At first we had a good experience here with our first car appointment, but either something with the staff changed that has made us never want to come here again. Make sure you get a confirmation email of your appointment because the last THREE appointments now have been either scheduled wrong or not scheduled at all! I make an appointment one day for 11:00am and when we arrive to drop off the car they said the appointment was for 10:00am and now couldn’t take us. At first I thought it was my fault until the next appointment I make and we arrive to drop off the car, they told us there was no appointment for us at all when I did make an appointment. And now I had an app made for a Monday which I had to cancel because we didn’t have the part we ordered in yet so I make it for the next Monday. We get there to drop off the car but again there was no appointment for us when I know I made it and they said the appointment I cancelled they marked us down as a no show. I don’t know if it’s just the schedulers who are messing everything up but we are never coming here again.

Last times I’ve taken my vehicle to this location, I got nothing I asked for. I asked for my car to be checked over as I like to take care of things before they’re an issue and was ignored.Had a brake pulsation and asked my brakes to be checked; they weren’t. Was told they would have had to have a tech take car for test drive and take wheels off, etc to check brakes which is why they didn’t (only a lube tech did oil change, no tire rotation). But that’s the whole reason it was mentioned multiple times; so the right people would do what’s needed!My tires were never rotated at any visits despite my request. They are showing serious edge wear and was never told of anything, ie. needing an alignment or replacing parts. Given its a tire shop you’d think they’d at least let me know about my tires. I can’t imagine a store having me beg to spend money and making me feel like I’m asking too much. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Was able to get me in quickly and get my Jeep 35 finally balanced. Everywhere was very nice, shop was nice and clean.

We where dealing with a low tire pressure tire for 3 days. We know that we needed tires but was hoping to hold off until next month. Since I travel a lot, I can not afford to have a blow-out tire and possible damage to the rim. Nello Tire did not have the tires I wanted but they did have the tires I needed. The people where professional and listen to my needs, our vehicle was taken right away. We waited 30-40 minutes for them to remove the old tires from the vehicle and then the rims. Get all new Firestone Tires (4), put them on the rims, install them on the vehicle, balance them and we where out the door and back on the road. Thank you Nello Tire for taking great care of us.

I had my oil changed and my car inspected. No issues. The cost was very reasonable. I was able to get an appointment that suited my schedule. I was second in line to check in and check out and someone came from the office to help me in under a minute! I will definitely be back.

I went to Nello because friends said they worked on high end wheels and were super careful and did a great job. I brought in a set of brand new wheels still in the box and they managed to put a nice size chip in one of them. And when their powder coat guy “fixed” it, he left more imperfections and specks and made it worse. I’m not sure how you can be a place that specializes in mounting tires and do that poor of work. 🤨 10/10 would not recommend.

This is my second time getting tires installed at Nello Tire at the Haines Road location and I couldnt be happier with the customer service and quickness/reliability of service. I first used Nello Tire four years ago when I didnt have a clue about tire size, wheel size, in regards to what would fit on my Jeep. They were super helpful and got me set up in the right direction with tires/wheels and I couldnt be happier with the service. Fast forward to last week...I emailed and inquired about getting another set of tires for my Jeep from Nello and the customer service representative (I think Frank) was quick to respond. We exchanged multiple emails and he was very helpful. When I arrived today, the tires were at the shop and the customer service representative walked out to my Jeep to double check that they had in fact got the correct tires that I requested. I also requested an additional service when I arrived at the shop. I asked if they could salvage one of my less-worn tires and mount it on a stock jeep rim so I had a spare and didnt have to buy an additional 5th wheel. That turned out to be no issue or problem! A couple hours later they called and my Jeep was ready to go. Once again, Nello Tire of York did not disappoint and exceeded expectations! I will continue to use this business and highly recommend Nello Tire!

Went in to get a flat tire fixed and was blown away by the great service and low price. Not only did they fix the flat, but they put the tire back on, filled it up and put the spare back in the well and put the trunk back in order. They went above and beyond just fixing the flat and all in less than 30 min and less then $30. I also purchased tires here for my last vehicle at a price lower than I received from getting estimates from 3 other places. Definitely best service and price around!

