This was my first purchase of a car as a young teenager and it has been nothing but terrible. I bought a car 6 months ago and have had NOTHING but trouble. If I didn’t buy the $2,000 warranty, I would have owed over $1,200 in repairs. It isn’t even passing the inspection as they said it is “fully inspected before selling”. Which clearly isn’t true. I contacted the dealer and they are stating it is from “wear and tear” on the car and can’t do anything. If it was fully inspected before selling, why isn’t it passing state inspection? I am very very disappointed in this dealership. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

The sales experience was awesome and Chad was a big help in purchasing my first car on my own as a young adult. He helped me figure out the best deal. BUT, I have had nothing but problems with my car since I left the lot. I have had it for 5 months and it’s been in the shop 4 times and cost an arm and a leg each time. They seemed to cover some information up about the car and over time, it is all starting to break and of course my dealer warranty is up. Very very unimpressed with the car and the lack of knowledge about the background of the car.

Shout out to Chad Holler! This was the first time I purchased a car all on my own. I was terrified that my lack of car knowledge and being a girl would work against me. Not the case at all! Chad found the car for me, answered my million questions, knew exactly what I needed, was honest and took care of me. If youre looking for a vehicle and want an honest salesman who will have your best interest at heart, then Chad is your guy at Your Auto Source.

I got my 2015 GTI from them during the whole Covid shutdowns. I researched so many of them online and from the pics and info, I knew this was the right one. I put a deposit on it so nobody else can get it before I did. I live 2 hours away and haven’t even seen it in person. Everything went very smoothly with financing and paperwork, but as a mechanic, I wanted to check out underneath the car. I also wanted just a little more info as well. There was supposedly 2 keys but I only got one. The turbo and cat had about 3k miles on them on the carfax indicating that it may have been pushed a little too hard at some point. They posted that the water pump was just done and I asked if the rest of the timing belt stuff was done as well but never got an answer. I pop the hood and see a new alternator which wasn’t mentioned and it still has the original battery (typically lasting 4-6 years). I’m still very happy about my purchase, but there’s too many unknown reasons for the new turbo/cat/ water pump (timing belt?)/ alternator/ minor rust/ missing second key but it still looks and drives almost like new. Sport mode is fun, especially with windy roads. The tires in the front had low tread so I rotated them and found out that there’s a Fender subwoofer in with the spare tire! There was a little bit of superficial rust underneath but nothing to be alarmed about. There’s still new things I learn about it all the time which is usually like “oh cool, I didn’t know that did that”. Like I have a “refrigerated” glove box, but the a/c has to be on plus there’s not much room with stereo equipment inside it. I never have to touch my key for any reason which is pretty cool. It still drives amazingly so I really can’t complain, but I just wanted to know more when I went to pick it up. Also, it was a rainy day when I got it and sure enough just like the last 4 or 5 cars I bought from a dealership, when the sun hits it, it looks like a 5 year old tried buffing for the first time. I actually tend to keep it dirty so you can’t see how bad the swirls are. I get that it’s difficult to get perfect (especially on dark cars) but I think it’s the worse buff job with almost a tie with my first GTI in 06-07. If it wasn’t a rainy day, I could have said something about it and maybe get it done right for once.

