I absolutely love this store. They have a bit of anything and everything you need for your basic home repairs. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. When asked about a product that they didnt have, they told me exactly where to get it. That means a great deal to someone thats new to the area and is trying to finish a project with minimal aggravation. I will definitely be back for the rest of my home needs.

In my opinion, Dennis Company is the friendliest, most helpful store- I have never had a bad experience there. Their customer service has been above beyond, and consistent (for me) for over 30 years. They have a great inventory and have helped me track down or order something if they didn’t have it!

Spring is full on! DCA is a wonderful place to pick up bedding plants, herbs and vegetables, a wide variety of fruit trees to choose from. Supplies for birds (indoor and outdoor) and pets; and thats just the lawn and garden dept!

This is the only Ace hardware in Aberdeen that I know of and has all the hardware supplies I need that Walmart and tractor supply dont carry. My husband and I buy it and sell houses and are always in need of something.I loved shopping here almost every day until one horrifying experience with an employee named Bailey veered me to shop online and at home Depot. Its very sad this employee does not know what shes doing or how to perform her job and what little knowledge she does have about customer service goes right out the door sometime to use it. Shes disrespectful unprofessional and downright rude. I dont shop here anymore because of her although I do love the store and selection I just warn anybody who goes there stay clear of BAILEY or she will ruin your experience at this wonderful hometown hardware store.

This was the first time I had ever been to Dennis company Ace. I wasnt there very long but I did know if they have quite a variety of everything soil which is why I went to t-shirts and everything in between. The service was great and I will definitely go back.

Rarely do I leave an entirely negative review, but this is that rare occasion.BACKGROUND: My wife and I have been remolding our house and after working room by room for a year we reached the upstairs bathroom. On March 1 I attempted to pick-up/find a Rust-Oleum product. After not finding it at several stores (three Home Depots, two Lowes, two Ace Hardware, and one McLendon Hardware) in my local area (Puyallup, WA) I began to search outside my local area. On March 2 I called Rust-Oleum directly, which is when I learned that due to a Tic-Tok video that product from Rust-Oleum is nearly sold out nationwide (United States). Their advice was to seek out stores that carry Rust-Oleum products that are further away from population centers, which I did. I searched nearly all Home Depot, Lowes, and McLendon in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho via their internal search engines or calling a store and could not find a single store that had any number of the product. I started calling Ace Hardware locations, beginning with those over 75 miles away. One of my first calls was to the Dennis Company Ace in Aberdeen, WA. I spoke with an associate there; I gave the product name and described the product box. Box description was crucial, it helped me ensure that we were both talking about the same product. I described the box as a kit, that the box was white and green, and made by Rust-Oleum. I was assured numerous times by the associate that they had the product, that she saw it, and confirmed it by UPC. She stated she would hold it for me. March 3, I drove the 75 miles to pick up the product that I was assured was the Rust-Oleum product and was being held for me. This is a considerable trip for me not only in distance but time as well (roughly a 90-minute drive one way).PROBLEM: I arrived at the Dennis Company Ace in Aberdeen approximately at 8:30 am, where I was presented with what I thought would be the Rust-Oleum product, but instead I was given the Homax product. Not only was this the entirely wrong product, but its box was blue and yellow. I was apologized to, but it meant little since the only reason I drove to Aberdeen was to pick-up the product I was assured and promised was there. The associate who had assured me the day prior the product was there, told me that the UPC in their system was switched or crossed with the Rust-Oleum product, which is why she told me they had the Rust-Oleum product. This meant I was lied to twice. First Lie: That they had the product at all (they did not). Second Lie: That the associate saw the product (again the boxes do not look alike and could not be mistaken for the other), it is now clear that the associate only looked at the UPC. This was infuriating, to say the least, the Dennis Company Ace cost me time and resources to drive there only to not find the product I was promised was there. A small amount of credit goes toward the fact they called other Dennis Company Aces in the area to see if they had the product (they did not) and the Home Depot in Aberdeen (despite me telling them I had already called them yesterday). Beyond checking elsewhere and mild apologies for my “inconvenience,” driving to Aberdeen for a product that they did not have, they did offer to order the product for me and that I could return when they had it in. This was not acceptable since I did not feel like another 3–4-hour road trip for a single product.I am glad I will not have to ever give this small chain of Ace Hardware any money. Not only that, but this experience has ensured that I will never patron another Ace Hardware again. Ace Hardwares slogan of “The helpful place,” in this instance was violated. This Dennis Company Ace store thoroughly failed the corporate slogan, embarrassed themselves, and lost a patron permanently for all Ace Hardware stores. While I know my individual choice may not affect their bottom line much, it is what I can do. I recommend never calling Dennis Company Ace to confirm a product nor hold it for you, you will be grossly disappointed.

We love shopping hometown, and this store has very friendly associates (some whom have been there for over a decade!), but they lack in customer service; nobody ever checks on us in the gun/fishing section, so we cant buy reels or a hunting rifle. Nobody asks if we need help in the isles. It could definitely step up with servicing locals.*Update.. pre-hunting season we re-visited and while around hunting gear and rifles 2-3 associates came over to be near for assistance. Great work!

Great place for hardware, housewares, and seasonal gear. Prices arent too high. It does feel a little crowded around the middle of the store though. Make sure to ask someone where stuff is because some of the merchandising doesnt make sense.
