This was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had and also my first time buying a brand new car. Kelli communicated with me promptly, and even though inventory was low, she was able to get a new Insight for me from Kalamazoo within a week of our first contact. I also appreciated all the different warranty options as well as the different financing terms I had access to. I suppose that part is more about Honda and Huntington National Bank than it is about Fischer Honda, but still I think the finance manager Zach did a great job of figuring out the options that would work for my situation.

Came for an oil change for my Honda Odyssey. They had some coupons which made the price very competitive. Everything was done in less than 45 minutes. I am happy with their service. People were friendly. They even had coffee and some bars in the place close to the waiting room. This has become a rarity these days after Covid.But I was surprised by how old the building was that housed the dealership. I have been to Honda dealerships all over the country. This was probably the oldest looking and most congested one I have been in. Wish they move to a new facility soon. This is no knock on the employees. It is not their fault that they work there.

Most of the time I have a great experience at the Honda In Ypsilanti, but not this time. I was very aware that I was behind on getting my brakes done, and the older gentleman at the desk did not mind saying it over and over again to the point I felt insulted and berated by him saying it very loudly. Remind you that my appointment was for an oil change, brakes, and rotors.On top of that, my brakes were not that bad, so I began to feel he was working up on a way to make it more than I was quoted. Over all not a good experience this time. I will say that Darryl the manager was great as always, so this could have been worse.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change. I was an hour early so I was just going to drop it off. Some one else didnt show up on time so they took it right in while I waited. They dont have a shuttle since COVID-19 so you need to get your own ride or prepare to wait. The service was great! Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

The management team is horrible. I needed to get my brakes fixed, they didnt have time for me and booked me for a week later and then last min the owners decided to take that Saturday off so my appointment had to be rescheduled and then I needed to wait yet another week. I asked for a loaner car they dont have those available. I am going to be taking my car elsewhere because there is no kind of accommodation here. Oh and also I work all the time so theres limited time I can bring my car in so now I had to accommodate my own schedule yet again for them and they don’t care.

Had a negative experience. Sales guy had no clue what he was doing. Couldn’t even explain how a Hybrid car worked. Lied to us twice by telling us they don’t accept deposits (which the owner later took ours when we called back) and that he couldn’t get a price for us on our trade (later found out he didn’t even ask the used car manager, after we talked with him directly). The sales manager used the excuse that “he was new in March”. That’s no excuse. That’s your job to train him and that’s on the leadership. Manager wouldn’t work with us and brushed us aside. We desperately tried to push a deal through but we didn’t receive call backs, the work wasn’t getting done in an appropriate timeframe.. We wanted to get most done remotely and it was like they had never been asked to do this before. We went across town to Germain who took care of us with less than 30 minutes at the dealership and had the deal done before these guys even called us back. This dealership lacked leadership, process and customer service. I hope they improve.

I went in for a recall fix involving the axels on my wife’s Honda Fit. I added a oil change and rotating the tires to the work order. And I waited in their waiting area for the work to be completed. About an hour later the service person informed me of a broken lug nut that required a whole front wheel assembly to be replaced and because the time to get replacement parts and to do the work, it required another 3+ Hours to complete. I was also informed that they no longer had a reliable shuttle service or a loaner car. So besides the $500.00 + for the lug nut fix, I also had to spend $30.00 on taxi fare to home and back. This is the 1st time in 14 years dealing with Fischer Honda that I was left without a shuttle ride or loaner car because of an extended service situation.

Todd in Service was great. I was due for the more extensive service this time. He went over it with me and made sure I understood everything. My vehicle was ready when he said it would be, and the estimated cost was right on. Thank you.

Horrible customer service!!! I made an appointment to view a vehicle with a sales associate named Ryan. I live 2 hours away so I made sure to confirm several times that the vehicle would be there if I made the trip. I asked at least 4 times if I had the first opportunity to purchase the vehicle and was assured every time that I did not need to worry, they would not sell the van out from underneath me. I packed all 3 of my kids in the car and my husband insisted that we call before we left to make sure the van was still there. We called the dealership, texted Ryan personally and left him a message that we were on our way/wanted to confirm our appt. When we arrived he showed us the van and tried really hard to talk us out of buying it. I thought it was very fishy. When we asked to take the van for a test drive he said we weren’t allowed to because it was sold 2 hours ago! I was disappointed and frustrated. I asked why he didn’t contact me or why was I repeatedly told that the van would be there for me. The only response I was given was that his manager said there was nothing he could do. It was rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, and very shady. I would never recommend or trust Fischer Honda of Ypsilanti for any of my vehicle needs.-Jamie