I normally dont do reviews, but I really must this time. My experience with your auto source has been nothing short of amazing, My salesperson Chad was so honest and forthright it scared me at first, only because of my past experiences with other unscrupulous salespeople. This gentleman is the real deal, if your in the market for a car and dont wanna get screwed around go see him, a no games kinda guy. He will definitely go above and beyond for good customers. This place is great. They met every request I made during the process. Very pleasant staff and they stand behind their products with a standardpowertrain warranty. They did everything they could to get me into a car I loved, that I honestly, probably couldnt even afford, and got as close to my terms as I could have asked given the situation. The entire time, I never felt like I was dealing with a shady car salesman. Even though we couldnt come to a final agreement, I would come back in a heartbeat when I am in a better situation. My van needed too much work to make it worth fixing. Started looking online to find another odyssey because i love them and found your auto source had an 08 everything looked great so we decided to go look at it. After speaking to steve we got our financing approved online and all of the details taken care of before we ever looked at it that way it didnt take long if we liked it. I must say this was super awesome, considering we have 4 kids and no sitter, to know that of we wanted the van we wouldnt have to keep the kids entertained forever while paper work was done ! Also our credit isnt great and we were still approved for financing with payments we could afford! We checked it out on saturday and it was fantastic it practically looks brand new inside and out! My sisters boyfriend is a mechanic and he checked it out mechanically for us and its in fantastic shape mechanically! Ive never worked with a car dealer that was so upfront and honest! It was so great working with such helpful people! The only issue with it is the door and theyre working with us to get it fixed! I loved how quick the process was by the time i had all the car seats switched over and our belongings out of our trade in they were finished with signing the papers! i love the new van! First Time Truck Purchase. Chad was very patient with going into depth about credit and explaining how everything works. Awesome to say the least. Honestly felt like he wasnt BSn just to get the sale. Overall great experience. I knew from the gate I was purchasing a used vehicle, not brand new. Only issue I ran into was the windshield leaked a little water, (sometime in the past it was replaced) I called and he made it all good by sending a check to get it resealed.

I found a 2011 Honda Pilot Touring on an internet search, and drove 3 and 1/2 hours to check it out. It was worth every minute I spent in the car. The pictures they have on the website do not do the vehicles they have in inventory justice. The vehicle was better than described. Though not planning on it, I made the deal that evening. The staff is excellent and beyond helpful in answering any questions you may have. Fantastic family atmosphere. And the 3 month/4,500 mile warranty they give with every vehicle attests to the confidence they have in the quality of the vehicles they sell. My wife and I may be looking for a truck in about 6-9 months, and they will be my first choice to shop.

This review pertains to the service department. I just had my vehicle inspected and Greg was beyond professional in explaining what I needed and why. No one likes hearing bad news, but he made it easy and certainly exceeded my expectations. Im almost hesitant to write this review because good shops that arent crazy busy are hard to find, but beyond doubt, if I need anything done in the future, this is my place.

An out of the way car dealership on york PA. They have a nice, smaller selection of vehicles that seem to be taken care of. The staff I dealt with seemed nice. We are still contemplating purchasing a vehicle, so I cant comment on that aspect of the dealer. We will see and I will update if I purchase a car from them.

My husband recently bought a Chevy truck from here. He also traded in his old car. The process with buying the new truck went well for the most part. The workers there were very kind and helpful besides the owner, who was very rude to both me and my husband. However, my husband was told Autosource would take care of his title for his old car. He was told they would send it in overnight. Come to find out two months later they never did! The MVA sent him a letter saying he is to be fined for not turning the title in. My husband contacted Autosource explaining all that was happening and their response was extremely rude and not helpful at all. My husband was told when he bought the truck that Autosource would send his title in but in the response they said that it’s not their problem and that the title should’ve been given to him so he could turn them in himself. Tags were never given to him. A lot of miscommunication going on at this place! Now my husband is paying the price for it.

I contacted Your Auto source about a month ago about a 2003 Ram 2500 I was interested in. Chad responded to my email promptly and was very professional.I continued to follow the truck and spoke to Chad again, after the list price was lowered a bit, to see if a deal could be made. He answered all my questions about the truck and even took the time to send pictures of any areas I had concerns about.Ultimately, I wasnt able to make the vehicle purchase fit into what I had budgeted. But I do feel that Chad and Your Auto Source went above and beyond to try and make it work. I also think they sell quality vehicles and they are very honest and forward with their product descriptions.I wouldnt hesitate to use them for a future vehicle purchase.

Have not baught a vehicle from them yet. Went in tonight and looked at a jeep wrangler. Told the sales guy Steve what our price range was and went from there. Went for a test drive Steve came along and we chatted like friends. Came back I didnt care for the vehicle after the drive but I didnt feel like I was gonna be pushed into buying. Bought my car in March of this year by the end of April the transmission went out luckily it was under warranty but they put a refurbished one in and even that one still has had some issues I have also had to take it in for other things the wheel bearing on the passenger side had to be replaced and it still making noise. But chad from the service department is so great to work with very helpful.