I recently replaced all four tires on my Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk. . Dennis was very helpful in assisting me in determining which all season tires would meet my needs. I got the Michelin Defenders and they definitely are quieter and ride better that the original Firestone tires. They also worked to get the vehicle ready when I needed to pick it up. First time customer. Got tires mounted and balanced bought from Tire Rack, along with an alignment on my Lexus IS250 convertible. I didnt mention I wanted an alignment when I made my appointment, so I had to come back in the afternoon, but that was my fault.No issues with the mounting and balancing, and alignment was adjusted quickly. My previous tires were wearing oddly, and they found the issue and corrected. Feels nice to have a quiet and smooth riding vehicle again. Even drove with radio off to enjoy the experience....probably weird I know. 😂Staff is very friendly, along with keeping me updated when the alignment on the vehicle before me was running long. They have earned a new customer.

Drove in from Columbus, Ohio because my mechanic was incompetent of balancing my wheels right. These guys performed a Road Force Balancing (yes, they have the Hunter machine), fixed all my issues in a timely manner and sent me on my way. The shop is nice and clean, and they have great customer service! Would recommend to locals 5++

While the price was good for 4 tires and alignment......the wait for how long it took was not. 2 hrs for tires and alignment?? Thats a bit excessive i made an appointment the appointment time should be specifically for that customer. Other people came in and were out immediately.....i wont go back and will not recommend. Then the guy checking me out forgot he gave me the keys to my car and so he just took off and didnt mention it or anything and i had to wait for him to come back and ask if i had them 😐

Got an online quote for 4 tires and alignment. Stopped in a few day later made an appointment that was 2 week out for what was quoted for 8am. Drop keys off at 7:50am. Paid the bill at 10:42am. Over 2.5 hrs to mount, balance, and do a alignment? I thought tires was the main part of there business. I have had one guy replace all 10 tires on my tractor in less time.The only reason for the 3 stars was because of the price.One other subjection is tell you tech to put down the battery powered wrench and pick up a lug wrench. When I got home I always check my lugs after any of the tires have been removed. I found a total of 6 lugs loose

I had two tires mounted. My car was taken in immediately. Both the reception /waiting area and the garage were clean and neat. Fox News was on the TV, a plus for me. I didnt time it but I thought the service took a little long, but when I looked up my car was finished and parked out front. I thought the price was reasonable. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

Weve been using Nello for many years, I trust them completely and know they will do the job right at a reasonable price. Weve bought tires and batteries, inspections and other service work. Theyve even saved us a lot of money by identifying issues as probably being under warranty and suggesting we take the vehicle to the dealership for the work. They could have done the work, charged us full price, and we would have never known, but instead they have shown integrity and honesty. I highly recommend Nello, they are the best auto service center in York.

I have done a lot of price comparisons at 7 or 8 different tire places in York. Nello seems to have the greatest selection allowing for various price options. Some of the shops around here are stuck with a single brand which can be expensive. Nello is very upfront with the cost and provide several options to choose from. The staff is very nice. CJ at the desk is great to work with. State inspection was easy enough. Will probably take it here for an oil change next time I need one. Would recommend.

I bought tires about 6 months ago. Had a flat today and went in to get my tire replaced as per my warranty. They told me they would have my tire by Wednesday. I asked them if they could take a look at my spare because it was flat. They took my car in, filled up my spare, and plugged my tire properly so that it would last and I would not have to come back in 2 days for my new tire!

Excellent service! I requested a quote from their website which I received in a matter of minutes. I called to follow up and ask them to order the tires they were in within a half a day. When the car went in for installation the store was clean and welcoming the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had new tires mounted and balanced here. They were balanced incorrectly, so I returned to the shop only to have the owner tell me his techs are the best in the business, and there is no need for them to be rebalanced... He pretty much told me to get lost. I further explained to him the need to have them re worked, he agreed with me at one point, yet still refused to correct his work... without me paying again.

Fast and good work. They were one of the only places around that I could find that had the proper equipment for reverse mounting wheels and offered nitrogen fills. They are also a Tire Rack partner installer which is a huge plus for me. Price was reasonable and their staff was very accommodating.

