anything, and everyone in the dealership was super nice! Normally I’d give that a solid 5 stars, but, today, which is the day after my service, my hood started to shake and i thought that was strange but seconds later while Im going 65mph down the highway my hood latch comes apart and my hood flaps up a good 2-3 inches.So, I hope that the maintenance crew becomes aware that if there is a vehicle that has after-market hood latches or any other part, that they’re not sure how it goes together to just ask. Because I could have more problems than just an open hood from this! All is good! They’re great people.

1) twice when having oil changed on my Jeep, they didn’t put the engine cover back on. I noticed after I got home & opened the hood to check their work. Next time, I’ll check it before I leave the lot.2) brought with complaint of A/C odd noises & engine temp running hotter than usual last year. Spent $1K. A/C is cold but still has odd noises, engine temperature running hotter than usual, & auto control on temp doesn’t work. Did I just spend $1K on Freon? I’ve had it in 2 other times- they hear the noise & found other random stuff to fix but can’t identify why these things are happening. Still.3) I’ve had another dodge truck of mine there 4x and left it up to a week & they still haven’t been able to find out why the A/C /heat fan glitches out & quits working intermittently (even when I bring it in when the fan is not working). If it doesn’t generate a diagnostic code, I have 0 faith they can actually “fix” anything.

I will never do business with Star Dodge again. I found the vehicle I wanted, went to my credit union and got the loan, went back to the business and asked them to send information to my loan officer. I was then made to answer questions that honestly were not any of Star Dodges business but was told by Zach Yosts boss that they did that to everyone. I in no way blame this on Zach. He was simply doing what he was told. Once we got over to the finance area I explained to John Harvey that I just needed them to send the paperwork to my credit union of course then he went back to his office and we were waiting again. I began walking around after about 15 minutes and heard Mr. Harvey joking on the phone, knowing we were waiting and had told them we have groceries in the car. We were kept at the dealership for 3+ hours even after I had already secured the loan. Mr. Harvey finally came out and said he would get the rest of the paper work from my loan officer. He asked about the down payment and I told him the credit union should send him the entire amount for the vehicle. Next morning I went to pick up my vehicle and sign papers. Upon signing the last he said what about the down payment I told him the credit union should have sent it. I then had to go pick up check and take it back to dealership. He tried to blame it on the credit union but I personally know that loan officer and my sister worked for the credit union for 30 years. I found Mr. Harvey to be very arrogant and unhelpful. I also think that when someone is spending that much on a vehicle that a full tank of gas is warranted not just 7 gallons. I do want to thank Zach who did fill my tank out of his own pocket. Also if you have a vehicle that you know has recall why not just get it done prior to selling vehicle, seems a little ridiculous to me.

Was asking about getting my TPMS looked at while having service done parts guy said he hat the part for $53.oo but they wanted to charge $260.00 to mount in tire and program it seems pretty high when I was paying $390 for the service I think they could have came off the $260 to install and program the TPMS IF I WAS BUYING THE PART FROM THEM AND WAS GETTING A SERVICE DONE THERE ALSO.Just thought that was wrong and was not going to help out to get the problem fixed for me .The service writer Kelly would not even try she just kept saying $260 plus the part of $53.00 like I said thought that was very high and she would not even try to get it down. I think they could have come off that some to me
Service department lacks communication. They kepp telling me Im going to get a update on my vehicle but after 1 week they have told me nothing. I have called and asked for a update 3 times and all I get told is let me go check I will call you back in 20 minutes but the call never comes and the next time I talk to the guy he doesnt know anything about it.

When we went to pick our vehicle up we had cut marks on our driver door panel near the window. They were not there when we dropped it off. Logan has assured us he will take care of it for us. When we went to drive it this morning, it would not start. Now after over $3000 in repairs we have to buy a new $200 battery for o it. You can’t ask for nicer bunch of people.

Our truck engine siezed up when passing through Abilene. Towed truck to Star. They quickly found the reason engine siezed up. When they discovered a long backlog of engine orders from the factory they got on their dealer network and found a 3 liter Ram Diesel engine at another dealer. They sent their own truck and driver over 150 miles to pick up the engine. While all that was going on their tech was disassembling the truck to make the engine swap. In short, service manager Mike and service writer Johnny did absolutely everything possible to get us back on the road. It reminded me of dealer service from 50 years ago, not 2021. All I can say is thankyou for your tremendous efforts!
I waited 3 hours for a oil change . Not how I wanted to spend my morning but Kelly was sweet and When I asked her what was the issue she took only a few minutes to figure it out and then came and told me the truth that they needed a filter that was being picked up/delivered for my car. I appreciate her doing that she could of easily said oh it’s the other vehicle before you.
I had 3 recalls on my 2008 dodge charger I call in had a day set to take it in took it at 9 am they were threw with it about 230 that day they were very fast and polite. Thank you star dodge

I brought my 2020 Dodge Ram in for its first service on 11-17-20. I have had it for one year now and it is a very good truck. It only has 3400 miles on it but the little bit that I have drove it is absolutely wonderful. My service advisor was Mikyla Leonard. She done a wonderful job of explaining all the details and getting my truck in and out.
