I went there as a destination of the Delaware Valley Vintage BMW Club. I enjoyed their small collection of cars. They gave a technical talk on how they soup up cars that went over my head. They gave us a nice lunch.

Based on extensive research, I decided to use Kassel Performance for a dyno tune for my BMW 650i M Sport Plus. I drove from Columbus, Ohio to get this service done and it was absolutely worth it. Had a 335d tuned here, can’t say enough great things about the shop and staff. The service was quick, and they even diagnosed a bad maf in the process and had a replacement in stock for a very fair price. Fabrication work here is top notch as well.

Excellent service. Insane tuning. Would recommend. Had a 335i xi tuned and it opened it up nicely. Felt like I just spent 10k on parts, but it was just a tune.

The charge 116.00 per hour but for an hour worth of work they estimated the job to cost 378.00 I supplied my own parts. Not a happy camper rip off.

Got the stage 1 ots tune for my 08 335xi, seriously increased throttle response and drivability, highly recommend this service to anyone who owns and drives any modern turbo bmw!

After having a bad experience with a similar BMW ready swap DME company in the US, we contacted Kassel performance and sent them our DME. Within 48hrs of receiving it, the DME was on its way back down under to Australia. To say that Jims service met our expectation is an under statement, he exceeded it and them some. As the DME swap was for a race car and one size doesnt fit all, Jim was more than happy to log on remotely after hours and make some additional changes. There are not many people in this world that would put themselves out considering the 14hrs time difference. Their slogan of Champions of the Word is right on the money. He claimed that he can program my e36 ecu he charged me $277 for the work and did nothing but shipping the ecu back the way it is,mainly send it out to pass deq car failed to pass emissions,contact him and mailed him the failed deq certificate he ignored my emails liars i wont recommend kassel to anyone unless youre looking for someone to scam you!!

AMAZING shop, great work, incredible support, and really cool people. Theyre not like most (especially German car) shops, trying to upsell and nickel and dime you - they just want you happy and your car at 100%. I typically dont trust anyone with my vehicles, but these guys are bigger BMW enthusiasts than me which makes it easy to trust them with my car.

Had my x5 deleted and tuned here. Major issues after I believe who is Dan Wagener that worked on it. Car feels like it has a boost leak. Check engine light came on a week after. Had to bring it to someone else to fix all of the problems that Dan caused.

What a total cluster F$%K. Sent my DME to be reprogrammed, got it back with no repairs, sent a second one, software was corrupt, my third one was lost in York, PA. Number 4 arrived yesterday and worked great. This is over 6 weeks of waiting, renting a car which.......cost me an additional $600. Very unsatisfied......I expected so much more...

I got my 1990 BMW 325is tuned here.I originally was going to get it tuned locally to me, but after a difficult experience with my local tuner, I sought someone a bit more experience with my car and modifications. I ended up at Kassel at the recommendation of some mutual friends, and trailer-ed my car up there. I was extremely pleased with the service from start to finish. Jim was extremely polite, well spoken, and clearly knowledgeable. He gave us a tour of his facility, which was incredibly clean and organized and showed us some of his work, which was very very well put together. Jim worked with my car all day and gave me incredible results. He even offered support after the car left. Jim and Kassel Performance have exceeded all of my expectations, and I will absolutely bring my next project to him when the time comes!

I had sent my dme out to be tuned. Tuned for the wrong 02 sensors called and told me to send t bad have done so and been over 2 months with no update have called and emailed every day for the last 3 weeks and have had no response. Car has been down and still no update of when I will get it back or if I ever will.

Been dealing with Kassel for several parts needed for e30 s54 swap. Wiring harness DME programming and airbox mod. Went up to shop and dropped parts off. Really an amazing shop. Customer service has been excellent. So far I have had a top teir experience. Picking up parts Monday. Have no doubt they will be top quality.

Highly recommend, went with these guys after a few attempts off some companys off of eBay offering similar services. You get what you pay for. No check engine lights, no 02 sensor lights and my car feels a tad bit more powerful. Go with these guys.

Purchased an e36 S54 wiring harness. After conducting research Kassels product met my OEM look and quality expectation! As the company continues to expand its brand I have one recommendation: improve customer response followup for post purchase consultation.

I have a 318ti/M50 swap project car where I had to bypass the EWSII system to get it started. Made it as far as cranking but had no power to the fuel pump, so no start. Researched problem on many BMW forums over the course of several days, but none of the various solutions worked. Someone had mentioned Kassel Performance to me regarding flashing my non-matching DME to delete EWS, so I thought Id call them to discuss my situation. It was early evening when I called the shop so I didnt leave a message when no one answered, assuming they were closed, but my phone rang 10 minutes later and it was Jim calling to find out what I needed. We discussed EWS deletes, and I also explained my specific problem. Jim immediately diagnosed the problem, told me where to look, and offered a solution, sight unseen. He even texted a drawing to explain the fix. It was a wiring issue and after I made the change the car fired right up. That saved a ton of time and money considering I probably would have had to have the car towed to a local shop because I would never have found the answer on my own. So bottom line, I placed a cold call, didnt leave a message, got a call back anyway, got good detailed advice and a texted drawing for further explanation, and problem solved at no cost to me, but with time and effort on Jims part. That is the textbook definition of establishing goodwill. Jim now has a new customer and someone who will recommend him to others.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Prior to paying for his services I inquired about monitor conditions and he assured me that they would be set to N/A. After I got my DME back I had issues with his product on my car. After multiple emails with no reply I now have a car that has a check engine light and will not pass emissions. Shoddy business practices!