Your auto source is a breath of fresh air in the auto sales industry. No pushy or dishonest sales reps. The sales manager Brian was awesome. Straight up and a all around good guy. Stood out in the rain while I looked at a truck. Took me for a test drive in the pouring rain when he could’ve easily told me the famous “it’s against company policy to do test drives in the rain” line. Answered all my questions and put me at ease. Not to mention they own a repair shop across the street that inspects and repairs all vehicles before selling. After working in the maintenance side of the transportation industry for 5 years I know when a vehicle has had a “bandaid put over a bullet wound”. The quality of the truck I bought for the price I paid cannot he matched anywhere. They offer a multitude of warranties when purchasing a vehicle which is what really put me at ease. No used car dealership will offer a year+ warranty if they know there’s an issue with the vehicle. Otherwise they’ll be on the losing end. Long story short, your auto source is a diamond in the rough and will now be the first place I’ll look when I’m in the market for a vehicle. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from big name car “stealerships” and come to your source auto. They have figured out how to make the process of buying a vehicle enjoyable. Just purchased an older truck from them and, other than the fact that it seemed they did not do a full inspection of the vehicle prior to pricing it (thus only 4 stars), they were great. Once the issues were identified, they covered the cost in order to close the sale without getting an increase in the purchase price. This shows they care for their customers and want them to be satisfied. They were communicative throughout all steps of the process while the truck was waiting to be repaired. We are very pleased with the truck and will return to them in the future if we need to purchase any more vehicles.

I take my Audi A4 B6 here for all my maintenance. I used to do my own maintenance such as brakes, oil changes and other things on my car but I moved farther away from work and commute a lot leaving less time to work on the car. Chuck is the tech here and he does a great job not only with repairs or maintenance, but also making sure to give a complete run down of what is needed and why. He will also go over possible future maintenance or repairs and is very knowledgeable of euro cars. I take my car here because its an affordable, reliable, and quick alternative to Audi dealers.

Clean place and nice people - unfortunately, within 2 weeks, right rear break leaking break fluid and needed to be replaced (not sure how that passed PA inspection). Also, front ball joint was supposedly replaced, but they didnt tighten it.... miss on their shops end... disappointed that within 2 weeks of having the truck, i have to replace the brakes, and failed inspection in md.

From day one the truck has been an issue, didnt even have it for 24 hours in the CV boot went out in it, I had a fender bender about a month ago.come to find out the side panels are completely rusted through I need new bed panels they covered them up with fender flares. Now to top it all off Im going to need a new motor and the truck. I havent even had the truck for a year and only put 7,000 miles on it. What a rip off you think when you pay $13,000 for a vehicle youre going to get something decent just a cover-up. Shady place. Update guess what a year into buying and terrible truck from a this so call dealership I have now spent more in repairs then what I bought the truck for. DO NOT BUY HERE ! I regret the decision for buying now Im stuck ! Thanks for nothing

This is jesss boyfriend larry and i recently bought a 2004 chevy silverado from YAS. I have been looking for a truck for a long time and i found what i wanted at YAS. At first i was hesitant because they are in York PA and i live near Pittsburgh. But i took a shot in the dark and drove down the turnpike to check out this truck. I meet chad first and he was nothing but helpful and welcoming. After the test drive, chad and i went through the numbers. He was straight forward and to the point, but friendly. i have worked for a major chevy dealership in pittsburgh and i know how under handed some car salesman can be and chad and the entire staff are nothing of the sort. They are honest and genuinely trying to make the finances work. The place was busy, but that is only evidence of the excellent inventory and the kindhearted staff at Your Auto Source.

I was lied to and Brian was not customer nice! Chad was great, but I would not buy a car from this place! They over charge for their cars so have a hard time getting you financed if you dont have perfect credit! I was told the finance company could not finance a second auto loan. I went to another dealer, got financed with second loan through same company, got a 8 year newer Jeep with less miles. Yes it cost me a few bucks extra but because they are so over priced they had to lie about the deal. I called my finance company, got the whole story, and had approval for second vehicle loan through them before I ever left my house hunting!

