Giving one star because I cannot give zero. Repairs took forever and were done sloppy. The person in charge would not answer my phone calls or texts. The repair coordinator in charge even hung up the phone on me this morning and when I texted her asking if she hung up on me, she replied yes. WOW I was surprised by their lack of professionalism. I cannot believe they are Yuma second best.
I highly DO NOT recommend Yuma Carpets. First off back at the end of October 2020 we called to get some flooring repaired as we had recently built a house. The flooring was done shotty at best. We knew we were coming up on the expiration of our warranty and wanted the flooring to be repaired. Initially when we called and spoke to Ellie we were told that Yuma Carpets was 3 weeks out, which I was fine with. I sent pictures of what needed to be done to both Ellie and Debbie.Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I called and again spoke to Ellie wondering why I never received any follow up phone calls or any communication what so ever regarding repairs to our floor. I was told by Ellie that she had been out of the office for a month and the employee that was covering her didn’t make any follow up phone calls and that, that employee is no longer with the company and that she will get me on the schedule as soon as possible. I was scheduled for Feb. 19th between 9-3 and that someone would be in touch.Well fast forward to Friday Feb 19th at 1p. I call Yuma Carpets and speak to Kim and was told that the person I need to talk to is at lunch and she will pass on a message to her.I wait for over an hour with no call back. It’s now 230p. I call back and speak to Kim again and request to speak to a supervisor. I’m told that not only is there no supervisor but I can’t have her name. I was told again she will pass on the message. As soon as we hung up I get a phone call from Allie. Well let’s just say that if you want to run a successful company you sure as Hell don’t want her taking care of business. She immediately started accusing me of having a tech come to my house 2 days prior and doing work. And I continually told her that I never had anyone come to the house. This went on for 10 minutes until finally she told me that she had me confused with someone else. Well guess what Allie maybe you should have your info in order before you accuse your clients of lying. Then she preceded to tell me that my warranty was expired. Well again Allie, at the time of the initial phone call back at the end of October my warranty wasn’t expired. She continued to yell at me telling me that if she doesn’t put me back on the schedule my warranty is expired. Wow nice professionalism there. Not only that she hung up on me.Yuma Carpets may want to get all their info together before talking to clients because there are those clients that document and keep txt messages and voicemails just in case something like this happens. So word of advice to anyone wanting to do business with Yuma Carpets keep all documentation!
The staff were very knowledgeable of their wide variety of flooring options. They not only helped me decide which type of flooring was best suited for my needs, but also gave me some great advice on maintaining the flooring I purchased. The installers did an amazing job. I am so happy with how it instantly upgraded my house!
Horrible workmanship quality and even worse customer service, brand new flooring in a new construction Desert Oasis house. Carpet is coming up at nearly all transitions with vinyl, T seams in carpet that are against code, vinyl isnt installed well either, not seated under baseboard and rolling up from wall. My neighbors have all had similar or worse results. Appears that they use unskilled laborers. Their representative was extremely rude, unwilling to help, and she even blamed the issues on the flooring i choose being cheap. Would never recommend.
Great customer service, where i work on we have been using them as a vendor for more than 5 years and they are always there to help on prices and explaining the quality of the material they have. They do have good prices, and the material they have it depends on what you want. Dulce shes a really nice lady to talk and communicate on what you want, and Larry as well, he will do his best to give you the right price!
I went in looking for vinyl flooring. Ellie took my name and number and said she would call and be out next day. Okay...Next day, no call (I normally wouldnt do this), but called to see if she was coming to measure. A female associate answered the phone then asked who I talked to. I didnt know her name as she never introduced herself. I told the associate she was at the desk in front of the door. So she transferred me to Ellie after telling me her name.I then learn that someone called in sick and she couldnt leave, so she would call me the next morning. No call again.....I believe she was more interested in getting her house rented than in making a sale. My other estimates were 3500.00 so she lost out. You snooze you lose. I would never recommend yuma carpet to anyone.