Had a problem with my valve stems and sensors. Nello had parts on hand (for Smart Car) next morning. Work done professionally and quickly. Friendly and courteous service. Highly recommended.

Stopped by and they finished it faster than I expected. Remember The Titans was on the tv in the waiting room and Im kinda upset I didnt have time to finish it. The price they told me before ordering was the price I paid (4 all season tires for $450. Cant complain too much about that) Great experience for my 1st time. I have always gotten good work at a fair price from Nello.

Had my starter replaced, when I picked up the car it didnt run. They decided not to clean the throttle body before reinstalling it. Charged me to do so after accusing me saying the car must have ran like that before it was brought here. On top of that, I get home and inspect the work they did, battery wasnt bolted down at all, Im surprised the bracket stayed in place. Do not recommend.

Yet another amazing experience today with Nello Tire! I had a tire about to blow out and brought it to them at 2pm. They know I drive about 100 miles a day to and from work, so rather than me having to take a day off, they promised to fix it same day. They had to drive to their warehouse to get the tires, and still had replaced them and changed my oil by 4pm. Not only did they go out of their way to make sure Im safe on the road, and didnt have to miss work, but Frank spent the extra time to shop tires with me to help me fit the cost in my budget. Having a service place that not only has great prices but is honest and goes out of their way for customer service is priceless! Im a Nello customer for life.

Under NO circumstance should you ever go here. I purchased 4 new tires for my Honda Element and within a week of getting them on I heard a rattling sound around my tire. After looking, I noticed that 2 of my 4 tires had up to three loose lug nuts (so much so that I could hand turn them). After talking with them, 5 months later I took my car back for a tire rotation and THE SAME THING HAPPENED. This place does not take the time to do the job right and I could have been in a severe accident. Avoid them at all costs!

Bad place... Not real mechanics... Came here for a wheel alignment... Steering column needed adjusting before the alignment and they elected to tell me after they tried to align wheels... Charged me $50 for nothing... Said they couldnt see that... Any REAL mechanic WOULDVE KNOWN BETTER..

Very bad experience with brake work. 3 times w out a car for multiple days. 4 months later noticed they air wrenched on oil filter too. Who does that! Local oil change place had super hard time taking off. I would trust nello for anything besides tires.

Hands down one of the worse establishments I have ever been to. I wish I could rate it lower. I urge you, please drive further to avoid this place. Even if it takes hours, it would well be worth the hassle/fraud that happens here. First, the staff here is rude and seem to go out of their way to ruin your day. One of the clerks (an older man) was so impolite and down right rude I walked out. I should have learned my lesson. Instead, I returned for an inspection. I waited 3 hours! I could understand a wait due to my lack of appointment but that is excessive. However, this is not why I rated so low. Once the inspection was done l was told I may need brakes within the next 3 to 4 months. My wife called in later that week and had the phone on speaker while doing her hair. She told the woman she needed brake pads and wanted a quote. The woman responded If your getting brake pads, you NEED to have a alignment and new rotors. (Its a 2014 vehicle and this happened in DEC 2017). I cant quote the exact price (Sorry) but it was over $600. Mind you, we havent given any personal information, and only gave the make and model of our car. She DID NOT know anything that the mechanic told me during the inspection and she was advising us to buy rotors and an alignment over the PHONE! SHE DIDNT EVEN SEE THEM! How could she say that! Its false and completely ridiculous! Please avoid this place, you will be ripped off, and be charged outrageous prices.

This place is highway robbery! When we come here they are desperately trying to get you to sign on to their outrageous suggestions. Dont be in a dyer need for inspection as they will offer up a nice charge. My husband took our truck for inspection and they charged us for 2 inspections as we had to leave it there as inspection expired. So the following work day 3 days later they spring on us we need a part cost 900. dollars. We decided their crazy!! I took our vehicle to our reg HONEST machanic and 375 dollars later we got our inspection! Ill be honest our reg machanic said we must replace the upper ball joint assembly. He said to my husband if it were my wife I wouldnt let her drive around with out replacing this part!!! If nello tire was so great how could they not find this in their inspection!! STAY AWAY and if you must have service GO TO DEARLERSHIP for the make of your vehicle!! Ps Nello tire you will not see our business Eva again!!!