Just bought a Wrangler from them and the experience was great and so is the vehicle! That staff is very knowledgeable, and if they dont know something, they find out for you! I had some concerns with the Jeep before buying and all concerns were met and fixed immediately! All staff are great, personable, and honest. Don is a great owner! I was in an interesting situation and in a time crunch to purchase and he went above and beyond to speed and smooth the process! Some electrical issues arose after purchase and YAS understood and told me to immediately bring the Jeep back to address the issues! Much appreciated YAS! I will definitely recommend! I took my Mercedes to get the Service A maintenance done. The service was excellent. The price for my Service A was significantly cheaper than at the dealership and other Mercedes certified mechanics. Terrible place! Chad, the owner, was very rude. Literally said he was too busy to work with us and said he didnt want to waste his time. Terrible parking area and its overpriced garbage.

Worst car purchase decision we have ever made!!! We bought a car from this dealership and it has been a complete nightmare, to say the least! We looked at and test drove the car, went home to think about it, then called that weekend and talked to the owner about purchasing it. We offered him a VERY fair cash price that we felt comfortable with, and he reluctantly accepted saying that if sold it for that price, it wouldnt be coming with any kind of warranty.We asked him to put the stock wheels back on the vehicle and he said he would do that while we were on our way to come buy the car. We live over three hours away, so he had plenty of time....When we got there, the car was still up on the lift getting the wheels switched out and he was rushing for us to sign the purchase agreement and go get everything notarized before we could drive the car once more or even look at it for that matter. We bought the car, took it home, and it began IMMEDIATELY having serious issues. He told us since he was rushing to put the new wheels on, that it probably wasnt going to be balanced... ok, whatever. BUT, for this car to just pass inspection, to be legal, it cost OVER $1,300!! He told us that he had switched the tires out also when he was doing the wheels because He didnt feel comfortable sending us on our way after buying a car with the tires that were on it. The tires were dry-rotted and terrible! That was one of the things that needed to be fixed before it could become legal..... After all of that, the car is now sitting in our driveway completely broken down. You cant even drive it more than 1/4 mile without the engine smoking. Oh, and the remote key to unlock/lock the doors that he told us just needed new batteries was completely broken and doesnt work with new batteries at all. This ALL has happened within less than a month of us buying the car. I would NOT recommend anyone buy a car from this dealership.

I have been taking my vehicles here for 5+ years. They work on all types of vehicles. They always have my cars done in a timely manner with the problem being fixed the first time. The staff is experienced and can answer all of my questions. Their hours are convienent and they reasonably priced. I highly recommend them as I know my car will be fixed properly and the employees are always profesional, polite and dependable.

I wanted to write a quick note on how well Cory and Don treated me. I read the reviews below and rest assured the appropriate measures have been made to rectify the known issues at this fine establishment.I have been looking for a Volkswagen R32 and came across theirs on AutoTrader. I called and spoke to Cory about the vehicle. He explained everything in great detail and let me know that he has been servicing the vehicle over the past few years.He also let me know that vehicle had a performance clutch that the previous owner had installed. Cory didnt feel comfortable selling the vehicle with a performance clutch. He stated that they do not have the life of a normal clutch. I didnt want to lose my chance at this rare car. So I moved forward with the purchase which went smoothly! I drove the car home that night with a big smile on my face. Cory scheduled a time for me to drop the car off at the shop so he could replace the clutch with a factory Volkswagen clutch.So far this has been the best used car buying experience I have ever had. I would recommend Your Auto Source to my family and friends. Next time you are in the market for a pre-owned vehicle give Cory and Don a chance you wont be disappointed!!