I cant say enough about Yuma Carpets...they ROCK!! The office staff were incredible from beginning to end, not just before my purchase...which is rare now a days! The installers were great, very friendly & professional. They came in, did the job, cleaned up & left. I was very pleased with my experience & will definitely recommend Yuma Carpets to everyone I know.
I ordered 12 boxes of tile from them and only got 10, I called a week later because the tile was not adding up and they said too much time had passed and didn’t give the other two boxes. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them again.
A HUGE thanks to the team at Yuma Carpet today for all their help! I had a bit of a challenging dilemma when my pup decided to chew up the carpet in my entryway. The front office staff was polite and knowledgeable and the guys out back took the time to exchange courteous pleasantries when they brought the carpet to me.Thanks again!
Brand new floor installed in new construction home with damage before occupying the property. They installed vinyl floor that is one whole piece but remediate the damage by gluing remnant pieces. They Look horrible. Poor customer service. Sending them out for a 3rd time to repair in 3 weeks because they refuse to replace the floor. They also installed the carpet in living room using remnants that had big ugly seams in three middle of the floor. They have a D- rating with the BBB.
Not willing to help, instead they go around their policy just to not take care of the customer and the mistakes they made on their installation. Very bad experience! Not recommend it at all!
Absolute terrible job. I bought a brand new house. Yuma carpet and tile did the carpet, tile, and hardwood. The walk in shower is not level. Cracks in grout. Tile in the shower is offset with the drain. The carpet wasn’t complete and is bowing up. The hardwood laminate floors have gaps. They are impossible to get ahold of and nobody knows what’s going on. If I had the choice of who installed the tile and floors in my house it would not have been them. I would never ever recommend this company even if they pay me to redo all my floors and tile. Spend money elsewhere if you can.
Great place to buy all of the carpet and tile from.Courteous and Professional employees who know how to get the job done and on time.I would recommend them to anyone shopping for carpet or tile.
Yuma carpets installed the tile in my shower. Grout is cracking and and the tile was installed in a manner that allows water to drain out and onto the floor and wall.I have called numerous times for the warranty repair. Easily 4/5 star install in a new home, the customer service is just lacking for warranty assistanceAfter over a week the rep hasnt come to my house after my initial report.I waited an entire day on the 12th attempt to get my tile fixed. The contractor didnt even give me a chance to get to the front door to answer.
Jesus Rivera was THEE best Carpet Installer, but sadly this company likes to scam their employees, I wouldn’t no longer recommend since he’s not there anymore! Defamation of character, theft of employment wages, harassment, etc.. Soon they’ll pay for what they’ve done and go underground..
Really lovely associates, helped me stick to my budget and received amazing service. Definitely recommend this place. Very one on one experience.
Very difficult to get to complete a job. Got part of job done quickly but finishing the shower delay after delay. Do not return phone calls. Would not recommend.
Terrible service!! Yuma carpet installed the flooring in my new house and did a terrible job had someone come and “fix it” they did an even worse job and I’m still waiting for them to come and fix that mess along with everything else. Been waiting months for repairs and I just get told I’m on the waiting list (again its been MONTHS.) Warrantee will never be their priority since it’s work that “they dont get paid for” as I was told by Tammy the one in charge of warrantees. Ridiculous company never never never hire them!!!
I would never voluntarily hire this company. They installed carpet and tile in a house we built and we had some issues after closing that needed taking care of. I literally chased them for weeks trying to get something scheduled, and on top of that it was like the was zero communication between the people in the office, so it was impossible to get any information from anyone expect for one person. And then appointments were mischeduled, guarantees made they couldnt keep, poor communication between the office and on-site guys (had someone show up at the house who didnt speak any English, which wouldnt be a problem except he also had no idea what our issues were), and not great work when it came down to it, because they were rushed and/or didnt understand my concerns. I just gave up at that point. The only good thing I have to say is that the folks in the office were at least nice over the phone and attempted to help/made it seem like they were trying.
Great job fast service and their team of employees are curtious and respectful. They really Went the extra mile to make this customer happy!
They have some great installation services. Really happy with the way the job turned out.
