I love this store!This is a small store not one of the bigger ones. Thats the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. That being the case they have less than the bigger stores, completely understandable. They have all the staples and more popular and current items, but because it is smaller its helpful to look online or even call to see if they have the item you are looking for in this location before you make the trip. What you get with this store is convenient location and small town help. Every Joanns Ive been in have friendly knowledgeable staff, but theres something about a small store, theyre just better at it. Rarely has there been something I needed I couldnt get there. There has never been a question they couldnt answer. I have air crocheted in front of them because Im just learning and the only term I knew was chain stitch! Ive also Frankensteined some things that had no place in a fabric/craft store, they might really have heard it all. I wouldnt expect them to remember or recognize me, but they feel like valued friends to me. No amount of superfluous stock can replace that.

I just love coming to this store. I always get greeted by someone within a few seconds of walking in, and that feels great and welcoming! Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable about anything I have questions about, and if they dont know something, they help me find the answers.My only wish for the store is that they were large enough to host classes for learning new skills and crafts. That would be the absolute best and make this place 100% better. All in all, this is one of my personal best places to shop in Zanesville!

Havent visited here in a hot min but can def say they have some pretty decent sales on a wide variety of the main things I love in the arts and crafts dept plus even had 40% off my big obsession with these boxes and containers I have!!! Lol

The employees were very helpful and nice. I was able to get just about everything I needed.

We were in Zanesville, service was excellent. They always have employees waiting to check you out. Selection is excellent. St.c store you always have to look for someone to help you. They mostly only ever have one register open.

Prices were high on seasonal items. Couldnt find any fabric needed for project. No one offered to assist me either.

Love everything here so fun to shop and look at everything.

They offer military discount, although now you have to set that up online, dont necessarily like that. Nice calm environment, employees are nice and helpful. Very informative without being pushy. Dont offer a specific brand I like but thats okay, that still have loads of others I love :)

It was good to be able to help out an elderly lady out, she has family but they dont come to visit her so I do all Im able to for her .

Its a dying store and its so sad. Not too many people shop because of the way over priced items. Its cheaper to buy things already made today verses making homemade.

Went for special kind of cloth. Found it! Great lady waited on me. Loved being able to also browse without any problems. Totally enjoyed my shopping experience.

The staff is very nice and knowledgeable and will stop at nothing to make sure they help you with whatever you need. They even helped me get a bunch of coupons and now I save everytime I go in.

The lights got turned off on ol Essie up there because theyre on a timer...set to turn off at 8:45 pm. Most of the staff are very personable and helpful as long as the customer isnt being crappy...can you really blame them for being a little annoyed?