I went in to this dealership after I was back and forth with a million emails. To make a long story short, they did everything and everything they could do to help me in my financial situation, including offering me $1000 for my truck that doesnt even have a transmission in it. What really made this place stand out though, was I was working with Chad who went to an auction shortly after I was trying to figure everything out and he picked up the exact same truck I was looking for, same year, close to the same miles and everything, because he knew this one was more inside my budget. That is a risk and that is someone who really wanted to help me out and I couldnt be more thankful for that. He answered every question I had, worked with me and was just down to earth. You dont find that in dealerships often...its usually, in the door, sell the car, see ya later...but not these guys. We are extremely happy with our experience with YAS! Throughout the purchase process, our salesman, Brian, researched and answered all of our questions and always presented a “no pressure” approach. They even allowed us to have our own mechanic inspect the vehicle at YAS, putting it up on a lift and allowing our mechanic to run a diagnostic. About 2 months after the purchase, the vehicle developed an issue (which was not specifically detectable by the pre-purchase inspection/diagnostic) that would lead to a costly repair that of course was not covered by the warranty. YAS could easily have said, “It’s a used vehicle, buyer beware.” But they didn’t. They stood behind their vehicle and did the repair at a greatly reduced cost to us! Very pleased with our experience at YAS and will highly recommend them to anybody looking to purchase a used vehicle.

I bought a car last week from this dealer, I noticed a few things wrong with the car and they corrected those items. I negotiated a price with them and arranged a date to get the car. When I went to get the car they informed me since they were losing money on the car, I would not be getting the warranty that was displayed on the car window sticker. They never mentioned in any previous conversation or phone call about them not providing the warranty that they supposedly offer I needed the car since earlier in the day I sold my other car so I had to buy theirs at the time.Needless to say I would say buyer beware in using this dealership, and I would probably not refer a friend here for the future.

I lived in York for a few years and was lucky to connect with the friends I now have at Your Auto Source. I then moved to the Baltimore area and learned quickly that the service, honesty, and quality of work put forward consistently by YAS is not universal.Its more than worth the hour drive to continue patronizing Your Auto Source for service needs on my Infiniti G35. I didnt even buy the vehicle there, but Chuck treats it like its his own.Everyone there is great. I cant say enough about YAS. I will buy my next car there! Go check them out!

Bought a 2007 bmw x5 from Don and Cory. I couldnt be happier with the attention to detail and service they gave me. I approached them about getting me a car they didnt currently in stock at thier sales lot. They assured me they could find the x5 and deliver it to me. Perfect!! A week later they called and said they had the x5 in the shop being serviced and to stop down and take a look. I came down and it was exactly what I asked for. I sat down with them and did all the paperwork and had the x5 in a matter of a hour and half. I would reccommend them to anyone. I have read the reviews here and can say I did not experiance any issues at all. They are professional and catered to my every need. Excellent service! Bought a 2003 Audi A4 in August of 2011. Has been a nightmare! Had problems the first week I bought the car. Diidnt feel like the owner really wanted to listen. Problems with the door locks + other electronics. Had the car in their garage. Cost me another 500+ dollars. Talked me into buying the warranty thinking all would be covered but it did not! Radio did not work well. Needed repaired. Never happened. Within weeks exhaust system developed a leak Was told by another mechanic exhaust system was shot. Would cost around $2000+. Owner said it would be taken care of. Thought it would be replaced but he had them patch the hole instead. Terrible service after the sale. Felt like he made the sale and didnt want to be bothered. Since then MANY problems with the car.. both minor and major. From headlights needing to be replaced to the coolant system leaking due to a crack. Had that repaired then a hose busted which caused a major leak or should I say flooding of the coolant and before I could get the car home the head gasket blew...$2700 in repairs on that bill. Now in the last month the heat went out, the one turn signal went, and the rear drivers window snapped causing in not to stay up. Plus still have a crappy radio and a shot exhaust. I have put thousands of dollars into this car and can no longer afford to put another cent into it. So after 1 1/2 year of a constant headache I had to unload it. Between the costly repairs and what I owe on the car vs what the value is with all that is wrong... I have almost as much money sunken in this vechicle as I had paid for it! I have never been in a situation like this before. I have always had decent, reliable vehicles. This situation has caused me a great deal of stress emotionally and financially. I will never buy from this business again!! I suggest you think twice. Take the vehicle to a reputable mechanic and have it gone over before you sign!! Plus read the fine print on the warranty. I was lead to believe by the owner it covered much more than it actually does. I hope this helps. I just dont want anyone to go thru what I have been thru!! Good luck!