Poorly installed floor. Took 3 weeks to get someone to come out. Lack of communication between employees. When flooring was placed, employee used white caulkng around the seams against my DARK wood cabinet frame. LARGE gaps was filled very messy. Would never use them again.
Wish I could give a less than 1 star because they are definitely worthy of a minus 5 stars. It started out like any usual business more than willing to help you. Until after the installation when there’s a problem.Back in April we were in touch with Yuma carpet salesman was Larry Gilley he was more than helpful after some negotiating on price we hired Yuma carpet to remove all carpet in the house and install all new carpet. At the time we had just purchased the house and we still lived in Wisconsin we wanted the carpet replaced before we moved in we had to pay ahead before they would order the carpet which we were fine with so I gave him my debit card number and paid it at a cost of $7500.00we didn’t pick cheap carpet. Sometime in May they finished it. We were still in Wisconsin and not planning to be back to Yuma until we sold our house in Wisconsin. Beginning of August we sold our house and moved to Yuma to our house here. After getting here and a little anxious to see the new carpet we thought @ that time it looked good. Now starts the nightmare with Yuma carpet. While waiting for the movers to show up with our belongings we spent a lot of time on the floor as we had no furniture. That’s when we noticed a bad spot in the living room carpet. After the furniture showed up we were concentrating mostly on in packing after a month our seams in the carpet started fraying but only in the living room I called Larry Gilley and told him of both issues we had he sent the installation crew out all they did was cut the fraying with a scissors and took a pic of the bad spot by the time they showed up the floor was squeaking terrible in one spot you could actually feel the sub floor move. So he also had them pull back the carpet and screw the loose piece of flooring down and also pounded down the nails. About a month later same issue with the carpet. Again all they did was cut the fraying carpet. Now we are becoming more concerned about it eventually the carpet fibers will be gone and still had no answer on the bad spot he said he would have to talk to his representative from Shaw Carpet about a month later or so again it is starting to fray but also are the doorways so now it’s all the carpet seams which leads me to believe it is a installation issue so we called Larry Gilley again but was told that we wasn’t in and I left a message for him to call me 3-4 days go by no call I called again he was busy with a customer then left a message for him again again no call so about a week and a half after 1st phone call we drove to the store and I was angry because I had to drive there for something that could be handled on the phone. Now he was very defensive saying well who all was in your house while you were not here this was referring to the bad spot in carpet only 1 person had a key to keep an eye on the place for us so we argued about that and I also told him that I wanted a Shaw Carpet repressive to come out that’s when he started getting even more defensive I also complained that I had to drive there he could have called me back he said we are very busy that’s fine but a 2 minute call saying I’m working on it was all you needed to do then he said don’t tell me how to do my job. I said I’m not going to drive here again for an answer the next time it will be done through small claims court he started yelling and kicked us out and he crumbled up the paperwork that he was writing down information on. I gave him more than a month now and no contact which doesn’t surprise me spoke with a independent installer and the bad spot he said was definitely a factory issue and with out the carpet paperwork that there’s nothing he could do if he ordered the same carpet it could be from a different lot and carpet fibers might not match and you would see the seams he figured the carpet was cut from the wrong side since a Berber needs to be cut from the back not from the carpet fibers side. So now I have filed a complaint with the state of Arizona department of registar waiting on results stay away they don’t back their workThanks for reading
River Park Apartments thanks you for your excellent service.
My salesman was just wonderful and very helpful in the store .
Needed a replacement tile for my house. They had it.
They are very rude!! Dont waste your money on them! I was wanting flooring for my house and the way they speak to you and handle business is the worst ever in yuma. Especially the rude manager.
Missed 7 appointments to repair shower were the grout cracked in multiple places as well as not angling shower door step so therefore shower leaks into bathroom...The last reason for not showing up while I waited on my day off was oops we forgot after I had to call them to find out...!Updated today now they knock when Im outside the finally hit the ring doorbell and drive off!!
Very rude and greedy owners. Any other company deserves your business will probly be cheaper
I loved your service. I went to buy carpet for my bedroom and I found a roll already cut at a good price and they installed it the next day. They are fast and do a very good job.
They did a very good job. Very happy .
