I live in Southern California and was in Yuma on March 2nd and 3rd visiting a friend. I frequent Yuma a lot to see friends and this recent trip was the first time I went to Arizona Gold & Silver, (AG&S).Entering the store was very much like entering a museum; with stock sealed in displays, understandable as there are expensive pieces of gold and silver all around. I went in there just looking for 10 ounces of silver eagles. I approached the counter and was greeted by Amy. She said she did have some silver Eagles; but wanting to get something with not as high of a premium. she suggested a 10 ounce silver bar. Amy brought two examples to the window, and I eventually settled for the 10 oz Geiger Edelmetalle square silver bar.The bar was $372 out the door with their premiums and the quality of the piece was what I expected. Being fairly new to precious metals, Im still learning about the various mints around the world.I paid with a debit card and Amy told me there would be a three day hold; for a variety of reasons that are not really necessary for me to go into detail here.I knew I was leaving on the 3rd to go back home. So she offered to ship it to me. I declined to have it shipped as I knew I was returning the following week for other reasons. It was cheaper for me to expend the gas to pick it up the following week, which is what I did. Amy held the bar for me until I returned the night of April 9th. I picked it up Wednesday morning on the 10th and made the short drive back to California.Could Amy have shipped it at a low cost, probably. But my house has a mailbox on a horizontal flat that shares that space with three other mail boxes. For security reasons, I dont want high dollar items just sitting in my mailbox. I wasnt bothered by the three day hold at all.I enjoyed going there. And I will go again. I wouldnt say Im a big spender, but I like places that have quality stock and where the employees know what theyre talking about.Thank you Amy, and forgive me because I forgot the name of your colleague who assisted me earlier this morning when I picked up the bar. He was very nice.

Awful crooks! they say if u pay byvisa or other card you cannot take the merchandise until their bank gets the cash. in other words, they want our trust but they are unwilling to issue trust to an established high dollar customer!

Went in to sell Morgan Silver Dollars. My coins were pretty beat up and not in that great of shape. I decided to trade them and was offered, what I thought, was a good trade in value for my coins considering their condition. I traded them for silver rounds and am very happy with the price I got for them. They had a large variety of silver rounds and govt issued coins to choose from. Will go back again to purchase more silver. Was very happy with my transaction. Honest and direct customer service.

Was offered 15% under melt for my gold coins even though they said they paid 12% back....Had two $3 gold coins worth nearly $1000 each and was offered $160 each. They told me they just paid for metal value on all coins because it was so hard to find a buyer for collectible coins. Please! Dont insult me with that excuse. Beware if you have any coin worth more than its gold or silver value they will offer a rip off price.
